Subject:- HERO nahin ZERO. Nightmare of a lifetime after becoming the owner of a hero motor corp product namely a motorbike glamour 125 CC.
Dear sir,
I Prateek Bhatia a resident of 26 A Krishna Nagar kanpur road New Alambagh Lucknow 226023 made one of the worst choices in my life on 11th March 2022 by choosing your company and product over Honda's. This i did as i believed in the idea of being an Indian, I believed that we Indians if put our mind and integrity can beat the best in the world. And so i thought that after the split which happened between hero and Honda your products would logically have to be better then them . As you have something to prove to the world that you being an Indian company can survive with out Japanese partner and technology and even compete with them and beat them. This was your first solo product I was buying after that split. I preferred it over Honda shine.
The moment I went out of the show room this vehicle started giving troubles to me. With in 1 to 1.5 kms from the showroom it stopped in the middle of the road. And then it refused to start. 5-6 times I tried to start it and then it finally started. Its self start was struggling. After one or two attempts at start the whole LCD panel shut and struggled while starting as if it was some old or discharged battery. But then as I trusted your product I thought that may be your dealer never charged the battery before delivering it and just gave the bike like this. I thought that what can go wrong in a new product of such a branded company and gave it a pass. That was the worst mistake I made. In today's world as they say in Hindi “ Bharosa to apne baap pe bhi nahin karna chahiye”.
Trusting the company and the brand I just made it stand in my parking for the next 3-4 days unused with just 2 km on the trip meter. I had my brother visiting from abroad and so I was busy in a lot of other things. After few days I again took it to petrol pump and filled in 300 rs fuel just to check the mileage. To my great surprise the fuel meter still was showing empty blinking with the tank almost half full. One and half litre the dealer claimed they filled { if it was not a lie}. Even if it was a lie I just now filled it with three liters so it should show at least three bars. But it showed empty blinking all the time.
Then I moved towards my house and I asked my mother to take a ride with me. As soon as I asked my mother to sit on the bike. The bike refused to start. Again it was after 6-8 attempts it started. It started all the time but with in fraction of a second stopped { Not two three seconds after but with in one second}. Again the same LCD panel going off and the self struggling as if some old battery in there. Anyways we some how managed to start a ride only for a km or so when I found that the tyre was bubbling. Before i could stop a passerby rider alerted me that the tyres are having no air pressure. I quickly stopped at the nearby puncture shop and that guy told me that the air pressure was 20 at the back and similar at the front and which is very low. So the agency ppl not even inflated the tyres properly before handing over the bike.
Somehow we finished the ride. Here I must add a positive that the ride after that was smooth. I tried to drive at high speed also just to check . the bike was very stable and was very responsive. It was a good experience.
But then after I came back. And then after some time had to go some where and tried to start the bike again. The old problem of not starting returned. The next day I again tried to go for a drive and then when I stopped at a railway crossing and then tried to start again it just starts and stops with in a fraction of a second. And this time because of hooting from ppl at the backside who were also stuck in the jam I asked my mother to get off the bike so that I can take it to the side and then all of a sudden it started and I asked her again to climb on to the bike very fast as people were hooting. And in this excercise she got hurt very badly at an old fracture already there in her legs and since then became bed ridden.
I took the bike to the service centre and they are not able to repair it. They re formatted the bike and then asked me to not give the vehicle keys to some one else and don’t start it. They said that the mechanic will start it and check as now its reformatted digitally. But before the mechanic who was busy with some other bike could lay his hands on my bike some other swnior person asked me for the bike keys and took away the bike. When the mechanic asked the bike from me I had no clue where it was. I was told that its upside at the showroom. When I went there I was told that the bike doesnt needs repair and had a FLASHING problem which has been corrected after the FORMAT.
I AGAIN TRIED THE BIKE BUT THE PROBLEM PRESISTED. Then they asked a mechanic to ride with me. And then I showed him the problem. He said noyou are driving wrong. Then I handed over the bike to him and asked him to drive. And then the same thing happened with him also. After which he said that there is a OXYZEN AND LOW RPM problem. This all in a new bike. Some how some other person then did what behind my back I don’t know but for the time neing then the bike ran smoothly for 10-15 kms under test drive.
I returned and parked the vehicle again. After two three days again when I took the bike out with only 44 kms done { most of which during test } after running smoothly for 5-6 kms again the problem reappeared.
And there is a faulty fuel meter as well. These ppl are unable to reapir the bike. All sorts of tick tick voice is coming out of the bike even if I drive it for 100 meter. This they sauy is coming from exhaust because of engine hotting up. I said how can the engine hot up in just 100-200 meters and tick tick voice starts coming. They say in BS6 this thing happens. When I ask about the other churr churr noise which has recently started coming some times they say its because of new engine.
When I ask about the faulty meter they say again that in bs6 and electronic meter this happens. When I ask about the start stop problem they say that you keep driving right now the bike is new and after some time that will go away . we will see it in the first service. How can I drive this faulty bike which stops every where and is not reliable.
I haven't even been given the registration certificate of the bike even after 20 days. They say that the paper on which registration certificate is printed is in short supply at the RTO.
They have an flimsy excuse for anything and everything. Some times I feel that the problem is not with the bike but with this people. They have knowingly done some mischief for the bike to behave like this. I don’t know them personally and have paid 2700 extra to them which they cant explain. I paid 90000 for this bike and their total is coming for 87300 only.
The bike is standing in my house brand new and haven't even done 100km in total and this is the condition of your dealer RS Auto.
I would request you to replace this bike as its brand new and haven't even done 100 kms and if this is the state of affairs with the new thing I don’t want to imagine what it will be when it gets a bit old. Electronics and mechanical things if working well at the start keep working well through out . But if they are problematic at the initial stage then they keep on churning new problems every now and then. I think there is a manufacturing defect in this bike or there is some one playing mischief knowingly. Either ways I as a customer is at a compete loss.

One very strange thing I would like to mention more is that while your dealer has still never handed over the RC to me. One Mrs SONI working at the dealership said that your bikes chassis number reflects some other owner namely some Mr Sahu with different phone number. Now how much of that is true you can learn yourself but this is what is happening with me.

Vehicle has all sorts of problem :-
1. Start stop problem. After a ride and then when in a stationary position the vehicle starts and stops in a fraction of second. Refuses to start properly before 3-5 start attempts. This problem keeps reappearing every now and then.
2. All sorts of chur chur kar kar sounds coming from vehicle. Have even send a video to the local company official. These are not permanant but keep reappearing every now and then. Shockingly the local lucknow officer of company says VIDEOS CAN BE MADE. I am ready to face a challenge if my video is proven dictored i will loose my bike for free and if the officer Mr Deepak is found wring HIS SERVICES SHOULD BE TAKEN AWAY.
3. Faulty fuel meter. Shows one blinking bar at best 2 bars some time even with half tank full. Mr deepak says that for every 2 litre there is one bar. Going by his xalculation hero will have to resize its fuel tank from 10 to 20 litres. He further says this malfunctioning is standard and has an filmsy excuse for all the problems.
4. Gets overheated very quickly
5.Gave pathetic shockingly low mileage of 90km on 3 litre petrol before new refill. Which translates to 30kml.
6. Back tyre keeps bubbling most of the time.

When shown to service center all sorta of filmsy excuses like this happens in bs6 model that happens in bs6 model. U keep drivibg we will see at first service. The vehicle driven total of 95 kms till date and 70 kms of that driven by service ppl only to test. Knowingly mischiefs are getting played on the innoent consumer. The mother of the consumer got greviously hurt because of the start stop problem at the railway crossing and trying to get down and climb on to motorcyle in a hurry because of start stop problem and ppl hooting at the back. Shockingly insenstive behaviour from the local company officials who even after getting proofs for the problem are just busy running down the complaint. The consumer is ready for video recording to prove his complaints. And can even gaurantee to a larger extent that there is some electrical as well as air fuel mixture ratio problem other then some kick, chain and engine value problem which is knowingly being created and left unaddressed. Would like a complete REFUND of my vehicle and forget the pathetic terrible experience of being a hero company product owner and trusting an indian company product over japanese.

    I have purchased 01 Moped in 2017 Mestro Edge Hero MotoCorp Limited in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh.

    Details are as follows:

    The services provided by the dealing agency were not up to the mark. I requested customer care to provide a nearby service center then I visited Abhishek Motors, Qyoti Road, Baikunthpur, Distt- Rewa, MP as suggested by Hero customer care..

    I have to keep my moped twice for more than a month (once in 2021 and again in from Feb. 2022)

    For the last two years, we have been facing a problem with the moped due to its non-functioning. The agency informed us about the non-availability of the parts and kept them for more than 30 days. We are unable to use the moped for more than 2 months. In the last service dated 10/03/2022 Abhishek Motors, Qyoti Road, Baikunthpur, Distt- Rewa, MP raised a bill of Rs. 4490/-  and released the moped after more than 30 days. The charging amount is not the first time we paid more than 8000 for the same, but even after that my Moped is not working. We have been told many times that parts are not available and the same is not ready to handover, by saying that they have kept it waiting for 30 days or more. My moped is currently at home in nonworking condition and I am not in a condition to take it again and again to the hero agency and keep it again for more than 30 days. Without my moped, I am suffering a lot. I am also facing problems in completing my day-to-day work.

    I am forced to see a Private Mechanic, where I have paid money from my pocket and your Agencies and service centers have not given any support. I also lodged a complaint to your customer care no. [protected]. I got a complaint Id: [protected].

    The moped is not working at all now. Please take a call and do the needful. Â Hero Motocorp is a big and great company, but I am not getting proper responses from service agencies. The ethics of the company should be maintained and customers should be benefited.

    As a response to my complaint, I want my bike in a fully working condition, I request the company to replace the Moped and provide a new one. If not possible, a compensation amount of cost equivalent to the moped + service charges paid from my pocket to the hero agencies.
    If I do not get a proper/satisfactory response from the company side, I have no choice but to go for Consumer Forum, Govt. of India.

    Dear Sir,

    I am really thankful to the company that my complaint has been taken up with the Agency M/s. Abhishek Motors, Qyoti Road, Baikunthpur, Distt- Rewa, MP and two persons visited our home. But, I am really surprise to their behavior with my father. They were very annoyed and misbehaved with my father. I really depreciate this act of one of the famous and renowned franchisee representatives from “HERO MOTOR CORPS”.

    I am really very sad about the incidence happened today. Manager from M/s. Abhishek Motors, Qyoti Road, Baikunthpur, Distt- Rewa, MP said that “Bhad me jaye tumahari bike maine to start kar ke diya tha” this sentence is very bad to behave with the customer. Giving a warranty of 05 years doesn’t mean that you can do all as per your choice. Manager should be punished for this.

    I will go upto the level of higher authority in consumer forum Govt of India and also, I will file a complaint of misbehaving against the Agency and Hero motor corps. How the agency can give their franchisee to the person having this kind of behavior. Such agencies should be banned and should not be made available to the public for their services. They are acting like criminals. I don’t know if they don’t want to repair my moped, why they visited my house???

    They also have informed that the vehicle’s warranty is not valid due to non-availing of free services. Which is not true. We have claimed all our valid services for Warranty.

    If my bike is not covered under warranty, why the agency kept my bike for so long (2 months) at one go. They could have told at the beginning that my warranty in not valid due to this reason. This is going to be a small thing for the company but I will approach at the top level of the company and ask them all these questions. I will also go to the top level of the Govt system to claim my loss. This is a kind of mental harassment to the customer.

    This is a really very worst experience I ever had in my life. Customer will only trust the company, when the company will think about them. If you cannot give them proper feedback or can not talk to them in well behaviour than I request, you to kindly stop selling your products and please do not take it for granted.

    I want my bike to be in proper working condition/or compensation as replacement of current moped or the cost including bike’s prize and service charges paid my to your service centres, in my next complaint you will get track ID for consumer forum complaint followed by a notice.

    Not awaiting for your response anymore. Govt of India is with me.

    Dear Sir,

    You keep notifying your team and let the customer be in trouble. This is the situation of your company in India.

    And just want to inform you that the complaint raised on Customer Care toll free no. has been closed without resolution to the problem and without intimation to the customer.

    This company can go to any extent, but will not do good for the customer. You people are blood sucking parasites. Please my dear friendzz dont purchase any bike from Hero Motor Corps. Despite of many complaints no action has been taken.

    Do you have any updates? You people are not doing anything for the customer. Govt. Should ban such company. This Indian govt. will teach you a lesson. I will go to consumer affairs and will give a written complaint against you.

    I am not satisfied with the action taken by the company its almost 2 month.

      Dear Team,

      Model: Hero Xtreme
      TN23 BL 3568
      Fault details: Oil leak in engine.
      Service: Under AMC
      Service provider detail:southern-motorcycles, Medavakkam
      Service Manager: Mr.Settu
      Service provided: Engine center case and Side case was changed.

      Issue: For changine engine case service charge was made about RS 2800.
      Due to AMC General service charge about Rs450 and around RS.500 (AMC discount on spare and service) reduced.

      Total amount paid is RS.6954
      In this RS.1752 for service charge (Due AMC deducted about Rs.1000)
      RS 3497+1691 for spares.

      About RS.2800 (to be paid if vehicle is not in AMC) for service charge is it acceptable ?
      I was with Hero since 2013, i have given my bike for service many time to other service centers, they were not charged this much huge service charges for changing the spares.

      AMC: what was the purpose of AMC is it only for water wash? If a vechicle is comes under AMC, there should not be any other chages apport from spares.
      No other service centers/companys were charging for changing spares.

      While enquring to Service Manager Mr.Settu is not providing proper explanation, he is saying that "this is the charge you have to pay" if you want to complaint note down the mail id and do it.

      Why there is an additional charges was made for spare changes ?
      If your policy says there is an additional is manditory, what is the use of AMC? if we need to pay seperatly for changing every spares.

      Note: Eventhough my bike come under AMC i have already paid about RS.500 for correcting the oil leak in engine. changing the spare is the continuation of the same complaint, then why should i pay separatly again and again.

      I need proper explanation and service chage refund.
      If not please provide ur policy details, i will file case in consumer court.

        Regarding rc number plate

        I purchased a hero splendor+ on 12.1.22 I don't get rc and number plate yet.. state sales area manager not receive my call and dealer wasting my time. I spent my important time for hero.. i suggest those people who think bought a new hero product DON'T PURCHASE HERO. KINDLY help and any need information u can call me at [protected]...

        I purchased splendor+on 12 - 1 - 22. I don't get RC and number plate yet.. no one response me.. customer care and dealer wasting my time.. state sales area manager not receive my call.. i spent a lot of time.. i suggest to those customer who think bought a hero product .. DON'T PURCHASE HERO

              Product and management is pathetic, very bad experience with hero moto corp company, also review is bad in the market. This company is fraud and also the loss its status in the market, not a value for money. i think this company should shut down. company reputation is trash by Mr. Munjal should give resignation from the post.

                I purchased a Hero Xtreme 160R bike on March 18 from Pavizham associate Payyanur, Kannur, Kerala I had the worst experience after purchasing the vehicle. The vehicle is having an oil leakage issue, so i put forward a complaint to the showroom at Payyanur to resolve that . As per my request the mechanic came and they told me the issue is resolved. But then the same issue occurs again ( oil leakage issue did not get resolved even after the service was done by the mechanic). So i went directly to the main showroom at Kannur after filing a complaint, still the issue didn't get resolved

                  Delivery issue

                  We booked the bike xpulse200 4v on 11/03/22 and the dealer gave time for delivery between 10 to 15 days.but not its been 21 day and bike has not been delivered to me and I am not getting any proper detail about the bike....

                        I have purchased my new hero xpulse 4v on jan 2022
                        On 19th March my bike engine start making some sound
                        So I have given my bike at hero fort point mahalaxmi service centre on 19th March 2022
                        From then onwards there have been no response from hero that when my bike work will be completed and they will give me my bike
                        Everytime they say that we have ordered some parts but have received and don't know the exact time for the same
                        Replace my engine with a new one
                        And give my bike by tomorrow itself
                        I m not expecting it from hero

                          में हीरो मोटोकॉर्प का पिछले 7 8 साल से एक सदस्य हु,
                          मेने अभी भी BS6 बाइक ली ह, जिसकी सर्विस में कंपनी में ही करवा रहा हु, में आप को ये बताना चाहता हूं कि मेरी गाड़ी में बैरल का ऑइल डाला गया है। डिब्बा बन्द नही डाला गया है, मेरी पिछली गाड़ी में भी बैरल का ही डाला जा रहा है। पैसे भी रेट से ज्यादा लिया जा रहा है।
                          मेरी गाड़ी का फ्यूल पम्प खराब हो गया था, जिसकी मेरे को वारंटी नही दी गयी बल्कि बदलने के 3000 दिये गए। बिल भी नही दिया गया।
                          इनका ग्राहक के प्रति व्यवहार बिल्कुल भी अच्छा नही है। कभी कभी ग्राहक से गाली गलौज भी कर लेते है।
                          आप इस पर संघ्याण ले।

                            मेरे द्वारा पहले भी शिकायत की गई थी लेकिन शोरूम द्वारा ये बोलकर बात खतम कर दी गई की मैंने सर्विस लेट करवाई है, लेकिन जब समय पर सर्विस करवाई गई थी तब भी बैटरी की शिकायत थी लेकिन कोई मानता ही नहीं है।स्टार्टिंग से ही प्रोब्लम है और अब जब समय निकल गया तब बैटरी को खराब बता दिया, , , में कंज्यूमर फॉर्म में शिकायत करूंगा,

                                  Dear sir, I bag to say that I have bought hero pleasure new mobile scooter in Dec 2020 and due to some problem I haven't done service criteria of 15 month of 5 service but I have done 3 services in due months and I got a problem and still the service centre or agency just giving the excuse and fake really fake for a urban areas ... sir my point is just that to be trusted because we all like hero but if we buy any vehicle then after that why your behavior is change ur terms and conditions is change you should trust tell it before of purchase I got problem that's why I wrought a text msg ... just it but my personal view hero is not trusted as comparison to other companies
