    Hi

    I have made a purchase of new HP Pavillion dv2918TX laptop on 31st dec 2008.

    I was told that Phillips 5.1 home theater will be given for free and for handling charges I have to send DD of Rs 1500 to HP Redemption cell. I have already sent all th required documents and I didn not receive any confirmation or any communication.

    I was given redemption code - XQSKPEV6NI.

    Whom should I contact to know the status?? This is really bad on part of HP to do such a worse consumer services.

    I have purchased HP PAVILLIAN ENTR.PC in2007 April with Windows Vista.In addition to routine compatibility problems the Battery shows 0% STATUS whle the pc has hardly been used.I feel cheated, after having purchased the stuff at ver high price.
    Could you pl check for any defects in the battery.Has H P any compensation plans for Vista users

    I have purchased a H.P laptop model DV6846TX on 31.12.08. With the purchase a free gift of PHILIPS HOME THETRE was to be supplied. For the gift the registration was required to be done on hp promotion website. I did the registration part and got the confirmation on my mail that the PHILIPS HOME THETRE will be supplied on sending some documents and a demend draft or at par cheque of Rs. 1499/-. I had sent all the required documents and the at par cheque of Rs. 1499 in the first week of january which was duly received by them on 15th of january. A redemption D23TVR9GW7 code was also given to me on the same mail to claim the gift.they would take 6 weeks to process any request, but still i haven't recieved my philips home thetere till date i, e, on 1st of april 2009 or any acknowledgment message from their side and it has been almost 15 weeks since i have, i had send all the mentioned document and and at par cheque of rs 1499 to them, and i have tried HP redemtion cell phone no.[protected] several times over phone on enquiry over telephone severel times they say you will receive the gift in 15 days but the 15 never comes back after that 15 days i again call back they says that more 15 days, it seems they are joking with me, more ever when I call they says that they will call back within 2 working days but they didn’t call back and moreover I had send many mails but there is no reply of mail, All these information has been verbal only . They will not intimate this change in status in writting. It seems that HP compaq people are doing only fraud not intending to give the free gift. If they cannot provide the free gift they should shamelessly accept this. They are only cheating the customers. Kindly take up the matter with the concerned company.


    So, sir kindly look in this matter, I am afraid of being cheated by such a big company

        My os is nit responding ang when i try to format it to the factory setting from doskor hard drive, it progress up to 35% and then displays an error with code 0x[protected] and prompts to contact hp support

        This error means two things, either BAD HDD or The HDD Needs to be retattooed for the system, if you enter your BIOS and run an HDD test and it passes, you are going to have to return the system to the manufacturer to be retattooed
        I was having same problem with a Pavilion A6200N after searching the web for a solution I noticed that most people were guessing at a bad HDD or DISK SET.
        I knew the disks were good so on a hunch I disconnected the SATA DVDRW drive that came with the unit and connected an IDE DVD-ROM drive and retried the recovery disks. IT WORKED!!!
        I don't know if the drive I unhooked was getting weak or the unit was having problems because it was a SATA drive but I wanted to share my fix and hope it helps someone else out there.

AND THE NAME OF THE GAS SERVICE IS RAMAN GAS SERVICE IN MEERUT THE ADDRESS OF THE SUPPLIER IS C-11, METRO PLAZA DELHI ROAD MEERUT, UTTAR PRADESH.
          My refill booking was accepted on 2/2/12 and until today 21/2/12 I have not received any refill. What causes concern is that I have received an sms today saying refill delivered. It has obviously been delivered to someone else!

            i have bought hp laptop some one and a half years ago from my college which had arranged from some dealor who came to our campus.they provided me 2 yr onsite warranty.nw my laptop charger is not working, i showed it to hp service center hp refused to replace it free of cost saying they give 1 yr warranty and its over but since i was given 2 yrs warranty by th dealor then he should do it for me but he has given me someone else number to talk. now i dont understand is it my duty to call so many people and talk about my problem, is it not the dealor's duty to solve the problem for me. iam annoyed very much and really harrased mentally. i want please someone help me out . iam without my charger since 2 months.

              I have done everything as per the rules as of how to redeem the gift of the Phillips 5.1 home theatre after buying a Laptop from Nehru Place, New Delhi but i havnt recieved the gift yet. So i would like to know what is holding up the gift and why is that the gift arent being delivered in time. Looking forward for your reply and feedback.

              About 10 days back I bought Philips 5.1 Home theatre from the shop named 'NEXT' on Poud Road, Pune, Maharashtra. At the time of buying it the salesmen couldn't find its remote controll. As I needed it badly for a party at my residence in the evening I told them to serch for it and give me after 2-3 days. They told me if they couldn't find it they will get a spare one from the Company [Philips] but I will have to pay for it extra Rs 150/-. Being in need and as I liked the system I made full payment and collected the system. After 2 days when I went to the shop they told me that they couldn't procure it and asked me to talk to the representative of the Company when he visits my residence to show the demo. Accordingly when the Companie's representative Mr. Yogesh Dabi called me on phone to fix the appointment for demo I told him about the non receipt of the remot. He told me that I can get it for Rs 300/- I was little shocked for the amount was increased from 150 to 300/- But even then I agreed and asked him to bring one. When he came he had not brought the remote. He told me that I will have to pay Rs 550/- for the remote. I reminded him about the earlier prise he had told me and the prise according to the sales man of the shop 'NEXT'. But he was very rude and careless. I told him to talk to me properly considering the emage of the Company he was representating. But he didn't pay any heed. Withour remote the radio in the system can not be played and he couldn't show me how to operate it. He gave me information about some buttens on the system that was very basic and I already new it. While telling the information his attitude towards me was very insulting as if I am a fool. [I am a practicing lawyer] His entire behaviour was as if he was forced to come to me and he was reluctant to do everything. Finally he ordered me to take the remote from the shop only if I can not afford to pay Rs 550/- I told him that his overall approch and language is not proper and I will complain about all this to your Company. This did not deter him a bit. He said 'do whatever you want to do. My name is Yogesh Dabi-write it in your complaint and send the copy of the mail to me as well' and then he left.
              My complaint hear is not about the non receipt of Remote. My complaint is against your arrogant-careless and reluctant representative 'Yogesh Dabi' of your esteemed company who is not a bit careful about the emage of the Company before its coustemers. I think he is useless for the job for which you have appointed him. Waiting for reply from your side.

              hp/laptop — Non receipt of offered home theatre(PHILIPS)

              Dear Sir/ Madam,

              I purchased HP laptop (serial no. CND8442MJT, date of Purchase:-1912009, redemption Code:-GT147T4LUB) after going through the offer (complementary Philips Home theatre). As of now, I have not received the Philips Home theatre for which I was assured long time back.

              Now the response I am getting from HP is unexpected. People from the company are mailing me the details of courier delivery for the consignment instead of taking action against the process.

                Please find below the mail communication with Hewlett Packard India Pvt. Ltd. which is self explainatory.

                We are being following up with HP for a Officejet Pro L7580 All-in-One Printer for one of our clients complaint but to no avail.

                I wish to inform you that I have purchased a laptop i.e. COMPAQ PRESARIO V6211-AU (Serial No. CNF713339F, Product No. RZ897PA) from you authorized distributor (Saviks Distributors, A-4 Butler Plaza, Civil Lines, Bareilly (U.P.), Invoice No. 911) on 23.05.2007.

                The Laptop started showing serious problems since after 4-5 months from the date of purchase. Every time there is a problem with the mother board or system board of the laptop. Till now its mother board has been replaced 3 times and this would be the fourth time the system board is needed to get replaced.

                My Laptop is waiting for the same part for the period of more than 45 days at the Service Centre at Bareilly (R.T. Outsourcing Ltd. 147-A, Civil Lines, Near ICICI Bank, Bareilly). There is always the same feed back from the Service Centre ‘PART NOT AVAILABLE’. 45 Days passed and part still not available. Every time when my laptop goes to service centre it takes at least 30 days and at most NO LIMIT. Every time it comes from Service Centre it works properly for just a month or two and not more than that.

                This case is not an ordinary case and I strongly feel there is some manufacturing defect in the Laptop I have purchased as its System Board always needs replacement after every 2 or 3 months.

                I have already made lots of complaints in the Service Centre, Technical Support Engineer (at customer care), and Channel Manager in Lucknow Mr.Ashish Mishra, Service Coordinator Mr. Santokh Singh but shockingly my problem was not entertained anywhere in this big and trusted Brand’s organization.

                Let me inform you that I have already sent an e-mail earlier (through customer complaints section of Hp website) but like always it wasn’t taken seriously.

                HP — most poorest defective computer

                I BOUGHT SF2700DX BUSINESS COMPUTER OF HP ON 28.03.07 FROM AMBALA CANTT AFTER ADVISE FROM HP TOLL FREE CUSTOMER CARE.JUST IN LESS THAN ONE MONTH OF PURCHASE THE DEFECT AROSE AND CO RECTIFIED AND SINCE THEN TILL DATE THERE ARE OVER 14 DEFECTS ATTENDED BY THE CO'S AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE IN KARNAL AND NOW THE COMPUTER IS AGAIN LYING DEAD FOR THE WANT OF ANOTHER MOTHER(BOARD) BUT THE SO BIG AND REPUTED CO.HP IS NOT AT ALL HAVING ANY SHAME OF REFUNDING THE COMPUTER OR TOOK TROUBLE OF REPLACING THE COMPUTER!
                NOW ITS BEEN DECIDED TO SEEK REDRESSAL THROUGH CONSUMER FORUM WITH FULL PRICE PAID OF Rs34200+18% INTEREST+DAMAGES FOR EXTREME MENTAL BOTHERATIONS+COSTS FOR USING MOBILE/NET FOR COMPLAINTS+COMPENSATION FOR BEFOOLING PRACTICES AND FOR DEPRIVING O[censored]SAGE DURING REPAIRS ETC.
                THIS IS A MATTER OF GREAT SURPRISE THAT SO BIG COMPANIES ARE SO MUCH SHAMELESS AND HAVE NO IMPACT OF ANYTHING SAID BY THE AGGRIEVED USERS UNLESS HAVE BIG NEWS IN PRESS WITH HEAVY PENALTIES SLAPPED BY THE AUTHORITIES!!??
                i have HP pavilion dv5 laptop. When i was checking c drive capasity it is showing 114 GB in this 51GB free.But when i was physically checking the total files sige is only 18 GB around 45 GB where it is gone.
                for other files like supporting will take may be 5GB not more than that. Than where is 40 GB?

                HP service support — Defective parts supplied as replacement

                I bought My laptop DV4 TU2110 in april 28,2010. After buying I am continuously reporting different problems with my laptop.
                First I observed my battery is showing falsely charged but as i visited to HP service station (Simtech ,Ahmedabad) they did not get agree.
                After few days My laptop hard disk showed failure and again i visited service station and Service engineer got confirmed the Hard Disk failure problem and order for replacement and replace my battery after 1 week 21.10.10 (Ref.No: [protected]).

                After few days again I reported problem in my battery...but they checked and reported as problem in my charger not in my battery and they gave me replacement of charger on 25.10.10 (Sr.No: 4710, simtech computronics ahmedabad,dated 21.10.10).
                After few days again i reported issue in my battery and Hard disk ( Ref No :[protected], Simtech No: 7335 dated 15.12.2010) and got Replacement for hard disk on 17.12.2010.
                So battery which i got from HP as replacement was lasted for hardly one month . How is it possible?? thats means i have been provided defective hard disk as replacement.
                still my problem was not resolved completely because my battery issue was yet to resolve.
                The problem is battery which i have been provided for replacement was also showing "Status: Replace".IT has already been diagnosed by your service engineer (Simtech ahmedabad).

                Now i am requesting Hp people for extending my warranty its only because of there services i did not able to use my laptop after purchasing and i am going to lapse my warranty in april 2010.

                    I am loyal custumer of HP Gas and presently I am registered with Jagdamba Gas Agency, Lakkar Bazar - Solan and my consumer NO IS 512327 with two cylinders in the name of Sanjeev Kumar Chauhan and I am working as HR Head in Shivalik Bimetal Controls Limited, solan (H.P)

                    The Jagdamba Gas agency representatives are carrying out black marketing of Gas cylinders giving the gas cylinder to hotellers, unauthorised persons on premium cost of Rs 50 to 150 and the custumer keep on running from pillar to post. They donot deliver to home and when their truck comes to fixed position of their own at their sweat time and date .all customers runs for refill and within minutes the truck is empty whereas they hardly distribute 10-15 cylinders whereas other cylinders are already empty when the truck arrives for distribution.

                    Any person through their agent can get the cylinder at extra charges and custumer like us keep on running for their rights.

                    As a vigilant citizen I am requesting you the take stern action against this distributer and if custumer is dragged to hardship due to malpractice and black marketing of distributer then customer has no option but to go to media and court of law.

                    But I am assured that company will certainly take cognizance of my complaint at the earliest against the corrupt and dishonest distributor

                    HP Gas — UNAUTHORISED DISTRIBUTION CHARGES

                    I am Krishnadas residing in Calicut, Kerala. I have a HP Gas connection from your distibutor ' ATHIRA GAS' in Calicut City. My consumer No. is 3164. For the last 3 or 4 times they are collecting distribution charges from me which comes to Rs.20.00. As per my knowledge they are disctibuting gas in the Calicut City. My house is only 3 km from their Agency place. On enquiry they told me that they since they have shifted their godown to a place which situates 15 km away from the city, we have to pay delivery charges to them. suppose If the Agency shifts their godown to a place which is 50 km away for the distribution place,
                    are they entitled to collect distribution charges?. This is purely unauthorised. I thik only the distribution charges will cover all their expenses. This is for your kind attention and favorable action.

                    PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE DEALER USING THE WEBSITE AND MENTION ALL THE FACTS.

                        M/s Shiv-tez enterprises, Geta colony, Delhi-31; has got worst kind of customer service. They have got two landline serviceas 22506009 &22529726; out of which 2nd no. are comleteout of order since last six month and 1st no provided remain busy whole of the day and if you get connected by chance then hardly being attended by staff available. So for each of the booking I have to visit personallytwice-thrice to their office for delivery of gas. HPhelpline is also not very useful as I am waiting for so many days for delivery but at last I have to visit their office for succesful delivery.

                          HP Laptop — Huge Delay in getting the laptop working

                          I am Deepti Gupta having HP Laptop - DV6314TX. My laptop was not working regularly and had issues. I logged a complaint at the RT Outsourcing Services Ltd, Gurgaon which is an HP Authorized Service Center in second week of November. I am an MBA student and my laptop is either not working or not with me since November. It is still not in working condition. These people now on 3rd January have recognized that the Motherboard needs replacement after replacing the touch screen slit and Hard Disk. I had initially gone to the center t get my DVD R/W drive changed as it was showing problems, but since then it started problem of hanging and not able to recover after hibernating. It took them two months to identify the problem, I was told last Saturday that I will get new mother board in a week, but I am still waiting for their reply in this regard since then. I have taken extended warranty due to which they are not charging me anything, but due to repeated problems I am unable to concentrate on my studies. I am helpless, kindly do the needful so that I am able to study peacefully.

                          HP Laptop — Poor Service & Delay

                          I had bought a HP Pavalion TX 2009 AU tablet laptop with extended warranty in July 2009. In less than 8 months there was problem of no display and it was submitted for repairs at the authorised service center at Dadar, Mumbai on 31st March, 2009, case No [protected]. Till date, 28th April 2009, I donot have a confirmation from the service center as to when they will return the laptop duly repaired.They donot have spares to repair.

                          I have been trying to put claim for the full value of the laptop from HP since they are not able to solve the problem within the specified time limit.

                          They have an extended warranty cover, but u get trapped into it as they cannot service the laptop during the normal one year warranty, what they will do in the extended period.

                          I would advice all, not to get into buying any HP product in India as their service support has completely failed and not able to keep up with the Sales expansion.

                          I need the contacts where i can file a consumer complaint for refund of the purchase value.
                          i also bought a hp laptop in jan 09 and draft was recieved by the redemption service on 7 mar 09. even then there has been considerable delay in sending me yhe promised 5.1 philips home theatre system. no concrete reason has been givrn by the company though my gift status hsa been mentioned as waiting bythem

                              Refer to the "Multilated Cheque" issue. I enquried with your

                              Iam very disappointing to know this .I sent the cheque with great care, with

                              Iam guareentee that the cheque was in very good condition when I packed and couriered.Also refer to the mail sent by HP redemption cell about 20 days back, they said that my documents are received in good condition.However its the new issue you are raising, 20 days since you received my documents..So Iam sure that someone in your redemption cell has mishandled the cheque and teared it and you have put the blame on me.And none of your executives are not bothere sd to call me.

                              Sending a new cheque is not an issue for me, provided the valid reason is given by HP redemption cell.And I request you to bear the expenses of courier charges, since there is no mistake from my side.

                                Our Printer/Scanner/Fax (all-in-one) machine HP Laser Jet M1522nf is out of order since December 19, 2008.

                                We had registered a complaint vide no.[protected] on December 19, 2008. Despite several calls to customer care of HP, emails and also calls to the engineer referred by the HP customer care department. Till date our complaint not attended, neither they are responding our emails.

                                We request you to kindly take the necessary steps to rectify our fault as soon as possible.

                                  I have purchased two HP Vivera inks, one Cyan and the other light magenta from M/s Eastern Logica Infoway Ltd., 16 Ganesh Chandra Avenue, Kolkata - 700 013 (Ph.[protected]. At the time of replacing the cartridges, original HP product message was shown. But while checking the ink level, it was shown 3/4 in case of the CYAN while in case of light magenta it was ok.
                                  Please explain why this discrepancy should occur..

                                    Definitely it was my mistake that I have chosen HP pavilion laptop for personnal use instead of DELL or LENOVO and gone ahead and purchased it on 09/10/2008 from a HP Reseller in HYDERABAD, AP.

                                    My model number is HP Pavilion DV2910 TX. This model was having a redemption offer of KODAK DIGITAL CAMERA worth Rs.7, 000 (approx).

                                    Immidiately after purchase I applied for the DIGITAL CAMERA redemption offer on 15/10/2008 and all the necessary documents plus Rs. 990 Demand draft in favor of solutions integrated marketing services limited newdelhi.

                                    I got confirmation of my Digital Camera from Hp Redemption cell after calling them on November 15th.

                                    After that I called them several times and they were replying me that there is processing delay and it would take some more time to dispatch the offer to my mentioned address.

                                    Now today after 3 months wait when still didnot receive anything from them so I called them back and now they are creating another story that the address I have mentioned, there the courier can't be dispatched and I have to send them another address through fax where they can dispatch that camera.

                                    I really doubt their authenticity of providing the offer from the Redemption Cell and really don't know when I would be receiving the offer.

                                      On 31/10/2008 I bought a Q2612A toner from (HP) esteemed concern which was replaced on 3rd December 2008 for the vertical line came out in every print.

                                      The replaced or repaired toner serial no. is 1008032.

                                      From very first day after installed replaced or repaired toner is not up to the mark and from 17th December 2008, again this vertical line has been coming out in every print. For which I have been failing to print necessary documents because the vertical line which has been coming out in the print is looking very odd.

                                      This is the first time I have been facing trouble with this toner. I have checked my printer with another toner collecting from one of friends and print is ok which has proved that the printer is OK. I went to HP Service Center (2, Ripon Street, CMC Building, Kolkata - 700016) with this problem where after testing the toner they refused me (Case ID: ININDARC[protected], Date: 12/18/2008).

                                      I registered a complaint through “HP online Register a complaint form” (http://h20526.www2.hp.com/cchs/forms/SubmitCase_EU.asp) and sent an e-mail to soni.[protected]@hp.com, indiaarc.[protected]@hp.com along all the documents of purchased bill and sample test paper regarding this faulty toner (Q2612A) but after that there is no Response form HP still now.

                                      I appeal all the HP customers that don’t trust the HP Product.

                                      Locum international operates many HP printers (4350's) and two LJ1320's.
                                      This is a problem of new faulty toner. Today Feb 07 a brand new original Q5949X toner (bought direct from HP) was opened from an original box and installed and immediately fails to print normally. The copy is very faint and unreadable. The machine prints perfectly with another Q5949X toner. We swapped out with two different toners and the quality is excellent. It appears we have been supplied with a dud Q5949X toner. As stated the toner was supplied direct from HP and delivered by courier. Our Office is fully air conditioned year round and all Q5949X toners are stored in a air conditioned storage room with many other operating and working toners.

                                      HPLJ-1230 — poor and fraudlent customer care support

                                      my printer HPLJ-1230 is not working properly. i gave this at HP authorised service centre at Ghaziabad on 26/03/2009. they informed me that scanner costing Rs. 3500/- will be replaced. but on 4/4/2009 they informed me that scanner will cost Rs. 6500/-. Now today i.e. 8/5/2009, i was informed that scanner is properly working but ecu card costing Rs.10, 000/- is required to be replaced.
                                      i could not understand that when scanner is not working properly earlier, how it will be possible that scanner starts working properly and required change of ecu card.
                                      from the above there are following question in my mind:
                                      -why service centre quates different rate for same parts with a period of 8 days.

                                      HP Laser 1320 — Service centre response

                                      my printer HPLJ-1230 is not working properly. i gave this at HP authorised service centre at Ghaziabad on 26/03/2009. they informed me that scanner costing Rs. 3500/- will be replaced. but on 4/4/2009 they informed me that scanner will cost Rs. 6500/-. Now today i.e. 8/5/2009, i was informed that scanner is properly working but ecu card costing Rs.10, 000/- is required to be replaced.
                                      i could not understand that when scanner is not working properly earlier, how it will be possible that scanner starts working properly and required change of ecu card.
                                      from the above there are following question in my mind:
                                      -why service centre quates different rate for same parts with a period of 8 days.
                                      -whether is it proper that company like HP, takes 42 days in informing the customer the required repair. and three diffrent repiars within this period.
                                      -why should i not believe that parts have been changed by the service centre.

                                      I have been using HP toners for long. I never experienced this issue of getting 200 pages of low quality. Will HP confirm again that the first 200 pages from HP toners are useless? It cannot work for a few toner and cannot work for others. Don't the follow some manufacturing standards?
