Sir,
1. I own an HP DV9413CL series laptop Product Number:GA358UA, Serial Number:CNF7245SJB purchased on October 21, 2007. This laptop carries a 2 years base warranty bundled with the purchase- thus the said laptop should enjoy an international hardware warranty support till October 21, 2009. I have the original purchase invoice with me.

2. Unlike my expectations from an HP product, the laptop has had hardware failure 2 times since purchase. BUT true to my expectations from HP, my DV9413CL has been provided excellent service in terms of replacement of parts (motherboard both the times, to be specific) under the HP Warranty.

3. The International warranty for the said laptop as per the HP.com website (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/weResults?tmp_weCountry=in&tmp_weSerial=... expires on AUGUST 03, 2009; INSTEAD of October 21, 2009, against norms. On contacting HP helpline, it was stated that the warranty on website shows warranty from the date of manufacture, and shall be corrected. However, the warranty status on the said website is still holding the same error due to which my laptop suffers a risk of trouble in case it needs a warranty support.

4. The HP India Support Centre mentions that after August 03, 2009, they will NOT provide me any service support, based on the information available to them through the said website. This is an error on behalf of HP, which needs to be corrected. I have submitted the copy of the purchase invoice to HP as and when demanded by them. I repeatedly requested HP to get this error in the validity of warranty corrected as soon as possible, so that I get full benefit of this purchase. Starting from HP Call Centre support to HP email Support to HP International email support, I have been moving from pillar to post, with innumerable email/fax/telephonic contacts on which I have spent many invaluable hours and money. HP has been passing the ball from one person to another, one office to another, without giving me any relief. It appears that the HP is trying to pass time till Oct 21, 2009 before making me any commitment, so that the entire question of my requesting a warranty support becomes baseless after expiry of 2 years base warranty. Moving from one point to other, my request has been finally dumped with Mr Rajesh of HP INDIA - Warranty Management Tel +[protected], email rajesh.[protected]@hp.com, who has not been responding to my email requests for rectifying the problem.

5. HP India has failed to give a satisfactory solution to the problem, and have failed to support my Warranty error correction requests; although I did not expect such a response from a reputed GLOBAL company like HP.

6. I request you to kindly look into the matter and help me out so that my faith in HP sustains longer and my laptop keeps on getting warranty support without being orphaned. To summarize,
a. HP should get rectified the base warranty discrepancy on their website.
b. HP should get me a satisfactory extended Warranty Support.

i have purchased Hp laptop bombay on oct.2008.after 7 -8 month laptop are not properly working the problem as -1) screen has not display means screen light are swith off.then i'm go to the customer care and discuss the same problem they have say me chacked the laptop and call u.after 10 -20 days they have call me and say your problem has solved.then after 2-3 month the same problem has reapeated.then i have come to the hp care center say to the same problem are occuer.but laptop warrenty has expired and the problem has properly not solved.then what can i do?

    Sir/Madam,
    As per your advertisement in the “AnandaBajar Patrika” during the month of the February 2009, your company had offered UPS and a Printer With Compaq Presario Now or Never Desktop scheme, and I had already send one Demand Draft of Rs.999, dated 09/03/2009 for the same.
    Unfortunately on last week of June 2009, you had sent only an UPS. The Printer mentioned in the scheme yet to send.
    Therefore I am requesting to your good self, please send the Printer as per your scheme at the earliest.

    I bought the HP/ Now or Never Desktop scheme on 28/02/09 with offered Now Or Never Desktop Scheme But you have send only an UPS without all in one printer. You are requested to send the ALL IN ONE printer as soon as possible.

      I have purchased Desktop HP 6710 In from Initiative data system,Singar Nagar Alambag Lucknow on[protected].They have given me an offer of Plinter and UPS which they delivered to me after 6 month of purchase i.e. on 7-9-09. Initially their service engneer came to my residence and he has assembled my machine and loaded required sotwares and games etc.Since they have not delivered printer at that time ,they have given me oral assurence that they will load and install my printer as soon as I receive it,later on,free of cost.Today they are saying that if you want to get the printer installed,it will be a paid service.
      I want my printer installed,onsite, free of cost.

        Greetings!

        Thank you for offering to register this service related grievance issue that I have against HP. Let me place the facts of my case before you for your kind examination.

        Subject of the Service Grievance issue: No Redemtion of free gift offer on purchase of HP Pavilion Laptop even after 6 months have elapsed

        I had purchased a HP product more than six months back, the details of which are listed below:

        Product Purchase Date: 13/02/2009

        Please find attached a scanned copy of the sticker containing the Bar Coded product serial number which was pasted on the cardboard packaging of my HP Pavilion product (Filename: Product Details.jpg).

        Since I am based in Goa, I purchased the above product from a HP authorised dealer in Goa; the dealer's details follow:

        At that time, there was a free gift offer available on the purchase of HP laptops. A customer could choose between a Philips 5.1 Home theatre or a Kodak 9.2 Mega Pixel Camera. The fact of the matter was that I was initially inclined to purchase a laptop from a competing brand, but HP's free gift offer was very tempting and unfortunately tilted my decision in favour of it. And so I made the purchase and decided to opt for the following gift offer:

        Gift Offer Availed: Philips 5.1 Home Theatre (Model No. DSP2200) worth Rs. 10500 (Includes DVD Player with 5.1 output and remote + 5.1 Speaker System)

        In order to avail the offer, a customer had to register the purchased product on their Redemptions Web page and dispatch a cheque/DD for Rs. 1499/- towards handling charges along with other necessary documents. As I was unable to do the same due to my busy work schedule, my dealer offered to register the product for me and also dispatch the cheque and other documents. On registering the product before the expiry date, he obtained the following Redemption Code:

        My dealer also drew a cheque on his own account, and dispatched it to HP Redemptions Cell; the details of the cheque are as follows:

        Cheque Date: 13/02/2009

        Cheque No.: 132679

        Drawn on: Kotak Mahindra Bank, Margao - Goa

        Payee Name: Solutions Integrated Marketing Services Pvt Ltd

        Cheque Amount: 1,499/-

        Please find attached a scanned copy of the Cheque that was dispatched to HP (Filename: Cheque.jpg).

        My dealer later informed me that the cheque was cleared by his Bank and the amount deducted from his account.

        Also, since I was residing in a remote area which could cause problems for the courier to deliver the gift, my HP dealer offered to provide his shop address as the delivery address for the gift.

        Well, it has been more than 6 months since all this transpired, but there has been no sign of the gift.

        To make matters worse, when I e-mailed [protected]@solutions-intg.com on the 20th of July 2009 asking about my gift, they replied back with the following text:

        "We would like to update that we have received multiple claims with the similar contact details; hence the claims were put under audit as per the criteria set by HP. During the audit process, the claim has been identified as a non end customer claim. Since the offer got ended in March 2009, we are not in a position to hold the DD at our end for longer. Hence the DD will be returned back."

        When I refuted their claim, they replied with the following text:

        "With reference to your mail, we would like to inform you that we would be requiring an Approval from the concerned HP Personnel for the processing of the below mentioned claim. Hence, we request you to kindly contact the Dealer or the Local HP Representative for the same."

        So I contacted my dealer who e-mailed Mr. Sachin Saini, ASM - HP, with the facts of the case. Mr. Sachin emails my dealer with the following reply on the 31st July 2009:

        "I will take up the issue to get the same cleared on priority. Already discussed with Abhijit he is carrying stock issue nationally."

        And so I thought that my problem was resolved. However, more than a month has gone by since this discourse and still there is no sign of the gift.

        Thereafter, I sent 2 more e-mails to [protected]@solutions-intg.com, but they never bothered to reply. I then wrote to Mr. Sachin Saini a couple more times; neither did he bother to respond.

        Out of frustration, I sent a complaint to a Contact HP link on their Redemptions Web page, which was favourably responded to by a Ms. Vandana Bhardwaj, HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd, who in turn got in touch with Ms. Neha Sehgal, Program Executive, M/s. Solutions.

        Ms. Neha Sehgal responds with the following text:

        "We would like to update that we have received multiple claims with the similar contact details; hence the claims were put under audit as per the criteria set by HP. During the audit process, the claim has been identified as non end customer claim. Hence, the claim has been rejected."

        Finally, I contacted my dealer again who requested me to get in touch with in.[protected]@hp.com. I wrote to them yesterday; now let's see whether they respond.

        The fact of the matter is that it was my dealer who laid a stake to the claim on my behalf as I have a very strict work schedule and was not able to do the same. HP, without verifying the case or even bothering to contact me, have rejected the case stating that there were multiple claims with the same contact details. Does HP have any ground to do so? Aren't they simply looking for an excuse to avoid redeeming the gift in order to make a saving?

        I believe HP is playing cheat on their customers by offering such attractive promotional offers in order to sell their products. As a last resort, I am now filing this complaint with your ConsumerComplaints.in so that some strict action can be taken against HP for cheating on its customers.

        Hoping that this issue will be resolved soon through your mediation. Kindly publish the facts of this case so that others are made aware of HP's fraudulent promotional offers and are not taken for a ride like the way I was.

        Also, please let me know what action I can take against HP for failing to keep their promise. Since I have been cheated, can I claim a full refund of the amount paid towards the laptop besides some compensation?

        Kindly let me know whether you need any other details for verifying my case.

        LAPTOP HP LAPTOP PAVILION — free home theatre for HP LAPTOP

        Iam nagaraju.i bought the laptop on 31st DEC 2008.
        on that time I saw an offer of home theatre for HP LAPTOP.Home theatre is free for HP LAPTOP by sending RS1499 D.D to HP REDEMPTION CELL, DELHI.I sent D.D on JAN 5th 2009.I have already registered in HP SITE also, they have given me a REDEMPTION CODE is "5XD40CHWIF".MY laptop product ID is LAPTOP HP PAVILION DV 2918TX.But i didn't recieve any acknowledgement till now..

        hp pavillion laptops — non-redemption of free gift

        Sir,
        I bought a HP Pavillion Laptop top on 5 feb 2009 through authorised dealer.
        under a promotion scheme I was promised to be delivered a Phillips Home Theatre within six weeks after my documents as follows
        1.A copy of reseller purchase invoice of the eligible system

        2.barcoded product serial number sticker (original) pasted on the cardboard packaging.

        3. Demand Draft of Rs. 1499/- payable at New Delhi towards handling and processing charges.
        were recieved by HP redemption cell.
        I completed all above formalities and recieved an acknlowdgement mail from HP Redemption cell on 15 Feb that all my documents have reached in time and my free gift i.e Home Theatre system will be delivered to me within 06 weeks time.
        As on 20 March 2009 I have neither received my free gift nor any communication from HP Redemption cell regarding status of the free gift. The contact number of Hp Redemption cell is an automated machine which never ever connects to customer care executive for assistance.
        I request you to please look into the matter and relieve me of this ordeal.

        HP Pavilion PC — Non Delivery of Promised Offer

        Sir,

        I have purchased a HP Pavilion PC A6530IN and registered fpr claiming the Gift pack offer of the company vide Redumption Code No. WA97S76QK9 in the month of November 2008.

        I have also furnished the bar code of the computer, a Cheque No.043883 Dated[protected] and cash Memo to Scheme Coordinator, M/s Innovative Incentives, Sector 8C, Chandigarh by speed post on[protected]. The Spee Post was delivered to their office on 13/12/2008 as per the details given by the Speed Post Tracking.

        After that on my enquiry regarding the promised gift, the company confired that my claim is right in every respect and requested me to wait for 2-3 weeks vide their customer care executives, mail on 19th Feb-2008. In that mail I was informed that my claim No. is 56468 and their file reference No. is 56543

        On[protected], when I contacted over phone their customer care personal informed me that my claim is not tracable and they are not in a positon to deliver the promised gift.

        I, therefore request some higher executives in the company to check the status of my claim and deliver the promised gift.

        HP — redemtion of free gift offer on purchase of HP Pavilion laptop

        I purchased a HP Pavilio Laptop from a authorized dealer SAINFOSYS Bhubaneswar in Dec 2008. As per the promotional offer of HP Pavillion, I was to recieve a Philips Home Theatre 5.1 system in 8 weeks of product registration. But, it has been more than 17 weeks of my product registration and I have not yet recieved my offer gift.

        The HP redemption cell has acknowledge the reciept of a cheque of Rs.1500 against handling and courier charge that I was asked to send to them on product registration and for claiming my gift offer. The amount was also deducted from my account.

        On enquiring for the reason of delay, I got the response that as Bhubaneswar is not so easily reachable by courier companies, the product dispatch is being delayed. Now, the reason stated by them is out of my understanding. How can anyone say thata a state capital city Bhubaneswar is not easily reachable and is a remote area?

        If they believe I live in a remote area, tey should have mentioned this in the offer document that this offer is valid only for purchase in Metro cities. I now feel pitty for those customers who realy leave in remote areas.

        I believe HP as a company is playing cheat on their customers by offering such attractive promotional offer for selling its product. The company is taking advantage of Indian judiciary towards consumer rights and playing fool on us.

        In my last hope of recieving my offer gift, I am filing this complaint with consumer forum to take some strict action against his company HP for cheating on its customer.

        hp computers — Regarding Free Gifts

        I had purchased an HP Pavillion DV6-3211TU on 25 feb. 2011 from UPTEC Computer Consultancy ltd,Lucknow.I was told to get free gifts(4gb pen drive,laptop covers,headphone,optical mouse,etc) through redemption.I had registered as told by the company and got an unique registration code-2580002 and i was told to get the free gifts within 15 days and they will be delivered at my home.but i havent recieved any gifts yet neither any information about them from the company.was the offer just to mislead the customers?

          We have got a fault on our HP 9040 Network Printer . The warranty period is not yet completed. We tried to contact the nearby HP dealer maha Electronics Tirunelveli , for the past one month. We didn’t get proper response from their side. They hesitate to come to our spot and trying to give remedy over phone calls. For the past two days they are avoiding our calls. We are greatly disappointed due to this issue.

            I had taken a new connection from Vodafone ( 1 yr back ) and I am repeatedly getting harrassment calls from Airtel , for some company named APEX credit on my new number . Inspite of repeatedly informing the Airtel customer care executive's time and again for over a year , the calls continue to come to me at my number . While I am writing this complaint, I have received another call from Airtel to assure me that this will not be repeated again .

            I want to document this complaint as I am not sure that this will not be repeated and would definately take action against Airtel and file for harassment charges .

              i bought my laptop in march' 09 from kolkata and started facing problem of screen fluctuation in the month of august' 09. so i have given it for repaire on 25th august' 09 at kolkta hp service centre situated in vikash building 1 st floor. my token no. is 43138. from last 7-8 days they r telling they dont have the spares. i just cant understand how long it take to get a spare from some different countries. any way i have to join a ship on 9th september 09 from belgium. so i cant help in regards of time. plz do something . dont make me fell that i have done mistake by buying HP product. my contact no . is [protected] and landline is [protected]. i more thing your customer care are not very concerned in picking up the phone. someone picked up and told me to hold and i was holding for 5 minutes without a single reply.

                Dear Sir,
                I would like to draw your kind attention towards the above mentioned printer that this printer was purchased from authorised dealer of Korba district of Chhattisgarh State on dated 13.04.07 vide bill no. 554.From the begining to16.08.09 this printer was working very well and at the evening it has been seen that the printer is not geting on.I asked my children that whether any one has started this printer. They replied that they never use this printer. I serched the authorised service centre at Ranchi,Jharkhand and went thereon 17.08.09 evening and met the chief official of that service centre.He cheked this printer without opening this printer and said that this printer is deadand card has been burnt and said to leave this printer without addopter because this addopter is working.I requested him to check this printer in my presence but he denied and say that there is no mechanic available here this printer will be checked tomorrow.I came back with adopter and left the printer at service centre.Again after about 45 minutes I suddenly went to that centre and and asked to returned my printer immediatelly but he said that your printer has been opened and found that card is to be replaced and every thing is OK.I asked him that why my printer has been opened in my absence then he hegitated to reply and said that your printer will be returned back tomorrow. As It was heard by some people that your card will be replaced into burnt because this type of happening always happening in this centre.I brought my printer from that service centre and sent it at Korba to for checking it. I was informed from korba that the Card available in this printer is not of this Printer . Card has been changed.I talked with the official of servicing centre of Ranchi and informed regarding this happening.Then he said that it my be possible that the card of another printer will have been fitted into this printer but card of your printer was burnt. There are may burnt card are lying in my seavicing centre and you may choose any card from these which was of your printer.After this type of reply I became fully confirmed that this person has realy replaced my card which was not burnt into burnt and left the proof with the printer.I said him that I will complaint regarding this matter then he said that you may go any where.I wiil see him.
                I am sure that the card of this Printer was repalced which was not burnt.I always used this printer with Voltage steplizer and UPS.And withouht any defect in Addopter card may not be burnt as found in this printer which was also of another printer.
                Hence you are requested to take suitable action against that person and return my origional card which was installed in my printer, immediately please.

                HP all in one printer — Replacement of Printer

                I have purchased an hp printer model no. DeskJet F4185 (all in one) serial no.CN84T6W2PZ from nahar enterprises bathinda on 20/09/2008 and after one week i.e. on 26/09/2008. I registered my complaint to hp customer care on 27/09/2008 complaint no. [protected]. On 29/09/2008 their service engineer came and declared it a manufacturing defect and said that the company will replace it. Now hp is replacing my printer with an old one I don’t know why they are doing this to me as I have bought this printer as sealed pack and now they are exchanging it with an old unit. Please help me as the matter is creating tension in mind and I am feeling cheated after making many calls to them, it feels like begging my thing from them.

                HP — Printer card replaced

                My printer HP 1410 was in working condition with some error such as "cartridge cradle cannot move". So i visited Thane based service centre called COMPTEL DIGITAL, Hariniwas , Naupada Thane. They said they will check and reply next day, but they didnt call. After calling them for next couple of days they said it cannot be repaired. My printer was in working condition , when i brought it back and connected it cannot be switched ON. I went to Third party service guy he said they have taken out my original cards and replaced with faulty one. I want HP to consider this issue. Why should we go for HP printers if this is what they do once we buy their products.

                HP all in one printer — Defective piece

                I have purchased a HP all in one printer. Its almost more than a year. Never it was giving proper print outs. So many times i went to the service center, they kept on saying that catridges are defective. They made me purchase new catridges each time and almost spent rs. 4000 on catridges whereas the printer itself costs rs. 4000 plus. When i got fed up this time they sent to another service center saying that they do not deal with inkjet printers. I went there and same story again. They made buy new catridges again and this time ultimately after checking the prints they decided that printer was defective. They replaced it with new one. The money i spent on catridges, fuel expenses to go multiple times, time wasted was enormous.
                I don't think anyone should by HP products. Their service extrememly poor and discourteous. This complaint i am giving for awareness of everyone.

                  I BOUGHT A COMPAQ PRESARIO NOTEBOOK V 3029 AU , SERIAL (S)2CE63506FP PRODUCT (1P)RD574PA OPTION (30P)ACJ on 30/09/2006. THE notebook had a warranty of 1 year.

                  I by chance visited the HP website where I found out - HP has identified a hardware issue with certain HP Pavilion dv2000/dv6000 and Compaq Presario V3000/V6000 series notebook PCs, and has also released a new BIOS for these notebook PCs, version F.39 for dv2000/V3000, and version F.3D for dv6000/V6000.

                  I contacted Hp India on phone (request no [protected]) that I am facing the similar problem as mentioned but they had no answer. Rather I am facing the problem since a long time now and have decided not to use Hp products in future and persuade people not to use Hp goods due to lack of support and no support and responsibility once they have sold the product. if there is a documented hardware issue then Hp should rectify it or replace the instrument/recall. You are letting the consumers use faulty instruments in the market and then just shrug off your shoulders saying that the warranty period is over when the hardware had an inherent defect right from the beginning.

                  I would like Hp to replace my notebook if they dont wanna loose a loyal customer and keep their motto of customer satisfaction.

                  HP/pavillion 6000 note book pc — Technical Support

                  I RECIEVED THE HARD DISK AND RECOVERY DISK. THEY SAID TO CONTACT THEM TO GO THRU THE PROCESS WITH THEM. I DID MANY TIMES, WASTED HOURS ON THE PHONE AND IT STILL IS NOT WORKING RIGHT. I HAD TO REPLACE THE MOTHER BOARD IN MARCH, 2008, BIOS DRIVE, AND HARD DISK IN FEB.2008. THEY HAD ME SEND IT TO THEM THOSE 2 TIMES. THEY DID THE RECOVERY. THIS TIME, DEC.2008, THEY SENT ME THE HARD DISK AND A RECOVERY DISK. WE WENT THRU THE RECOVERY DISK 2 TIMES ON 2 DIFFERENT LONG PHONE CALLS. THE COMPUTER STILL IS NOT WORKING RIGHT. IT WILL START UP AND THEN IT WILL SHUT DOWN ON IT'S OWN. IT WAS VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND THE PEOPLE I TALKED TO CAUSE THEY HAD A FORIEGN ACCENT.I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF THIS PROBLEM WOULD GET TAKEN CARE OF. I AM TYPING THIS COMPLAINT ON MY NEW COMPUTER I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT YESTERDAY. I STILL WANT THE HP PAVILLION 6000 NOTE BOOK FIXED, I PAID FOR A 1 YR EXTENDED WARRENTY ON IT. I EXPECT HP TO HONOR THEIR PROMISE OF THE EXTENDED WARRENTY POLICY, I DID PAY MONEY FOR THIS!

                  Hello there even i bought a Compaq Presario V3029 Au on 3/10/2006. Later on seeing a column on Hp website i figured out that it has a hardware problem of graphics card (That's why i could never get another display on Lcd T.V. and to search a solution i visited Hp website). From there i came to know that HP was replacing the graphic card for all the same series Presarioz but that offer was for a limited period. On requesting a client support executive he said "We will not keep doing it for whole life" On asking when i had my product registered with HP why i was not informed through email, This guy had no answer. Well all in all i still have this pathetic useless piece of invention which i hardly bother to use as it heats up like anything (ventilator cabin is very poor) it starts on its will and ends on same. Graphic issue with start up has been very frustating. Never expected such a filthy lag of invention from HP. I have experienced Hp support overseas (in Australia) and trust me people Hp client support in India have most rude and worthless fleet on name of client support.

                      I purchased a Compaq laptop STAPLES and they told me that camera was free with the Laptop and I believed them without noticing the * (star mark for condition apply), thought would get with Laptop at the same time but I was wrong. As I beleived the STAPLES people blindly and they were cleaver to hide the fact (or surpprise me) till biling was done that I need to pay extra 1400 bugs to get that camera......again my misery doesn't ends here I have send the DD on 13 March 2009 and still waiting for the CAMERA (Kodak Easy Share C913 Camera ) as per the redemption offer.

                        Sir,
                        I bought a Hp pavilion notebook on 6 june 2009 during the student offer. as per their instruction, i made a draft of Rs. 3999 and sent it to hp redemption support c/o innovative incentives and events pvt. ltd. scf 13 2nd floor inner market sector 7c chandigarh 110019. to claim the assured gift. but till date i haven't received it, though they said it would take only six weeks.
                        I also contacted the hp redemption and they gave me a number that does not work at all. please help. my redemption code is 7HJFSKDDVK.

                          My Laptop is under warranty. It got crashed after 5 month o[censored]se, and recovery disc didn.t work as they have provided a faulty Recovery Manager ( its proved, as a patch was released on its website), but it only allows the recovery disc to be created only once.

                          Some fault occurred in my boot loader, and then i cant boot from Recovery partion . Recovery Disc also didnt work, I immediately contacted HP customer care, they told its not in the stock, it will be within 2 weeks and asked me to contact after two weeks . Whenever I contact them they always tell me to contact after 2 weeks from past 2 1/2 months. Soon my warranty will be over within 4 months and then they will deny to provide service. So Pls take Severe action against them for following

                          1. Providing Faulty Software for Recovery
                          2. Not Providing Recovery Disc as is should be shipped, as other companies ie DELL and all provide them
                          3. For not providing adequete facility.
                          4. I am not able to use the softwares and OS for which i paid them.

                          Please take strignent measures against HP fo violating consumer rights.

                            Dear HP Team,

                            Namaste!

                            I regret to inform you that your product HP PRESARIO LT V3155 AV having a serial number 2CE70431NC needs the replacement of its hardware parts

                            in the interval of every 8 months ever since its purchase.

                            Following parts has been replaced so far since its purchase:-

                            1. Battery
                            2. Adapter
                            3. Twice the Mother Board for no display ( which is quite a usual problem of this model as per your service centre team for this model )
                            4. And now Its the Hard Disk.( all my study material data lost)

                            I ask HP do you think that a student who has spent Rs. 36, 500 has got any reason to be satisfied with such type of product?

                            I have asked the same question from Mr. Debasis Maity ( senior manager of eastern india region) who replied me that he is on leave and have forwarded me the email of Mrs. Arunima ghosh. Mrs. Arunima Ghosh has not repied my email till date.

                            I have also called at new delhi no. [protected] who have told me that an ESCALATION DEPT. will be soon approaching me which till date has not approached yet.

                            hp pavillion laptop is not good for working.. so heat while working and problems are often occuring in all parts of the laptop
                            same problem. happened with me too.

                              i have a HP Designjet 4000PS plotter which is lying non functional for want of the carriage belt on which the cartridge moves. On contacting the HP vendors at Jorhat, Kolkata and at Guwahati i am told that the part is not available locally and has to be imported from outside...Though i have offered them to pay instantly, in cash, yet they seem to have no responsibility to attend to the call.there has been no response from the HP and the non functioning of the plotter has put me in embarrasing situations many a times. It is requested that some action may please be taken.

                                when i recently started my laptop it didnt process and showed an error "BOOTMGR missing" follewed by restart command by pressing "Alt+Ctrl+Del" i restarted it again and the error occured then i conducted various tests and they were sucessfull but still it didnt start. Then i tried to change my "OS" it showed error in hard disk i was adviced to take to hp care centre . Then i again inserted an OS 2005 cd it told to boot the system by pressin Q i did it and the system started working but i still mdont know what is the problem pls advice me for this error in my notebook. Now its working and the battrey back up decreased. I clearly want to know what went wrong.

                                  Hewlett-Packard (HP) was contacted to unravel the well-contemplated cheating & fraudulence of it’s Authorized Service Centre in Kolkata, India, after it unscrupulously copied my Hard Disk data from my laptop, HP Pavilion tx1016au under official HP Care Pack Warranty extending till the year 2010. But, despite numerous correspondences, it has obstinately decided to stay mute & remained totally ignorant to its vices; so, therefore, would you please take the appropriate action.

                                  In view of the fact that they have violated the prescribed norms of not misusing data (without which I wouldn’t even have left my laptop there) and betrayed the professional regulations under which such assets are left to them for restitution purposes, and the fact that they have stolen my valuable data & further lied about it, I am levying upon them damages of Rs150 crores (Rupees one hundred and fifty crores).

                                  Would you please do the needful towards it. For your convenience, I am forwarding with this very email the entire set of one-way email correspondence I had with them.

                                  HP tx1016au — Laptop not repaired

                                  I submitted my high-end laptop tx1016au to their service center on Nov 22, 2008. They said that they are going to order some motherboard to resolve the problem.

                                  Even after 3 months, and after taking all the amount in advance besides hefty service charges, they have not got it repaired.

                                  I purchased the laptop in June 2007. The system board of this laptop had a serious deficiency due to which there were multiple problems reported at various stages. Dell recalled a complete lot of laptops due to similar problem.

                                  On the other hand, instead of recalling, HP takes hefty premium on the price of the bord, a high service fees, and after that it takes more than 3 months to get it repaired. This when the shelf life of a high tech product is less than 2 years as new software arrives which require more advanced hardware.

                                  What will I do with this crap, when I get it back after 6 months; after having spent more than Rs. 1 lakhs on it.

                                  Hewlett-Packard (HP) — Laptop not repaired by service center with-in warranty period

                                  I have bought my laptop on 3rd September 2009 and due to some fault in the laptop I send it to HP service centre (Clifx Gurgaon) on 30th Aug. 2010 which was under the warranty period. After 25 days the service centre people asked for the invoice of the laptop. Which I have given to those people and after that they are saying that the Laptop will be repaired at half price or I take back my laptop & handover the call report to him. That means I have to bear half the amount. It has taken at least 4 months to repair the laptop. For your ref. I am attaching laptop invoice & service call report.

                                    i bought a notebook from them. they told me it is under 1year warrenty. it is giving my repeated problems. even now it is more than 15 days since it is with dem. these people are cheaters. they outsourced it to someone rtoutsourcing who just plays with it. even the customer care [protected] is ridiculous. they disconnect the call when i complain. i never receive the promised callbacks. even there are people who deny to escalate my matter to higher authorities. today whole day i dialled the bangluru complained number given in the receipt by service centre but no one picked up. even the managers (jitender and rajender raina) did not escalate the matter further. they say there is no nodal office or any regulatory body. as if they are autonomous. i hope people will join me in the campaign against them. my complint id from service centre is 7074_[protected]

                                    i have brought compaq presario with assured gift of 10.2mega pixel camera i also received an comfirmation emal from the company but when i sent the draft of rs1299/- as this for delivery and handiling charges but till i have and received and gift and no reply form the company and also the customer care no an audio cassetes keep on playing such cheters i havent seen in my life. later i came to know the many people that they intent to this and they make people fool in many ways..how an international with good reputated company do this kind of stupid servieces do you have any idea to make this pay a price price...
                                    i bought a notebook in coimbatore emerald infosys...at august 2008. from bought itself problem in that..but the dealer is not responding to that..didnot give any idea for the maintanance too...

                                      I bought HP Deskjet F4288 All-in-0ne printer Sno CB[protected] on 5-3-2009 for Rs. 3850. The two 818 ink cartridges black and tricolour given with the printer produced about 30 pages before it emptied out as against HP's claim that 168 pages would be give. Complained, chatted with rep and he could not identify any fault.
                                      Therefore on his say I ordered new set of cartridges for Rs 1800/- . The black ink emptied out after 10 pages
                                      as I use only black print. Hence I sent a complaint to HP. After hearing my complaint I was asked what I wanted to do. The least they could do was to show that 168 pages can be printed as claimed. The company
                                      is indulging in malpractice by selling their printer cheap and hiking up ink renewing costs. This is the second time for Epson did the same and replaced it with HP on the common view that it is company that follows fair practices. I have bought a third black ink cartridge today for 815/- and am afraid it would run out after printing 10 normal pages of text.

                                      These companies must be made accountable.

                                      HP — HP Printer cheated

                                      I Have brough a HP Colour Laser Print 2605 on Feb 2008. and i have a problem in printer on 20th October 2008. and i have lodged a complaint and they came on November 3rd and they told there is some problem in printer we will replace a new printer and they came on November last week and they replaced the printer which was old and physically damaged also. And the executive have told me that this is new priter and he cheated and gone. but by taking the test print i came to know that this printer they have taken already 4300 copies of print. but in my printer i have taken only 400 sheets and i have complain within half an hour to them. and i ask the manager he telling like that only they replace the printer. i asked my old printer itself he told that we cant give the old printer. but my warranty will be over within 2 months the printer they have given is already physically damaged also.
                                      'Hi Sri, efficient ink usage is not about the type of cartridge be it (individual or tri-colour), but rather about the design and performance of the printing system. I encountered this msg on a forum stating,

                                      I also bought the same printer F4288. And to my surprise the Black cartridge got empty in just 35 pages. On contacting i was told it is an introductory cartridge with new printer and it will not give the full 168 pages as claimed by company.So i bought a new black cartridge at Rs 750 from local dealer. And this one ran out in 55 pages nearly 1/3 rd of what Hp was claiming and on contacting i was told that the cartridge output depends on individual use and Hp only gives estimated pages.But I only used the cartridge for text printing and nothing else still such a low ouput.

                                      Hp is giving printer cheap but making the regular use expensive as cartridge cost is very high.. I had buyed this printer going for Hp brand value and reliability. Now i regret i should has buyed cannon MP145 which was better in print quality and gives higher print pages and was cheaper too.


                                      Also i noticed somethng that the HP818 Cartridges only come in India (i may be wrong). Because you can't find this cartridge anywhere else in world websites. So i think only HP India i cheating people in this cartridge scandal.

                                      I am now refilling these cartridge as buying them again and again is very expensive considering the print output.

                                      In the end i would say

                                      GO FOR Cannon MP145 which is cheaper than this printer and better in terms of overall package.

                                      ALL of you guys are quite right that HP is becoming a bu*lsh*t company. They are soon gonna be out of the market if Cannor or Epson are going to improve their product and service a little better, just little better. HP has inserted Time duration limit of Cartridges, Page printing quantity limit as they have used some kind of memory storage in printers, which monitors cartridges' serial numbers and date of manufacturing. My F4288 is causing color printing problems and I had just printed 3 or 4 color text pages when I bought my printer, since then I tried to print after 6 or 7 months later, now printer shows 3/4 level of ink and when I try to Print colour page; it stops suddenly and shows that color cartridge is empty. Moreover, by observing the cratridges, the ink flow is perfect and Most importantly that cartridge worked fine in my office printer. This show that HP is gonna get out of the market soon as they are practising inferior trade practices

                                      i have purchase a h.p. printer photo smart B 209A all in one. date of purchasing 21.8.2010.

                                      sir the quality of photo very vast (poor) and leakage ink very fast within three week i have change caritage (ink) two time. i had been register's complaint many time in H.P printer service center but no body solved my problem. h.p engineer came home to see printer but does not solved problem after this instant engineer and h.p officer cannot received my phone also not answering in e-mail. hp photo smart B209A totally fail printer . when i was ask costumer care of h.p. before purchase printer he said number of printing paper is very large as compared to any other printer and i believe it to purchase pinter.
                                      At last i have purchase epson printer it very good quality printer as compared to h.p.

                                      New 818 cartridges for Hp 4288 give only 30 to 35 pages as against any of the company's tall claims. Black is much worse, it lasted for only 15 pages in my case. It is all great cheating. There should be a way to legally catch them and penalize for the mischief. Someone will find it one day or other. One can safely assume that Customer Care Center is full of staff with fake degrees and fake certificates, since they know nothing. Try them and you will get all funny evading replies!

                                      I also was foolish enough to buy this HP F4288. I am continuing to get problems with my cartridges. The problem is that the original hp cartrideges gives me only about 10 - 15 pages and then the cartridge ink levels start blinking indicating that the cartridges are empty and it refuses to print anything. This after I spent around Rs. 1000/- for the cartridges. Now having this printer is totally useless as hp cannot expect me to spend Rs. 1000/- to print only 10-15 pages. This is a scam. I advise people to please stay away from all types of hp products. The company is already in trouble in the US and I wish they go bankrupt soon. Serves them right, for they are fleecing, cheating, and defrauding people with exorbitantly priced cartridges and very poor print productivity. Soon it shall be RIP hp.

                                      I am also having hp f4288 printer. It has worked well for 2 years and is also working well for black ink cartridge but now it is not recognising colour cartridge means no colour cartridge available. I thought cartridge has some problem and I brought new one and inserted it but the same problem. I have tried all the solutions provided by hp in user manual but no remedy is there. Now I am doing with only black ink. no response from hp as its service centres are located in big cities and to send bulky printer to sc is a problem. I don't know about canon and other manufacturers regarding service availability. But it is sure that HP is not proper company to consider for its products.
                                      Sir, I purchased HP F 4288 printer. But its cartridges are very costly and gives service not as per the Co. assurances this is the totally fake and having big scam in selling of HP cartridges. Some one has to solve this problem and give justice to HP users. any alteration is possible to fix ink bottles to this model so that these bottles will lost longer time and print thousands of copies, like epson printers.
