dear sir/madam,
I purchased a HP-Pavilion DV-4 1400 note book from Bhopal, (Home comforts). That time there was a gift of 22" LCD TV of vediocon for the demand draft of Rs. 9000. But after the completion of more than 2.5 moths i did not get the gift nor any information about it.
I got only a message on 8th march that my gift will be dispatched on 12th of march, and after that time once i called redemption cell Delhi to confirm than a customer care executive told me that the gift will be sent through BLUE DART courier service. due to nonavailability of courier service at my place i send you my new address of Bhopal, but now when i am calling to your office i am unable to talk with any guy.
I want to know the docket no of my courier to receive and know the status my gift. Please do reply soon for my request.

    I have deposited the Laptop to the HP service centre in kolkata, loudan street. They refuse to change the LCD and ask for Rs27589/- for change of LCD of Laptop. They regect to change on the ground that the lcd is broken. When I ask for Technical Evaluation report that the crack is physical damage or not they cant provide the report. The LCD is Crack but from the top no liquid is come out and the laptopis working properly only a scrach is coming on the lower portion. Now suggest me the measure to change the LCD of my laptop.

      i had purchased COMPAQ Computer in the month of December & at that
      time there was announcement of that company that you will give Printer
      as a SCHEME to that purchases, accordingly i had sent DD of RS.999/-
      for the same but by mistake company had sent me MP3PLAYER & after
      telephonic talk with company office member i had sent back that MP3PLAYER to thew company but till date i have not received PRINTER from that company as per PROMISE .

        My printer is showing error message:"Ink system failure"---although I have installed refilled ink cartridges.
        I bought this printer from Computer House, 4, G.C.Avenue on 19/03/08.
        Banerjee, I suggest you purchase a new original HP ink cartridge rather than using refillable ones. A recent independent study commissioned by HP revealed Original HP Inks give 2.4 times more prints than refills, as refillable cartridges tested were either Dead On Arrival or failed prematurely.           replasment of charger under warranty

          I had bought laptop of Hp of dv5 series having product no:FZ728PA#ACJ, SERIAL NO: CNF83516K3 from home town Lucknow in October 2008. The charger(CT NO:W97930FA9VMCRM) was not Working since May 09. My son had consulted from Bareilly service center where he was studying. They had said that both no of the respective laptop and charger are not matching. So the charger couldn't be replaced even under the warranty period. Later on i consulted...

          Dear sir, we have purchased HP Compaq Pressario Desktop 3570IL from your dealer IT Mart, Thane, Maharashtra, on 20th January 2009. As per your offer we have not yet got the gift of HP all in one F4288 printrer and HP600VA UPS, as we have already sent the DD of Rs. 999/- from State Bank of India, Thane(DD No. 991118), along with necessary documents. Our redemtion code no.FLAX5VA51P. File no. 68777.
          As per your promise within 45 days we should have got the above said gift. But we have not yet got any kind of reply or message from your side, as we have many times tried to contact with you. but no response from you.             Hi,

            I purchased HP Pavilion dv5000tx Notebook in 2007 and I was not using it often at that time. However, my usage has increased now and strangely, the Notebook starting exposing defects. It would overheat and then shutdown abruptly. I know that it doesn't have anything to do from my end and I am also aware that this appears to be a common problem with HP Notebooks.

            The question I have is "Can I file a complaint in the Consumer Forum citing intrinsic defects with the Notebook even though it is out of warranty?".

              I purchased a brand new sealed Hewlett-Packard printer, Deskjet F 4288 All in One and found that the ink cartridge stopped printing. When complained to the shop keeper at Jabalpur as well as to the call center of HP, they flatly told me that the ink cartridges, both colored and black & white are only demo cartridges, and would not print more than 10-12 copies. New Cartridges, he claimed will cost 850/- and 750/- amounting to Rs 1600 for a printer which costs Rs 3600/-. When asked why this fact that actualy the printer costs Rs 3800 plus 1600 = Rs 5, 400 was not told, he flatly told they flatly donot tell this fact because then the customers donot buy.

              Must a company like Hewlett-Packard be allowed to outright cheat and play frauds with thousands of customers buying these printers every day throughout India ?

              I had to shell our Rs 1600 to buy the two cartridges, and for this outright cheating and mental torture and harassment in withheld business documents, and running around, I want the Hewlett-Packard be penalised and must not be allowed to sell these printers with demo cartridges, Let the company talk to me, else I shall be filing a court case for cheating, fraud on largest scale played daringly and openly with the public.

              Further, it must be noted when I buy a new cartridge and when i goes to refill it, when i broke the seal i was shocked to see that there is a hole of a syringe which is used to refill the cartridge. My question is here again is that when i have purchase a new cartridge how a hole should be there?

              I again called the customer care about this issue but they r not ready to accept this fact?? I am really disappointed with such a ""so called"" World Class Company.

              Nowonwards, Hewlett-Packard must sell these printers with regular cartridges, at whatever price they wish to fix, and not mislead and play frauds with the public at large.

              Hewlett-Packard — Open Frauds in Ink Cartridges by Hewlett-Packard

I want to return the Printer, the shop keeper flatly refused not to take back a broken sealed and worked computer at whatever the rate.

              I had to shell our Rs 1600 to buy the two cartridges, and for this outright cheating and mental torture and harassment in withheld business documents, and running around, I want the Hewlett-Packard be penalised and must not be allowed to sell these printers with demo cartridges, and a penality of 10 times the fraud played, of Rs 5, 000 = equal to Rs 52, 000 be awarded to me. Let the company talk to me, else I shall be filing a court case for cheating, fraud on largest scale played daringly and openly with the public.

              I have similar experience.The ink in my case has printed 20 copies only.I feel HP need to look in the complaint lest they are challenged in the consumer court.I switched to HP DeskjetF4288 while I had planned to purchase other make on the recommendation of the Retail shop AND hp reputation.I hope HP is reading the complaint and will take action to replace the Printer with some other proven product.I am waiting to hear from HP.
              I have purchased HP F 4288. Printer is rejecting re- filled cartridges & new one costs heaven. 818 B costs Rs399/- & prints only 40- 50 pages.
              HP is cheat company.

                Dear Sir,
                My child was admitted into a school which insisted on Children purchasing high end note books at a cost of $59, 000.00.When I as a parent objected, I was told that it was a school decision.The lap top in question is I understand one for commercial use.I was also told that the note book had a total warranty.
                My child has discovered that there were some scratches on the lap top and there is a disconnect between the panel and the key board and I am told by HP service centre (Outsourced) that given that there is some physical damage to the panel, it will have to be replaced at my cost-being in the order of Rs 15000-20, 000.(the note book is barely 8 months old)
                I was also told by the engineer that he would try and give me a phycal damage warranty and thus have it repaired under the new warranty.When questioned as to the fraud angle, I was told it is common practice.
                I happen to be a chartered Accountant (albeit qualified in England and Wales) and respectfully suggested to him that I could not be a party to this sort of practice.
                My greivance against HP is that they willfully sold highend computers to school children and that they should have ensured that the warranty suited the use .
                I firmly beleive that these very knowledgable companies should ensure that they sell the best possible least expensive product to school children and not exploit them.
                Incidently and Ironically, when in employment in north america i had to sign off on JVs on the reliability of HP as a partner for back office service centres that my large bank employer was setting up.
                I, with my knowledge of HP given what I have had to suffer would be very reluctant to have them as a partner.
                HP sells High end computers to Children and their out source company SIMTECH Computronics Pvt Ltd makes a fortune on repairs.
                Beware of HP please parents who are not tech savy as you will pay 100% more than the cost of purchase in repairs.
                In my child’s case the charge was Rs 19518/- for replacing a damaged display screen.
                When I enquiring about the cost on the market I was told that it was Rs 8000/-
                I wish to bring to this scam to the attention of all parents to ensure that they purchase low cost computers(prefabaly not HP-disregard their Ad displaying hardy laptops as it is a gimmick to lure you) and ensure that the warranty covers accidental damage.
                Incidently on enquiring if HP gives you accidental warranty, I was told by Hewlett Packards Outsourcing agents SIMTECH Computronics Pvt Ltd that the cost would be rs 10, 000/ per annum.
                In my case HP deliberately through their out source company SIMTECH Computronics Pvt Ltd took almost a month to diagnose and repair my sons laptop and the repair cost could have very easily purchased an excellent Toshiba, Lenovo or Acer computer.
                I am attaching the invoice as proof to all parents. And strongly suggest that you get expert opinion before you touch an HP product

                    HP Compaq — HP Compaq

                    I wanted to say that HP Compaq is a a great laptop computer i have been using it for years now but it does sometimes shows some difficulties. the computer started being slow after seven months and the batterie life is really short it says two hours but i think it last probably about forty five minutes. the webcam is great very convinient and clear the mic is working perfectly. the keyboard is absolutely convienient for typing. it has multiple features software like microsoft word that is really pleasant i use it most of the time for my resume cover letter and all others typing purposes; the excel software work perfectly i use it for my inventory, creating spreadsheet, putting graph, charts and others things like balancing my numbers. excel does for me all the calculating stuff i need to do in my computer, or caculates my budget for me. there is also powerpoint which is fantastic for presentation or speeches. and it is acer inspire not intel. I would like to buy HP Compaq Laptop if ?

                      I have a hp pavilion dv 2701tx laptop. After seven months o[censored]se i had a display problem and i was told by the service center people that the mother board needs to be replaced and it will take a week time. But even after 20 days i had no response from service centre. When i asked them they said part not available. Than when i received the laptop after 25 days it had a compaq motherboard inside. They said it is not a issue the motherboard is compatible. When i checked my system my nvidia inbuilt graphics card was not to be seen, mute button not working, recovery not working etc. They still compelled the system is fine reinstalling OS will solve the issues. The service center is located in salem (tamilnadu, india). I took the laptop back to my home at gujrat. I reinstalled the OS but problems were not solved. Again i gave it for repair at salem service center, they replaced the motherboard again but this time it had nvidia but with 64mb memory. I initially had 128 mb graphics card. The mute button and recovery was still not working. All these replacements took about four months and uncountable trips to service center. Than finally i took the laptop to ahemdabad (gujrat) gave it over there and they replaced the motherboard correctly but now my fingerprint reader and webcam is not working. The system hibernates automatically often. Even launching a complain on hp.com is worthless as they will call the next day and thats all they will never call back. So five months of warranty was wasted in repairs and now i am really frustrated and annoyed with hp. I thought of filing a consumer case but no time...if anybody can help pls mail...([protected]@gmail.com)...ph-[protected]

                        I had purchased the subject HP Desktop Model Presario 3670IL on 27th February, 2009 from
                        Checkmate Computers Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai -400 092.

                        Though it is more than 3 months, I have still not received the free gifts viz.HP Alli One Printer (F4288)
                        + UPS till date though I was informed that the gifts will be received witin 6-8 weeks.

                        The processing chares of Rs. 999/- was paid by me through cheque which was been debited to my account.

                        I received an SMS indicating the File No. as 96601 and that it is under process.

Thenafter I received s SMS that vide ducket number[protected] my printer has been despatched vide ELBEE courier. After 17 days I have track the status of my consignment on internet then I was surprised to saw it that printer was delivered. Thenafter 4 days of it a person from courier company came to me for delivery of above printer. I found that printer was damaged then I call to HP redemption centre, chandigarh on phone number [protected] but could not contacted thenafter I call to ELBEE customer care mumbai on phone number [protected] in presence of that person they said to me to return the printer and fress printer will be delivered.
                        Sir, I would also like to draw your notice tat after 2 days of above circumstance I received call from ELBEE courier from Bhopal office from phone number [protected] to received the above damaged printer and they also told to me to pay a lump sum of Rs. 300/- to courier man. Sir, It is fault of courier company to mishandle the item and why I will pay any 300/- to courier company to receive above damaged printer.
                        Sir, there is a goodwill and reputation of HP company and Elbee courier company bleming all the fault and responsibility on HP, they also told that HP has despatched damaged printer, sir it is prove of fraudness of Elbee that without delivery of above printer the status was displated on internet that printer was delivered.
                        Therefore you are requested to to kindly arrange to send my above gift printer in OK condition and courier except than Elbee.

                            I would like to inform you about the gas regulator which is not operated properly as while installing new cylinder connection the gas likes heavily once it is put on. Even after repeated complains about this matter the the technicians just attend it and replaces some parts (brass valves etc.) charges heavy bills and rectifies it temporarily and again same problem continues next time.It is therefore requested to replace the regulator which is faulty.

                              But service center does not mean three working days actually.                               HP/nx7300 — NO PARTS ????

                              Hi,

                              It is very unfortunate that i am writing a complaint to one of my favourite companies.
                              But i must bring this to your notice that the kind of response i got from your service centers is heart breaking.

                              I own a nx7300 GM 665 PC, serial no. CNU7191X94. Being a part of the bulk purchase by ICFAI hyderabad, i understand it is not a commercial model. The LCD base cracked and ripped out on basic usage of open and close i was told that many complaints & replacements have been made for this model.

                              On 28th Feb. 2009, i deposited my system (without the hard disk and power cable) for LCD replacement at a HP authorized service center - R.T Outsourcing Services Ltd. at Chandigarh. As the extended warranty lasts in March 2010, they accepted it and gave me a time period of 3 to 4 days.
                              [SERVICE CENTER CASE LOG - Application No. 2825]

                              It is 14th march and i am going to Hong Kong in 2 weeks. Everyday i keep getting a message from them saying the part is not available. My query is that its 15 days and how much time does a part take to be shipped even if its at the remote most place?

                              Kindly look into the matter because the only response i get from the service center is that they are waiting for the part. Please don't change my perception about the Brand you hold, and force me to phase out the idea of buying an HP in future.

                              HP Compaq Nx7300 — INEFFICIENCY at HP at its HEIGHT

                              Take this seriously, failing which HP might be in trouble. Many problems or say compliments for the entire HP TEAM:

                              1. My laptop's (NX7300) power strip buttons aren't working fine. There is a problem when I make my laptop on sleep/hibernation. The display screen goes black but the laptop is still working. So everytime I have to shut it down.
                              2. CD drive works intermediately. Sometimes it detects the CD and sometimes not. Even when the CD is detected, it doesn't work on my laptop, though it is working fine on others'.

                              I am currently in Hyderabad. I went to HP's Somaji Guda office in Hyd., registered a complaint with the authority on 27th June, Saturday, for the aforementioned problem. They promised to return my notebook on 30th June, Tuesday. On 30th June, when I rang them up in the evening I got to hear that nothing has been done on my laptop and they are waiting for some new parts to come to their office from Bangalore and they will return back my laptop latest by 1st July.

                              Though I was in urgent need of my notebook, I still gave them a day more to resolve the problem thinking it would be done properly this time. On 1st July I had to catch up with my friends for Coorg (a hill-station in Karnataka) which the authority was well-informed of.

                              I called up the same office at around 12 noon and what I got to hear was: "SIR, WE HAVEN'T YET WORKED ON YOUR PROBLEM. THE PARTS WHICH WE RECEIVED WERE DEFECTED. WE HAVE REQUESTED FOR A NEW MOTHER-BOARD FOR YOUR LAPTOP AS WE JUST NOW FOUND OUT THAT YOUR LAPTOP'S MOTHER-BOARD IS CORRUPT. IT WILL TAKE US ANOTHER 2-3 WORKING DAYS."

                              Hearing this I gave a hard knock to the call-receiver and then she immediately promised me to deliver my laptop latest by the day's end. After an hour only a lady called me up from the HP centre saying that the problem has been resolved and they have replaced the mother-board also. I told them that I will collect it at around 7 pm.

                              When I went to the service centre, the person who addressed my complaint was in so much hurry that he wasn't even allowing me to check whether the problem has been resolved or not. He asked me to hurry up since the office hours are over, even though officially the closing time is 8 pm. I found something suspicious and switched on my laptop. I found out that nothing has been done and the problem is still there. When I told him this thing, he said that the technician has gone and nothing can be done now. At last I had to shout at him and then he went in some technical room to ask about the problem from some engineer. Again he made me wait for around 20 mins even when he knew that I was getting late. Forcibly I had to enter that engineer's room to see what is going in over there.

                              At last from that engineer I got to know that nothing has been done on my laptop, CD drive problem hasn’t been addressed and the mother-board is still the same. I asked those people to make me contact their Manager. They didn’t tell me his name and said that he is not in office right now. But somehow I found out that the Manager was sitting in the next room. I thought atleast he would consider my problem but again NO RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER’S PROBLEM.

                              He was acting very lethargic and so involved in his own work that even when I told him the entire stuff and showed him the problem, he didn’t take it seriously, instead was backing his office people by saying that the problem will be resolved only if I cooperate and give them 2-3 days more. He hardly seemed to be interested in what has actually happened. Thinking of lodging a complaint for what has happened, I asked him to name the technician, the man who attended me in person and the lady who called me up in the evening.
                              The manager, Mr. K. SRINIVAS refused to divulge the names even after asking for it 10 times. From the security guard I got to know that the technician’s name is Mr. Manoj and the lady who called me up is either Miss GEETA or Miss JOSHNA. After all this I had to walk out of your service centre empty-handed. And just because of this I couldn’t go with my friends and I had to miss some of my office meetings so that I could collect my laptop on time.
                              Please do make up for the losses and the inconvenience caused to me by your people asap. Either my problem should be addressed within a day or I will have to take some serious action against the company which I am well-capable of.

                              HP Service Center — too much delay

                              I went to hp center to replace my hard disk.they said it will take 4 to 5 day and 4700rs to replacey hard disk in exchange.they said they will call me when my hard disk is avilable again.but i didnt get and any call after week.so i called them they said i will take to or 3 days more so again i called them after that but they didnt answer.so after 2 weeks i demanded my faulty hard disk from them ,they returned it and told me again me they can replace in two days i didnt trusted them again and recievedmy hard diskback from them .I got relaced my hard disk from hp deler in just 10 minutes for hust 3000 rs.
                              so i got a conclusion from this that they charge extra money from costumer and waste there time

                                  not supporting windows7.That time notebook have only 1 issue with the FAN.But unfortunately team leader(SC) denied to service

                                  my notebook.After a month i visit again to SC then SC people said to me to install Windows 7 now we are supporting Win7.

                                  On[protected] i was submitted my notebook to same SC and they told me we will update you on after 2 days. but no update.

                                  I regularly visit to SC bt no update.

                                  After 5 days they only diagnose and tell me that we requested for three parts(Webcam, Fan, DVD writter).and said after 2 or 3 days

                                  we will replace ur part.After 3 days i vist again to SC then they said we haven't recieved any part fron HP.I regularly visit to SC

                                  but none of the part recieved from SC.Team leader of RT Outsourcing (vikas mann) said i dont know anything HP knows about parts.

                                  On[protected] i took back my notebook in the same condition and they said part is not available in India. After that i regularly visited to service center.

                                  On 15 or 16 feb 2010 my notebook fan has been replaced by the service center. On[protected] i got a call frm updation team named(Suparna) she uapdate me to

                                  part is still on waiting when i recieved the part i will call you back. Then i asked how much time it will take, she said it will take 2-3 days she said part is shipped frm

                                  banglore. And she also told parts was recived and already fix on ur laptop but the parts not working properly i confirm with the (Suparna) she said i m sure but the main

                                  problem is that my notebook is still with me at my home because i already mentioned i taken back my notebook on[protected] so how is it possible to fix on my notebook

                                  that means wrong commitment and wrong updation given to customer from the huge and famous firm HP. On the same day i visit again to service center to ask about parts

                                  service center said i haven't recieved any part from HP. After a long discussion service center said we will replace your DVD writter today itself. Then I call to CCC banglore they said

                                  only 2 parts are ordered by the service center and the 3 part(DVD writter) ordered 5 min before. And the service center people told me your all 3 parts ordered but we haven't recieved.

                                  So tell me what is this who is wrong customer, service center people or HP tell me and clear me. On[protected] i again visit to service center and they replaced my notebook DVD writter.

                                  But still no idea about webcam how much it will take... they said part is not available in any country.so how we can replace ur notebook part they said you need to wait for it.

                                  I am still waiting my some important work still stop without WEBCAM . So tell me the TAT (exact date).Or i have to used my notebook without my WEBCAM. Or if you all people not able to replace

                                  my notebook WEBCAM then take back my laptop and replace the whole unit. So please do it ASAP. And tell me what i have to do after this.

                                  That means i m wrong to purchase ur HP product.If you dont have parts so whats my fault.I i am still working with faulty part of my notebook with too much difficulty.

                                  Now SC dont have any idea about when parts come and my notebook part replace.Tell me the exact date.Or otherwise replace my whole notebook ASAP.

                                  Or otherwise give me the warranty compensation till the all part replaced from the date of submitted.
