Hero Electric — new battery | |||
I bought a hero electric optima plus in mid 2015. It was a pleasure to ride the vehicle in the happy knowledge that i am not polluting my surroundings. But a few months back the battery started losing power fast and the dealer chennai eco motors tested and confirmed that a new battery is needed. The cost will be rs 12000/- but will last only 6 months after which i have to go for a new battery. Even a suv will not consume rs 2000/- per month! Hence this complaint. What should we do? Is what the dealer says is the truth? Is e bikes are meant only for 2 years on road? Was this information helpful? | |||

I replaced battery for Rs.20000 and battery has gone with in 10 months and they say warranty is only for 6 months. waste of money.

the change of battery @ 19500 every two years is just plane LOOT .even a Land curser will not have this kind of a battery change .
