Honda 2 Wheelers India — Manufacturing defect of Self start malfunctioning & kick start issue

I had purchased Honda Unicorn BS6 from Parekh Automotives Pvt. Ltd. and took delivery of the Bike on 4th December 2020, thereafter l had done my first free Service at Parekh Honda Authorised service centre on 31/12/2020 for which I had paid Rs.1471 as service charges and had paid Rs. 647 for extended warranty.

Just after riding the Bike for two days after the aforesaid service the self start started malfunctioning and it was very difficult to start the bike with Kick start as the kick start works only after 5-7 hard kicks and this is specially problematic when you are especially on road in Mumbai traffic.

I had taken the bike to aforesaid Authorised service centre next day i.e. maybe on 4th of Jan 2021 after keeping the bike in service centre for 2-3 days they returned back stating that now the bike self start is o.k. on inquiring about the problem the adviser at service centre told it was carbon issue. Thereafter I rode the bike nearly for a week again the self start stopped functioning while travelling in heavy traffic. I took the Bike again to aforesaid service centre and this time the advisor told that they had received similar complaints about few other new bikes and it is Magnetic Coil issue. They told me that I will have to keep the bike for some time with service centre as they had asked Honda to provide new Magnetic Coil. I had kept the bike at Service Centre on 21st January 2021 and after not receiving any status update from Honda Authorised service centre had called them several times after two weeks finally after following up from my end I got the bike on 11/2/2021 the service centre advisor told that they had put new magnet coil and now self start will function smoothly.

I took the bike in good faith but the very next day the self start stopped working while I was travelling in heavy traffic also the kick was hard to start it was a frustrating experience in middle of traffic.

Now again I took my Bike to the aforesaid service centre and had kept with them to rectify this manufacturing defect and till today I had not received the bike.

I had a terrible Horrible experience with this new BS6 Unicorn bike of Honda which I had brought for one lakh twenty thousand on road price.
Further apart from substandard manufacturing of the bike the service aspect was pathetic there is no responsible person from Honda in the Service Centre who is ready to come forward and attend to customer complaint and resolve this manufacturing defect at the earliest and assure the customer about redressal of their issues with Honda.
The service centre Manager is shying away from attending to customer complaints and the junior staff who are not efficient in the matters are being put forward to attend such serious issues. Every time when I inquire with the staff about Manager they say he is in a meeting.

The staff who Coordinate with the customer can't assure whether the bike will not malfunction this time. When I tell them to connect with advisor who was handling my case they always say he has gone for a trial.

The Unicorn bike which had generated a good faith amongst customers of Honda earlier is now being degraded by such substandard manufacturing and service even after increasing the price substantially.

I expect Honda to respond in a professional manner and resolve such issues at the earliest.
