    1. I purchased a hp laptop from YOUDAN MARKETING, 5-9-324, opp SBH, Gunfoundry, Hyderabad-500001 ( Tel.[protected] on 27/10/2008 vide their invoice no.[protected].

    2. The redemption code for the free gift of this purchase ( Digicam) is SZXNLEG72F .

    3. The Solutions Integrated Marketing services Pvt. Ltd. collected the handfling and packaging charges of Rs. 990/ from my father's bank account ( CANARA BANK, SECTOR-20, NOIDA, UP ) through the cheque no 061637 . The money was collected by them on[protected] from the bank.

    4. The free gift is yet to be delivered to me. I had written to them in reply to their e-mail stating that my address is shifted or not found. It is unfortunate to all o[censored]s that the your authorised person/agency does not know the name of BITS, PILANI(Hyderabad campus, a well known Educational INSTT. of international standard) The text of the reply sent by me on 9th December, 2008 reads as follows:
    "It cannot be agreed to the rweport that my address is wrong or shifted. A reputed institution like BITS, PILANI campus HYDERABAD and its Krishna Boys Hostel located at Jawahar nagar at Hyderabad is a very famous one and internationally reputed one. The report of tge courier agency is therefore wrong. All the full details were mentioned in my purchase voucher while purchasing the LAPTOP from your distributor/stockist at Hyderabad. Apprending some irregularities my fathaer Dr. G.K.Choudhury therefore, visited your premises at New Delhi( He is Delhi based) on 10th November, 2008 requesting you to handover the gift to him for which I had submitted a written signed authorisation letter to you but you declined. However, my father deposited the amount (Rs. 990/-) for which it appears you are only interested but not in providing service, alongwith the original authorisation letter signed by me on 12.11.2008. The episode is really regrettable due to lack of sincerety on the part of someone, I feel.
    I would request you to please call on my father ( Mobile no. [protected]) who stays in NOIDA( about 6 km from your office) to get the address again as it would not be possible for me to reply again and again through my hectic academic activities in the institution(BITS, Pilani Hyderabad campus).

    I would also let you know that I shall be away from my college campus from 3rd January, 2009 to 19th January, 2009 due to my semester vacation.

    on July 4, 2008 I got mail from HP that my claim has been approved and I will be received the WIFI Music and TV Tuner in 2-3 weeks time

    But till date I have not received the said gifts and and I have made 6-7 reminders. but evertime they responds that gifts are not in stock and same will be delivered in 2-3 weeks time.

    my complaint has been solved by HP. Main culprit is the company who is looking after the hp claims which is solution digitas.

    When I complained the HP thru there website form. My complaint was resovled quickly

    HP/ LAPTOP — NON-RECEIPT OF GIFT

    I had purchased a laptop of HP on 27.10.2008, and was promised a gift of a digital camera on payment of Rs.990/-. My registration no. was RXGWV9364X. the computer's details are enclosed for ready reference:-

    on 10.12.2008

    I have not received the digital camera. On enquiry at the New Delhi Office there is no response and the matter is getting delayed. Hence I request for some action.

      made the purchase less than six months ago from their auth dealer at AS RAO NAGAR SEC'BAD, AP . 3 Times it had gone blank necessiating recovery loosing all data .The main problem still persists - dotted lines on the monitor screen a clear sign of some major defects . Will HP send its rep to my residence. It is difficult for me to travel to far away service stn at BEGUMPET.

Times it had gone blank necessiating recovery loosing all data .The main problem still persists - THERE R NO SOUND DRIVERS and LOTS OF SCRATCES ON THE LAPTOP . Will HP take any action against this. Dealer hos no sence of taking with coustemers.

        I have purchased a product of HP worth 49990. The product overall was fine on usage but there was a constant problem seen in the camera.
        I then approached the Hp service centre an told them that my software or the camera listing continuously goes off and on in the device manager. The person said that it is a software issue and they will fix it and give it back. After one day all they did was restored my laptop and the camera was workin fine then later same happened again. I took it to the service centre again and again they do the restore. I lost my data twice but what the heck as the following would fix my computer.
        After few days it happened again and i never then get back to the service centre and my camera finally went out. I said damn they'll restore and then again same prob.
        Then today what i found was i[censored] stretch the laptop till the end the camera shows in the device manager and tehn again goes off. So it is definitely a wiring problem and HP never thought of exchanging or recalling the products back. If it was constant. I also work for REEBOK and we find a continuous feedback in the product we recall it from the stores. But HP never did. All i can find is there customer service is real bad and they hardly care bout the product.

        so this definitely a bad marketing for them
        AS I AM TELLING ALL MY FRIEND'S TO NEVER GO FOR hP PRODUCTS.

        i have purchased hp pavilion dv 9000 laptop with windows vista ultimate ...which later i replaced by window xp sp2.
        now i again wanted to recover my laptop with window vista ultimate but this recovery CD of vista ultimate is not working.

          Ihad purchased on 6th Oct 2008, A hp Laptop (pavilion dv 2910 Tx) with a Kodak digicom offer. I had sent a cheque of Rs 990, as asked by hp on 10th Oct but I am yet to receive the camera even after 10 weeks has passed.

            the subject cited product bought from M/s solutions aliganj and since the time of purchase in 2007 giving problems under the warrenty period checked by techicians from dealer and company seal was broken by these technicians when send it to for repair at service centre at ashok marg in lucknow they refused to consider it in the warrenty period after long persuation they repair it and taken Rs800/- and told that company supplied black cartiradge is defective till today printer is not working.
            I hope before the purchase of hp products one should uder stand the type of service they provide. no hope from hp people

              I have purchased HP Pavilion dv6710 notebook in Oct 2008. Due to some technical problms, the laptop was sent to HP authorised Service centre in Pune (Vintech Electronic Systems Pvt. Ltd) on in Nov 2008 .
              They told me that problem was faulty DC-BOARD due to which the laptop is not getting charged and they have sent request for the replacement part(DC- Board), within 2-3 days I will receive the part and I can work on my laptop.

              But today till 15th Dec.2008 even after a month, I have not received the part(DC BOARD). I am getting same response status as the part is not available.

                Dear sir,

                This is to inform you that I have submitted my laptop on 20th October in uptec computer consultancy (Address: 16 rana pratap marg, uptec crossing, lucknow-226001, phone[protected]extension240) for repairing and they are saying that they have to replace the part but hp is not providing them the part as I m mba student my all work is depend on laptop only but I m not able to use, this is a very big problem for me and I have spent 45000 and still I am not able to use it.
                I went to them more than 10 times and they gave me no response and they also gave me some numbers of hp customer care but when I called customer care, they gave me the number o[censored]p region coordinator but he is also not picking up of the phone. Since it’s almost 2 months my warranty is also lapsing.
                I have done all the efforts from my side and now I m fed up because didn’t get good response from your side. When today I went to the uptec consultancy center they said that I m not making effort from my side so its high time now because I also called gurgaon centre but they are also not replying so now I have one option left is to go to the court and file case against you.
                Please look in to this matter as soon as possible, or I have to go for alternatives.

                HP CENTRE UPTECH (LKO) — LAPTOP REPLACE

                I HAVE TAKEN LAPTOP WHOSE MODEL NO IS INA 02901 SD 29 AUG FROM UP TECK COMPUTER. AFTER 15 DAYS IT WILLNOT PRPERLY WORK (SOUND PROBLEM). I COMPLAINED SO HE SAYS THAT AFTER 2OR3 DAYS LAPTOP REPLACED.BUT BECAME A ONE MONTHE NOT A ANY RESPONSE. PLEASE HELP ME

                  HP is full o[censored]nprofessionals.I bought a HP laptop(dv 9700) six months back..used it for three months then there was some problem with the display adapter.So i contacted the dealer, so he sent the laptop to HP..i got a confirmation from HP through sms that service report has been generated..the dealer said that it would just take 4-5 days for everythin..its been more than 2 months now no reply from HP.I spoke to the regional head of HP(Mr. Somnath)..but of no use..and i am still waiting..HP sucks

                  Here in Orissa also I am facing a similar problem. The engineers at the service centers are only there to cheat you by telling something unnecessary. I wonder whether they are qualified or not.
                  I bought an Hp PavilionDV9601 AU...It cost me Rs 48, 750...2 months after my one year waranty expired the mother board got damaged. And I was asked to replace it which wil cost me Rs 22, 000.
                  Now HP is legally in the correct, but let me tell you that if I go to a company and purchase a product for 48, 000 RS and 1year and 2 months later they expect me to pay another 22, 000 almost a half of the product cost they are seriously mistaken.

                  (I bought the laptop S/n0 CN F7 392 VDG from Quad Media Chennai 9/ April 2008)

                  You go to a reputable company expecting a good durable product or atleast just service. Hp might be legally in the correct. But I guarantee you that I will never buy an HP product again and I will make sure that none of my friends, familly and colleagues buy one either and there are a lot of them. I take it upon myself to spread the bitter experience of HP and I assure that I will adversely affect your sales, even if it is by a very small fraction, I am a freelance graphic designer and I use a lot of computer and computer accessories in my line of work, but I have never had such a bitter frustrating experience before HP.
                  DO NOT BUY HP laptops in New Delhi, INDIA.

                  They have the worst service centre, and rude customer care people. I have had harrowing experiences with them.

                  I will not recommend HP or Compaq laptops to any person.

                    I have purchased a laptop in the month of May08, I was promised FREE Wi-Fi music system and TV TUNER card of Rs9000/- free with laptop.I have sent Rs500/ as Gift Handling charges.Inspite of repeated reminders the company has not sent me the free gift, six months have passed and I am still waiting for the gift.

                    HP Pavilion DV5 — No receipt of gift!.

                    I have purchased one HP Pavilion DV5 laptop and then as per the instructions received from the company by email and from their web site, have duly submitted the d/d of rs. 990/- to HP Redemption Cell, New Delhi with all the required documents but it has been more than 6 weeks and neither i have received any confirmation nor any correspondence from them...

                    HP Pavilion DV5 — No service & Rude to the core

                    I have a HP Pavilion DV5, bought in march 2009 and exactly after a year it has given some problem while browsing the net, after restart there is nothing that happens, screen is blank, CAP's and NUM lock LED's blink.. after a big ordeal with the sales partner from where i bought this laptop, he gave me the toll free number for technical help and they gave me Simtech Computronics Pvt Ltd, Gala No 10,11 Apple Plaza

                    The contact numbers that are mentioned cannot be easlily contacted... NO ONE ANSWERS and nce after trying for 26 days a lady picked up the phone and i asked her for Hp Laptop service engineer.. there comes a rude tone.. yelling on me .."YOU GET YOUR LPT TOP HERE" twice she repeated and won't even let me speak and there goes a BANG...call was disconnected

                    After that i am not able to contact SIMTECH... Indeed HP has WORLD CLASS Service which leaves their customers frustrated.

                    1. With due respect I would like to lay down the following few lines for your kind consideration and favourable action please.

                    2. I, No 5049564F Rifleman Yash Thapa, am serving with 3/1 GR in Indian Army. I purchased HP Pavilion Note Book PC Model No DV5 1102 TU Ser No CNF844125S from the Shop Infoterent Technology, Haridwar on 12 Dec 2008.

                    3. While purchasing the above PC, the Info Tech Shop owner assured me that there will be a gift item of 5.1 Philips Home Theater alongwith the above mentioned PC. In this regard, I had drawn a demand draft in favour of HP Redemption Gift Cell for a sum of Rs 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only). On sending the above DD to HP Redemption Gift Cell, I got a reply from them stating that they have dispatched 5.1 Home Theater (Philips) vide Madhur Currier code No 83249667. They also stated in their letter that if I do not receive the above gift item I should approach within one week to Customer Care Centre No [protected], [protected].cash id [protected],[protected]

                    4. Since then I have not received the above mentioned gift item till date even after approaching customer care centre many a times through tele conversation. Finally, the Customer Care Centre representative is now stating that no gift items will be given to me from the Redemption Gift Cell as eight months have passed now.

                    5. I request you to lodge a complaint against the firm who have cheated me by making a false promise and accepting an amount of Rs 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only).

                    6. I am a serving soldier in the Indian Army and it is not possible for me to pursue the matter as I am posted in a remote area.

                    7. I shall be grateful to you to resolve the issue at the earliest.

                      I purchased a Compaq laptop model V 3225 AU bearing sr. no 2CE720306R on 20 July 2007. In May 2008, the laptop started giving complaints and it was taken to their authorised service center in Cochin( Call ticket no:1463). Unable to diagonise the problem as it did not repeat while in their service center, they returned the same with in two days. Within a day the complaint re occured and I took it back again to their service center ( Call ticket no:1510). First they said it is corrupted OS, but soon they realised it is not, but were not able to diagonise the actual fault. Finally they said they will try replacing its System board and LCD. But on receiving it back I found the performance of the machine had gone down alot including its battery backup and I gave a complaint to them asking for replacement of the whole products since it seemed to be having some manufacturing defect. One of my friend who purchased the same model just one week ahead of me had also similar problems and same kind of rectification was done in his case too. My request for replacement of the laptop was ignored by HP despite the poor performance. On November 8, 2008, the same complaint reoccured and it was again taken to their service center. I was given a call ticket no:100389 and the lady at the service center informed me that this particular model has an inherent defect and hence the company is giving free replacement of the systems board even after its guarantee period is over. They replaced the system board after a week and with in 10 days it started giving the same trouble. When I took it back to the service center, they said all that we can do is try replacing the system board again, since this is problem with this particular model and we can only hope for the best! They gave me a call ticket no: 10054 which was later transfered to their another service center with a fresh call ticket no: 5649. After two weeks they informed me that machine is ready for delivery, but they said in the process the OS is corrupted. They did not even bother to reload the OS though it has a orginal OS supplied by them. The battery back up of the machine after each replacement has been going down and at the moment it just last a few minutes though it is just over a year old! The HP is not willing to to give me a new battery saying it is out of warranty now. I would not again buy another HP product again and wont recommend it to any one for sure

                      V3225AU — Defective battery since purchasing

                      I am purchased Compaq laptop model V 3225 AU bearing sr. no 2ce7214hqj on 11 august 2007. In 1 year warreny period the same laptops mother board, battery, keyboard, dvd writer company replace because this product all the parts defective reason. the serivce center challan no 7393 on date 30.07.08. but their after all the above replace parts are starting problems now. i am complenting to service center but they said your product warrenty over you should pay additionl warrenty charges Rs.6000+618 service tax. This charges i am paid but all this charges after paiding my laptop battery not replace. This product is seriously very low quality product. the various types problem is occurred in this laptop The battery back up of the machine after each replacement has been going down and at the moment it just last a few minutes though it is just over a year old! The HP is not willing to to give me a new battery saying it is out of warranty now. I would not again buy another HP product again and wont recommend it to any one for sure.

                        With due regards I, Khushbu Kaushik, would like to share something with you. I am a student at the Institute of Hotel Management-Aurangabad, Maharashtra and I am a resident of Chandigarh and partly New Delhi as my mother is posted in New Delhi.

                        I had bought an HP Pavilion Laptop, Model No. dv6516tx, on 25th July, 2007. This is regarding an issue that I’ve been facing with my laptop since quite some time. The notebook was working fine till December. Then one fine day I faced this problem named as Blue-Dump Error, and the next day a few of my files were deleted and few settings were changed automatically. I could not bring out this problem at that time since I was in Sri Lanka for my internship. Though there was a lot of important data lost I could not report this matter firstly since I was not in India and secondly there was a language barrier out there so could not have been able to explain my problem to the concerned people out there. A little later a few functions and programs in the notebook stopped functioning and even when stopped did not stop functioning; for e.g.: Windows Media Player use to play songs even after the application was closed. I also tried running HP Health Check which runs a scan and has Security, Performance, Hardware, Maintenance and Updates as applications which where also showing to be green well before but by now the all of then where showing risk/danger sign. When I tried to repair them a few downloads were required which I just could not download as it always invited the Blue-dump error. Thus I was never successful to correct that.

                        I came back to India in the month of April and as soon as I came back I reported the matter to Orbit Peripherals Pvt Ltd, 1412, Hemkunt Chambers, 89, Nehru Place, New Delhi, Delhi 110019, India which was mentioned on the HP Website as one the authorized service centers. The response was very sad and they told me that they do not see any problem with the notebook and sent me back. As I had to report back to college I went back to Aurangabad.

                        Being facing the same problem again and again I reported the matter to the Aurangabad, Accord Hp Service Centre, Aurangabad, in the month of June. The response from them was that there could be some issue with the Software and thus the best they could help me out with will be reinstalling the Operating System and will also charge me a sum of Rs. 750 invariable of the notebook being in warranty period.

                        I decided to show it last to the Hp Service Centre in Chandigarh in Sector-34. My mother had already gone and spoken to the Hp Service Centre executive Mr. Piyush about the matter, he confirmed me with a possible solution of the problem. I also enquired about the warranty date of the Laptop as the purchase warranty was expiring by the 25th July, 2008. On being provided with the Product number and Serial number of the notebook, he told me that the date of expiry of the yearly warranty is 11th September.

                        As soon as I came back from Aurangabad, I reported the matter to the Mr. Piyush in the Hp Service Centre, Sector-34 at Chandigarh in August. He got the RAM cleaned up for me and suggested me to order the original HP Recovery Discs form HP and also to get my warranty extended.

                        On receiving the Recovery Discs form Hp I did the Recovery of the operating system myself. When the matter was still not resolved, I took the Laptop again back to the Hp Service Centre by second week of August, 2008. The executive kept the laptop with him and did the recovery once again on his own though being informed about the fact that once the recovery has already been done by me. The resultant was that he could not resolve the issue at all, he happened to update the BIOS version of the notebook. He told that may be the old version was leading to a compatibility issue and thus the problems were occurring.

                        The problem still not resolved, I contacted Mr. Manoj, through the Toll free number of Hp Helpline. He issued me a Reference Number: [protected] and told me that the case will now be open and will not be closed till I am satisfied. I went back to the Hp Service Centre with the reference number in last week of August and I came back to Delhi. Whenever I called up to enquire about the status of the matter I was told by Mr. Piyush that the engineer is contacting the Hp main bay about the matter and is obtaining a new reference number, which was never delivered to me.

                        Meanwhile I was told by Mr. Piyush to get the notebook’s warranty extended as otherwise anything that happens or is resultant will be considered as Customer Abuse. Being scared I did get the warranty (on site) extended on the 08th September, 2008; by spending a sum of Rs. 7, 500. Seeing the behavior of the service centre executives, I had called up the toll free number. I happened to speak to Mr. Jasmine, he told me to have the laptop in front of me and then call up the Toll free number. Being fed up of hearing the fact that everyday the notebook was being recovered, I got the notebook back from the Hp Service Centre and came back to Aurangabad for my college.

                        Later on I decided to contact Hp through the E-mail support, by filing a complaint on the 08th October, 2008 and received the Complaint number: CCHSAP166397. I received a reply form Ms. Pratima M P stating that the following is the address of the Hp Service Centre in Aurangabad and to contact them for further concern. I replied back to the mail but was never reverted back on the same. I also tried contacting the Toll free number again and spoke to Ms Priya on the 10th October, 2008, who asked me to perform the primary self hard disk check. Fed up I contacted Ms. Pratima M P and asked her to take some action against the case. I was always welcomed with a standard reply that I will be contacted back about the status of the case, which never happened.

                        Thrice being in continuation trying to get through to Ms. Pratima on the 21st October, 2008, I was finally told that Mr. Durgesh Prasad will be contacting me shortly. On being contacted by Mr. Durgash Prasad, I explained the whole problem in detail to him and told him that the only two solutions which I look forward to from the company will be either replacement of the notebook or a refund for the whole amount. He told me that since the laptop has been with me for more than 1 year and the warranty had expired, the replacement will not be possible. But as I stressed on the fact of receiving either a replacement or a refund only he told me that he will be contacting the next day. I never received any call from him but was rather contacted by Mr. Manoj on the 22nd October, 2008, who had issued the reference number to me and thus had become the case owner. I never got a positive response from him too. Then I spoke to Mr. Durgesh Prasad again and explained him everything in detail. He assured me that he will call me back with whatever the decision will be taken by the concerned authorities on the replacement or the refund.

                        I was called by Mr. Durgesh Prasad, on the 23rd October, 2008. He told me that the decision taken is that I’ll be granted with an extended warranty or five months for the notebook and whatever be the next complaint will be dealt with very diligently. I asked him for any higher authorities’ contact number and E-mail address. He gave me Mr. Haris Haidery’s Email address and Phone number. Mr. Haris Haidery is the Counrty head for Hewlett Packard.

                        I came back to New Delhi on the 25th October, 2008. Since I was not well I could not contact Mr. Haris Haidery as soon as possible. I happened to contact him thrice but was only answered by the answering machine. I did leave a voice message for him on the 03rd, November, 3008, but never got a call back or a response back.

                        I then called up Mr. Durgesh Prasad again on the 04th October, 2008 and told him that I could not get in contact with Mr. Haris Haidery. I did ask him for him Mobile number but as he said he did not have the number with him and suggested me to contact Ms. Pratima M P. As I contacted her and told her about the state of the case, she assured me a call back as soon as she would speak to Mr. Harris Haidery. I was then contacted by Mr. Manoj as he is the owner of the case but was never called back by Ms. Pratima M P. Mr. Manoj assured me that he will speak to Mr. Harris Haidery and then let me know about the status the next day.

                        The day after that I receive a call from Ms. Maitri, from New Delhi, who tells me that she had received a call from the Bangalore office about the case. She assured me that she would let me speak to Mr. Harris Haidery. And as assured by her I did receive a call from him but because of some network problem the conversation could not be completed and he assured me that he will definitely call me back in the next half an hour.

                        I haven't received a call from him or anyone from Hp till date. I also had forwarded the same complaint to him through an E-mail but was never reverted back.

                        It is humble requests to you if you could please look into the matter as soon as possible and kindly get me a replacement for the product as I am really fed up with the Laptop as it is just a simple piece of junk for me lying in one corner as I just can't use it.

                        I have spent 55, 500 INR for buying the laptop and another 7, 500 for getting an extended warranty for the product. Moreover I have wasted a lot of money in contacting the Hp for the same problem. I look forward for a response from your end.

                        Poor Girl. I sympathize with her. She took so much of time to scribe her frustration. I wonder if HP at all listened to her query and request. There should be stern actions against such companies who promise lots of goodies and after-sale-services however when time comes to keep the word, they ignore the customers queries and request.

                        Hewlett Packard / Laptop — Display Panel/ Service

                        Hi I am a user of HP DV-5, 1150ed Notebook. During warranty period LCD screen of my Laptop started flickering and I took it to Vintech HP Service Center (HP Authorized), where they found that LCD panel has to be replaced. It took around 2 months for Vintech to get the spare part (i.e. LCD Panel) and replace it. However they were unable to produce the documents that this part is new.

                        Anyways the LCD panel got replaced with 3 months warranty and after 5 months the same problem started occurring again. Now warranty of my laptop is expired and I am wondering how to get it corrected.

                        When I spoke to Vintech People they said it will cost around 10-15K to replace the LCD panel.

                        What was the real issue: - Either the service provided by Vintech is not up to the mark or the LCD panel which they gave me is not the new replacement, it was old and somehow they did minor correction in it to bring it in working condition.
                        OR
                        The product itself is not up to the quality standards, as the same problem is occurring again and again.
                        I've bought HP DV6 1211ax Sept. 2009.
                        ^^ The worst decision I have ever made in my 'Tech' life. :(

                        I wont recommend an HP laptop to anyone now.
                        Infact I have already saved few of my friends.

                          I am again writing this letter to you tenth 10th time . no one calls me no one reply me. your navi mumbai service center is telling the printer is not available they will give me money instead of printer and they are giving me rs.10, 000/- but today all the photo smart all in one printer are starting with 17, 000/- rs to 28, 000/- . then what I will do from 10, 000/- this printer is since two years . if don’t have printer in your stock then why you extend the warranty of printer . Since 2 month my printer is at service center I am fed up by daily calling and enquiry .

                          I have lost my 50, 000/- fifty thousand rupees because of this printer I have take my work out side and do. you r going to my 50, 000/- Rs if no then who will pay me.

                                my younger sis purchased a hp compaq presario v3000-342av, serial no. 2ce7260clt on 31/8/2007. this notebook is creating a lot of problem, the AMD processor that you have provided with this notebook is of no use, all the time it gets hanged & gets heated up within minutes. due to this the motherboard also suffers and now is totally gone.
                                when we went to one of your service centers in haldwani( uttarakhand, india), your service personal said that he will get it repaired but there is no guarantee that it will work properly and asked us to buy a new one rather than getting this one repaired.
                                sir with due respect i just wanted to know that if your company can't provide the service to customers then why have you installed so many service centers in the whole country.
                                i just want you guys to tell me what should i do? i am really fed up with this product of yours. kindly reply me as soon as possible.

                                i brought laptop just a 6 months before, a couple of months before there was a sound drive problem after paying 300 it was ok ...after that it was working proper..then the new issue the power is on but doesn't diplay...i given to the service centre o Hp in pune a couple of weeks before but it is not yet done. There service is so so poor & hopeless. whenever i call to know the status of my laptop they are giving excuses.

                                I am experiencing the same problem with my system. I just wonder the quality sense of the company and it's approach to the most valuable customers.                                 I have been using V6000 series laptop since last 2 &half years and few months ago i got my warranty extended than as usual my laptop needed some attention hence I gave it to HP service Center!!!

                                Its been more than 2 months and still that laptop is not working as they motherboard is not available and at my surprise in all four warehouse of india they do not have replacement available... now thats really very difficult to understand... there is no response from any damm number of HP as they keep on giving new number everynow and than...

                                This is very true, this particular model from HP has serious problem very now and then. Even after so many complaints are coming, company is still selling those version in market. So customer's pocket is getting affected but in the end Company will get a kick for this! Enough of hell of services are being done and now we as customer needs to raise voice and make them to listen our problems.

                                V3000 compaq laptop — Mother board

                                I had bought compaq V3000 laptop in year 2007, march and after around one year from the date of purchase i am facing lot of problems with it. As it has AMD processor, its mother board is giving lot of problems. I got the mother board replaced thrice under the company's scheme for AMD processors, which is valid for me till 8th march 2009 only. I had the worst experience of purchasing COMPAQ laptop and would recommend everyone i know never to buy COMPAQ laptops. So please let me know what i am suppose to do because the company's scheme under which they replace the AMD mother board for free is worthless as it again stops working after few days.
                                I'm struggling with my Presario V3000 for months. First..very hard to start working, sometimes it is working sometimes not. Now I have my laptop totally dead. As far I can see there is not even boot, so must be a motherboard’s problem. How long I have my laptopn?...barely one year…Is no serious to lie the people this way….Presario V3000 is a very bad product.
                                I am using laptops for the past 7 years, prior to this they were all thinkpads from IBM never had an issue so did not go for the extended warranty for my Compaq Pressario V3029 AU. Never anticipated product quality like this from HP.
                                For the past two years I am using V3000 notebook. Last week it had gone completely blank, the display was not there. The service guy told me that the motherboard is dead, and I have to buy a new one for 16k. I have found out all over the net this problem is very common for the V3000 series Compaq pressario notebooks. Make substandard products, hire Shah Rukh Khan or any superstar to promote, and voila you have like me buying it. Just to realize after two years that your 43k notebook is dead, spend another 16k just to revive it. Keep on doing the same thing HP, and you will have great market share in the future.

                                My suggestion to prospective buyers, dont waste your money on HP & Compaq products, go do some research on the net and buy something that is stable, reliable and from a company with right business mindset not from someone who wants to sell a substandard product just to earn quick bucks in after sales & services.

                                I had bought a Compaq V3000 Series Laptop. It had one year gaurantee. Now this laptop is two years old and suddenly one its crashed down. I took it to the HP Service Center as Compaq has been taken over by HP. The engineer at service center is saying that this is the problem of this particular model and only thing that can be done here is to sell this laptop for Rs. 5000/- to them as this motherboard is problematic and cannot be rectified. Thousands of people have come across this problem and had to just simply throw away their laptops which they bought for Rs. 35000/- odd. Can this be continued???

                                HP/Compaq — Battery Issue

                                i gave my laptop(Compaq V3780) to RT Outsourcing Services, Jaipur on 11th of april. The issue was battery backup. Around 18th they called me and asked me to take backup of laptop as they want to take some recovery.i took the backup nd gave them back the laptop on 23rd. After some days they called me and told me the software is showing battery replace but some report is nt showing so they cant change the battery. I went their and had a word with them they told they will put the case with HP nd gave me a case ID.After that i tried contacting them but they didnt responded well.They always tell they will give me a call in 5mins and they never calls back. Then i called Customer Support and asked them the status on 30th, they told battery has been ordered. Today when i called Customer Support they told me the case is closed and the explanation given their is they tried calling me but i didnt picked the call. This never happened.They lied. I was the 1 who was calling them but they never responded. I am fed up. it seems i need to take some legal step. i m left wid no options.What to do? Such a bad service. Never expected such a bad service from HP. Pahetic service.More Over my warranty ended on 30th April. What should i do now. My laptop is still with the service center. tehy still saying they r working on it.

                                But even if you go for the repair your problem will not get solved, I replaced my motherboard 3 times and every time it will only work for a few days and the display will go again.
                                This is because they replace the motherboard again with a defective motherboard containing the defective NVIDIA chip.
                                This warranty extension is trap so that no body goes to any court against them.
                                So please spread this message how they are cheating the customers go to the consumer court ask for the replacement of this product, never settle for repair as they will cheat us.
                                The company is cheating us, we should all get replacement of this product.
                                This laptop's thermal design is also very bad
                                The AMD processor has nothing to with it. The main processor is fine. The geforce gpu is causing the heat and the poor thermal design of the laptop do not push out the heat well.

                                If you use the main processor in full throttle, its not going to heat up that much. Rather if you use geforce GPU(run some graphic intensive application) the laptop will heat up to around 100 degree celcius

                                I agree. I had invested Rs. 35K, I am terribly sorry for that. I had got repaired my notebook 5 times in THE VERY first three months. It is now giving same problem again. These laptop/notebooks must have recalled and replaced in the very frst place.

                                Yes I fully agree with this as I myself and one of my friend too who purchased this V3000 laptops are facing the motherboard problem. They have already replaced the motherboard of my machine 5 times during the lat two years. Their service center and also the dealer from whom I purchased the machine has confirmed to me that this is a manufacturing defect of the machine and hence they are giving replacement of the motherboard even after the guarantee period is over. But I feel they are cheating us with a product which has been confirmed of an inherent manufacturing defect and still they are not willing to give replacement of the machines. The battery life of the laptop is affected due to the defective motherboard and they are keeping a silence on this.                                 I have a Compaq v3228au laptop -product no. RZ819PA, Serial no. 2CE7080413, the system doesn't boot till the time i don't insert the ac adapter code and the wireless adapter is also not detected which means I can't use wireless internet on my laptop. I have contacted HP but they say that these are general issues identified with these series of laptops and there was a one year extended warranty as the series had an existing fault, the warranty is over now, they say that the motherboard may have to be replaced which is nearly half the price of the laptop. HP never informed me about this issue at the time of purchase. HP was already aware of these issues and they cheated the customers by selling these products, they should repalce the machine instead of providing a no use extended warranty which doesn't solve the issue.A lot of other people across the world are also facing the same issues with this series of Compaq laptops.

During the 11th month from the date of purchase (i.e. during Warranty Period) the display was not coming to my laptop and i submitted that to your Surat service center. After around 10 days, i received it in working condition and i was told that this is general problem with this particular model and they have replaced the motherboard.
                                Again after the 8 months of that replacement, same problem occured. As the warranty period was over, i have to paid for the same problem and again 10 days of duration was taken.
                                I am regret to inform you that the same probloem is occured once again . This has happedn third time . In the period of hardly 2 years, i am facing same problem third time.

                                I buy this product considering the name and fame of your company.                                 18 months and my 36k laptop is gone for a toss.The enormous heat it generated affected the other components embedded inside.
                                I was so surprised when the HP authorized agent (as soon as he saw noticed that the model was Presario v3000) told me in an unapologetic tone that this is quite common in this model. More than being saddened I was shocked to hear such things about a company whose products I trusted. I came home and googled and then I found innumerable posts by people who have been duped like me.
                                I am even more surprised that this product is still avbl in the market even after all this negative response.

                                This is very TRUE! And seriously unfortunate for the lower middle class guy like me who even can’t afford 5k/month. Since I am software student I needed to upgrade to VISTA which is bit graphics intensive. After upgrading to VISTA, within 10 days my display chip (called GPU) bowled- up because it was unable to bare the heat generated. AND I AM GETTING PUNISHMENT FOR CHOOSING COMPAQ PRODUCT. My college project is incomplete and I have to go to my friends place to complete it.

                                May I make it clear to all reader the AMD is very good processor and has no problem. It is Compaq who has not used it properly

                                I purchased Compaq Amd turion laptop from one of hp dealer in jamnagar.But after two year of working laptop motherboard failure is happen.I am not a regular user of laptop even though this failure happen.I am very disatisfy with the comnpany AMD turion mother board performance, means i have to change it for 18000rupees or i have to buy a new laptop but not of hp or compaq.I am sending you the model number i.e V3225AU,Product:Compaq PresarioV3000,S/n:2CE7220SFJ,p/n:RY301PA#ACJ.
                                Instead of changing motherboard i can add few more thousand rupees and get a brand new laptop from some other company.Is compaq laptops are so delicate that they cannot survive more than 2 years.Please guide me in this matter.

                                I am using laptops for the past 3 years.Never anticipated product quality like this from Compaq.
                                For the past three years I am using Compaq AMD Turion notebook. Last week it had gone completely blank, the display was not there. The service guy told me that there is overheating problem, and I have to buy a new mother board for 16k. I have found out all over the net this problem is very common for the V3000 series Compaq pressario notebooks. Make substandard products, hire Shah Rukh Khan or any superstar to promote, and voila you have like me buying it. Just to realize after two years that your 40k notebook is dead, spend another 16k just to revive it. Keep on doing the same thing HP, and you will have great market share in the future.

                                My suggestion to prospective buyers, dont waste your money on HP & Compaq products, go do some research on the net and buy something that is stable, reliable and from a company with right business mindset not from someone who wants to sell a substandard product just to earn quick bucks in after sales & services.

                                I am also faving the same problem in my Laptop motherboard. I went to HP service center and they charged me Rs 12500 for the replacement of the motherboard and gave me the warranty for three months. but after three months again the same problem appears and they told me that I have to pay again for that. I adont know what is going all like this. HP is not providing the extended warranty also and its creating the huge problem in my day to day life.                                 Yes I have tried the `function` button etc to ensure the screen is turned on.
                                I have also tried an external monitor which works fine on my non-compaq laptop.
                                The external monitor cannot see that it has been plugged into the V3000 so there is nothing coming out of the V3000 to the external monitor.
                                I have done the standard tests (battery/ac disconnected, power button down for 6+ seconds, removed and reinstalled the memory etc) - to no avail.
                                WHY IS COMPAQ selling a fundamentally defective product when it knows it is such - a waste of money.
                                Having contacted compaq regarding a free repair, guess what they said - NO.
                                Never again will I touch Compaq or HP.
                                Maybe if Compaq read these things they will realise that they should do something about the problem - especially for existing users like me who will go elsewhere.

                                I do fully agree with the compaints for compaq presario. I had Compaq presario V3424AU model with AMD Turion processor and NVIDIA graphics. within 8 months I faced problem with sound (lost). Engineers caould not do anything to this for around 1 months of my visi to the servicecentre. Finally they formatted my system, which I suggetsed. I do not not why company has kept such handicapped engineers. Is it doing mercy to the customers with these engineers? Afetr one year, display of my laptop gone to extent that the motherboard is out of order now. Whn I visited service centre at Sakinaka, Mumbai the engineer without cheking anything told me to put quotation for motherbaord (cost around 10, 000 INR) for this model. On asking he even told that it is not guaranteed that it will not show any problem in future as it has 3 months warranty. After listening this I didn't have gut to go for new motherboard with same configuration. In summary, I lost my laptop completely after 1 and half year. What is the point of making such a configuration? Simply Company does not care for the customers and in fact it is a cheater.

                                I was very happy that day as I thought that I am a proud owner of Compaq Laptop, a brand that has created its own niche by the Quality and Service provided to its customers only to get shocked in utter dismay.

                                After only 25 days of the purchase, today I think that I had committed a big mistake by choosing the brand HP/Compaq.

                                The trouble had started after the technician had installed the operating system on 29th of March 2010, during any file transfer or any operation that incurs HDD read was getting hanged. Firstly I shouted at the technician and made him to rush to my house and install a different operating system on 23/04/2010 (I had waited this long to actually see how the system responds). But to my utter shock the system responded as it was doing previously.


                                NOW THE WORST SHOCKING STORY IS THAT JUST AFTER 22 DAYS OF BUYING A BRAND NEW LAPTOP ON FULL PAYMENT I HAD TO RUSH TO THE HP SERVICE CENTER. AT Vikas Building, 1st Floor, Loudon Street, Kolkata – 700016 on 24th April 2010 on advice of “Khosla Electronics” to actually discover what is wrong with my new laptop.

                                They received the laptop, noted all the necessary details and advised me that I would be notified on Monday with the status. I do agree the I had received a sms with : -

                                “Dear MR. Paul, REF : [protected], Thanks for contacting HP. Your case is considered on priority. HDD Ordered. Kindly wait for further sms/ph update”

                                Wow, it feels great to see that I had bought a laptop with a faulty HDD Drive. And also when this sort of massive change is going to happen I at least expected to receive a call from the Service Center explaining the issue. But lastly I had TO OBLIGE MYSELF BYcalling the cust. Care to get the update
                                that THE HDD IS OUT OF STOCK AND HAD BEEN ORDERED AND IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER ODD 7 TO 8 DAYS TO GET MY REPAIRED LAPTOP BACK.

                                IS THIS THE PRODUCT QUALITY THAT I HAD EXPECTED FROM COMPAQ?

                                FURTHER WHEN I HAD CONTACTED THE SERVICE CENTER WASN’T IT THEIR DUTY TO PROCESS THIS REQUEST URGENTLY AS THIS IS ONLY A 25 DAY OLD LAPTOP.

                                Now if I Ask Compaq for a product replacement will they do it ????? I am sure they wouldn’t.

                                LASTLY I WOULD LIKE TO THANK HP/COMPAQ AND THEIR ASSOCIATES FOR THEIR ENDLESS SUPPORT IN THE PROCESS OF LOOSING MY TRUST ON THIS BRAND. Their national warranty is all bull crap, they tried to delay me as much so that the warranty period expires. Now its barely 2 years down the line the same no display problem. Service center says mother board has to be replaced for 10k. I dont have very pleasant experience with their workstations and desktop PCs either. People HP is out of my purchase list for ever . Now am trying to rip open the laptop and cannibalize the left overs and make it into a low budget desktop. If am successful i will post it here ...Oh and i forgot to mention the HP guys even took of my comments from their site forum... shameless...###$%.                                 HP Monitor (HP 2009f) purchased as a package with HP Pavilion P6373IN is dead within 8 months of purchasing.

                                Complaint lodged with HP service on 16/11/10, attended on 18/11/10, till date (18/12/10), they have no clue that they donot have a stock of the monitor.

                                Everytime a call is made to customer serivce, standard answer, SORRY NO STOCK, DONT KNOW WHEN IT WOULD COME.

                                HP — Having some Issue with the product

                                I took Hp laptop on 20th aug 2011. The Product No. - XV921PA#ACJ and Serial No.- CNFO48C33S. Now It has some problem. It's showing that cooling fan is not working properly. I called HP customer support on 7th Sep 11. They said that they will send their engineer within 3 days and they gave me on Complain No.- [protected].

                                Today I called them since it's 5th day and I've not received any information. Their executive said me that your case has been forwarded to "INTARVO" service center in new delhi. They gave me 3 phone no of the service center[protected]/ 3381438/ 3381529. I called on these no for more than 20 times but no one Picked the call but I keep calling on these no. After very long time one of the person picked the call and said me that we don't have the product that need to fix your computer. I asked him then when I can expect it. He said that he don't have any ETA for that.

                                when I contact the customer service again they gave me their Manager's no. MR. Sandeep Sharma ([protected]). I called him also but not got any proper response. No body is telling me that when my problem will be fixed. Even they don't giving me any time.

                                Please help me on this issue. To whom I should contact.

                                HP after sales service is worst. All their franchisees are worthless buggers. INTARVO service may be worst too. I gave my laptop to them in Noida near Vinayak Hospital on 9-9-2011. They have not given even a quote so far as to whats wrong and how much will be repair charges.
                                These buggers dont even lift the phone. In India, all multinationals behave like any Indian company because they know they can get away. Consumer is totally at thier mercy. Seeking help of Consumer Court is so impractical in India.

                                Don't go for buying HP Compaq products. All V3000 series a substandard product range with AMD processor, NVIDIA Graphics. Display problem is due to overheating of processor & NVIDIA Graphics failure. The same problem I am facing & service centers charging heavily & no guarantee on replacement parts as well as no assurance on service.

                                We have to sue on the company for this substandard products without quality.

                                  Unfortunately I bought a HP all in one series 2 years back with out knowing that the service center for HP products in my place is Redington. My model number is 2110 and the printer got some problems 6 months back and gave to my nearest service center which is 72 km away from my home town. My luck the printer was repaired and they charged me INR 1800. Now the same problem comes at times occasionally it prints and shows some error messages one of the message was to install the printer cartridge properly so i tried removing the black cartridge but it got stuck when i tried to pull out a small 'Y' like plastic part came out and my printer stopped permanently. My reseller told me we will go to the service center directly and get it corrected. But alas when i went there the people sitting at Calicut redington office behaved like i have committed a crime. They does know the basic of dealing with the customer, moreover they didnt contact me since a week regarding the quotation for this repair. When i told my friends at Calicut about this they told me they have stopped buying HP printers for the past one year only because the service center is REDINGTON. Now its clear from the behavior of the Redington staff that i have done a terrible crime of Buying a HP printer. The only thing i am not exchanging the printer is i have stock of two ink sets.

                                  HP — Not getting repaired our Printer by the Registered Dealar

                                  We have given our HP make Printer Model OJ PSC 1608 to above reffered company for repairing first time since purchased. The above company had issued work order No. GO/08/00948 Dated 08/09/02008 But very much regretted to say that they never bothered to do the job neither giving any satisfactory reply.We have made so many calls to them every time they are replying the parts are not available. Now we fail to understand that what is to be done, whether we forgive our Printer ?

                                  First you undersatnd what is redington and what is HP.Redington is the Authorised Service Provider for the warranty products.Without redington your our of warranty unit will be a DUMMY UNIT.becase HP is not directly supporting any out of warranty products.I am dealer at calicut and giving my 90% HP products to them for service.They are charging reasonable amount only.I can't believe they were chrged Rs.1800/- for this inkjet printer.Can you please share me the invoice copy which received from Redington.And you clearly mentined in your mail the unit is physically damaged.Who will provide the support for the breakage units??????

                                  And you mentioned the attitude of the Redington Staff.I never felt like this...may be issue form your side or redington side.I DONT KNOW THAT.

                                  As a delaer i am getting proper support from them and to be frank I am depending Redington, Calicut for my warranty customers as well as as out of warranty customers.And you believe or not, Redington is the warranty providers for number one brands like, HP, COMPAQ, LENOVO, IBM, APPLE and Motorola.

                                  your comments is 100% right.because i have good relation ship with Redington, Calicut since last 3-4 years.Normally all the employees are very much helpful for my warranty and out of warranty products.Normally they are charging a reasonable amount for the service also.In my experience they are doing good business and keeping good customer relation also.But in the service sector 100% customer satisfation is not possible eventhough they are maintaining above 90%.

                                  Mr.sreesanth, You go and buy a Canon printer and contact the Canon support center for any service related issue and compare with Redington Service.Then you can understand Redington is much much better than other company.

                                  Last month i sold around 60 PCs(Presario PC) only because of the Redington Support.

                                  I am sending the number of HP printer service center (with detail of printer) from where we have not get any positive or good response till now from last 4 month. We have impliment a common service center at Jharkhand & Bihar, so we purchage only HP printer (C4288) in bulk countity (600). Due to which 20 HP printers are bad condition here.                                   Sir, Please infor me HP Printer : HP Deskjet 1280 Serial No CN63L8511X Service Center .
                                  HP Support & Service is really worse. We are hanging up with HP support for more than a month and till now we have not got any support. HP is saying that post warranty support is not provided. The only suggestion that we got from HP is to buy a new HP printer at 30% discount. Does HP means to say that their customer needs to buy a new printer every year ? Why don't HP Sales team update their customer with this post warranty support norms while selling their printer. If they do it, people will automatically stop buying printer from them.

                                  We got our black&white and Colour cartridges replaced somewhere in the mid of October'2009. Upon replacement, printer is not working. The cartridge dealer says that printer has some problem. However, he could not reply to our question on how it was working earlier. We called up HP support and briefed them about the problem. They are simply saying they could not help and they are asking us to carry the printer to their service center even for checking it up. Even for normal DVD players at our home, the service guys come home and do the checking & minor repair work. If there is any major problem, they ask our permission to take it to the service center and get it repaired there. They may charge a fee of Rs.100 to Rs.250 for onside support outside warranty period.

                                  We have logged support calls and have repeatedly followed up the support calls at the Chennai level, Indian regional level, Asia region level and as well as at global level. Everybody keep throwing the ball on the other persons court and are not helping us to get the problem solved. We are not happy with HPs policy of advising the customer to buy a new printer after warranty expiry or asking them to carry the heavy printer to their service center by themselves. Why not HP provide post warranty support in the same manner as how the other electronic gadget support & service is provided?

                                  I registered a complain with hp customer care. The service centrefor my area, Varad Electronics, sent an engineer who decided to replace the printer under warranty. An email to this effect was sent to me by hp customer care. I am still awaiting the replacement but I have already received an email from customer care that the replacement has been delivered and my.complain is closed

                                  I bought HP cartage from SRI KRISHNA COMPUTERS in ahmedbad,HP company said that 424 print can be print out from it but after 50 printout,there is some problem in cartage,so I went to the HP service center they said there is no inkin it ,and SRI KRISHAN COMPUTERS said that only 50 printots can be carried from this and company said it's 425 , NOW I UNDERSTAND I AM CHEATED FROM SRI KRISHNA COMPUTERS !!!

In this connection i have requested several times but no action has been taken till today.

                                  I doubt this will have any effect on HP service and or products, but I am TOTALLY displeased with the printer that I purchased from Wal-Mart a Officejet 4620. Not only did the product fail to work properly but the tech support was a game of how long are you willing to pursue this issue!!! And I must say they outlasted me with delays and you need to talk to this person, then that person, and then between switches you were put on hold until the amount of time on line finally caused me to leave frustrated with a promise that someone would call me. But guess what? They never called. I have been a loyal HP printer user since 1981. But I will junk this printer and purchase one of your competitor's printers. I am the CEO of one company and set on the board of three other corporations that employs more that 600 employes total. I will make sure this information is passed along.

                                  I purchased HP printer DJ 1050 in factory sealed condition from a dealer S.D.COMPUTRONICS Bandra west Mumbai on[protected]. This unit worked fine for exactly 13 months after which it started giving paper feed trouble. The dealer sent his technician to examine but could not rectify the fault. He then took the unit to his workshop and reported that the Logic board is needed to be replaced and that it would cost me Rs.2200/-. I agreed to spend this sum because it had some sentimental value to me. Printer duly repaired, was sent back to me with his serviceman only to find the machine giving the same problem. Now he says that it cannot be repaired because the spare parts are not available. I wonder how and why the parts for a Printer introduced in the market just a couple of years back are not available. Pl. name your Authorised Service Agent and instruct him to contact me on Mob.[protected]. I am ready to pay for service.
