Honda 2 Wheelers India — Vehicle more damaged after the service
Before 6months(not exactly) i given my bike (which is a Hornet 160 R ) for general servicing at Vayalat Honda, Thripunithura. At that time they suggested me to do de carbonization, because the vehicle run 40000+ . So i agreed it and they serviced my bike and given back. After getting my vehicle, what i felt is that lot of heat from the engine side. Initially I thought that the servicing people put a lot of vax at the engine side, that's why this much of heat is produced. ( This is another bad thing they are doing :- Putting unwanted melting vax at the engine side). Then gradually I recognized that there is a lot of heat from the engine side. Before two weeks I again given the vehicle for another general service. I mentioned them there is a lot of heat I'm feeling from the engine side, there is a small sound from the back side and the vehicle has some missing issue. After one day they called me and said something like there is a bent on the sink arm, so that I need to replace the Sink arm and the mono shock and some other parts something like spark plug and some parts I need to replace. So I said okay please check the vehicle completely if anything need to be repaired or replaced. They said it's ok no need to replace anything other than this and this service cost around 7000 rupees. I agreed and taken the vehicle from the service center after servicing. Then directly I go to a tire shop for changing my rear tire. After taking the tire by removing the axle, all ball bearings from the shaft were fall down. I was surprised. I called the service team and asked about it, they said something like "this kind of thing will not be happened" and on the next day one of the technical person from the service center came to the tire shop and rechecked the vehicle and find that the bearing is broken. I told them to take a vehicle to service center and recheck at the vehicle. After rechecking they said there is no further issues the vehicle is okay right now. (one of the the worst thing I saw there is that, checking the engine temperature using human hand, there is no equipment is available for checking the temperature). What happened is that after 150 kilometers I'm feeling some sounds from the rear side and I can feel some jerking at my foot peg also the vehicle has more than earlier missing. while that time I was in a travel to a destination around 200 plus kilometers so I given the vehicle to a service center after 500 plus kilometers travel. I asked them why this kind of issue is happened they replied me like this vehicle is already travel to more than 500 + kilometers, there will be wear and tear that's why these kind of things is happening. They trying to blame on the customer. Actually this situation is happened just because they are not doing the service properly. (they are not checking the wear and tear of mechanical parts, even a Vernier caliper is not used). Again they asked me to change the chain and sprocket and I need to pay around 1500 for that. I said OK then replaced with that. At that time also I said please re check the vehicle completely. They said no problem again the vehicle is completely perfect. While I am travelling back to home again I am feeling the same missing issue so I called them and take the vehicle from here and revert me. I took the vehicle from here now they are saying something like I need to change some other parts as well I said you are doing the trial and error by changing part by part now almost all the parts are changed within a simple service except the engine and fiber part so I don't like to pay any more it's purely because of your servicing issue. I asked them why you didn't find out this kind of issues earlier. For that they said there was no issue like that earlier that's why they didn't do like that (actually it's a blunder answer) a common person can understand that they are simply doing the trial and error mechanism for servicing the vehicle. Servicing a vehicle means not repairing the vehicle after it's got damage, it's like preventing the damage. Even after the vehicle got damaged they are not able to find out the reason that's why they are doing this kind of trial and error mechanism. I am totally fed up with them that's why I contacting Honda directly. I registered a complaint to Honda before 10 or 15 days back for that also I didn't get a proper solution. Now the vehicle is at the service center and I need to take it from there because they are not providing any dropping facility right now (but while pick up the vehicle from here they said something like they will drop the vehicle at my home). What they are asking is that again I need to pay for replacing some other parts. I totally fed up with them I lost the trust with them I am not sure what they are doing this is the fourth time I am continuously giving this vehicle to a same service center within 2 weeks. please find a proper solution for this. (one more things
happened, because I complaint against them with a Honda now the CRM of that service center had a personal Revenge against me.)
