I have purchased a desktop computer from Computer Planet, Bangalore during October Divali offer. As per the offer necessary payment has been made and registered with acknowledgement from HP vide redemption registration No. MKDAE 12CF4 and code No. 24826 file No. 24787. but it is surprise to note that till today i.e. 4th December 2008, no action has been taken by HP to sent the redemption offer to me.

Hence, HP should keep up his promise/offer promptly and assure that gift is sent early as poissbile.

Hello,

I have purchased high end HP laptop from bangalore, there was an offer of Kodak camera. I have registered and sent the DD of 990 rs to Hp redumption cell delhi, I have got the acknoledgement 3 months back, still i didnt receive this camera offer .

Please suggest me what whould i do? how to get this product?
I am keep sending mails daily, no response from this people.

HP — NON RECEIPT OF GIFT

Sir,
I have received letter from Innovative Incentives & Events Pvt. Ltd, SCO-171/172, 2ND FLOOR, SECTOR-8C, MADYA MARG, CHANDIGARH. Vide Ref No 23498 Dated 07.11.2008 stating that non availability of sunglasses which is due to me and they promised to deliver the gift. But in spite of several reminders they have not sent me the pending sunglasses till today. please take action against them and kindly order them to send my gift immidiately.

PLZ HELP ME
I purchased hp pavillion desktop with Srl No.CNX8460TYS on 13 Mar 2009 from Strategic Information Technologies Pvt Ltd., Dehradun.
I submitted a dreaft of Rs 999/- on 19 Mar2009 at Innovative Incentives Chandigarh.My redemption code is PMB88JEFXQ.
On 30 jun 2009 I receive an SMS that my gift has been dispatched through ELBEE WITH DOCKET nO.[protected].
Today on 21 Jul Ihave not received any gift.
I have made the following complaints to hp but to no avail:-

HP Desktop — Internet adapter problem

To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to make an complain about my desktop Pc serial nos CNX9521B73. Keep on having internet connection problem. I have called the HP hotline three times and i have been waiting for 45 to one hour each time i have called and keep telling me to wait for online technician to call me and i need to be at home to wait for them to call me. this is not going to work. we just can't wait and wait and end up it doesn't solve the problem at all!!!!

The reason that i writting this complaint is the problem doesn't get resolve after rectifying. Now i'm still facing internet connection problem. I have called our serivce provider for internet they said that there is no problem. The desktop PC keep prompting adapter error again and again. Now i willing for the helpdesk to called me at fixed the appointment for the Technician support to come down and have a look on the PC.

    hi,

    i also purchased same notebook...but i am totally shattered and dishearted aftre buying. its vista is soo solw... hp doen not provide windows xp...even if one will pay for it...i called and mailed multile times to hp if i can get xp to install instead of vista...but they simply say to download drivers from any third party site.
    such a shameful and disgusting support for hp... in future i won't buy and wont let anyone buy hp's notebook to anyone who ask me?
    i believe that campany is cheating when they are not mentioning that this particular notebook will not be compatible with xp.
    i am repenting the time wheni spend 55, 000/- on this notebook.

    i purchased HP pavilion dv 6767 tx notebook... its vista is soo solw... hp doen not provide windows xp...even if one will pay for it.. vista is very very slow and vista os does not support many software which is essencial to my syllabus.such as IIS for client-server programming.so i want to install window xp in my laptop.
    Please send me details steps to install xp in my laptop otherwise in future i won't buy and wont let anyone buy hp's notebook to anyone who ask me?
    i believe that campany is cheating when they are not mentioning that this particular notebook will not be compatible with xp.

    Hey...it is true that vista is slow on this machine...but upgrade to service pack 1 of vista...also a laptop needs maintance basically...i suggest using TUNE UP UTILITIES 2009...it lets u maintain ur machine in quite an easy way...vista also creates a lot of backups and other stuff which at most time affect system performance...i hav been using this machine for an year and it still performs superb (actually bttr dan wen i got it !! :P)...m an engineering guy n hav run quite a number of OS on it...many distribtions of linux...Ubuntu is not compatible on XPS 1530...but runs smoothly on dv6767...dont be disheartened at ur decision to buy the lap..its quite worth d money u spent... chumma do d maintanace work at regular intervals... hope this cud help u ppl out ...

      nokia melbourne care center — rude manager and lost important 1500 my pictures

      Hi my name is sevinc, i went to nokia customer service on 10th october friday about 11.54 am. I dont know staff's name but she has black hair and black eyes, middle height, middle weight but if i was to see her i would remember her..she was sitting at the 2nd desk.I gave her my phone with my messages, telephone numbers and very important 1500 pictures with some videos. I am a photographer in turkey i've been in melbourne since feb and dont have too much time.Those photos that i had were very important as i was going to use them in a art galary.As i was at the nokia care centre i asked the lady that served me what was going to happen to my photos, etc. she said not to worry that they are going to save my data at the back computer.i also have a paper to prove that, and that i will not loss any of my photos. i asked her four times if its safe for my photos and she said that they do have the facilities to save peoples photos. those photos are very very important to me which can not be returned if loss as they were very centimental.

      Today which is Tuesday the 14th of october i went nokia care centre, as i was there the service i got was very socking.My phone that i gave with all my data did no longer have any data in it.I spoke to a lady that was the manager her name was Natalie.She couldnt find my data that they promised me to save on any of the back computer of the store.She also was very rude and didn't take any liability for the situation.She basically toled me to forget about my important data and that i wouln't be able to do anything about it.I am very upset and will take this matter further if i cant get help from any one.Natalie also said i shouldn't waist my time in complaning that every thing goes to her and that she is in control.Being a manager at the nokia care centre melb does not give her the rights to treat me and other people the way she does.
      I have experinced a very bad thing today as it has affected me alot.I'm only a visitor in melbourne it is not a very good memory to go home back with.I would like my data like they have promised to be given back to me.I don't care how but i want my data back.I also have the filling that they didn't look properly to find my data.I would appricate if someone could help me

        We have visited their service centre on 24-08-06 at Kalina and met Mr. Pratik during the warranty period. He forwarded the case to Gurgaon under case no 1401841. We wrote letter as above and sent all the print out papers. After removing the print out, the paper after several days too it bleeds if there is any moisture. We request to company that for bulky items like this printer there should be onsite warranty. We lost all hopes as the gurgaon office have not communicated anything in writing and over the phone they said that the vivera ink tends to bleed in moisture and before buying you should have confirmed at the showroom. When we visited the showroom they said that for technical details to call HP consumer no. The print out with them were all laminated and no printout were taken at that moment. My friend suggested to lodge the complaint on this website. Hence we request you to look in this matter and feel cheated as to how a reputed company like HP is not taking any responsibility. I have pledged not to buy any HP computers and laptops, as their carry warranty is so time consuming and risky. For printer. I wasted one whole day at kalina with Mr. Pratik and he too couldn't understand the problem.

        I have other normal inkjet Hp printer 3745 worth Rs.3000 but that does not bleed. On this basis having faith in HP Company and products, we bought All in one worth Rs 15000.

        We request if you could assist us as there seems to be a technical fault in the printer and HP are not interested in attending the complaint.

          Hp having a worst customer support.
          They never try to provide a satisfactory solution to customer instad of that they put
          Aligation on customer.
          Even they never feel courtsy to rply.
          Plz go through trailing mail for reason behind my frustration.
          I'm feeling cheated after by hp laptop.

Plz except my humble request to refund my money by 28 nov 08 without any more bad experience.           2. I want put in you knowledge that bt & mmc is not working from day first after from last to last repair.& mmc reader is not working i have tried with many mmc.
          If its just bt driver problem not ells why its not fix in last to last repaired at that time my laptop is formatted & recovery installed by u?

          3. I'm not saying battery is faulty i'm saying one thing '' when i'm putting my laptop in switchoff condition, its battery automatically decreases 100% to 23% with in 3 days.
          That not suppose to happen.

          4. Ya speaker working but problem is cracking sound coming from speaker.

          5. Hinge scratch is coming due to manufacturing defect not because of my uses.
          & if any problem occur due to manufacturing defect it covered under warranty.

          Please don't try convince me that its my fault.

          Ya its my fault that i bought it. Just because i have a good impression with my last laptop for that i never visited your service center.

          Its is faulty product which continuously giving problem regularly.
          Sorry i'v don't have that much time i regularly visit ur centre.

          If can't help me to replace it with good one, plz let me know.

          I don't want carry this fauly product which giving me trouble from day first i purchased it
          I have paid my hard cash money.

          With ref. To your trailing mail, kindly note that i tried contacting you soon after receiving your 1st mail, but you missed to pick the phone. Again after 2 days my team member managed to speak to you and hence your email was not replied in written. Also i tried calling you today morning, but did not get any response so we are replying as per trailing mail.



          Further, kindly check point wise update >>>



          1. Hang, some application not working properly & slow processing. >>> as this is wide and open issue, this issue can be because of software as well as related to hardware. As per the primary activity engineer needs to ensure that reported issue is not related to software before ordering any hardware. And in the said notebook, as many drivers were also missing, hence engineer advised to restore the unit, but as you’ve not given them the permission to format the unit, hence unit is returned to you in the same condition.


          2. Battery backup & battery discharge it switch off condition. >>> as you are from hcl so i take this opportunity to assume that you are aware about the usage and warranty terms of battery. Engineer calibrated the battery 2-3 times and battery health test also showed as “good” and hence the battery is not replaced.In hp, we run a health test to segregate if battery is not defective and accordingly, battery is replaced. As test report of your battery health test was “good” hence it is not replaced.



          3. Bluetooth not working. >>> bluetooth driver is missing in said notebook. Engineer tried to install the driver separately, but couldn’t install. Once we restore the unit, this driver will also be restored.



          4. Mmc card reader not working. >>> engineer checked the mmc card slot by using mmc card and the slot was working smoothly. You are requested to check your mmc card reader as seems there is no functionality related issue in mmc slot.


          5. Speaker not working. >>> audio drivers were missing and engineer installed the drivers. This issue is resolved.


          6. Hinge making scratch on lower panel of screen. >>> as per the standard terms and conditions, unit is under functionality failure warranty. Reported issue is related to cosmetic and the same can be replaced on chargeable basis, if required. Pls. Advise for us to raise the quotation accordingly.

          hi, i am the most dissatisfied customer. i purchased a HP 6540 desk top which was defective and the dealer had opened the seal of the box in front of me. The hard disk was giving sound from day one, it has now crashed. till date i have not received any help from Hp, ireported the matter to Ms Shikha Jain, who instead of solving my problem misbehaved with my wife. atleast HP employees should havs tha basic manners/curtiouies while spaeking to customers. Today my 40, 000/- has gone down the drain and the product is so called in gureentee. i wish HP could take back its BOX (i cannot call it a computer) and return my hard earned money. it is the most disgraceful act i have ever faced.

            HP Compaq Desktop — LAN & SOUND CARD not working

            HP Compaq Desktop Model CQ3111IN, Serail No. INA95103DK - purchased in January 2010. In September 2010, no display problem. Which was sorted out by replacing the Motherboard in a week's time, since it was in warranty. Now after expiry of the warranty, in June 2011 alothough the desktop is working properly in all respect, however the LAN and the SOUND function suddenly stopped. Contacted HP Customer care - Case ID No. CA - 1097365 is given and I was referred to Redington (india) Ltd. for the service. I contacted them and in one day the engineer came and advised that the Motherboard has to be taken to their centre for repair, since the required CD for recovery etc. is not available, they will get it from Chennai. I had to follow it up again and reminded them, after which one person came and took the Motherboard on 05.08.2011. Today is 11.08.2011, I did not receive any response. so I had to call back. Suprisingly the person over there Mr. Mehul, gave some escapist replies, which meant that they have not touched my case. I had mailed to Redington yesterday about the same, but of no response at all. I asked Mr. Mehul to call me back in 30 minutes and tell me the status, but till now he has not called. I had to sent an SMS for reminding him. Instead of him, now at around 18.10 hrs one lady named Ujjwala called me and told that my case has been referred and it will take time. When I asked how much time? She could not specify anything. I asked whether it will be One Month? She replied - May be. Is this the way HP professionals to react to the Customers? When I called for the first time the most vital thing they informed me about the Visit Charges of Rs.750/- that they have recovered, of course by doing nothing. And the lady Ujjwala behaved in the most unprofessional manner as if she has rehearsed to do that. I had to react with a statement that I will make a complaint to HP regarding such unprofessional attitude, the reply came from her was "As you Wish, you can go ahead" and she abruptly hung up.
            I just wanted to complaint that is this the attitude of HP Csutomer Care Division? I am working in a Bank, which is also a Service Industry, I never behave like that to any of our Customer.

            Is there anything which can expedite the solution to my problem? Can the team of HP will rsolve the issue at the earliest, or should I go to some other forum? Anyone to hear?

            My Issue is yet to be resolved with HP Compaq India. Certainly good people there who are trying their hard to resolve the simple issue of Motherboard from 3rd August 2011 to till date i.e.19the August 2011. I do not have the idea whether they are manufacturing a SPECIAL MOTHERBOARD for me, that's why such a long time is being taken. I feel by this time a Rocket would have been manufactured by the scientists.

            Coordination is lacking in the service provider for which customer is aggrieved. If all the service staff of HP are busy supporting the Lokpal Bill, then I do not mind at all.
            I am waiting with all my patience.

              I have lodged a complaint (Case ID [protected]) with HP customer care for my HP Pavilion notebook dv6265us; the CS executive had instructed me to take the laptop to the Andheri Service center. The service center has quoted an amount of Rs.15850 /-as the charges for the mother board replacement. The laptop is 1.4 years old, which clearly indicates that the warranty period is over. But I am in question about the quality of the HP products specially the Notebooks, as this is not the first time I have come across this kind of issues with HP. I have a Second laptop model: Compaq 6320, in which I have faced frequent issues and almost all parts from motherboard / DVD writer / screen etc. have been replaced in this unit. I have all the Call proofs. (Thank god this product is in warranty). This is giving a bad picture of the world class image of HP Quality.



              And I had been a big fan of HP customer care, but recently while speaking to customer care for these issues, even this image got deteriorated. I spoke to a Customer care executive named VIKAS (date: 06th Oct 2008 / Time: 11; 30 am) and asked him for help, but the attitude displayed by this executive was hurting to this image and name of HP. He refused to give me customer care email ID and said he dint know the ID and banged the phone on my face. He even told me to go ahead and report to consumer court, for this issue. I assume the calls are not recorded for quality monitoring that is why the executives can behave in such manner with the customers. (I have called from [protected] to HP customer care number [protected] and navigated to Hp pavilion notebook menu on the IVR)



              The product quality of HP products seems to have gone down and sorry to say but this products seem to be nothing better than the cheap imitation Chinese products available in the market which also work for a warranty period of one year and then have to be thrown away. As for this case, I won’t be able to bear the cost of 16K for repairing this laptop. It's like a use and throw product for me now. This issue needs to be highlighted, and will take it to the necessary authorities for justice.



              We are eagerly waiting for any kind of resolution, possible from your end. As still I have some trust left in HP. Remember Customer who complains, has still some trust left in the organization, the day we lose it we will turn to some other brand without any further complaining.


              I would like to know if there is any kind of a SLA (Service Level Agreement) of responding to customers for any Case ID generated.

              I have been waiting for more than a month now for my HP Laptop 6265us case. The Laptop is still lying in the service center. I would like to bring to your notice that the HP customer care is not at all responding on my case, and this is very irritating. Even after a continuous follow up with Customer care on phone[protected] and generating case ID’s (Case ID [protected] and Case ID [protected]), On email ( sent email to in.[protected]@hp.com ) and generating a Case ID on the HP site (CCHSAP169428), I have got absolute no response from anywhere. Is this a Kind of service assurance given to a customer by HP. Let me know what other mediums I should try to get in touch with HP customer care, I will gladly try those too. I am seeking a resolution for this case, as I cannot afford to put Rs. 15850 to recover my 6265us laptop.



              For my other laptop nx6320 from the commercial series, the following case ID’s were generated and subsequently the mentioned parts were replaced. It can be observed that the motherboard had to be replaced two times in a time span of less than six months. This seriously indicates some concern in the quality of the parts installed by HP. This matter needs a serious investigation.



              I am fighting for the case of my pavilion series laptop 6265us, it’s very easy for HP to raise their hands and say that the laptop is out of warranty. But now the quality of the HP products is questionable.


              Refer case Id's below which indicate the poor quality of HP's Spares used. Parts are replaced in less than a Years's time (Since Laptop is in warranty)

              I am very sorry to inform you that hp's service is very poor and those guys are irresponsible, I have never expected such kind of attitude of HP towards their customer...
              I was in contact with them earlier also but it seems that they gives a damn towards customer relationship, i am very sorry for using such kind of language but now I cant handle this any more. I had inform them that my laptop have an internal screen damage.
              I bought this laptop from RPG cell-u-com Banglore in october 2008.
              First I went to Indore's HP service centre when the damage was very little but they told me that there is some problem with my bill because on your database it shows that my waranty was over in may 2009 then I showed them my billand tell them to repair it but they refused to do so, then i went to Banglore where I am Pursuing my MBA and at that time the damamage increased alot because i have to do alot of work on my laptop, then they told me that the damage is increased very much and the second time after talking to you I went there on 14th of August 2009 but they were closed due to some festival and they didnt mention there phone no. on the board and I also tried on the number which you gave me but no body picked my call then i found Hp service centre Banglore's number on net but the result was same. On 15th of August I left for Pune because of my internship program than yeserday I took an off from my office and went to HP Pune's service centre but they told me that the dama
              ge is so much that it will count in physical damage, if you came here earlier than we could do something but the damage is increases very much and there is also the warranty problem due to difference in purshasing date on my bill and your data base,
              just because your sevice providers didnt took any initiatives to solve my problem the damage has increases and now I cant do any thing in my laptop and because of this my working efficiency is very less.
              So just because you guys are not giving any attention to my problem now I have no other choice left but to sue HP hence I have decide to go to consumer forum and and file a case against HP and there service.

              1. Fraud billing- the date in my bill and on your database is different.

              2. providing wrong information- the address of Pune's service centre which I found on net was wrong, the service centre was shifted from there to somewhere else before one year and you guys didn't update the information.
              3. Poor customer service- Just because hp service providers made delay in repairing my laptop now the damage is increased very much.And above all to tell the exact cost of repairing a laptop they want Rs.300 for the quotation of that laptop which is under warranty.
              4. All the inconvinience happened to me because of Hp.
              I am a brand loyal customer of HP and being an engineer most of the student comes to me and ask about which laptop to purchase, in my lass around 48 students purchased an HP laptop but now they all are watching how much inconvinience i am facing because of your poor response, the same problem was happened in my friend's Acer laptop and they replace it in just 3 days.

              I totally agree that HP products have no quality . I have lost all hopes of my laptop ( HP - c797vu) being put to any good use . When selling the product i was never informed that it is not compatible with windows xp . When it started showing problems, i was told that the comp can be used only with windows vista . Let me make myself clear to HP again, i do not want to use vista . If i had to use vista i would never have opted specifically for an xp OS installed laptop . I am tired of calling up hp care and trying to get any kind of resolution from them . They give you lame reasons like they dont have the drivers .               I like to bring you the issues which i have faced all these years the major issues with my notebook. At present cardreader not functioning, Dvd r/w not working, Webcam not working. The last time i visited the HP service center situated at vizag(MAHA ELECTRONICS PVT LTD) they had replaced keyboard & touchpad .Still iam not happy with the replaced parts which are not functioning properly. This is not the first time i have visited the service center at vizag it might be around 7-8 times. Every time i am facing some or the other problem with the notebook & iam not happy with the service given by them. while every time they are replacing some or the other parts which iam not being intimated and after the service is done within short period iam facing some other problem with the notebook.Recently ieven had a problem with bluetooth. I even tried to speak to the manager at that service center for the issues related . Iam really fed up with the service given by them, & i want some person who is responsible to answer my problems which i have described above. I AM THINKING OF GOING LEGALY IF STILL MY NOTEBOOK IS NOT GIVEN IN CONDITION, WITH ALL MY PROBLEMS SOLVED.

              HP — Worst Customer Service

              I had purchased an HP notebook (HP DV-5 1221 TX) in this year, on Nov 14, 2009 i had a problem, with the laptop not getting started its hardly 5 months from the purchase & i was facing such an issue with an HP product was dissapointing. But, i went to an authorised service centre - Simtech Computronics Pvt Ltd in Sakinak Mumbai, where they have inspected the laptop & informed me that the issue seems to be with Motherboard.               Since, the Laptop is covered with Warranty they said that i have to submit my laptop to them & they would do a detailed examination & would replace the Faulty motherboard if it is the issue. They promised that i would be getting the Laptop back in few days time & now today as of 25 Nov. 2009 its more than a week & i havent received any confirmation from them regarding my laptop. Even when i am trying to call on the Contact number given on the receipt no one is answering the call.
              Can HP please explain me the reason for this unprofessional service, are all the faith & on HP product & services are false.

              while i am watching movie online or watching any video clip from YOUTUBE at that time Audio is very good, but while i am using yahoo messenger / google talk or skype messenger at that time audio is very bad, i am not able to listen opposite side person's voice, sound is cracking and breaking .

                  I got my product registered on[protected]. My redemption code is BVP101E2DS. I don't have an internet connection that was the reason I get myself registered late by almost 10 hours. If I knew the procedure before I had not purchased this printer. I will never recommend to anybody. I have alrady registered my complaint(No. CCHSAP174410 & CCHSAP175072) but got no reply.                   I have bought a HP LaserJet P1008 a few months back from a genuine HP dealer. May be two or three months back. I have an extended warranty over it too. I am completely dissatisfied with your product. I used to be a die hard Hp fan. I have been using various laptops and desktops at my office too. I am currently using 735, 1210 and 3400 etc printers at my office too. I have no complaints regarding any of these products. But this P1008 model has reduced the value of HP in my eyes. I had already complaint previously but in vain. I loved the most was the 1010 printer. But due to some unavoidable circumstances it can not be repaired. Thinking about a big brand name like HP I bought the latest printer available at the showroom which has ruined my work and all my money has got wasted after it. I wonder why a reputed company like HP would pull back a successful product like LaserJet 1010 from the market and not help me with my dumb printer P1008. I really don't understand this attitude of such a reputed company. PLease help me to get my LaserJet 1010 okay or please take back your worst product you would have ever produced, i.e. LaserJet P1008. I want the company to either repair it or else take your product back.

                      I have puchased a HP pavilion Notebook dv5-1102TU from Computer Land, Nehru Place, New Delhi on 14.10 2008 to get a Kodak Easy Share C813 Camera (8 Mega Pixel, 3X optical Zoom) free. After filling some online requirements procedure got the redemption code -8QRPOPPDBJ on 21.10.2008. Then personnally submitted the necessary documents at HP Redemption Cell counter like photocopy of the original bill, original sticker of the product serial code, redemption code and a cheque of Rs.990/- in favour of Solutions Integrated Marketing Services Pvt Ltd, on 30.10.2008 and got a copy of acknowledgment receipt. It has been written on the website that the gift will be shipped only after the payment has been realised.However, after one month of submission, the cheque has not been put up for clearance. After repeated enquiry, the redemption cell told that you have to wait. Worst, the phone no 41306700 is always busy. Whenever, you tried to contact the cell, the executives are always busy. On 20.11.2008 finally I got to talk to executive who told me to fax the photocopy of the original bill, original sticker of the product serial code, redemption code and copy of the cheque for Rs.990/. But again no reply from the redemption cell. What I will do ?

                            I've purchased a HP laptop TX1210us which suddenly stopped working yesterday, after barely one year and few month o[censored]se without notice. No longer boots up. Turns on the lights, but the screen stays deep black ...                             Dear Sir or Madam - I am contacting you at head office because Im having terrible trouble with after sales service here in Turkey.

                            If you care about my case and you wish to see the kind of problems other people are experiencing with HP in Turkey you should Google the following site - hp sikayet. Compare this to the Toshiba complaints site (for example) and you'll see what I mean.

                            I lived in the UK for a few years and knew HP as a company with excellent products and an excellent after sales service. People I knew who had HP computers and other HP products generally couldn't speak highly enough of your company.

                            On this basis, when the time came for me to purchase a new computer, I decided on HP Pavilion in August 2009, while living in Turkey and from the beginning had problems. In Turkey the equivalent cost at the time was around US $1, 000.00, a serious investment for me.

                            I describe the faults to the technical department who verify that the problem exists and in the past 4 months alone HP (Turkey) have collected the computer 6 times and it has been returned with exactly the same faults. As soon as it comes back to me I open it and within seconds I can understand it is still not working properly.

                            This just the tip of the iceberg.

                            I can't believe that the company representing you here is working in your best interests. My suspicion is that HP is being charged for work under warranty that isn't being done and that the reputation of your company is being seriously undermined here in Turkey, which, with a rapidly expanding young population is a significant potential market for a company such as HP.

                            Please contact me at the above e address and I'll be happy to send a complete report of my experiences. For myself, I desperately need a reliable computer that works properly as soon as possible so that I can earn a living.

                              We would like to bring it to your kind notice about the Service response, regarding our HP Design Jet 500 Plotter (Model C7769B) with Serial Number: SG53A9105F.

                              We had an error message in our plotter, displaying “Error 81.01” and when we tried calling customer care on 21.10.2008, we were instructed to identify what the issue was, over the phone. After that it was identified that the paper feeder motor was at fault and was told that we will be getting our quotation for service from our local (Chennai HP Service Centre) and they gave a Case No: [protected]. But to our surprise, we did not receive any quotation even after 10-15 days.

                              So on 11.11.2008, we have again called up Customer Care, where we were told that a Call Management Group (CMG) from Chennai was supposed to send us the Quotation and the Customer Care executive gave a contact number in Chennai, which is[protected]/41/40/42. When we had called up these numbers, it was Service Department, so we were told to contact the Quotation Department – Contact Person – Ms. Harini at[protected].

                              They claim to have sent us the quotation but we dint receive that. So we gave our Confirmation for paying the Service Charges of Rs. 1685/- through mail, which they received and we were informed that we will have the Service Engineer by 12.11.2008 morning.

                              On 12.11.2008, Service Engineers came to our office and gave us the Service Report which is enclosed for your reference. Payment of Rs. 1685/- has been made by us immediately and the receipt of the same is also enclosed. Just for giving the report in writing we have been charged Rs. 1685/- (as the same was told by the Customer Care executive through phone).

                              Also, we were told by the Service Engineers that they would get back to us with a test spare, using that they would check the functioning of the printer and after their confirmation regarding the spare, we need to place an order for that and after receipt have to pay for the same.

                              But neither of the above happened.

                              Today (18.11.2008, around 11.30am), when we called up the Service Number of the CMG, we were informed that the Quotation Department has not forwarded our Case for them to provide the Service. Further when contacted the Quotation Department, they claim to have sent the Quotation through courier on 14.11.2008. They were not able to give us a clear picture about the need for that Quotation. In the afternoon, around 2.45pm, we received the courier.

                              Our queries regarding this Service:
                              1. We were told, by Service Engineers that they will come back with a test spare – now we have received Quotation for purchase of new spare. What if this spare does not suit or if the plotter does not function properly?
                              2. The Quotation was sent on 14.11.2008, but it is dated 21.10.2008 with a statement saying it is valid for only 21 days from the date of Quotation.
                              3. When the Service Engineers had come to our office on 12.11.2008, how can the Quotation be prepared before that date?
                              4. Quotation includes a Service Charge of Rs. 1500/-, will be we charged one more time, if we get the spare mentioned in this quotation does not suit our plotter?
                              5. Even we were not given any proper response, when we had asked about the test spare that the Service Engineers told us, when they has mentioned the same in their Service Report.

                              We write this to know the actual Service process of HP, so that it would be easy for us to decide, well before procuring HP products in future and for making any request for Services – for the exiting HP products in our Company.

                                I wish to apply for new connection in Mohali as I got transfered from Mumbai.

                                I contacted local dealer of HP in Mohali Phase VII.

                                The vendor is very rude and inspite they have mentioned on the board that it is not mandatory to take new hot plate with the new connection he told that if we need to take new connection we need to take the new gas stove or chimney without which he resufed to give connection.

                                The rate of the new gas stove which he offered is also high as compared to the normal market.

                                So what one can do when the dealers are not providing the proper service and also speaking rudely to the general public.

                                  We had purchased the printer. PRODUCT NAME - HP LASERJET P1005, having SERIAL NO. – VNC3N30826 and the complaint was : The printer could not print properly. then: The printer was replaced by your Guwahati service centre, the details of the replaced printer is as follows;PRODUCT NAME – HPLASERJET P1006, SERIAL NO: VNC5710176.
                                  Now that the cartiage is not printing at the centre. We belive that the cartiage was misused or repalced .
                                  We are informed by your guwahati service centre that the introductory toner cartiage suppled with the purchase of the new printer holds less ink. Hence get a new cartiage.

                                  LET HP INDIA CLARIFY WHETHER THE ORIGINAL CARTIAGE SUPPLIED HAVE LESS INK COMPARED WITH THE TONER SOLD SEPERATELY. AND IS THE CUSTOMER INFORMED OF THIS FACT.

                                    Hi,
                                    I have purchased HP Laptop in Agu., 2008 with a offer of free Wifi Music Receiver. When I have been to the Official website of HP for redemption code (as par the process) it has registered me for Kodak Camara, I did spoke to the Customer Service person of the redemption agency, he adviced to follow the process mentioned in the mail sent by HP Redemption site.

                                    I did all the necessary process, and sent all documents and the DD of the required amount.

                                    After about 15-20 days they have sent my papers and the DD back to my mentioning that papers are not proper so the redemption is rejected.

                                    I spoke to the Customer Service person for about 30 mins he is just not listening and kept saying that they will not accept my claim.

                                    I did told him that I have official mail confirming me for the scheme and I did sent all necessary papers why and how they can reject my claim.

                                    There is not reply from their end, I have made more then 10 calls after that and it is more then 20 days of the first call. There is no reply from their end.

                                    I also marked a complaint to HP on their official web site, even they don’t bother to reply.

                                    I have strong feeling that HP (even after being a reputed brand in market) HP has designed this concept to fool people by such scheme which will never going to be benefited to the customers.

                                    People planning to go for HP just wait for a minute and think a company which is fooling customer at very initial stage will provide what kind of product and services once u buy their products.

                                    laptop is a huge bonus for all but every body is not financially so good to take that so this is good scheme every one must do these kind of steps this is v beneficial 4 young ones it will help us to come forward and do sm thing and they blessed the company whole life

                                      Sir i just want to say the company didn't provide or the delear is not providing me the imp. driver cd.because all other companies are providing the drivers cd to the customer.

                                      Laptop — driver's cd

                                      sir,
                                      i had taken a laptop in january8th of 2008, they had given driver's cd with the laptop, recently i formated my laptop and install driver's cd but unfortunately my bluetooth software was not working in the driver's, so kindly help me, what should i do for getting driver's cd.

                                      I bought my laptop 3 months ago.I formatted my system a month ago due to virus. then i loaded windows xp 2000. i loaded required drivers from net but none of the drivers are supporting it. i went to the shop from where i bought they said that it can support only if windows VISTA O.S is loaded. i feel its the problem of HARDWARE.I want windows XP only.Till no drivers could be available. COMPANY SHOULD PROVIDE MOTHERBOARD DRIVER CD WITH THE LAPTOPS.

                                      I don't understand why Compaq thinks that All users will use Windows Vista as operating system and if they use Xp then they will connect to internet from somewhere and then download the drivers.

                                      The F739Au is given awy with FreeDOS, that's why there is no driver CD included. However, the site did contain the drivers till a couple of months back.
                                      Search through Yahoo or Google. There are many forums where all drivers and the procedure are included.
                                      I've installed XP on my F739AU the same way. Irts working good.

                                      I bought Compaq Presarrio CQ 40 Laptop just 10 months ago. I am trying to install Windows 2003 server OS past from 4 months but it says that drivers and other applications are supported. I have not got the mother board CD or any driver CD from the outlet I purchsed it. The outlet is located in Forum Mall ground floor in Kormangala Bangalore. I am really frustated that the purpose I bought the laptop is not happening at all. There is no support of latest drivers are available on the website.

                                        Dear All,
                                        I have purchased HP Pavilion DV6799ep notebook form HP stores on 16 Oct 2008.
                                        Unwrapped powered to check product details in HP office Battery adapter is making noise, Gentlemen replaced new one and I was happy.
                                        Surprisingly new one has same beep sound after 20 days. Rushed to service center to resolve, they claimed tat it won’t come under warranty. Since this product details are not matching with HP and manufactured in Chaina.
                                        And supplied software was pirated version. System always shows it pirated and hangs after 30 minutes.
                                        Please suggest how and where I can complaint in this regard.
