This is Sasikumar. My recent hero service is the worst. After taking delivery on 4th June 2022 within 10kms vehicle stopped, got smoke in back wheel and it didn't move. I tried contacting service centre but they didn't pick the call and finally with others help I managed to reach local bike service centre.
The next day I explained everything to hero service centre and again gave my bike to check what went wrong. And they did some bearing work and gave me back saying that everything looks fine now and come after 2000kms usage from the current service date. But within 1000kms from last service bike engine seized. Got rattling noise while riding it and vehicle stopped.
And again I called then they didn't pick the call and I raised compliant via email after that service centre person called and told that its not our responsibility then the person from Hero called he told we cant cover engine faults as it crossed 5 years. Actually I trusted Hero thats why I gave my bike to authorised service centre. Now the engine expense cost around 15k rupees. so Hero and dealer both are not taking responsibility.
And I got a mail from Hero saying that due to improper maintenance engine seized but I strongly believe that due to improper service by inefficient technician caused this issue. I bought my bike on 17th April 2017, till date usage is 24500kms only. And the incident happened while travelling with my family to hospital for my kid treatment. I'm so depressed.
For service issue, asking money from customer is unfair. So Hero need to repair my bike with free of cost.
