I have 4 FDS of my family with this company in the names P.K Ubrol, K.P Ubrol, S.P Ubrol & R.P Ubrol which will get matured on 30 April 2015. The interest cheques (#297033, #297046, #297059, #297072 ) had bounced in Dec 2014. I visited the Mumbai office and was told that soon they will inform me when to deposit the cheques again. However the office has now closed down. No one answers the phone in Chennai office. My husband P.K Ubrol is a cancer patient and is hospitalized. Its very difficult for me to pay the medical bills. company seems to be fraud. Because my fixed diposit interest cheque got bounced. I saw many complaints of on internet of same problem.people wrote in their comments that Mumbai brabranch of this company has been closed. I called chinai branch, they replied that we are not from fixed diposite department so call somewhere else. Did not get any positive response . i suggest all who have same problem to contact on this mail id so atleast if we all get any update so we can take actactiaction against them. I have deposited a sum of Rs.40, 000 in my name and Rs.30, 000 (Cumulative)in my wife's name as Fixed Deposits. for 3 years. Recently their post dated cheque issued on 16.12.2014 for Rs.1212/- has been bounced from my bank. Yesterday I received a call from Crime Branch from Anna Nagar Branch, Chennai asking me to submit all particulars of the deposit receipt and post dated cheque issued by the company and asking me to come on Tuesday the 27th instant. I deposited post dated cheque of the Company for the interest amount on 31st December 2014 and the same was returned with remarks 'insufficient funds'. My efforts to reach Company by email at the address given in their FDs failed as the email address was not existant. This company defaulted on interest payment cheques for FD's held by me and my family. We hold total 4 high value FD's. Initially they informed to call on 15th Jan to inform the date on which the interest cheques can be re-deposited. All F D s are matured but cheques are bounced with the instructions of STOP PAYMENT by the company to the bank.. Even the cheques for interest are also bounced. Company does not reply emails neither answers the calls. Branch office at Andheri, Mumbai, is locked and no response from head office at Chinnai

Hi, I am Gyana Ranjan, an ex-employee of "Helios & Matheson IT Ltd". I got another offer so, I resigned on 28/02/2014. From year 2013onwards, Every month the organization deducted 4000 rupees as an Insetive, Which will pay after 1 year complitation in the organization. When I resigned, Vidya ( HR) & Mahesh (VP) told that after 45days you will get your full & final settlement but when I clled them they are not pick tha calls or not responding to the mails. Some time my luck is good that they pick the calls says that due to some finance issue the payment is not credited to your account, next month you will get it. When ever I call Mahesh ( NP), he says that chennai team handel the issue, the same happens when I call chennai team, they told Mahesh is the person to contact for this case. Every time they tell the same story " this month or next week you will get your payment. From last 1 year they playing with me ( chennai--Bangalore Bangalore -Chennai). I had deposited an amount 0f Rs 1 lakh on 18th sept 2012 and maturity date was 18th Sept 2014under TDR No. FDB017889 in the name of ANTAO IRWIN JOSICO (TELno. [protected]). the cheque particulars ch.no.639467 dt18/9/2014.When I deposited the cheque in the bank it was a remark that the payment stopped by drawer.

Re: Fixed deposit bearing nos TDR No. CDB048969 Dated 28TH December 2013 Dear Sir, I had made term deposit with you bearing TDR No. CDB048969 and dated 28TH December 2013 for a sum of Rs 1, 25, 000/- and for a period of twelve months @ 12% per annum. The aforesaid fixed deposit matured on 28TH December 2014. Thereafter along-with the term deposit receipt post dated cheques were issued by you for a principal sum of Rs 1, 25, 000/-and towards interest a sum of Rs 15850/-. The aforesaid cheques were issued towards payment of the principal and the agreed interest amount for a period of twelve months. My widowed mother and I have purchased nearly Rupees 7 Lakh worth of Fixed Deposits and today I found from my Mother's Bank Pass Book that the interest cheques for a mere Rs One thousand odd have bounced and also a Penalty levied by the Bank. Will someone advise what is the present scenario and when shall we receive our monies???
