This complaint is about the hrtc booking office at isbt delhi kashmere gate.

I booked a ticket from delhi to vaknaghat (Shimla) through hrtc online booking portal for 13/08/2017 of hrtc himsutta volvo bus.
The bus timings were - departure at 10:30 pm from delhi isbt kashmere gate.
My boarding place was singhu border which i entered at the time of booking and was also mentioned in the online generated ticket.
I was trying to contact at the booking counter for the bus number and conductor contact number on 13/08/2017 evening but there was no response.
As i am a regular traveller of hrtc so usually i receive a call from the bus conductor that the bus will be arriving at this time at your boarding place but on 13/8/17 there was no call from hrtc
Although i was waiting at my boarding place and waited till 12 am, meanwhile was trying different contact numbers given on hrtc website, called on :[protected],[protected]No response)
Traffic manager :[protected]Invalid number)
I called gm hrtc shimla division but he replied its midnight and he is not able to help me at the time.
Although at 12.5 am himsutta volvo delhi to shimla passed from there i with my family members followed the bus and then asked the driver then he replied that the bus is not the same that was the bus which started at 11.00 pm from isbt kashmere gate, then he mentioned that there is hrtc white color bus and the bus is at sheesh mahal restaurant murthal, u have car u can catch the bus from there we don't have seats empty with us,
Then we reached at sheesh mahal and the bus was there we asked them about the scenario and showed them the ticket then the conductor mr rajeev mentioned thet due to some reasons the volvo bus was cancelled and this bus white color new ac bus is coming in place of that bus and he mentioned that he is not having any list of passangers with him and the passengers who hv booked for this there remaning fare was refunded at the booking counter at kashmere gate isbt and the booking counter staff didn't given any information about my reservation to the conductor.

Although the conductor mr rajeev was very kind he understood my problem, he called someone of his senior and i was able to board the bus that time, and in the morning mr rajeev (Conductor) refunded me ₹210/- and i have given him a written receiving of the same on a paper.

During this incident my family members suffered a lot that they had to come near about 20 kilometers one side for catching the bus at midnight. We all were very tensed and helpless.

Throughout this incident i only want the hrtc should take action against the booking office delhi isbt staff-
1. For not informing the conductor about my booking.
2. For not informing me as a passenger about the bus shuffling and the refund process although the have all details with them i. E, passanger's contact no. Seat no. Ticket no. And boarding place.
3. For presenting wrong contact details at hrtc website which are always not working or invalid or if we call them then they never talk properly talk rudly.

    Hi,

    I am writing this with complete disappointment with the hrtc department that buses are provided but no emergency procedures are in place in case any technical issue happens.

    I am stating the complete incident in detail so that you can understand a bit of the bad experience and right back what actions your department is taking to avoid such nuisance :

    1) boarded ordinary bus (Bilaspur depot, route: sidhpur to delhi) on 15th aug starting point ghumarwin at 7:15 pm (Ticket attached) bus no hp69-4968.

    2) as soon as the bus reached bilaspur, it was only fueled. Bus has not been checked for any technical work on the workshop.

    3) the bus was going smoothly on its way but when it entered in chandigarh city then on every circle (Chowk) in direction of driver side curve there was weird voice was heard on rear excel (Below the seat no 30 as my seat no was 35).

    4) as soon as bus reached chandigarh, i got off the bus and went straight to the driver and complained of that weird sound.

    5) but the driver replied that he knew about it and began to tell that this little issue is inside the shaft and the driver did not descend from his seat nor did he check the bus.

    6) just bus started from chandigarh city to delhi and that weird sound was being heard, but as soon as the bus got on the zirakpur flyover, the sound increased too.

    7) as soon as the bus was running fast on the flyover, after the collision of the tires on the gaps in the flyover, the voice started to be heard horribly and the bus's other passenger began to talk over it.

    8) as soon as the bus reached the toll plaza of ambala (Laldu), i saw from the window that a nut of a rear tyre came out and went to the road. When i saw this, standing on my seat, shouted loudly to stop the bus, then the driver went on one side and just stop the bus.

    9) all the passenger came down from the bus and was surprised to see the last tire, one nuts were missing, and the remaining seven nuts were completely loose. These two tires of the bus could open up to the next two kilometers and could cause a major disaster.

    10) after this, when the driver came down to see the tire, then i realized that i had complained to you on the chandigarh bus stand but you ignored my talk and put lives of 52 passenger at stake.

    11) despite that, the driver did not accept his mistake and started putting all the defects on the technician of the workshop, that he did not tightly tie the tire nuts.

    12) the tire drums of the bus were completely eroded and all the threads of the drum bolts were cleansed. The tires of the bus were not even able to be tight.

    13) now the next biggest problem was how all the passenger reached their destination while the morning was about 2:15am in the morning.

    14) the bus conductor was also not able to suggest any way. He was just giving a false assurance that he was arranging a spare bus.

    15) after this, all the passengers were going on a little bit by doing a lift in hrtc' delhi route running buses of another depot.

    16) when the arrangement of a spare bus was not available, i had to take a standing journey from ambala to delhi in hamirpur depot bus. By then it was 3 o'clock in the morning.

    The question here is :

    1) why the buses are not checked thoroughly before starting the journey?

    2) why department can not arrange alternate buses?

    3) the biggest question is, if the bus becomes an accident and if all the passenger gets dead, then who would have been responsible for that???

    We need answers from your department on the action plan to avoid these issues in future.

    Hoping to get positive result so that no one has to go through this bad experience.

        Hi,
        I m sanjay from banikhet today my sis & her lillte baby his age 02 years they are trevaling banikhet to goli by hrtc bus no. Hp 73 1801 his bus canduter do rudely behave with them they use bad wording when the enter the bus. When she come back from bus his son in bus she out side from bus she ask him please stop the bus my baby there in bus but he didn't stop the bus if the are not do proper work then why they are in job i take illegal actions if your man-agent not tack actions against him

          Dear sir/madam,

          I have booked online ticket no. [protected] route id:654 from hamirpur (Boarding place har) (Hp) to chandigarh for dated 08.08.2017 in super fast ordinary bus o[censored]na depot. I was at boarding place on time. But driver didn't stop the bus. I suffered due to this. I have mailed to department but there is no response from their end. I want refund my amount.

          I have taken bus from solan old bus to kalaghat 3 km far from solan. While giving bus fair conductor did not gavr the ticket but after insisting him he gave the ticket for the next station and charged extra from me.

            Hi,

            I am writing this with complete disappointment with the hrtc department that volvo buses are provided but no emergency procedures are in place in case any technical issue happens.

            I am stating the complete incident in detail so that you can understand a bit of the bad experience and right back what actions your department is taking to avoid such nuisance :

            1) boarded himsuta volvo bus (Bilaspur depot) on 7th aug starting point sarkaghat at 6:15 pm - ticket attached.

            2) as soon as bus got filled with passengers in ghumarwin, it got suffocated in the bus and we got to know ac compressor is not at all working.

            3) driver tried to fix lil bit but was unable to as compressor needed to be changed and it was not available anywhere before delhi. Driver called bilaspur rm and they were aware of the situation.

            4) somehow, bus reached bilaspur around 9 pm and conductor agreed to shift few passengers in another bus who were having major problem. Other 15 passengers included me asked them to continue with the journey as we were ok with ac fan working - no alternate bus was arranged till then.

            5) then there was some discussion in bilaspur bus stand office and we were told by officials that this bus will not move further as the bus is not safe and we need to shift to ordinary bus. It was total nonsense as ac has no link with bus engine and forcing the passengers to go in ordinary bus is not acceptable.

            6) even when we moved to the ordinary bus, passengers having contacts and who were making noise were shifted to another volvo (Manali-delhi) and semi-delux bus that arrived at bilaspur around 40-45 minutes later. Where we expect that everyone should be treated equally in such cases.

            7) after waiting for another 30 minutes for ordinary bus to move, we had to talk to someone there and after asking we were told that if we are comfortable to go in same volvo with ac fan, they will send us in that.

            8) it was another nonsense talk as before 30 minutes the volvo bus was not safe and now they were ready to send left out passengers in same bus.
            Did not understand if some kind of confusion was there or the department was totally incapable of handling the situation.

            9) bus left around 10:30 pm from bilaspur and reached delhi around 6:25 am next morning (8th aug).

            The question here is :

            Why the buses are not checked thoroughly before starting the journey?
            Why department can not arrange alternate buses?
            Why the bus parts are not available at on route workstations?
            Is sorry enough for the inconvenience caused to so many passengers with no actions taken?

            Its not about only me/girls travelling alone at night trusting the hrtc department for safe journey but this is not the first time anything like this happened.

            We need answers from your department on the action plan to avoid these issues in future.
            Hoping to get positive result so that no one has to go through this bad experience.

              Dear hrtc
              I am writing this mail with a extremely bad experience which i had on 6th august while travelling from palampur to delhi by 5.15 pm volvo originating from baijnath depot. I have seen the buses stop ata a particular hotel in the name of hotel himalaya run by a owner mr. Pappi who is extremely rude and illmannered. This is not the first time i have encounterd this guy, its a rotine incident. I also learnt from one of my fellow passengers that he also faced the same and reported the same to you guys but still the buses are stopping there to bear this mr. Pappi ji s wrath. He refuses to pay changes, charges exorbitantly and on being asked uses abusive language. I will wait for your answer on the steps you are taking to stop this nuisance and decide further becoz this not acceptable from a goverment agency. I am enclosing my ticket with this mail. There a re so many hotels why to stop all volvos there?

                For whom it may concern actually yesterday i was travelling from chandigarh to sujanpur i am from chandigarh and been living there for the past 17 yrs so this is not the first time i am travelling alone yesterday when i bought the tickets for the bus the conductor asked me to wait for the bus as the bus hasn't arrived so wait there he said so i waited there and it was half and hour but the bus didn't arrived so i asked the conducter who issued me the tickets and he very rudely said the bus had already left i still have the ticket it was not only me but 1 family and an old man who was told the wrong place to stand by the conductor i don't know who he was but please register my complaint cause how can he just provide false info to us and how is he even a conductor if i don't know how to talk to passengers he was a shirt fatty guy i took the tickets for 6693 bus number and it left from chandigarh to sujanpur its not about the money it's about the inconvenience

                  I had booked hrtc volvo from Mandi to Delhi, I have waited for 3-4hrs for bus, but bus didnt reach in Mandi. Even i have called Rm kullu for the same, I have dropped several mails to the concern people(RM Kullu, DM Mandi & MD Shimla) for the same purpose and even called several times but didnt receive any response from there end. I want refund of my Ticket.

                    1. I book the ticket online portal of hrtc but there is showing that 19 sheet is window sheet but in real 20 sheet is window sheet. So update your portal with respect to buses because i have lots of problem occurs due to this problem in night because i am a girl sophiya thakur.

                          Sir, I booked three seats on 4/7/2017 in route ID 732 Manali-Chandigarh with ticket no. [protected] for my family but the payment was made twice as on first attempt ticket was not confirmed. As only five seats were available accordingly I tried 2nd time and this time ticket confirmed but amount deducted twice ie Rs 2248 were deducted twice. It is therefore requested that my payment of Rs 2248 which was deducted twice from my account be refunded.
                          I shall be thankful to you for this act

                            Hi team,
                            Just wanted to pay your attention towards the bus drivers behaviour for the passengers who get boarded on the way stoppage.
                            As per the driver/conductor they are not allowed to sit in the between stoppages in very weired tone.
                            We are not traveling without fare even paying full fare from source location. How could somebody reach to source station in very early morning when not sufficient public transport.
                            Please take suitable action and clear picture. Most important to passenger n driver behaviour. Here i am narrating the incidence of hrtc hamirpur to chandigarh @5:20 am.

                              Sir, i heena sharma, traveled from chandigarh to mandi, on himsuta volvo (8:30 p. M), on that bus conductor misbehave with 2 men from village and they are not able to read their tickets and they entered on bus by mistake as they have got tickets of ordinary bus and conductor misbehaved with them and those people felt ashamed of themselves. Sir kindly take an strict action against that conductor.

                                  Dear sir,
                                  I would like to inform you that i booked three ticket (Savita, desh raj, akshat) on 23|06/2017 by online nagni to delhi through himsuta bus but my transaction done under the ref.. Number 66078 (21:02:05) of 4014 rs from yes bank account no. [protected] but while my ticket confirmation on processed it shows decline & deducted 4014 rs. From my yes bank account. But today 22th july means one month passed away still my money not refunded sir kindly look into this matter and do the need full.

                                    Today While I was traveling from Sunder Nager to Baramna Mr.Vikash Thakur who was conductor in the bus I have given him Rs.40/- for ticket and I shown him yellow Card No.0074301 issued by your Mandi on dated 10/02/2015 upto 09/02/2020. But he ignored the card and given me ticket of Rs.37/- and balance of Rs3/-forfeited by bus conductor. The benefit of yellow card 20% not given by the conductor and balance also forfeited, total Rs.11/- loss to me with misbehaved by conductor and bus was stopped on the main station. Therefore one person who prefer to travel with your Buses by obtaining Yellow, Green, Smart and silver card for this mental tension.

                                      Sir, i travelled on hp53a 1969 hrtc bus from palampur to chandigarh on 02 july 2017. On the way the tyre of bus got punctured two times and our bus got delayed by 02 hours. As i was getting late for my office job on 03 july morning. At around 4 am i requested conductor and driver to drop me at chandigarh airport chowk which would assist me to reach my office early. The conductor asked me to take another ticket. Even i explained him that airport chowk location is in chandigarg itself and i have already taken bus ticket from dheera to chandigarh. But he didn't listened to me and made my ticket from chandigarh to zirakpur. When i visualise the ticket, i questioned him that why he is making my ticket upto zirakpur since zirkpur is at 4.4 km distance from airport chowk and i have to leave the bus at airport chowk chandigarh. I requested him to make my ticket upto airport chowk only. But he denied straight way and told me that you have to travel on the chandigarh - zirakpur ticket, even you are leaving the bus at chandigarh airport chowk. The fare for this ticket was rs 15/-. But when i went into debate with conductor in between he told me to pay rs 10/- only. But i denied to pay rs 10/- also and asked him to give me accurate ticket, then i would pay the same amount which would be printed on the ticket. On listening this conductor asked driver to drop me in-between of my journey and blew the whistle. The driver stopped the bus and drop me at sector 20-c chandigarh. I hired auto from there to reach my destination at 4 am on 03 july 2017.
                                      Sir i want to know whether these hrtc buses are govt. Properties or individual's properties of drivers and conductors. They are working as per their own wishes and not as per rules and regulations.
