Honda — No solution received for replaced faulty Digipad 1

DEAR TEAM,

I own a Honda City 2018 model ZX CVT variant. It comes with the AVN unit so called Digipad 1. I initially placed a complaint regarding the same due to liquid leak in display and same was approved for replacement. I had also complaint about the pathetic quality and performance of the unit and I was assured by customer relations that Digipad 1 will not be provided to me as replacement by mail.

But after 6 months time when the replacement unit came it was the same Digipad 1. when I informed that I cannot accept same, They had assured me that the new unit will be of better quality and upgraded one. They also told me to use the same for some time and share my feedback. Because of this assurance i accepted the replacement unit and started using the same.

On using the same I came to know that same is not any better than the old one and replaced unit is also having the same pathetic quality. For the replaced unit now the touchpad is not responsive sometimes and also the display getting on not properly on booting.

I also had contacted the manufacturers of Digipad 1, who is the PSS (premium sound solutions) and they informed me that the production of Digipad 1 is stopped 2 yrs before and there is no supply of same to Honda. I wonder how Honda is then replacing the faulty Digipad 1 with Digipad 1 itself which is not currently in production. I feel cheated by Honda by replacing the faulty Digipad 1 with a repaired Digipad 1, for which complaints still persist. Replaced unit should be a newly manufactured one and not a repaired unit. So by this Honda has cheated me.

When i complained about the fault of replaced Digipad 1 and asked them to replace with some other good AVN unit which is compatible with my vehicle, they are not interested in accepting the complaint and they are just closing the complaint saying that the system is working as per its specifications.

Thereafter I am not getting a response to my mails.

Therefore request for solution for my complaint in this forum.
