Hi

I had subscribed to Hindustan TImes News Paper vide "Form No: 102615" for one year. Subscription was in the form of monthly coupons to be given to news paper vendor on monthly basis. I have not received coupons tiil date though it has been more than three months since I paid subscription amount of Rs.195. I have called up the customer care on 67764242 so many times. The response from customer care was highly irr-responsible and negligent. They have given me three contact no. of the area managers

But non of them has provided any kind of help. They are saying that the coupons have been despatched to the newspaper vendor directly. But my vendor has not received any coupons. I have been paying the vendor separately for last three months. I had to incurr a loss on the differential amount we paid to Hindustan times and what actually the news paper costs. So I request you to kindly intervene and help me getting my coupons.

I would like to renew my subscription ( Ref. NO. R-168045).Please3send me the coupons and the amounts to be paid.

My customer account no. is 158561 and the subscription renewal cheque was given to vender in AUGUST '08 .Old subscription was upto OCTOBER '08.
One agent Mr Rajesh Sharma having excutive code T1X[protected] visited me yesterday INFORMING ME that the News paper vendor Mr Devi prasad Yadav phone no [protected] has not deposited my cheque in time and I will have to pay actual paper rate till some time a new scheme is introduced .
This will force me to look for stopping the paper and switch to TIMES OF INDIA, our old paper.

I have won a case against VLCC for misguiding & cheating me. Somebody by the name Kapil Dutta, identifying himself as a Hindustan Times correspondent got in touch with me & took the details of my case. He promised me that the write up will appear in HT's Metro section soon, as it is a landmark judgement and will provide a guiding force to many customers who have been taken for a ride by VLCC.

Its almost 3 weeks now, & nothing has come up in the newspaper so far.When I called up Kapil Dutta I did not get any convincing answers from him for not publishing my case. I am afraid, this person has been bribed by VLCC for not publishing it in the paper.

I urge the Hindustan Times authorities to investigate the matter & inform me about the outcome.

Request for help me to lodge compliant against HINDUSTAN TIMES.
As i have booked subscription for HINDUSTAN TIMES under scheme RS. 195 for 2 YEARS on dated[protected]form no. 266882). But till now I have not received any coupon, booklet, which was suppose to deliver at my postal address, with in 21 working days.
I regularly calling HINDUSTAN TIMES executive (Namarata Palonkar) Exeecutive code S3 x 63 contact no. [protected], but no use of calling.
Answers are same ….. (This week they are sending booklet).

I did not receive a single copy since[protected]almost 7 months). This is not a part of money (195-) but HINDUSTAN TIMES is just fooling me and other people too.
As per news paper vendor, many people comes with same compliant.
News paper vendor (Vakola Santacruz) have no answer.

Not receiving H T Paper since one month.

I have subscribed for Hindustan Times on 14th June, 2014 for the term 2 years. I am not receiving Hindustan Times since one month. I want the money to be refunded back. The vendor is Kailash.

Hindustan Times — Regarding non delivery of newspaper

I have 2 years subscription of Hindustan Times daily news paper from october 2007 till october 2009.But my vendor stopped delivering paper stating that your scheme is over.I am clueless as the only evidence i have is the cheque number.Please help me.

1..I contacted Mr Govind about the yearly subscription on his mobile no [protected] few days back. He told me that he would collect the cheque of Rs 199/- from my residence. On his advice I prepared the cheque & kept at home so that whenever he visits he would collect the cheque. I also sent my addresss by SMS. When he did not come to collect the cheque, I again reminded him.

2. Today on 14 Dec at 07 48, I again tried to contact him on his mobile. After getting the ring, he realised that it was my phone, he immediately shut the mobile. Again, I rang him from the other mobile, after answering him, he realised that it was my phone. he immediately shut the phone.

3. After this incidence & seeing the number of complaints from the customers, Now I knew the reputation of Hindustan Times & why the circulation has suffered while others have taken over. In case you do not meet the consumer's requirement, atleast advise persons like Govind not to make fool of others. Or fire him from the job so that he does not allow your image to tarnish.

Hindustan Times — Non delivery of Subscription Coupons

I have subscribed to 1 year subscription of Hindustan Times Newspaper on 18/12/2009 by paying Rs. 199 / - by Cheque. The cheque has been cleared on 16/12/2010 as per my bank statement.

1stly it doesn't matter, wether my reply is a positive one or not, what does matter, is what u can do about it.

We to have gone thru the same ordeal where we had already paied Lab fees and ..etc fees ( don't remember the exact amount ), they took lab fees and 3000rs per year as Development Fees, which i must ad that there were no signs of any development at all.

During my Final Year they had set up a new Scheme of Extracting money from Students which was labeled as * Alumni Fund * each student was asked to pay about 2500rs, into the fund.

and only Final Year students were asked to pay

they claimed that they were going to help an Underprivileged Student and give him scholarship from the Fund Collected.
everyone had to payup, or they wern't issuing *hall tickets*
ppl resisted but eventually gave in, as the teachers were in control of the *project marks *

From my Batch 2 Groups were Supposedly been selected for IEEE Presentations being held in Turkey for May 2009 ( one group being mine ). The Registration Fee per Batch was 88thousand Rupees.
about 1.3lac was collected from Final Year students as Alumni Fund. When we Stated that the Amount which "we had collected"( final year only ), could be distributed among final year Batches representing Our College Internationally.

I don't know which genius had kept OUR seniors In-charge of OUR money, who were THousands of miles away in USA and UK. They asked us to present a case file, so that they can approve or it, later they denied us payment of the partial registration fee from the amount Collected from us, saying its for the benefit of juniors ( the retards who couldn't even give a farewell party, 2 ECE branches couldn't collect amount for 1 Class, where as we had payed and givin Fresher party for 2 Classes ( 60 students each ).

eventually i ended up paying my groups registration fee of 88k.


so what ur facing, isn't new, i[censored] got time on ur hands u can take them to court or complain in JNTU, its ur call, what ever the reason, don't mention yer name in JNTU administrative branch, and its better to tip up Tv guys such as TV9...etc, may be that will get them goin.

last year also we were demanded for an extra amount rs 2000 but it was refunded back to us but this year there are indifferent answers from the principal and also the rude behaviour of the administrative officer (Mr.Gangadhar rao) frightening of giving the transfer certificate to those who are questioning against the issue.
the last date to pay the fees without fine is 13th july 2009. we expect positive reply from your side….

I have paid the mony for MINT paper subscription.
I am not getting paper from paper vendor, custoer care is hope less.
Don't take any suscription from hindustan times, it is hopeless service.

I have also given the cheque for Rs 190.00 in the month of december 09 for subscription of MINT newspaper for six months and till after several follow ups i have not receive the coupons.
every time executive told me that you will get the coupons within week. i dont know when this week will end.

I, Abhishek Sharma, a regular reader of your esteemed newspaper, specially "MARKET & FINANCE". First of all, I appreciate that you are using market convention for quoting the Key CURRENCIES RATE.

I would like to inform you that, you are regularly committing a same mistake while quoting the Currency Conversion Rate.
For instance, refer your newspaper_ Market & Finance_ Market Monitor_ Key Currencies_3rd quote.

i. e. USD/EUR

1st mistake- Its a wrong quote, correct one is EUR/USD (As per Market Convention)
But if you are using USD/EUR, it means you are talking in respect o[censored]SD, further means, USD is base currency, than the value quoted by you is calculated wrongly.

IT IS “1 DECIMAL AND SOMETHING (1.2222)”., BUT 1 USD IS LESS THAN A EUR...(0.2222)

Remaining quotes are correct. I also informed you that I have got mislead by this information and have born a heavy loss.

Please look into this Matter.

My name is Akshay Garg and I had given cash Rs.500/= for MINT newspaper(hindustan times) 1 years offer to Mr.Chadda(HT Executive) on 5/12/10 but till today I have not received my coupon.I have been calling ( for non receipt of coupon)to hindustan times and always I got reply that "You will receive your coupon within a week time".I can't understand that whenever this "one week" will end.

I paid a cheque of Rs.298/- towards yearly subscription for MINT on[protected].Despite contacting at Tel. 67764242 on[protected],[protected], and on[protected], I did not receive the coupons, instead what I got was assurance only saying that I would be getting the coupons following week and confirming by the ticket no. which was MUM/BP/S6/1021.I sent a mail also to Mr.Sanjay Venugopal/Mr. Rohit Pujari on[protected], but they did not show the curtsy of making a reply even. It is really frustrating.
If I do not get solution to my problem soon, I may be constrained to initiate action which may not be palatable to the Management.
P.S. The amount was paid vide Chq. no.201970 drawn on IDBI Bank.
