I have an HDFC Ergo Health Policy on my HDFC Bank credit card with policy number[protected], which is on auto renewal and another card protection policy that is on auto renewal and the premium amount is deducted from my HDFC bank credit card under the name Tapasi Pal.The premium amount is deducted from my credit card on a monthly basis on auto renewal.My problem is that I never opted to start the above mentioned health policy or the card protection policy and I have been paying the premium amounts annually.I have contacted HDFC customer care and requested them to close these two policies on my credit card and also a health policy (Policy No[protected])which is the only one I voluntarily opted for.However I am so displeased and harassed by the services of HDFC Bank that I wish to close the existing 3 policies on my card and apply for card closure.I do not wish to be associated with this bank.The customer care agent told me that they received my cancelation request and they are going to merge my existing 3 policies into one policy that will have a premium amount of 18, 966/-annually instead of 36, 760 total, that I am required to pay annually and once the new policy is created the previous 3 ones would automatically close and I would be refunded with Rs 13, 862, for the annual premium that I paid for my policy no[protected].However I got confirmation that the new policy with policy number [protected] with Maxbupa Health Insurance has started on my credit card however the previous three policies are still under operation.A premium amount of Rs 18, 966/- has been added to my credit card statement and after confirmation with HDFC Bank customer care I came to know that the previous three policies are still active on my credit cared.Hence the HDFC Bank customer care agent cheated me to start another policy on my card and made no effort to close the existing policies because of which I could not apply for card closure.My only request is to please ensure that all policies on my credit card are closed so that I can apply for card closure and successfully close my HDFC bank credit card.I do not wish to be associated with HDFC bank ever again.
