We had purchased honda activa 4g (2018) model from joshi honda, sector-4, panchkula on 3rd apr 2018. The very next day we noticed that there was some issue with the brakes, there was lot of sound while driving and applying brakes. We visited the sector 8 centre next day and we were told that all these issues are there because the machine is still new and will be fine in next few days. After 9-10 days we had another issue where the vehicle race was getting interrupted (Sort of stopping the vehicle) while driving and again we visited the centre but didn’t get any satisfactory response. After 2 days from this, when i was driving the vehicle the vehicle stopped for 5-6 times on the road and finally broke in the middle of the road. I had to push the vehicle for almost one km to get home. After that i tried contacting sector 8 centre on phone (Bcoz the vehicle was not getting started) and there was no response. After 7-8 filed attempts, i could connect with them and was told that their mechanic will visit my place to check the vehicle but no one turned up until next one day. On multiple follow up, finally centre head, mr. Kamaljeet singh (Guess this is the right name), sent a mechanic and supervisor to my place to check the vehicle. After almost 45 minutes of checkup, they found out that the plug was short and so the current was not passing which is required to start and running of the vehicle. They also told that due to this defect, i was facing the issue while driving (Interrupted race) and now there should not be any issue anymore. Story doesn’t end here, i also had the complain of having the feel of regression in the back wheel while driving at the speed between 30-45 and the mechanic & supervisor both simply denied that fact. On insisting to check the wheel, they asked to visit their service centre in industrial area, panchkula. Yesterday, i visited the centre and told them the whole thing whatever happened till now and ask for the full vehicle check up. Supervisor over there, immediately agreed on the regression in back wheel saying that every new vehicle (4g and 5g) has new technology due to which this happens and this will go away after 3-4 services of the vehicle. This statement of suprevisor’s of service centre proves that the mechanic/ supervisor who visited my place were either not aware of this technological change and simply tried to ignore my complaint even though the regression was very much there or lied to me. After going through all this, i requested the centre to change the vehicle and give me the problem free vehicle and i was told that this is not possible but i can visit their service centre whenever i face any problem. My point is, why should i accept a vehicle which is giving me problem from day one and every time we did inform the dealer about it. I haven’t bought the vehicle just to visit service centre and waste my time & energy. I am writing this to you as i am not getting the suitable response from the local dealer here.
