Dear sir,
I own a honda activa-reg noTN 59 BP 1387, for which i had taken a annual maintenance contract from the dealer (Amc number[8483602].in the book given it is written 3 free services in an year and the first service was done on 21/1/2020 and second service was done on 10/09/2020, which means the third service is due for Dec 2020. At that time there was lock down through out the country and therefore there was no service given. Apparently, there was no reminder call from dealer for service.
Today when we went to the service center-HARITHA MOTOTS, KOODAL NAGAR, MADURAI, TAMILNADU; they said the third service will not be considered, which means the pandemic months will not be considered and we have lost one service for which we have already paid. Not only that the rudeness of the service person was such that he even said that it has been 5 months since the lock down has ended (How?).
We all are into a situation where unless needed we dont go out of our residence. Everybody is giving considerations in such situations. If one is using two wheelers for a long time then he/she will not go for servicing for obvious reasons. But if we loose our hard earned money due to such decisions by dealers and that too in a pandemic situation then we will strongly oppose it.
Therefore we register a complaint against the dealer and the service person for not giving services for which we have already paid. Also, we would like to have a refund for third service as we were not given service.
