I am filing this complaint against Hidesign for failing to issue a refund and for providing misleading information regarding my returned item. The product was a laptop bag with visible damage, which I returned exactly as instructed in the original Hidesign hard cardboard box. The return was picked up by Hidesign’s arranged courier and delivered via Delhivery on October 25, as confirmed by tracking records. Despite this, Hidesign now claims that the item they received is not the same, which is false and indicates serious mishandling or potential fraud either on their part or on their courier partner’s part. The photos Hidesign shared as “proof of returned product” appear manipulated, with white borders suggesting they have been edited or screenshotted, and the box shown is not the one I sent. The tracking number and label in their image are blurry and unreadable, preventing verification. Hidesign failed to provide clear, legible, unedited images of the received package and shipping label (including tracking number and address) for independent verification. They also failed to check their internal records for the SKU ID of my returned item and share evidence that it is not in their possession. This case reflects a lack of transparency, record mismatch, and possible alteration of evidence by Hidesign. Additionally, the company has no working customer care number, and its WhatsApp and chat support are non-functional, effectively blocking customers from escalation.
