I met with an accident on February 28 and gave my vehicle to Velachery Maansarovar to claim insurance.
When we delivered the vehicle, we asked about the procedure, and they said there is a QR scan for filling out the form. You just fill out the form, and we will update you when the approver comes from the insurance company. I told them I am an office-going person and I cannot come in between; if anything is needed, I will give it now. They confirmed that we do not need anything other than an online QR form.
After one week, we called the service center, but I did not get any updates.
And then they are saying to come and share the ID proofs. I told them I have already told them that I am an office-going person and I cannot come in between that day and itself. They said that without that, we cannot progress further.
So I went to the service center and provided the given proof. After one week, I called the service center to know the status of the vehicle. They said Insurance company has not approved yet so I just called the insurance company and asked them to approve the vehicle and I asked the service center if you would have told me before why you were waiting until I called and asked about the vehicle status.
I just kept track of the vehicle because no one updated the status from the service center.
Finally, the floor manager said everything is ready and you can come get your bike today, i.e., April 3.
Yesterday I went to the service center to see my vehicle eagerly after 1 month and 1 week. In the account section, they are saying that we didn't get the CMC number from the insurance company, so we will not deliver the vehicle, and I told them, You should have informed me before. You cannot say this after reaching the service center, and when I asked about when I have to come back to get the vehicle, the account manager simply said, I will send the email to the insurance company, and then you will get the CMC number. After that, you can come and get the vehicle.(Please take note that even though we went to pick up the vehicle in the evening after learning that it was ready at 9:30 AM, the email to the insurance company was not sent there. They are battling in the account section; why have you not sent the email yet?)
I just reported the issue to the CRM manager at Velachery, and I am totally disappointed with him. He said that we cannot deliver the vehicle; we will deliver the vehicle when we receive the CMC number, or else pay the full amount and get the vehicle. When you get the CMc number, we will provide you with the cheque leaf after receiving the CMS number. You can do whatever you want.
I am totally dissatisfied with your service at Velachery Mannsovara.
