I bought a Hindware italian collection commode from Calicut 18 months ago. This was used in the bathroom in my calicut house and i work in Bangalore.

Please note that i use this bathroom only when i go to calicut once in 3 months. which means i hardly used the commode.

I went to calicut on Feb 16th and while i was in the bathroom - placed one feet on the seat cover to lather the same and the next thing i know is that its broken.

I registered a complaint with hindware and they are saying its not covered under warranty and i have to pay 2800 rupees for a seat cover!!!

I tried explaining to them that this is a manufacturing defect and that's the reason it broke so easily. I tried contacting their regional office also but no use.

please help..im more than ready to provide you any info regarding this issue, i need justice!

wc cover is come out its need to fix again.
i too have the same model and the ceat cover i have not bought of italian only hardly one and half year ago i bought it, the screw metal got so rusted that it broke the screw and the plastic on which it i to be monted the metal should have been brass it would not have broken because of rust i am my self an indutrylist if you say i can develope the same that will last for life time. now they say to buy the hole ceat cover we cannot give the part of it. come on man spend Rs 2700 for what i had paid such a good amount.your company should contact me and replace the same. regards rohit wadhawan
I had installed Hindware wc oval shaped one year back, don, t know which model no.. Now, the seat cover is broken and I need to get it changed. After searching at all places in Lucknow, I have still to find it and get it replaced. Kindly guide as to how it will be changed. Thanks

    Dear Sir,

    We have purchased 4 nos of TAURUS EWC for our newly built home at 1322, Ratanlal Nagar, Kanpur.

    We had done the purchase from your Local Dealer M/s.Malik Hardware & Sanitary, who had delivered the 2nos of EWC during last month and balance 2 EWC are yet to be delivered.

    We had got the EWC installed on 28th January and are using one EWC, the second one is yet not used even for once. We started using one EWC from 6th Feb. The undersigned is personally using the same and found that the flushing was not proper. The dealer had deputed their mechanic (Hindware Mechanic Mr.Vijay) who had done some settings but the problem was not resolved. Again, the complaint was lodged to Lucknow office, who deputed Mr.Ashok on Friday and he also shifted the seat cover and tried to set-right the flushing pressure and told us to use for two days and report.

    Please note that the bore of the seat is 4" away from the back face of seat and normally in other seats we have noticed at 2" to 2.5" and due to which the diffused matter gets stuck up on the 4" portion which does not clear with the flushing operation. This is happening every day and I have clean it by putting 5-6 mugs of water, which is not correct.

    We have been using toilet seats and even a seat costing Rs.800/- does better flushing and the diffused matter is cleared in one flushing.

    The problem is that we have spent 15 times of the cost (i.e. Rs.12, 000.00 per seat) and we are not satisfied, we have to clean manually after flushing which is not acceptable.

    The matter has been discussed with the dealer, who has straight away refused to replace the EWC which have been installed, therefore we are bringing this matter to you to get the same settled. We are not ready to accept the particular model of the Italian Collection at any cost. The money may kindly be got refunded and the seats be lifted immediately. If our request is not considered then we shall take up the matter with the Consumer Forum.

    We never expected such a treatment from a Hindware Dealer, please depute your engineer to look into the matter at the earliest.

    It will not be out of place to mention that we have also purchased 2 seats from CERA and they are giving us satisfactory performance, which please be noted.

    Hindware — toilet not working

    water not inside toilet tank(western toilet).
    I have purchased one EWC having price of Rs.5880.00 from M/s. Shyam Tiles, Jamshedpur on 24.6.09.
    It is regret to inform you that I have faced a lot of problem at the time of installing the same. The kit which was supplied to me was defective and in spite of several request to M/s. Shyam Tiles to rectify the defect, but they are reluctant to send the representative of your company to check the problem. One Mr.Srivastava of your company talked to me over phone but he does not care to see the problem of me. However after contacting a plumber he any how managed to install the same.
    Being a reputed company we the customer of you should expect some attention to wards your defective materials. After getting a bitter experience from your supplier I have decided not to purchase any sanitary materials from your company and as well as I will request every body not to purchase any material from your branded company, because after selling the material no body is bother to look after for the customers.

    We are having with flushing system since it was installed last year by the builder. It does not work properly. We have tried many local plumbers but none has been able to solve the problem. A rubber seal in one of the flushing system is busted and we don't know where to get the spares. We are very disappointed by the products.

    I had purchased 1 NO. Taurus and 2 No.Coral Italian EWC from Nanda & co. Trading Pvt ltd.. jalandhar last year. The flushing of EWC is not at all satisfactory. The complaint was lodged with with the dealer.
    Please note that the diffused matter gets stuck up on the 4" portion which does not clear with the flushing operation. This is happening every day and I have clean it by putting 5-6 mugs of water, which is not correct. Also the hinges of one of 2 seat covers have also been broken and are not available with the dealer.As such i feel that it is not even comparable with an ordinary EWC available in the market at a very reasonable cost.
    You are requested to take immediate action to reddress my complaint.

    i have purchase 2 no EWC wall hanging from milan enterprises near jawahar nagar RAIPUR c.g. pin no 492001 the amount of per EWC IS RS 10900/- EACH. While insaling we our plumber has seen a product is in damaage condition that is some crckes in the item we have approuched to the dealer m/s milan entt for replacement of item but we are sorry to inform you the responce of your dealer is very bad without lessoning we were told not possible. sir here i would like to inform you that we are in building line we have purchase at least 4 to 5 lac worthe of rs hindware item for our use through rajendra enterprises ashoka uilding near pachpadi naka . we are your regular customer since our requirments was very small that is it was only 2 pcs EWC we pefered to take from your delar m/s milan enterprises which is closed to our new project site. now we would request you to kindly look in to the matter help us and also see the behavier of your dealer to aviod to damage your company reputation which i feel a branded product. the phone no of your dealer is[protected]

    Commited date of delivery was 22nd Feb.'10 but till now 15 urinals are not delivered, we are dealing with the hindware employess directly for the same (Himanshu Daga - +91 [protected] and +91 [protected]) but the response is very unprofessional and now we are having a face loss in front of our client and due to this definately we will black list Hindware for next phases of this project and also for all our other projects.

    Also in the delivered urinals we are facing some problem in the sensors and have several times cordinated with the hindware team but till date no body has visited our project.

    Hope to see an immediate revert on this complaint.

    Thanks for all your reviewes about Hindware products. Thank god! I wont buy such a nonsense product and worst sales after service brand. Let the manufacturers read all these and give their solutions as well as take immediate action. Then only they can regain the reputation of their product.

    Just 9 months back I have purchased this WC costing almost 11000.00 but with its silent-fall seat not working properly. Initially 2/3 times the people from your dealer came and set the things right - i don't know how!!- but later when i faced the same problem of an unstable seat, I made a complaint in 60606677, given to me by the Dealer only, your service person came and fixed the seat with two screws which i objected to.
    Now the seat started giving problem again.
    I have gone for your product with a sense of security regarding quality as well as service assurances. BUT I AM CONSTRAINED TO SAY I was sadly mistaken.

    Could you please look into the matter immediately!?

    Two days before I was given complaint No.06275, but no one even contacted me so far - leave alone coming for servicing.

    This time, i want a permanent solution and not a fix-up shoddy job. After your product's performance, I bought a similar product from CERA and no hassle till date.

    But resently yhere have been cracks in both the wash basins n in 1 wash basin there r almost ten cracks .I wpuld also like to put to ur notice that even the camodes are in very bad conditions..

    We had installed about 50 tapes/mixers of Hindware in kitchens, bathrooms and 19 indian pans, WCs and cisterns of Hindware about 3-4 years back. All items were purchased from authorised dealer at Jaipur. All the sanitaryware except indian pans/wc gave problems. Not even a single tap/mixer worked properly. All cisterns leaked and suprisingly all tapes leaked from all sides. There service pesonnels visited our home more than 8-9 times after calling them more than 30 times and sending mails but could not repair the faulty/defective tapes and cisterns. Lastly we had to call local plumber and replaced many plastic and metallic parts.
    My purpose is to save the customers from falling prey to this co. Hindware. Their tapes are very costly but the quality is very very cheap. Buy any product even cheap plastic tapes/sanitary from roadside and you will find it better than Hindware if you compare price and quality, but NEVER BUY HINDWARE. To buy Hindware is to invite problems and cut your pocket and loose your mentalpeace.They are cheaters. They can make only indian pans and nothing else.
    Please do not be victimised by purchasing Hindware products.

      IN THE MONTH OF MAY 2008, I HAD GIVEN Mr. SANDEEP an executive of hindware fittings(Bangalore) an sum of Rs 50000.00 as trade deposit in hindware- fitting, because of poor service i asked the company to refund my trade deposit on sep2008, til today(12/2/2009) the company has not turned up paying our company an sum of Rs. 50000.00

        Hi,
        We purchased a shower from Hindware, which started splashing water all over the bathroom within the first week of purchase. The company plumber (after repeated complaining) came over to inspect and certified that the product is defective and the company has to replace it. After this, I have raised the issue with the manager (Srinivas, [protected]) innmumberable times, it has been 2 months now and there is still no action from him or the company. Since this wasn't working, we issued a complaint by calling on phone number [protected] (provided in a Hindware advertisement), they even gave us a complaint number 12025017 but have done nothing about it till date. This behaviour is higly disgraceful for a company of this stature.

          Hi All,

          I bought Hindware kitchen sink 2 yrs back. It has 7 yr warranty but the sink got rusted and deeply got cracked and cannot be used at all. I contacted Hindware couple of times but there is no response till date.
          I don't know what action to take further. Please suggest if anybody has a clue on it.

            I purchased amrino model seat of hindware. since it is installed it is continuously giving me problems. Its push button is always pressed down and it leaks till tank gets empty. Even after my repeated complaints all my efforts have gone in vain. Its more than 2 months i am facing problem. Please look into the matter.

            We have purshased washbasin Model Number TF-0500 Vallo total number of quanities is 136. We found 64 Nos washbasin without ovelflow whole. So i have request to you kindly what is remmedies from your side?
            I purchased 2 nos of cascade model seat of hindware. since it is installed it is continuously giving me problems. Its push button is always pressed down and it leaks till tank gets empty.             Hindware' Italian collection" most 3rd grade product, entair water drain out, the plustic parts in the flush are very low grade tecnology, and quality. and after sales service very much poor. from installation i had face the problem.--call services they visited the same do nothing.

            Purchased hindware cistern two year back.having leakage problem from first day.Call for service but couldn't repair.when asked to replace part, they hadn't in stock .Bankrupt company. No service at all
            Service and products are not good. Technician don't know their work properly. Specially hindware sanitary parts. When technician came for repair they changed whole parts. Once I called for hindware flush push button issue. It was leaking after flushing. That technician changed the whole assembly and told us that spare parts is unavailable as hindware don't maufacture these parts separately.

            I have purchased 5 numbers Hindware Italian collection 80 mm Cistern with element rimless jet W/M S/W seat. There’s small metallic clip back of Cistern flush tank push buttons acting as spring pushback. All 5 push buttons clips broken within 3 years. When contacted Hindware service, they are insisting to buy full set of push buttons costing Rs. 1600 each, whereas the clip itself may not cost more than 20 Rs. What an useless after sales spare parts availability.

              Sir with utmost regret I have to say that we have been CHEATED by you people.
              The said shower panel despite top maintainence from our part is in very sorry state. Most of its components have given way and not working.

              We have made numerous comlains to the retailer and your customer care department but with little help. They just wash there hands by sayimg that the warranty is over and now you either pay or we cant help.

              Sir we have brought this costly panel given the brand assurance and value of Hindware.My point is, do we buy your product only to last for 2yrs. I live in a complex which has 400 flats . After this no one from atleast my complex has brought a Hindware shower panel.

              Please do care to look into the matter.

                  Hi All,
                  I bought a 3 burner gas hob of hindware about 7-8 months back. Right from the begining there were problems in the product the burners used to get extinguished without any reason at all. That meant that if I am not looking at the gas and it gets off the gas keeps on leaking which all o[censored]s know can lead to something very drastic. The engineers which came only after lots of shouting on the phone and that too at thier own convinient timings said nothing was wrong with the product and that I should keep my kitchen windows closed. So only afer 3 months of pestering and threatning of legal action did they obliged me by replacing the product.
                  Now in the new stove provided the knob of one of the burners was broken which I was assured will be replaced the very next day. That was the day and 5 months have gone by I have not been able to get the knob making my three burner hob a two burner gas for me. I have lodged complaints and complaints with their customer service cell only to get a call from them after every 20 days or so asking if the product is ok now without any of their engineers coming over at my place.
                  Please advise what can I do in this case???

                    I had purchased Rs 30, 000 worth of bathroom items from M.P. Sons (Kathriguppe, Bangalore) in Feb 2008. Out of these, I had purchased around Rs 22, 000 items worth of Hindware goods that included Wall Mounted Commode, a regular Commode, Sink, Orissa Pan, etc.

                    Once the amount was paid, the dealer took us to his godown and pulled all the items purchased from the invoice.

                    Once in the house, I found that the seating piece of wall mounted commode had a single very thin air crack, which can only be noticed if its looked from a closer angle. I called up the dealer and he said that it was not his responsibility since I had already taken the items. I called up the service desk Hindware Banglaore and they are asking me to sort this out with the dealer. Since, last 7-8 months, I am running from dealer to service center and have not got any response. Its a pathetic service from Hindware, since they need to protect their customer.

                    Yes! I agree that it was a mistake from my part that I overlooked supervising each and every item before I left the dealer premises, mainly because there were lot of items and I could not inspect them very closely, that does not mean that I have to pay for the defect. Hindware is not at all ready to come and have a look. Such a pathetic service.
