I have purchased a HP Printer MFP M479dw
Serial No CNCP2M2PC
The printer stopped working on 27 Sep 21 and started displaying an error code which was passed onto the support center and ticket raised
I was informed that it was a motor problem and it would be resolved in a short time
On 01 Oct 21, a service engineer (Mr Krishna- +91 [protected]) came for addressing the issue
He had brought a motor with him
He opened up the printer with some difficulty, opened up some components and said there is a mismatch in part received and he cannot resolve the problem and he will order new parts
On 05 Oct he has again come at 1600h with another part (motor).
Printer opened and at 1700h again he has said there is a mismatch and he is ordering new parts
He also says- ‘boards have to be changed’
On 11 Oct 21 I have spoken with HP support and the support person has indicated that the LVPS is damaged and they are looking into the issue
I wanted an escalation of the complaint and after great reluctance an email was shared and so next I have sent an email to [protected]@hp.com. No response received till date
This bouncing around of a complaint and not even the correct identification of the defect from the service engineer after more than 2 weeks is astonishing and not really acceptable. Its actually shameful.
Sir, the printer is non-operational from 27 Sep 21 without fruitful resolution or even identification of the defect
The printer costs Rs 84, 435/- and was purchased directly from the Hp store online
HP has sent a defective product and needs to be replaced at the earliest
