I feel very shame to say about our transport buses and system since I belong to this state but everything should have some limit. Iam an advocate and on 21 of December, I boarded in Shimla-Manali, a semi deluxe bus at Shimla (New Tutu)). The conductor charged 140 rupees from me up to Mandi. The condition of the said bus was bad to worst. None of the window of the bus could be open and some of the windows were not having glasses but tin sheets were fixed in the place of glasses. It could be comfortable to travel on a tractor moreover the tourists who were also in the bus all seems to be foolish as me.
The bus stayed at Hara Bag for lunch. The Conductor and driver were attended with the most hospitality but there was no any heed towards passengers. I ordered two aloo paranthas and one cup tea only. After 20 minutes I got one and he also put some pieces of pickle in my plate and after repeated requests I got the other one after 15 minuts.Thereafter I denied for the tea since driver and conductor have been come out and were ready to leave, by the time the fellow said that since you have ordered for tea you have to take it. No problem I had a one sip and conductor has alert the passengers to board in the bus. I in a hurry went on the cash counter and as the bill for two aloo prantha and one cup tea. He demanded 70 rupees from me. I got surprised to hear and asked .how it is. He replied 25 each for paranthas 10 for tea and 10 for pickle.. I used to go many restaurants/hotels but it was too much as per quality/quantity and service..I asked from him for a bill..He denied and said " yahan hahi rate hein, sasta chahiye to kahin aur jaya karo..He was right because that was the only bloody dhaba there and this trade unfair trade and practice are being used in connivance with the driver/conductor, management and our respected Ministers who never care after they succeed in Elections. I hope from this forum that the said bus should not be stayed their in future in the public interest. I could not remembered the dhaba's name but the said semi deluxe (green colored) lowest class bus, route Shimla to Manali departure about 8 o' clock morning from shimla used to stay their for lunch. I hope that some honest and wise person may take action against the said dhaba owner as well as the bus staff and such type of practice should for the betterment of public and their undue harassment..I may go to the consumer forum for compensation, but I thing all are not Advocates and they are here just for enjoyment at Himachal.

Respected sir
I feel very shame to say that the taxi service chakkar to c.t.o the taxi driver Mr.suresh did not give the ticket and recieve fifteen rupees and he all the day doing this type of irregular scences.many passenger dialy goes without ticket and he recieve ten rupees, and he all the day doing this kind of shameful work.I hope that you take action against him niether your taxi service is going to fail in future.

    RESPECTED SIR,
    I WOULD LIKE TO BRING IN YOU KIND NOTICE THAT I AM SERVING IN POLICE DEPARTMENT AND LAW BINDING PERSON.WHEN WE HAVE TO TRAVEL IN HRTC BUS FROM ONE STATION TO ANOTHER THEN THERE IS NO PROVISION OF BOOKING IN YOUR SOFTWARE PROVIDED BY YOUR DEPARTMENT EXISTING ON YOUR HRTC BOOKING COUNTERS COMPUTERS
    MAXIMUM TIME WHEN WE REQUEST TO BOOKING CLERK TO BOOK THE SEAT HE REFUSE TO BOOK THE SEAT BY SAYING THAT THERE IS NO PROVISION OF BOOKING WITHOUT PAYING FULL CHARGES.SOMETIME WE HAVE TO WAIT TILL THE DEPARTURE OF BUS AND IF SOMEONE COMES EVEN AFTER US, HE OCCUPIES THE SEAT AND WE REMAIN STANDING DUE TO NONE PROVIDING FACILITY OF ADVANCE BOOKING.
    I THINK IT IS A GREAT INSULT TO THE PERSON WHO ARE LAW BINDING AND CAN NOT RAISE THEIR VOICE LOUD.I ASSURE THAT YOU WILL TAKE IT SERIOUSLY TO PROVIDE NECESSARY RESPECT TO THE PERSON WHO WANT TO LIVE WITHIN LAW.

      dear sir,
      i m a student and doing study in chandigarh. There is no bus service directly from paonta sahib to chandigarh at 4:00 am. Sometimes i m face several problems to reach our colleage in time,so attention my complaint & get start a bus service from paonta sahib to chd. at 4:00 am.

        Respected sir,

        My mother was traveling on 2nd november in your delhi to baijnath bus (Night bus). She took her ticket from chandigarh as she was not able to took from delhi because of her delay and she caught the same bus from chandigarh. On that same bus she lost her bag and when she tried to stop the bus on that moment the conductor of that bus mr subash didn't took that matter so serious and both the conductor and bus driver didn't stop the bus on that moment she asked them for the help but they didnt stopped the bus. Some valuable things were their in the bag (Money, jewellery, kisan vikas patra and cloths etc).

        After that i tried to find it but it was vain. Therefore you are requested to take strict action against mischief of that conductor,
        And suggest whole the conductor of hrtc to co-oprate with all the passanger in the future and suggest them not to stop the bus at midnight in case pick up or drop any passenger than your lights should be switched on so that they can look after their luggage.

        Because mr subash dropped a passenger during that mid night from the last window of the bus and on that moment my mother realized that her bag was not their and she suggested the conductor to stop the bus but he didn't stop the bus and said they cant stop the bus.

        This is to inform you that i m just looking your hrtc bus services from delhi to deothsidh it may shahtalai but there is no any hrtc bus's from delhi to deothsidh, and i would like to trevelling with the help of hrtc so please advice me how to get your best service's

        why complaint not goes in and Phone no for regionnal manager of Bainnath depot is wrong
        It has been in practaics that hrtc from baijnath operating buses to delhi and chandigarh rout are not give correct and right servises to passager thoes who are travelling, this is usaly paractics that buses are dirty and dirty seats, window not close properly, buses have not one to look bagage and lugage on orin the bus, buse wiper not working, in case of falt tyre they have no extra tyre to replace and give trouble to passanger condouctor have no complain book if ask,
        Most of buses are driven from nagal to delhi by condouctor or some driver friends which is life risk by driver to passangers,
        Buses stop at amb area for break and food, buse left by driver of hrtc and buses are parked by ' dhaba' worker thoes who no linces bad food and driks to serve
        Same routne from hrtc driver stoping between ambala and karnal bad place for food and drinks.
        Busses driven very fast reache home earlier or destination.
        Non of manager look on that,
        Plaease look on
        Passanger in trouble
        Buses in bad condatation roof leaking whie raining,
        Same prartic with dharmashal depot as well, palampur depot as well

        Last friday i take bus(Baijnath Depot) from gurgaon to karnal first staff is not ready to take me till karnal when i request more than 20 times than he take me and my mother( senior Citizen 63 Years old suffring from gangrin). our journy starts @ 18.00 hrs than we stuck around 3 hours in jam (delhi). than we move ahead they took his son and his friend and engage with gossips. when karnal come( around 12.20 am) i request please drop us ITI chowk Conductor replyed me " Mai kuch ni kar sakta driver say baat karo, than i speak and request to driver bhaiya my mother is old and winter season is going on please drop us ITI chowk down to flyover because distance between exit and iti chowk is around 1.25 kms. two drop us on the cut @ 12.30am premature around 6 degree . Me and my mother is not well suffer from cold and chest infection. driver replyed me " nai hum niche say nai ja saktay hum late ho jaingay" illitrate people when u stck in jam than u didnt late when you blow your BIDI in the bus than no risk to passengers!!!

        only one question to HRTC this bus service for public???

          The complaint is for dated 31/10/2009 regarding the manhandelling & misbehaviour by the conductor of HRTC-Hamirpur Ludhiana to Sujanpur via Nadaun(Night Service).
          Firstly the booking conductor booked all the said bus when a bus schedule to depart for Dharmsala at counter by 9:50pm. Actual time for the same bus is 10:30pm.
          The tyre of bus punctured after crossing Jalandhar byepass at Ludhiana. The tyre was again punctured after crossing Hoshiarpur. The driver drive the bus upto Nehrian stop.

          Now I, Arun Dogra, resident of Kaloha distt. Kangra asked the conductor to sign the ticket so that I can tried for other buses. Meanwhile one more person named RAKESH KUMAR also asked for the same. The conductor replied "Chalo acha hua kuch to weight kam hoga bus se, acha hai ye 5:00am tak yahi fase rahe". I was very surprised with his reply & go to conductor who taked tea at that time that, why he replied this to me & Rakesh Kumar. Meanwhile the situation was going to burst & suddenly Conductor SUSHIL KUMAR slab Rakesh Kumar hardly & told him that "TUJHE TO AAG KI BHATTI ME JALLA DUNGA" He continously showed his DADAGIRI in that DHABA & his brother who was also in the bus start hitting hard to RAKESH KUMAR. The conductor hit rod on the head of Rakesh kumar which reults heavy bleeding.
          Now I called Police station Amb & they told me that Rakesh Kumar has to come Amb firstly as they will give him FIRST AID as well as got Medical Certificate from Medical Officer, then they can proceed. But it was 3:00am & there was no bus & no vehicle there & Rakesh Kumar decide to continue the journey.
          During this one person come to me & ask that why are you not calling any HRTC authority, but we were helpless that we have no contact No with us. The gentleman help us & provide one cell No.[protected]. I called the authority & update him about the behaviour of his staff, The authority asked us to give phone to Conductor & talk to him as well as Driver. After this conversation the conductor of bus again show us DADAGIRI & ask Rakesh Kumar that come to Sujanpur I will break your joints.

          NOW I would like to ask dear AUTHORITIES as well as TRANSPORT MINISTER that such kind of services they provided to the public. As when I remember the same night I cant sleep for many hours.

          I request you to take a strict action against the said conductor which perhaps may inculate a sense of responsibility to his job in him in the future.

          Hope this matter will be treated urgently and suitable action will taken against the guilty bus conductor.

          I agreed to above said. Earlier I was feeling to be proud while traveling in HRTC but now these days situation is different. The same incedent happene on[protected] Hamirpur Delhi Via Dhaneta Bus Service. When the Bus get in trouble near by Ambala, there also conductors behaviour was something like that. He was very rude and ir-responsilbe during bus offtime.

          I would like measure the authorties that HRTC is the life line of our state and please make it lifeline only.

          It is ok sometime machinery gets fail due to some unwanted reasons but please behave like human as they are also humans.

            dear sir,

            I want to drag your kind attention toward slow bus service provided by a HRTC bus.

            Bus from Nahan to Sarahan having departure time is 5:30pm from Nahan is slow. It is the last bus for Sarahan. Its arriving time is 7pm. the distance between two station is just 38km. But now a days it takes 2 hrs. people have to go their home which is 3 to 4 km from the bus stop and there is no light, total forest area . In the winter day is off near about 5:30. It is most difficult to travel on foot in a cold and dark night.

            Same case is with the morning, same bus go from Sarahan to Nahan, it reach aprox. 9:15 to Nahan. 15min. late from its defined time. Certainly people suffer because they are not able to take bus further from Nahan at time.
            As I hope you will take the appropriate action regarding my complain.

              After kufri bus accident govt. said strict rules will be followed, but stereos are not only being used in pvt. buses but also in HRTC buses.eg. in bus no. HP-63-0132, rampur region, route kalpa-chandigarh, dt.28/01/09.

              This is to bring to your kind notice that I Nitin Sharma has done an online booking on 24th May for Shimla - Gurgaon TATA AC bus. I was alloted seat No 12. I booked this ticket from Shimla to Gurgaon but I had to board the bus from Solan. I Called up the helpline number at around 4 O, clock on 24th and told them that although my booking is from Shimla but I would board the bus from Solan and asked them if that is possible or should I come to Shimla so they told me that they would inform the conductor about the same and there is no need to come to Shimla, but again to make sure I called up on the same helpline number at 7:30 and the person out there said that he has informed the conductor and also told me that the TATA A/c Bus will not come as it is down so instead Semi Deluxe No 1960 would be coming and the extra bus fare would be refunded.I was asked to be at bus Stand Solan at around 9 O Clock however I reached Solan Bus stand at 8:45 same day and I waited till 10:30 and there was no Bus and I kept on calling the helpline number during that time but all i was told was that the bus has left and it might be late but finally at 10:30 the Volvo Bus to Delhi arrived and teh conductor told me that the Gurgaon bus has already left. I called up teh helpline number again and had a word with Mr Kanwar who told me that the bus might have gone through the Bye Pass bus stand and all that he can do for me is to cancel the ticket. I had no choice so I asked him to cancel the ticket and I had to go back home. I had to reach Gurgaon so i had to leave next day early morning so I did not have time to get the amount refunded and so now that 520 Rs Bus fare is gone and there is nothing I can do about, Its not a matter of money that i wasted but thie is note expected from a reputed transport like HRTC.

              I would request you to blease take this mail to notice and act accordingly so that passengers have faith on HRTC. I m looking forward for an acknowledgement of the mail from your side.

              On 26th September, I K.C. Thakur Boarded Bus No. 51-1818 (Pvt.) from Shimla to Solan which was to start at 7:00 am, but left Shimla Bus Stop five minutes late and reached T.C.P. crossing round about 7:10 am and stopped there. After ten minutes I requested the driver to start off but in response the driver rudely replied that if I have a problem I should get down from the bus and started playing loud music. The bus started off from that point after 15-20 minutes and while driving, the driver was also talking over his cell phone.
              I want to complain to the department that this kind of negligence can lead to serious accidents and request your goodself to take action against such driver so that this kind of negligence is not committed in future.

              HRTC — Refund not received yet

              I have booked an E-ticket from Delhi ISBT Kashmere gate to Nagrota bagwan for 12/11/2012 but due to some personal problems I cancelled it on 28/10/2012.I received an email from HRTC that the ticket has been cancelled but they didn't refund me the money.Please Help
