[Resolved] Healthifyme — Paid plans, no cancellation policy, misinformation by the executives

I had downloaded HealthifyMe app and purchased a plan after talking and discussing with their executive. I was sold the Transform plan after being clearly explained (or rather misguided) that if I choose the annual plan, and opt for a monthly Emi, I can cancel the plan anytime and not pay for the subsequent months. Now after 5 months, I want to cancel the plan and the support team and the so called senior escalations manager etc are pointing out that they had mentioned in their terms and conditions that there is no cancellation. But there is no accountability for the blatant lying or the what now feels like (after reaching so many similar complaints here) a planned misinformation being fed to the customers by the executive who are trying to sell the plans. Shame on the company. They have a rather dubious option where I can transfer my plan to someone else (why will I push the envelope to a friend or relative when I feel cheated, frustrated and aggrieved by a product). I don't expect a money back, people should be aware. It is easy to say for the company that " our policy states no cancellation" but then there is no accountability for one of their own lying to a customer. Embarrassing.

There has been no resolution. Only thing that has been done, is to deactivate my plan, which is NOT THE SAME AS A CANCELLATION of the policy.
The money has been lost. Nothing has been done.

Updated by vivviswanath My complaint has been marked as resolved incorrectly. I have received no communication regarding any resolution to my grievance from the HealthifyMe company. They have deactivated my account as I had requested, but that hasn't translated to a cancellation of the subsequent monthly payments that they expect me to make even though I will not be using their services. My angst is clearly directed at their lack of transparency and the shameless nature in which they keep selling these plans to customers tricking them to believe that the customer can cancel any time. And on top of all that the support team has the audacity to suggest I should continue to promote their product by giving to someone I know. Laughable.
