My renewal of newspaper subscription was pending on 8th December 2014. These guys kept on following me to pay it via check! As I was out of checks, so I requested them to suggest me some other medium to pay! The rep never gave me any option and kept on hanging up that we will let you know. After so many tries, I got hold of online payment system, but to my surprise, there was some issue and they were not accepting the online payments. I requested the cash which they refuse to accept. After that I ordered my check book and post that I again contacted these guys. A rep came to me in late December, I guess, and took the check and confirmed me that the coupons will be delivered within 3-4 weeks. Meanwhile, i requested the vendor to continue the paper as the they accept coupon with a delay of a month. during 25th Jan, Vendor started insisting me to give the coupons but i kept on asking for some more grace as if I was begging. in Mid Feb, vendor told that he will not deliver the paper. He stopped delivering the paper and I gave him the amount for 2 months, based on their monthly cycle. and these 2 months, although i have paid for the scheme, but I could not enjoy the benefits. I told the rep in the beginning that I will be shifting to Bangalore in April, but he still suggested to go for the coupons as if I avail the paper for 5 months without offer, the amount will still come closer to the yearly subscription. The whole deal was on this purpose which was missed badly because of HT's PATHETIC SERVICE. I kept on trying there call center number which never took me anywhere. Then i started writing emails, the first email sent was on 9th February. it is 8th April and HT team has replied only once which is today! I have sent them 7 reminders to beg for a reply! This is complete breach of trust and timelines and I want these people to pay my money and will never be associated with them EVER AGAIN! VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!! Was this information helpful? |
