Account closure request

Major drawback from hdfc bank.

1. Hdfc converted salaried account to saving account by itself.

2. I have not done any transaction in this account after last salaried i got.

3. I have attached email history for account closure but no positive feedback from bank.
4. I am not payable these non-maintenance charges while i am not using their services for saving account.
5. Bank can not convert my account without my approval.

Kindly help me out of this situation

Please remember that such a timely action from your side will defeat the designs of the fraudsters.

You will need to tick the relevant boxes mentioned on the form.

This application must be signed by all joint holders where the account is held jointly in the same order of names as appearing on the account or by sole holder in case of sole ownership account to be closed.in case the account is in debit balance, please fund the account to the extent of the over-dues together with interest, before submission of application for closure.

In case the account is dormant, please submit a letter at the branch for activation of your account. Your account closure request can be processed only post activation of your account.

We regret that we are unable to process the request for account closure received through phonebanking, netbanking, e-mail, scanned or faxed copy for security and authentication purposes.in case you are unable to visit the branch, you can send the account closure application to the branch by postal service or courier.

Thanks for revert, but i am not satisfied with your reply.
Actually, i have some basic queries about my account closure.

1. I have not received any call related my salary account which should be closed instead convert in to saving ac.
2. I am getting sms about non maintenance charges of rupees 600/- from your side in every month.
3. I have not done any transaction from november 2017 on this salary account.
4. I have met an road accident in august 2018, till i am not able come bank due to arm broken.
5. I am not able to pay non - maintenance charges due to my condition due to accident and now i am jobless.

Can you please justify with my statements?

Is there other way to sort out this issue.

I am very serious about this issue please reply in positive manner.

    Hi, i had salary account in hdfc 2 years back in one company. I was doing my internship and after my internship i left for my further studies.
    The bank converted my salary account into savings account & charged monthly.. Now its 9200 negative balance. Without my permission how can the bank convert my salary account into savings account? Even they are not intimated verbally... According to rbi guidelines on savings account banks not charge even its negative balance.
    I approach branch, but they behaved rudely & refused to close account.
    Plz do juistice to me. 9200 is huge amount to me. I am not able to pay this amont. What is the solution?
    What is the action i can will take against this bank.

      I am getting a lot of calls from your bank as a promotional call for personal loan.

      I have not signed up for promotional calls and i am not interested for personal loan unless your bank is planning to give me a good amount of money and i don't need to pay you back the money.

      So please quit disturb.

        already i have complained still i get call from girls. girls keep calling and keeps laughing is it something joke services also do you offer including bank services is it complimentary.

        harassment from HDFC bank calling mANY TIMEs in a day asking for personal LOANs and disturbing my daily activities
        I told your executives 1000 times not to make CALL TO me, every time they assure they wont call, but sadly the same person even calls the next day itself or the same day.
        girls keep calling and keeps laughing way of behavior is like ### which is a not a good, when i give the phone to a woman then your executive is disconnecting the call are they interested to speak only to males and to tell you we are not that type of people

        Imagine how frustrated I would be in following situation,
        getting calls
        1.when I am driving car/bike
        2. when I am taking shower
        3. when I am in meeting
        4. when I am in roaming (I spend extra money for that)
        5. when I am having food

        we are from military this is an final warning next is what we are going to take action, what can be done in order to stop this.

        Dear Customer,

        We have investigated the matter and confirm that these number does not belong to any of our impaneled DSA. There is a strong possibility that this person is acting as a freelancer and placing unsolicited calls in violation of the rules prescribed by TRAI. We submit that your contact number has not been released by our Bank to any telemarketing agency and we have also not been able to identify the source of such calls. The call originating number listed out by you appear to be telemarketing line because registered telemarketers have been allocated 10 digit numbers of "140xxxxxxxx" number series for ease of identification. It is possible that the calls to you are in the nature of cold contacts by freelancers who acquire telecalling databases from other sources. If such contacts result in a business lead, the same could be then passed on to a DSA (Direct Selling Associate) for fulfillment. Any telecaller claiming to represent our Bank is clearly a case of misrepresentation and you are also free to pursue the matter legally. As a corporate entity, our Bank is compliant with all directives, regulations, and laws of the land and we have set in place stringent controls over telemarketing activities. However, it is beyond the scope of our control or authority to identify such freelance agents and bring charges on them. Only the affected parties have the right to take up the matter by lodging a complaint to their telecom service provider so that the matter can be taken up as per the provisions of law. The responsibility to prevent UCCs (Unsolicited Commercial Contacts) has been placed on telemarketing agencies and telecom service providers and we recommend that the matter be taken up with TRAI since the onus to prevent UCCs have been placed on telemarketing agencies and telecom service providers. TRAI's web site <http://www.trai.gov.in/> contains all necessary information on consumer rights, how to lodge complaints and penalty for violations of the DNC rules.

          Hi,

          I had submitted application form with documents to open a current account at hdfc nri layout branch bangalore. However, after several calls and follow up the branch staff is least to respond and avoiding my phone calls. Due to this my transaction are held up. I need an immediate solution to resolve this. I could not contact the branch manager as all the hdfc numbers are voice based.

            I have settled my hdfc cc as i had lost my job and was unable to pay whole amount and i have paid settled amount 41500 of 6 months emi but i am in financial crisis. I have total paid 34200 my total dues is approx 7300 rs. Hdfc executive (Bharti) mob no is [protected], call me and saying u have urgent payment of 5000 approx on urgent basis rest amount u have paid in some days. Then i am agree and i have paid 5000 rs. Then no calls no messages. I have call to bharti on 23 april 2019 and bharti not picking my phone. Then she message me ki aap tension mat lo apka letter mei hi de dungi. I am ok for statement

            Then another hdfc bank executive "krishna"call me on 4th of may 2019, and he saying u paid 74000 and he saying ki tujhe ghar mei ghuskar marenge or neck se pakadkar ghasitte hue paise nikalwayenge. And he saying abusing language on call he saying ki tune card se chicken tikke khaye hai. Wtf who is hdfc? To question me for my personal life. And he is abusing then i am abusing bcz he is saying ki tu apni maa ka dalla hai again my question wtf is hdfc bank and krishna? I have registred a complaint in police station for me and my family safety. And abused service from hdfc bank. Krishna numbers and recording save in my records. If not action for my complaint then i have registered a fir and case against hdfc bank, krishna (Hdfc) and bharti (Hdfc). Contact numbers of bharti and krishna :-

              Every month hdfc bank is doing same with me.

              I don't know what the hdfc bank is doing with my account this is 4th time time when bank deducted random rupees twice like 600, 531 and 708 again this "amb chrg incl gst for jan, feb, march and now april" i dont know why they are having problem with my account. I am totally fed up with this. I mantained minium balance also.

              I want my money back. When bank deducted amount from my account without providing any information to me. I am totally unsatisfied with service, what the hell you guys are doing with me.

                Hi.. This is deepika. I am really stressed due to the service provided by hdfc. I submitted a request to change my address in the month of january.. After so much follow up by direct visit to bank and calling again and again, address was finally updated before 2 days. Then i tried to submit a request for check book-savings account using net banking. Since i was facing issues, i contacted the nearest branch. They told it is submitted and i will get my check book in a couple of days. Finally i have received mail that check book request is for current account and
                Not for savings account. This is one of the worst banks in india. Do you know the duration i have been waiting for a simple request?? Please don’t take people for granted..

                The issue has been resolved.. thanks to Pragathi from DLF Hdfc branch.. actually earpI contacted Nagercoil branch. They informed that this issue cannot be resolved.. but finally she helped... I am still confused why no one from Nagercoil branch was able to do the needful... it is a very simple request.. I hope everyone are aware of different policies to handle customer requests in Hdfc..please take care of it in future..

                      I am the owner of account - [protected] i am disputing the following transactions that were charged to my account without my authorization
                      Date: 06/03/19
                      Amount - rs. 708. (Rs. 1416). Money has been debited twice for the month of march & april, from my account on 07/05/19 @ 7:22pm stating that it's due to some "amb chrg incl gst charges" without any notice.

                      I am the victim of this. I have enclosed a copy of my monthly bank statements which lists the unauthorized transaction. Please adjust my account information as you should atleast notify us about the balance before randomly deducting money like this.
                      I have very low balances in the past also but was neither been charged nor been informed.
                      I am highly dissapointed with this kind of deductions without any prior notice to customers, which force me to write such complaint and at the same time request you to refund the amount or else i have to stop using your services.

                          While giving card they told its life time free card, but early deducting rs 500,
                          For the same i communicate with customer care they told we make it free for life time.

                            I've received the below message on 04 may 2019. I've traveled on 26th and 27th of april and i believe all the toll charges are debited normally without any chance of due/improper scan. I'd like to know what is this rs 305 adjustment entry related to?. If this is a cumulative charge of certain toll plaza charges, then i'd like to know complete details of the improper scan with date and time.

                            I hope to receive a reply from you at the earliest. That said if i do not receive a reply from you regarding the below-required clarification. I'd deactivate/disconnect this tag and go for better services from other service providers.

                            I've similar adjustment entry related transactions before as well and if possible, please provide me clarification about them as well. The more you delay in responding, the more time i've to analyze the transactions and would definitely let me take an opinion to suspend using your services.

                            Your fastag a/c has been debited for rs. 305 for adjustment entry on 5/4/2019 7:17:39 pm. Balance amount in the a/c is rs. 0 - hdfc bank ltd.

                                Cancellation of one assist membership
                                I am a hdfc bank credit card holder. The bank has auto debited rs. 1399/- from my credit card number ending with 545964xxxxxx2595 without my concern on date:05/08/2019. I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. From past 3 years this is happening i personally visited bank they gave some customer care no they are irresponible no one is responding properly on this they keep on ignoring worst service provider frasturated with your banking they just send message as welcome kid as dispatched so cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of rs.1399/-

                                  I went to my bank they dropped a mail to a team and asked what can be done, but after long effort with both banks, i got succeeded in holding the fund in south indian bank c. P but still clue less how to get the fund back, as hdfc and south indian bank are no giving me rie solution so, i thought to approach directly,

                                  I want to ask bank why they do not check the name also in such online
                                  Transactions.. Its a fault by mistake and we know where is the money and both bank have complaint, but are helpless to help a costumer... I am stuck what to do it will be a great help if south indian bank and hdfc to help me out.

Please be informed that HDFC Bank is not in position to validate a Non-HDFC Bank Account number while an IMPS transaction is done. This is also mentioned under the "Note" section on the Third Party Funds Transfer - IMPS page within NetBanking and MobileBanking. However, as a special case we have raised a query with the beneficiary bank. They are awaiting consent and closure of formalities from their concerned beneficiary.                                       I've finished my emi without any delays even various struggles faced financially, i did this honestly.
                                      May 05, 2019 is my loan closure date and everything settled from my side.
                                      They've sent no objection certificate by courier.
                                      I've paid rs.17000 interest for my loan amount rs.65000.
                                      But they doesn't have a proper printer\printing cartridge in their office to print my noc.
                                      Half side only printed. And someone who verified and checked this doesn't notify this mistake ans signed blindly.
                                      We paid more, but the insulted in all ways.
                                      This is the example.
                                      I went to kodaikanal branch hdfc bank and asked about this.
                                      They've simply replied with, "this is not a problem, you can go with this to rto office and they'll do further steps".
                                      How can they agree this one for vehicle process?

                                        I applied for the hdfc diners black credit card. I even opened a new savings account as it was a requirement for the card. The savings account opened successfully.

                                        Its been two days and my status is now being shown as decline on the website without any call/reasoning or anything else.

                                        It would be great to have some kind of transparency into the process. There is no human on customer care to whom i can talk to.
