[Resolved] HomeTown — Late & Incomplete Delivery; Extremely Unhelpful Customer Care | |||
We recently shifted to our new apartment in Kandivali and the first thing that my wife and I picked up for the house was a bed from Hometown 1. At the showroom, the sales team assures me that the bed we picked up was in stock and should get delivered within 3 days of our purchase 2. I get my bed delivered 2 days late, without any notification or reason 3. Delivery has 2 boxes which the fitting guy deems incomplete (1 box missing) 4. Customer care ASSURES me that they will check the warehouse inventory and call me the following day with an ETA on the missing piece 5. As expected, noone called the following day 6. At around 6 PM my wife called up customer care only to receive vague responses like the xyz team has received the complaint and the abc team can't get back with a response or committment Learnings for me and my family: 1. Never ever shop at hometown 2. Even if all other brands/ competitors shut shot, never shop at hometown Raj +91-[protected] Was this information helpful? | |||
