Indifferent & Go to Hell attitude

Dear Sirs,

I am the owner of Maruti 800 - KL 04 N 6996, registered in the name of Satheesh Kumar, my brother.

This was purchased from Indus Motors, Kochi and delivered at Kayamkulam on 31.10.2003.

Within a few days of the purchase, another vehicle made a dent on the back door.

I went to the Indus showroom to get this repaired. To my surprise the Officer there told me that it will cost nearly Rs. 2,500 (two five zero zero rupees) and that I must leave the car there for two days.

From Indus, I went to another workshop at Kayamkulam known as Autocat, and within 1 hour, the Technician there levelled the dent on the back after removing the back glass. They charged me Rs. 100, I got back my vehicle in one hour, and they permitted me to watch the whole exercise.

This was my first bitter experience with Indus and thereafter I visited Indus only for the free services.

All other repairs were done at other places and I have never approached Indus Kayamkulam nor have I claimed any Insurance benefits until 12.12.2009.

On 12.12.09 midnight, I met with an accident and the pictures are given below.

The car went out of control, hit an Electric post, and broke it into two with the left hand side wheel.

By evening of 12.12.09, the car was shifted to Indus motors for repair as advised by a friend of mine and this copied to him - name KHM Ashraf, who is also a surveyor.

On 16.12.09, I contacted M/s. HDFC Ergo, informed them about the accident, and got the Claim No. 331598.

The ERGO surveyor one Mr Rajesh surveyed the damages and by 6.1.10 M/s. Indus motors informed me to take delivery of the vehicle and said that I must pay Rs. 9,500 as my share and the rest will be paid by the Insurance company. To my surprise, neither the Surveyor nor the Technician at Indus involved in this repair has informed me the extend of damages or the cost involved and my share of the kitty. Everything were guarded secrets between Indus & HDFC ERGO.

However, my friend Ashraf, who visited the workshop and assessed the damages knew something more and told me that the battery is also damaged in the impact and see that they are changing it also as I have a legal right for its replacement.

As expected, when I visited Indus to take delivery of the repaired vehicle on 6.1.10, I found that the battery has not been replaced as required. Then I was forced to remove the battery and showed them the leak and the technician involved came with an excuse that the surveyor is not agreeing for the replacement.

I just do not know whether a battery change was already recorded and they are playing a game to fool me and pocket the money.

From my first experience with Indus, I am convinced about this cheating of Insurance firms by people involved -- for a repair that I paid Rs. 100, the Indus masters demanded Rs. 2,500 and promised that the Insurance firm will pay the money.

The car has an AC and Gas connection and I am not aware whether these things are in order after the repair. The major parts of these two additional fittings are on the left side of the vehicle damaged in the accident.

I also feel that the Surveyor involved - Mr. Rajesh - is trying to be smart to be in the good books of the Insurance Company by cheating people who patronise HDFC-ERGO. I understand that this Mr. Rajesh is making more than a lakh every month from Insurance companies. On the other hand my friend cited is not in the good books of Insurance firms as he is more concerned with the rights of the customers.

I am a doctor working at CHC, Thrikunnapuzha, which is 17 kms. away from my home and I drive an average of 80 to 100 kms everyday for various purposes. Unfortunately, my 90-year-old mother had a fall on 15.12.09 and she broke her thighbone and was admitted in a hospital 15 kms away from my home at VSM Hospital, Mavelikara, which is in another direction. So for the last 20 days I was forced to travel more than 150 kms. daily. For this, I was forced to hire a car paying a daily rent of Rs. 600.

As I found out on 6.1.10 that the repair done at Indus was not satisfactory, I left the Indus showroom without taking delivery of the vehicle after showing them the leak in the battery.

To my surprise, no one from Indus Kayamkulam bothered to call me till date and inform me about the progress -- till today - 9.1.10. However, a girl from Kochi Indus Office was calling me regualarly from phone No. [protected] for the last four days to find out whether I was happy or not with the repair work done at Indus Kayamkulam. She used to call me when I am busy with my hospital work and used to tell her to call me after 1 pm. However, she has not done that. Moreover, there is no meaning in telling all these to her.

Hope both the parties involved -- Indus & HDFCERGO -- will take up this issue seriously. My personal loss for hiring the vehicle for my day to day use works out to Rs. 18,000 by now.

Kindly see that I am not driven to other places to get what I deserve.

Indus Motors/HDFC ERGO — Irresponsible attitude

Technicians at Indus are unable to convince the HDFC-ERGO Surveyor to do justice to the customer.
The car shown had a broken battery and the Surveyor is not ready to replace it and the Indus Technicians fixed the broken and leaking battery and want to deliver the car to me. I do not know whether there is some foul play between the tow parties.

        Hi.

        Am Vikas Mehta. i had atken a Health Insurance policy from HDFC ERGO General Insurance on 23 Oct 2009.

        UHID NO. HDFC[protected].

        REf No. HR[protected].

        Claim id No. 1096/1 and 1097/1.

        Under above mentioned policy i was given a health indurance of rs.2,00,000.

        I was ill on 28 oct 09 and was admitted in balaji hospital in paschim vihar new delhi, referd from there to VIMHANS new delhi.

        a total bill amount came to near rs.49,000. asVIMHANS is not in HDFC ERGO General Insurance Cashless Hospitals i paid the bills in cash .

        Later on when i submitted all the documents to the FHPL New Delhi ( TPA for HDFC ERGO).

        The required documanetation ( bills , reports, doctor's prescription) evertything was submitted on 11 Nov 2009. After that again some issue was raised by FHPL for more documentation required from Balaji Hospital again on 25 Nov 2009 the required documents were submitted to FHPL New Delhi.


        From that date till today there is no solution or a documented reply from the FHPL or the HDFC ERGO.
        We have been doing constant follow up with FHPL offices in New Delhi & Hydrebad offices speaking to various individuals but nothi g is going in favour of the claim.


        Reauest you to please look into the matter and get it closed at the earliest.

        Bajaj Allianz General Insurance/ Health insurance — No actions taken on the request of cancellation of policy

        I requested to cancell the policy taken by me customer care executive given me a complaint no 4186085 for this and said that your policy will be cancelled and the money will be refunded within 14 working days but till date after 4Months also no action taken.
        i have an credit card with HDFC. with out my knowladge bajaj allaiaze debited my card. i want to cancell that policy. still now i didnt received my doc alsp. please cancell that policy...my request no 31750827

        Am ashok kumar sharma. i had atken a Health Insurance policy from HDFC ERGO General Insurance on 18 july 2012.

        hdfc ergo id NO. HN[protected].

        Under above mentioned policy i was given a health indurance of rs.3, 00, 000.

        I was ill on 10 DEC 2012 and was admitted in metro hospital in faridabad Haryana.

        a total bill amount came to near rs.15, 600. Metro hospital made a fax to hdfc ergo office but no reply from the hdfc ergo. i paid the bills in cash .

        Later on I ha been trying to Contact to hdfc help line, but massage comes all executive are busy at this time please hold the line, and after 5 or 10 minuets the call disconnected.

        No buddy is ls available to attend the call.

        Request you to please look into the matter and get it closed at the earliest.

          Thanks for the responce and give me the information regarding discrepancy of <chassis no missing>.

          I regret to inform you of your reason, discrepancy of <chassis no missing>.

          How could you make the policy for the period from 3rd June 2008 to 2nd June 2009 without any chassis number? And how could you also renewed it for the period from 3rd June 2009 to 2nd June 2010?

          Why you could not inform me about "missing the chassis number", when you make the policy and at the time of renewal?

          As per the norms I paid full premium for the two years. You have not checked the RC copy that is the discrepancy on your part. I am not liable for the same. So I could not compromise for your mentioned reason.

          As per you information you provided, my claim approved for Rs. 1573/-, where I made payment at the garrage for Rs.3430/-. The claim amount sould not below for Rs.1800/-.

          Please verify the same, and give me a clear claim details about my vehicle no.WB26C4888.

          At the same time I wish to inform me you that I have applied to RTO for the new RC Book with chassis number.

          I think your company should not compromise the discrepancies/negligencies from your part. I am waiting to get your clear clarifications for all above of my quries.

            Hi,

            I work with Freescale Semiconductor and we have a Mediclaim Policy with HDFCergo through Paramount Health Services(PHS) as TPA.I would like to register my complaint against PHS and HDFC Ergo.

            My Mother Complained of acute gidiness,headache and difficulty in walking in Early mroning Hours.I took her in Emergency to the Fortis Hospital Faridabad at 6AM in the morning.The doctor on duty tried to make her stable by some Injection and other treamtent but didn't find any improvement in her condition.She was not able to even sit on her seat.
            As a result the Doctor advised us to admit her.

            she was admitted and again examined by the Neurologist doctor for Cerebeller signs such as Tendom Walking, Knee heal etc.The Doctor informed us that she may be suffering from Acute Virtigo(Posterior Circulation TIA) and adviced us to get the tests like MRI,CT Scan,Blood and Urine tests.All of the tests done were incidental to the problem which my mother reported.Her MRI reports were normal.The Doctor Suggested to keep her under observation for some time.She was kept on antivertigo treatment along with other Symptomatic treatment.

            After observing her condition to be stable and after 28 Hours of hospitalization,we opted to Discharge her.She was discharged on request with follow up Medical Prescription advice(such as Ecosprin) for 5 days and again consult the doctor.

            The Insurance company rejected the hospitalization with a note that "Hospitalization was primarily for Investigation
            and hence can't be compensated.The Investigations could have been done as per OPD".

            How can they say that we went primarliy for investigation and these could be done as a part of OPD?

            1)I had to admit my mother in Critical Condition.She was in no condition to even sit and So how can the insurance comapany expect me to wait for the day to get her diagnosed in the OPD for the same.

            2)Secondly I took her to the Emergency ward where she was given some basic treatment, but her condition didn't show any improvemt even after one hour.As a result,only on the advice of the Doctor,I admitted her in to the Hospital.

            3)All the tests that were carried out were incidental to the ailing condition of my mother and were conducted on the advice of the Doctor.


            Please suggest me how can I take this battle forward through the Consumer Court platform.The whole process has been a mental torture for me.Even during the hospitalization of my mother,I spent crucial hours hanging around the TPA guys to get a cashless claim for the same.I was working like a co-ordinator and messenger between TPA and Hospital Staff.
            These guys are trying to prove a genuine hospitalization to a false claim done mainly for Investigation.

              We have an auto policy no VP[protected] valid as of 6/6/2009 for an honda accord car. We had requested an NCB certificate for the same to be delivered to us on the 6/6/2009 as well as forwarded advance payment on the `policy. However even after the visit of Ms Bhakti and Mr Sameer, associate Managers to our office and subsequent calls to them with an commitment to deliver our NCB certificate by the 6th, the same was not delivered nor were they professional enough to call and inform us the reasons for the delay.
              This is our second experince with HDFC ERGO, as previously our office had registerred an claim for an incidence for the car and registerred the same online as well as phone. Unfortunatly, no one from their end called or followed up. We were further shocked when the renewal was sent NCB was not included even though no claim was made or paid. This amounted to cheating and only upon taking the matter to the senior level was the NCB correctly stated and correct renewal amount insurance premium notice sent.
              Under the circumstances, due to the above experience, we requested for the NCB certificate to insure our new car and tranfer the old one.
              However even with their staff meeting our Director Mr Bandukwalla in person and promsing improved services with a commitment to deliver the NCB certificate on the 6th june the same was not done.
              In so much as even, in these small but important matters the company staff are inefficent, and make commitments without requisite authority .
              We wish to register our complaint for their poor and deficent service.
              Strongly recomend that HDFC ERGOb should be an company to insure with as a last resort with poor expectation of any service.

              Dear Sir

              I had resigned from the organisation (HDFC ERGO GENERAL INSURANCE LTD) as per the instructions of mr. biju menon and the threatining of mr. senthilvelavan. Even though i was doing well because of their personal geredge they asked me to put my paper otherwise they will terminate me like not getting job any where.

              As a job losser my family become very poverty. we troubled for even food.


              I made a claim for my provident fund in EPFO throgh my Ex-employer, which according to them was sent to EPFO.

              So, please tell me should i wait for my claim anymore or should i take serious action against this by going to consumer court.
