On 30th July 2025, I visited Sri Jai Autos, Adyar (KTM Authorized Service Center) for my bike servicing. After the service, I noticed that the speedometer cover had been replaced with an old/damaged one. When I raised this concern, the service staff tried to divert the issue by asking me to check the meter reading, while my concern was clearly with the cover – not the reading.

I immediately raised a complaint (Ticket No: ISR2425141). On 31st July, someone from the dealership connected with me, but the staff was extremely rude. When I visited the center again, they blamed me for not having prior proof of the original condition of my bike.

First of all, why should a customer provide proof of their vehicle’s condition before handing it to an authorized service center?

Interestingly, they took a video of my bike on 31st July without my permission, which makes me suspicious. I wrote to KTM customer care and again connected with the helpdesk on 1st August to report the issue.

On 2nd August, the dealership called me. I asked for the video footage and they promised to check and get back. But instead, I received a mail stating that the issue is not from their end and that they have “video proof” – which I believe is the unauthorized footage taken on 31st July after the fraudulent work was already done.

This strongly indicates that they replaced my speedometer cover without consent and are now using a misleading video as “proof.” I now suspect that other parts may also have been tampered with or replaced without my knowledge.

I am extremely disappointed with this kind of fraudulent behavior from an authorized KTM service center. I request assistance to:
1. Obtain the original service footage from them.
2. Take strict action against the dealership for unauthorized part replacement.
3. Prevent such incidents from happening to other customers.

Please help me with legal support or guide me on how to escalate this further.

    Dear KTM Team,

    I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep frustration regarding the ongoing issue with my motorcycle's instrument cluster, which has persisted for nearly two years despite numerous attempts to resolve it through your service team.

    Initially, I appreciated the assistance provided by Madhu from KTM Banashankari, who seemed genuinely helpful. However, even his efforts have not led to a satisfactory resolution, especially concerning the instrument cluster.

    To provide context, I first reported a problem with the fuel indication on my instrument cluster, prompting a replacement. Unfortunately, this process took an unacceptable 15 days, and upon receiving the supposedly new instrument cluster, I discovered it was marred with scratches. Despite bringing this to the attention of your team, I was informed that the issue could not be rectified as the cluster was received in that condition from your Pune team.

    Regrettably, the replacement did not resolve the underlying problem, and I have been experiencing the same issues for the past two years. This extended duration has severely impacted my trust and confidence in KTM's ability to deliver reliable service.

    Furthermore, I have strong suspicions that the replacement instrument cluster was not new, raising concerns about the quality of parts used in the servicing process.

    At this juncture, I implore you to take immediate action to rectify this persistent issue. I kindly request a thorough inspection of my motorcycle's instrument cluster and, if necessary, the installation of a new, fully functional unit. It is imperative to me as a customer that this matter is addressed promptly and effectively to restore my confidence in KTM's commitment to quality service.

    I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a swift resolution.

      I bought a bike ktm rc 390 in india, chennai, annasalai, khivraj dealers, and i am servicing my bike in nearby dealer (gusto racing redhills ) for past 2 years aproximately till now i did 11 services intha ktm service centre redhills branch, and i have maintaining my bike properly, and i have a problem of low oil in the engine, i took my bike to the service centre, they said there is no problem in the bike and the oil level is good, repatedly i asked this for 2-4 times they said nothing, but now the white smoke is coming from the silencer due to no oil in the engine and maybe it also fault from the engine bore or head, but they are explaining me that we may no the responsible for your issue you have to deal with this, and they saying this rudely, please help me to recover my engine in good condition, am unable to pay that much money to the dealer please help me

      kindly inform you that, my KTM bike service is in August 2024, and i have Received the call to many time for the Bike Service in till date. He said me your KTM Bike second service is Last Day. Why he is Force to me you can service your Wahicle is Last Date.
      its not good for me. The are ahead many time calls to Service before my Date to Service.. They Are Chit for Customers..
      So Please Resolve my Issues and Stop this one Integrity for me.

            My two wheeler Duke 250(KL.48.q.7518) vechile engine head complate in 1 year time and replace the head and again the same complate in my vechile and I told the service department and her told warranty will claim we give that and service team video and photo snd the warranty team but not get the approval for my engine head at the time the engine noice will higher-ups and tapt sound coming what I do sir only 1year. Only one year I take the vechile but 2 time this problem no one bothered about that daily I calling not responding what I do this is bad image for mannuthy KTM showroom... My vechile my heart but the mannuthy service was very poor pls claim warranty for my engine head. Pls reply for this msg and solve my vechile problem in fast in 1 week I want a explanation for my problem

              Bike had battery low issue. Went to KTM service center in Kannur, Team confirmed that to replace with new battery. After replacing the new battery, in a week, we notices the Battery low issue again. Went to same service center, The service team confirmed that There is issue with Regulator and the same replaced, additional service charge is required for the each service center visit. In a week time, we gain noticed the Battery is low, today went to service center, they are now updating that the starter coil is having issue. without checking this root cause, they simply replaced my battery and regulator. The service is very poor in KVR Vehicles (12380) branch. I had also requested to refund the Regulator price which is replaced without checking the actual issue. They are not ready to refund, also not ready to provide my old replaced part.

                I brought KTM DUKE 200 on 26/11/2019
                Km driven 26471 on my bike my mono shock absorber has been damaged oil seal breakdown. On today 09/02/2023 I went to my nearby showroom mettupalayam coimbatore they said it is not applicable for claim they said there is no any options for claim you need to pay for your new shock absorber by your own for that it is cost around 5200/- so kindly pls help me to get my replacement in claim REGISTRATION NO (TN38 CU 3978)
                I got so frustration for purchasing a bike in KTM they not even response... Help me to fix this 🙏

                  My name is Prabhakar senapati lives in Raipur Chhattisgarh actually sir my nephew who live in odisa raja khariar he order a ktm rc 200 light bulb form the showroom of Raipur Chhattisgarh telibandha ktm showroom they confirmed the order and take the payment on their own phone pay wallet with the delivery charges and the name of the guy who take the order is may b rajat, he doesn't delivered the product to my nephew and also not attending the call of my nephew his contact number is this[protected] so then my nephew told me uncle plz visti the ktm showroom and take the product and deliver to me and visit the showroom then he became so toxic and using bad, worng word to me he is taking like he is a mafiya or a big criminal he also not return the delivery charges and talking like a owner of ktm India plz this is my humble request to you plz take some strict action on that person.

                        I purchased a bike in December and its driven only 3000 kms...All service's done on time...1 month ago..i got a issue in bike of pickup problem...when i visited the showroom that time was my 3rd service...when i explained my issue to the service center...they said it's not much big problem and we dont have any senior mechanic here...you come after some days...after some days i visited the showroom again...they said you go to another KTM Showroom Because we dont have any senior mechanic here...we cant help you...then i visited another showroom which was located far away from there...today i went to Ktm Showroom Srinagar...
                        i explained them all my issues...i have pickup issue, , pickup loss and some other minor problems... upon Checking they said it's clutch plate problem...so they told me to replace it...so i replied them to replace it...they even added back old engine oil in it after replacing the clutch plate...if they had checked at the time of 3rd service when i visited..i wont have thes e problems...

                        So now i replaced the clutch plate...still i got the pickup issue...i told them to check fuel pump...they didn't pay heed to it...they were just ignoring ...And clutch plate was ok..still they changed it and charged me for it...and they damaged my bike too...When i gave them the bike..the bike was in Ok condition...All i was having is pickup problem...but when they delivered me the bike after replacing clutch plate...i noticed my chain kit is broken...when i asked them...they misbehaved and they were not able to answer about it...just lame excuses...

                        All i want to say is they charged me for nothing...and They damaged my bike

                        While giving bike to them...Bike was All ok...but they damaged it..nor they Solved the pickup problem

                        I want strict against them...and want my money back..And resolve my Pickup problem and other issues

                        I was charged for clutch plates which they deliberately changed...still the issue wasn't solved...and they damaged my chain kit too

                          I have KTM RC 125, my bike suddenly shuts down, while riding and doesn't start. This happened many times vehicle pickup through Europ Assistance india many times 1. case ID is TI[protected]. case ID is TI[protected].case ID is TI[protected].case ID is TI01193666 and i towed my bike to service center. They suggested to replace the few parts and still issue not solved. I live in Jhajjar Haryana and i gave my bike to universal Automotive Naharpur Roopa near Rajiv Chowk opp Nexa Showroom Nh8 Gurgaon Haryana 122001 service center. 4 time
                          I spent more than 5000 rupees on this problem. But still not solved, . Please help me on this. very bad I feel why I choose this bike now i am feeling

                            I have purchased Duke 200 (MH12TZ6975) from Pune Center Wakadewadi in feb 2022.
                            Left mirror of bike has been separated with in 2 months due to bad thread in the mirror plug, There was some settlement done by KTM Team with wire while fitting mirror before delivery
                            Now it is unable to install the mirror due to there is no thread in the mirror plug.

                              Good morning, i have 3 of your bikes ktm 350, 500, and the new 1290 adventure as you can see we love your product, we have purchased all these at future sport townsville queensland australia . Our recent ppurchase was the 1290 which we paid cash for, when the bike arrived the screen was damaged and meant to be replaced under warrenty, we also had paid up fornt as a package deal, touring top case [protected], touring case set [protected], crash bar kit [protected]eb, backrest [protected], on going into the shop the other day we find it closed and not relocated any whare .                                 It has been 3 months since I bought the Duke 125 bike from the Vadakara KTM showroom. The bike radiator did not work after the first service. The bike was taken to the Vadakara ktm showroom for repair of the radiator and the radiator was not repaired. From Vadakara ktm showroom they told us "This is a 125 bike, no need for radiator. Why radiator in 125 bike?"

                                  Due to being in the guarantee, the old parts were corrected and installed again.
                                  Service Advisor Mr. Chaudhary +91 [protected] ( service advisor ) kept the bike in the workshop for extra 1 day for testing. But even after that, the bike had to be pushed in the way.
                                  Had to be pulled by crane 2 times in 3 days
                                  Parts not Available in Store.

                                      Complain 1 : Waiting period exceed half year. Booked 2021 Nov till now haven't receive my bike

                                      Complain 2 : Salesman feedback estimate Jun2022 will get the bike, unfortunately is 2021 old version colors & spec bike...(what ???)

                                      Complain 3 : I paid new version bike price (much higher than 1st batch), but get a old model of bike.

                                      Please help & assist let KTM international know about this in ASEAN incident.
