i was travelling from Delhi to sarkhaghat the bus was stopped at a dhaba named vasnu bhada before Chandigarh the food thr was pathertic and highly overcharge for example i had aloo ghobi with four small dry chapati and 90 rupees were taken from me i witnessed the dhaba owner giving a small bottle of whiskey and some money the food was over priced by 50% pathetic

    Hi,
    This is Rajnish Kumar Sharma from Teh. Jawalaji. My wife is working as a lecturer in Paisa school and she used to go by HRTC Dehra Depo bus from Dehra route from Dehra to Broh.It is going to be more then 5 years she used to go by this bus but during this time the bus never come on time and she then hire private vehicle which cost a lot. Bus for same route is at 7:30am from Dehra which is too earlier to reach the destination.On asking the officers at HRTC office Dehra the bus timings is 8:40am from Dehra.We already verbally complaint regarding the bus timing but still no action is being taken.Its requested to please aware the officers regarding the time value and value of general people time so that they can reach destination on time.

      My complaint is about the misbehaving with my family persons.. It was a date of 5th december when
      We were coming from karnal to kangra... We were looking fr a good dhahba fr our lunch...
      (We were staying (At radhika complex dhaba... Hrtc approved at nandpur) we ordered tea... Bt when my uncle were going to pay the bill of 25 tea cups... Bt the owner
      Told him to pay 250 rs... When we told him fr the bill details.
      He denied and charging 10 rupees of
      1 tea cup... We paid the amount bt that dhaba guys misbehaving and arguing with us...
      Please look into the matter...
      Or
      Atleast decide a list of food products... Beacause they are over charge on their products...
      At least make some quality food..

        i was traveling from D.A.V. Bharoli to the post office of nadaun in bus no. HP 55 7535.... n i was charged rs. 2.... n we were 3 frnz .. so total charges were 6 ... but the conductor took rs 10.. n the balance was not returned .. when i asked that conductor .. that why had u not returned our money .. then he started misbehaving.. so plz i request u .. to take strict actions against that conductor ... ... these kind of conductors should not be given the duty of conductor who dont know the rules of democratic country.... thank u ....

        I think there is nobody to read these complaints and take action against these conductors and Drivers. I was about to write a complaint but after reading all this I think all are taking benefits of Govt. job.

          Complainant is working in baddi and is frequently travelling between baddi and chandigarh on weekends. On the morning of 25 october 2011 i was travelling between baddi and chandigarh via HRTC bus no. HP-12C -8807. ticket number 00036403.the ticket was made between khera to chandigarh as i was travelling from baddi. the total cost of fare between baddi and chandigarh is Rs 40/- and the ticket was made of the amount Rs 49/-. As i was letting my doubts clear about the ticket the condustor said that on the occasion of deepawali its a special service and the service should be charged Rs 49/- as ordered by the Regional Manager of HRTC nalagarh unit .to further let my doubts cleared i went to the enquiry counter on the ISBT chandigarh. from there i got the mobile number of the Regional Manager ( Nalagarh Unit ). when contacted to the official he said that there must be a fault in ticket machine . As i am not satisfied with the answer given by the official and the service provided because of overcharging i request to take further action to make travelling smoother for the common man

            i am daily passenger of HRTC Nalagarh Division. i am traveling daily from nalagath to chandigarh in Valvo AC ( Route Nalagarh to Shimla via chandigarh Departure time is 7 AM ) The HRTC Staff member is also up down daily in Volvo AC bus without Ticket their name is Laxman das Manohar singh Shadi lal and Garib das
            Although in Ac buses HRTC Staff ticket is compulsory but they people never take ticket.

            This bus is always full even the passenger is travel daily in standing position but your HRTC staff which is without ticket is on seats and who are paying bus fair are standing
            Please take some urgent steps ASAP because these perople like Laxman das are some time in evening time he is drunk badly and argue with Bus Driver and conductor he complitly miss use his position. he has no manner that how to talk with other people. That why the HRTC is always in Loss in every years
            Please I requested please take urgent steps against these people

            I would like to draw your kind attention to the behavior done by conductor & driver both. The bus no. is HP-69-0598. The route of bus is from Delhi to Sarkaghat (Sidhpur) the bus has been moved from Delhi ISBT around 8:15 PM on Friday dated 15/03/2013 and reached at Chandīgarh bus stand around at 2:02 AM. They have taken 10 to 15 min for purchase of soap on the way. But they haven’t a time to stop the bus at bus stand to 2 to 5 mints. Because I get down the bus for water at Chandigarh but when I came back to the bus counter within 2 to 5 minutes the bus has been moved. After that I get in touch with HRTC counter at Chandigarh they given me the number of HRTC Bilaspur office[protected], but nobody pick the phone there. I reached Bilaspur at 6:30 am by another bus, and no information given by the bus conductor at counter place about my lagauge before reached me, because my lagauge was in the bus. So that I want to know from your side who is responsible for that kind of incidents, if we so I am satisfy if your employee so treat as these kinds of things on seriously.

              i want to say that i booked a ticket of hrtc bus online for 5 oct 2011 from shimla to joginder nagar of
              9:00pm iam charged rs. 231 from my pnb bank debit card, after that on 4 oct 2011 i cancelling my ticket at the time of cancelling web site shows me that they will refund me 169 rs then i canceled my ticket it show 169 rs refunded but i dont get money back. Please help me.

              I have book ticker from delhi to jawalaji in an ordinary bus and cancel the ticker after few mintues rs.889 deducted from my debit card but still i did not get my money back. what I have to do for this,
              Its Subangini.. I cancelled the tickets on April 6th but haven't received the respective amount back. Kindly take an initiative to refund the money back.

              I booked 3 volvo ticket solan to delhi isbt 10.30 pm reporting time with seat no. 5, 6, 8 on 19/4/2017 & cancelled on 21/4/2017 and was told by Hrtc that refund of 821 rupees will be credited but no money money has been credited so far...pls help

                Hi Sir/Mam,

                My name is manoj kapoor. I am very disappointed with HRTC administration system. There are no rules for bus drivers where they will stop the bus for breakfast lunch or dinner. They stop bus by their own heart. They never ask the passengers where to stop or not. They eat in the separate rooms of the DHABA's. Why they never eat with passengers bcoz they have aggrement with the dhaba owners. We will stop the bus at your DHABA and will eat special meal for free of cost.Even they took comission from them. The biggest problem is DHABA owners demand the big amount for the meal from passengers. Every Dhaba has his own rules. There is no fix amount for the meal..why? This is the corruption. Rich people's dont know how much is the cost of onion /kg. Only poor peoples know. Today poor people's are becoming more poor and rich are becoming more rich. Everywhere is corruption. You are not running the nation. you are running the nation like a cart. You are moving the cart according to your heart desire. I am not a poor person. I am working in IT company i can afford it, but many times I saw poor people's ask the meal price and go back to the bus seat without just after hearing the price of meal. The poor people's bcoz of them you are daily filling your stomach with delicious foods are traveling hungry. I also know this complaint doesn't matter for you becoz our country is not an country it's hell where only the thing you need is access to leaders to getting work done.I don't proud to be an Indian and no one can proud to be Indian until our system cant be corruption free. If you can took any step then i'll appreciate it, not only i'll but all the people's. I have lot of other complaint's. I'll post one after one.

                while travelling to delhi to mandi bus stopped at a very unhygienic dhaba before chandigarh named vashno dhaba and i was charged 90 rupees for aloo ghobi and 4 roti thats pure corruption

                  I would like to draw your kind attention to the misbehaviour done by conductor & driver both.The bus no. is HP-63-3273.The route is from Malyana to Bus stand Shimla & timing from Malyana is around 9:00 am.

                  Conductor does'nt behave well with the passangers & sometime he also does'nt give tickets to passangers & driver also does'nt stop the bus at some stopage & when they asked to they keep on arguing like they have been working for 25-26 years in the same professions so they know very well that where they have to stop the bus.

                  Kindly look in to the matter seriously & take the necessary steps ASAP.

                    ON 24th june 2011 , I [ ANIRUDH KAUSHAL] was travelling from chandigarh to una. I reached bus stand [isbt] sec-43 at about 2:45 pm. A bus from pathankot depot [hrtc] was standing over there. The seats were being booked. I also bought one ticket and enquired about the time of departure of bus and at that time the booking clerk rudely refused to disclose the time of departure. and the bus ultimately started at 3:50 pm . the passengers were made to wait in the bus in the scorching heat for about 55 mins. More over same seat no. were alloted to many passengers. there after the bus stoped at a filthy dhabha 3 km before kirat pur sahib . The dhaba wala was fleecing the passengers. A softdrink bottle costing Rs 22 was being sold at Rs30. The workers of dhaba were extremly rude.                       There is no proper facility of government local bus from kalka to parwanoo sec 6.
                      all the employees have to face big problem in kalka. there are 3 local buses but only one is available.. all the three buses have same time i.e. 08:25 & there is no bus facility after that.. pls take the matter seriously and take some action as early as u can.

                        Bus route Kangra Rohru timing 4.30 is not running properly and not punctual wef. this month May16 & May30, 2011 route missing. Please regularize it other wise cencell the route. A local bus should be run from Jawalamukhi to Hamirpur that should be reach Hamirpur by 6.00 AM.

                          SUB : HARRASMENT DUE TO HRTC NON PROFFESIONAL FUNCTIONING

                          I would like to bring in your notice about the shocking treatment and harassment meted to me on the intervening night of 11th & 12th May 2011 due to non professional and unorganized services of HRTC.

                          Service Class: Himsuta (VOL/ISU)

                          Sex: Male
                          Fare: 668.00

                          As per schedule I was to board the Bus from Solan (Saproon) but since I was little skeptical bout the Bus route and timings, I called up HRTC –Shimla[protected] at different time points on 11/05/2011 as follow

                          9:18 pm: First call to HRTC to enquire and confirm about my seat and my pick up from Solan. HRTC representative told me to board the Bus (Bus No. 1960, Semi deluxe as Volvo was unavailable) at New Bus Stand, Solan-Bypass. The sudden change of Bus (from Volvo to Semi Deluxe) was dissatisfying and non acceptable but then I was not having any option rather then boarding the Semi Deluxe bus which is on time.

                          11: 19 pm: Second call to HRTC Shimla, since bus was supposed to reach Solan around 11:00 pm so I enquired and confirmed the status. I was told that the Bus started off at 10:20 pm from Shimla so I should wait for another 15 -20 minutes. I confirmed the HRTC representative that as per there instructions I m waiting at the Bypass Bus stand. I was told to relax. I asked for the Conductors Phone No but I was told that he doesn’t carry a phone.

                          Between 11:40 pm to 11:53 pm - Many calls were made to HRTC office but the Phone was continuously busy and it added to my further woes.

                          11: 53 pm: Finally HRTC representative get in touch and when I asked the status I was told the bus that time would have crossed Dharampur, making me feel helpless and shocked. Also I was told that if I m traveling for the first time via HRTC as the buses don’t come at New Bus stand Solan (Bypass). There were some heated words exchanged but I was stranded alone and felt defeated.

                          All my plans were shattered. My family and people associated with me when came to know about what happened became furious and so was me. I was heading for a professional loss. Apart from my professional loss, my friends who had come down to drop me off at Bus Stand also faced harassment for another 3 hours as there was no bus service available to Chandigarh or Delhi.


                          02 :05 am (12/05/11) I boarded Chandigarh bound HRTC Rampur Depot ordinary bus, ticket no. 00011792

                          Finally reached Delhi at 11: 00 Am but I was already late and at huge loss. Since I m working in a private sector, timings and meeting are fixed well in advance. Due to your non professionalism my professional loss is non bearable and cannot be written down.


                          The ticket was booked online on 10th May using my Axis Bank Credit Card and all the personal information as desired by you was provided including my personal mobile no., landline no. and even the driving license details. By providing this information I was made to believe that I ll be offered some professional services by your dept but it turned out to be lifetime horrible experience not only to me but also to my elderly parents, my family and friends.

                          I would request you to look into the matter on urgent basis, take appropriate action and revert back with suitable compensation for the harassment and loss suffered by me.

                            Sir,
                            I am lady Govt. Servant and I am posted far away from the main city of Shimla. I have to daily take the 6.05 am bus for ISBT, Shimla so that I can catch the connecting bus to my destination beyond Dhami. But it is regular that the drivers and the Adda Incharge at New Shimla have been requested to ply the bus in time, but almost all days the bus drivers starts the bus at 6.15 am which reaches ISBT quite late, and the daily Baijnath Bus leaving ISBT Shimla at 6.35am is missed, thus forcing the daily computers in a great misery.

                            I would request The GM HRTC to look into the matter and instruct the staff to ply the bus in time so that inconvenience is not caused to the daily compmuters.

                            Hope to habe a favourable response on the matter.

                              respected ones,
                              I am nitika from una want to complaint against MISBEHAVIOUR of a HRTC BUS conductor. I am complaining on my mom's behalf.Today a HRTC conductor, dutied in a bus which is routed from AMRITSAR TO HAMIRPUR (depot HAMIRPUR) timed at approximately (3:45 - 4:00am) and bus no. {HP-67 1607}, misbehaved with my mom unnecessarily at JALANDHAR bus stand at around 5:30am. He didn't allow my mom to enter into that bus without any reason and start using ABUSAL language. He behaved with her very badly. He was totally assuming himself as the owner of the bus and keep on saying that Hey! dn't u dare to enter into my bus.
                              I am really not able to understand his conduct at that time. If he is working in a govt. organization, it doesn't mean that he can do anything what he wants to do. He is nobody to stop any passenger to enter into the bus because govt. has provided this service to common people. Even bus was empty at that time.
                              So my dear respected ones, please look into the whole matter and take a suitable action against him.

                              HRTC — MISBEHAVIOUR DONE BY CONDUCTOR

                              Respected ones,
                              I am nitika from una want to complaint against MISBEHAVIOUR of a HRTC BUS conductor.                               This the duty of concern complain tackler to take necessary against this haramjadey conductor.
                              Dear Sir,

                              My Name is Vishal Sharma & I am working in Block Office, Sarsawa, Distt.Saharanpur
                              I am daily up down from BUS, But today(Date April 22, 2011) the BUS Conductor of HR-49A/5957 miss behave to me, the resion is that I Receive the ticket of Rs 12/- [(Ticket No.541094 of Rs. 9/-, 581484 of Rs.3/-) but he said to me the Sarsawa Passengers are not empowerd of seat while ticket is proper issued & abusing me, this is the insulting manner to me and all pessengers.
                              The question is that the attitude of Bus conductor is correct?
                              Please register my complain & inform to me of complain No. & what action taken in this case by HRTC because after this I am going to RTI in this metter.

                              My name is Maninder Singh & i am a quality Engg.Distt. Solan
                              Taday (25 May 2012) at 7:30am i was on my bus stop, i was going for some urgent work .I saw the HRTC Bus no. HP12B 8530 .i tried to stop it but the was gone .Even my friend is also in the Bus, he told the Conductor to stop the bus, but he did't .Even there is no rush in the bus.

                              So sir,

                              I am requesting you to please stop this kind of Activities of the Concerned person & take the necessary action .

                              Please register my complain & inform to me of complain No. & what action taken in this case by HRTC because after this I am going to RTI in this metter.

                                sir,
                                Iam a married woman and a govt employee. On 05 Sept 2010 i was travelling from jammu to mandi by bus.I completed my journey by J & K state transport bus from jammu to pathankot. I reached pathankot bypass at aprrox 0530pm.I saw a HRTC bus with a board written as Chamba to mandi. I immediately boarded the bus.The bus conductor came to me after 20 min and told me that the bus is going till baijnath. I asked him that the board says chamba to mandi to which he replied that even then this bus will go till baijnath.Further i asked him if there is any other bus that will go to mandi. The conductor said that there is a bus which i can catch at baijnath after sometime.So i continued the journey.Few minutes later,I saw a bus moving towards manali on the road. I told conductor to stop but he insisted that this bus will follow at baijnath. At approx 0845pm bus reached at maranda. At that time there was only me and one more guy in the bus along with driver and conductor.The conductor suggested me to get down at Punjabi dhaba in maranda since i was alone and it was not safe for me to be at baijnath bus stand and secondly this was the place where the bus for mandi would have come down for dinner. I checked with dhaba persons and they also confirmed the same. So,I got down at this place at 0845pm.However the mandi bus which was suppose to reach at 10pm did not turn up till 1030pm. The Dhaba owner called up some number and told me that this particular bus has gone to dharamshala and will reach only by 1130pm.I contacted my relatives in palampur and got down at their residence.But Iam shocked and feeling unsafe to travel by hrtc buses anymore. This route was not known to me. If I didnt have my relatives that time I was actually in big trouble.

                                hrtc buses and conductors are really pathetic..
                                Same bad experience with me (bus no HP 72 0767) chamunda to haridwar

                                Conductor is so rude and drop me in una at 5:30 pm by saying that there is no emply seat in the but although half of the bus is emply

                                he was abusing me and my father eve i am alone and have to go Chandigarh.

                                  I have purchased hrtc ticket from dharamshala to chandigarh on 05 Jul 2010 but unfortunately it was lost by me. When i went to isbt dharamshala and request them to issue them to issue duplicate ticket they refused and compelled me to purchase another ticket. I told them that seat no 30 was allotted to me. Despite repeated requests and reminders i purchased another ticket. After returning from the journey i found my post ticket. Is there any scope for refund? and is it legally in order?

                                  Regarding ticket — duplicate ticket

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  on[protected] i travelled in HRTC bus from Pathgankot to Jawalaji. I bought the ticket from the conductor for 3 passengers. Unfortunately I lost the ticket and i have to take claim from the govt. So you are requested that the duplicate ticket may kindly be issued to me. As I have taken the ticket through the machine of conductor. Plz help me.

                                  i had cancelled my online ticket number [protected] day before yesterday. But still now the amount is not being transfered to my account. Kindly look into the matter.

                                    Tomorrow i was traveling in (H.P. 72 0767) from Chamunda to Haridwar.Firstly conductor ne stop pe bus nahi roki .Jab Mushkil se rukwai then he started misbehaving with me. i was traveling alone and it was around 4:30 p.m. I have to go chandigarh.jab maine usse chd ki ticket mangi to usune kaha k seats nahi he although wahan 12 sears khali thi.maine kaha k seats khali to he then he start saying k meri bus me seats nahi he tum una tak ki le lo ,usse aage chale jana dusri bus le k .maine kha ok or use 100 rps diye to usne kaha 40 do.maine kaha k change nahi he then he start abusing me and my father. he said k puch baitha kro aise ho baith jate ho bap ki bus he kya .pher usne mujh se 100 rps le liye or mujhe 60 rp change usi time apne bag se nikal k di.jab maine use kaha k tum bat kaise kar rhe ho to kehane laga k mera roz ka kam he main aise hi krta hoon.
                                    iske bad mere bad bus me chadne wale usne kam se kam 6-7 persons ko chd k liye tickets with seat no di.He is treating other persons very politely.and made fun of me in all the way.Una se maine dusri bus li ansI was in depression is all my journey becase of him .

                                    Please take any step for such person who dont know how to treat a woman although she is traveling alone and in the evening in such a long route.We should reliese them that these buses are not their personal.

                                    well for such callous attitude on the part of bus conductor and driver, the only thing that a passenger can do is to directly report the matter to the regional manager of that particular depot to which bus belongs. it is actually our ignorance about rules that lead to such incidents. moreover as u said that conductor even after giving you tickets misbehaved with you and forced you to get down at the station which you actually didnt attend make him liable under the law of torts... hrtc is a public transport run by the respective govt. of the state, thus the staff of that bus has to be responsible towards its passengers. i[censored] demand ticket for some particular destination and seats are available then they have to serve you one...even you could have filed a rti to gather information that how many seats were pre booked...

                                      Inspite of Repeated requests made to Regional Manager & Divisional Manager HRTC Hamirpur for updating of Time Table of Bus Routes Displayed at the Bus Stand NADAUN (Hamirpur Distt., which has not been updated since over 10 years.Still the said officials have not got repainted the said time table .RM,HRTC has now demanded a copy of time table from Secretary Regional Transport Authority vide has letter 7586 dated 27.01.2010. Itis matter of regret that RM& DM office of HRTC does not have even the updated copy of Time-Table of Bus Routes,then how their offices monitor such a large fleet of Buses in the state.

                                        I feel very shame to say about our transport buses and system since I belong to this state but everything should have some limit. Iam an advocate and on 21 of December, I boarded in Shimla-Manali, a semi deluxe bus at Shimla (New Tutu)). The conductor charged 140 rupees from me up to Mandi. The condition of the said bus was bad to worst. None of the window of the bus could be open and some of the windows were not having glasses but tin sheets were fixed in the place of glasses. It could be comfortable to travel on a tractor moreover the tourists who were also in the bus all seems to be foolish as me.
                                        The bus stayed at Hara Bag for lunch. The Conductor and driver were attended with the most hospitality but there was no any heed towards passengers. I ordered two aloo paranthas and one cup tea only. After 20 minutes I got one and he also put some pieces of pickle in my plate and after repeated requests I got the other one after 15 minuts.Thereafter I denied for the tea since driver and conductor have been come out and were ready to leave, by the time the fellow said that since you have ordered for tea you have to take it. No problem I had a one sip and conductor has alert the passengers to board in the bus. I in a hurry went on the cash counter and as the bill for two aloo prantha and one cup tea. He demanded 70 rupees from me. I got surprised to hear and asked .how it is. He replied 25 each for paranthas 10 for tea and 10 for pickle.. I used to go many restaurants/hotels but it was too much as per quality/quantity and service..I asked from him for a bill..He denied and said " yahan hahi rate hein, sasta chahiye to kahin aur jaya karo..He was right because that was the only bloody dhaba there and this trade unfair trade and practice are being used in connivance with the driver/conductor, management and our respected Ministers who never care after they succeed in Elections. I hope from this forum that the said bus should not be stayed their in future in the public interest. I could not remembered the dhaba's name but the said semi deluxe (green colored) lowest class bus, route Shimla to Manali departure about 8 o' clock morning from shimla used to stay their for lunch. I hope that some honest and wise person may take action against the said dhaba owner as well as the bus staff and such type of practice should for the betterment of public and their undue harassment..I may go to the consumer forum for compensation, but I thing all are not Advocates and they are here just for enjoyment at Himachal.

                                        I feel very shame to say that the taxi service chakkar to c.t.o the taxi driver Mr.suresh did not give the ticket and recieve fifteen rupees and he all the day doing this type of irregular scences.many passenger dialy goes without ticket and he recieve ten rupees, and he all the day doing this kind of shameful work.I hope that you take action against him niether your taxi service is going to fail in future.
