I had purchased furniture's from home town on 4th Nov'13 which was delivered on 15th Nov'13. After receiving the materials we were informed that the installation team would come within 24 hrs which was not so after following they finally send a person to install the furniture on 17th Nov'13. To our dismay we were surprised the know that the hardware kit was missing in the sealed box supplied to us. The installer confirmed that we would fix up the same within next 2 days which did not happen, our constant followup only proved futile. We finally received a call from their Biwandi warehouse confirming that they dont have the stock of the hardware kit and would another six days since they will require it to call from Nagpur warehouse. The customer service since then as been giving false promises. I have been asking them for a fresh piece which they denied. I dont understand why should a customer face all the agony for the fault of seller. Till date the hardware has not been fixed nor been replaced.
I have burnt my fingers by purchasing the furniture's from home town and swear near to never to purchase any thing from there they are the cheaters. I am planning to go to consumer court. Was this information helpful? |
