Honda 2 Wheelers India — Honda hness CB350 rusting and paint peel off issue in whole bike

I Purchased Honda Hness CB350 Dual Tone Black Colour from Big Wing Ahmedabad Central on 12/07/2021.

1. First Issue - The bike i received initially was found with rusted chassis all over the inner and outer chassis parts when brought home the very first day. Contacted the dealership and they fixed the issue the next day by replacing the bike as the documents were not forwarded to RTO and provided me with a new bike.

2. Second Issue - On 03/10/2021 (Approx 2.5 Months after purchase) while cleaning the bike, I noticed that all the metal parts on inner-outer area and chrome parts over the engine, handle, mudguard, powder coating on rear shockers and silencer were getting rusted. Also, the paint was seen peeled off from the footrest and other nearby parts. Contacted the dealership and emailed customer care on 18/10/2021 and complaint reference number 1-[protected] was provided to me. After that, I got provided with a one and only solution of anti-rust spray over the rusted parts of the bike and told me that's the best they could do as asked by the Honda Team. Also, according to them I need to get the shockers repainted at my own cost. The complaint was marked resolved by Honda on 21/10/2021.

3. Third Issue - On 03/12/2021 (Approx 4.5 Months after purchase), the powder coated paint on the middle block of the engine observed peeling off from many spots around the engine. Contacted dealership regarding the same and the best solution they could provide is to replace the middle block of the engine under warranty. This time I raised an issue on the twitter and the complaint was registered by Honda itself this time with complaint reference number[protected].

All I Know that it may be a production issue with this single unit but I really cannot wait for another part to be found rusted or any rusted part to be replaced or fall off the bike. Dealership provides the solution under warranty only which was intimated to them by Honda Management Team. And the only solutions are either anti-rust spray, part replacement or repaint of the particular part/item.

The bike’s main part is the engine and chassis on which it basically performs. Both the things are rusted and paint peeled off from many places. And to open the engine parts and replace the same within 5 months of purchase is not upto the mark of quality. If the engine of a new bike needs a paint job or replacement within 5 months of purchase then how can you expect me to be in peace with it for the coming years. What am I supposed to do if another rust issue or paint peel issue comes after 2 months with some other part of the bike of if anything starts falling off the bike?? Get it replaced or repainted again??

The parts provided originally in the engine and bike did not even last for 4 months, and I can not wait another 4 months to see if other parts will last that long. Complaining with Honda doesn’t help as the complaint is forwarded to the particular Honda Dealership and I am not satisfied with the solution they are providing of replacement of the part or repaint of the same. Product being in warranty period does not mean that I keep getting replacement or repaint offers every time a problem arises. This is not the permanent solution. I am requesting for the new bike by replacing the same or the refund of my money.
