I have purchased HP pavillion laptop DV6516tx model 1 year back. Before warranty period laptop stopped working. I gave to service station SICOM Dadar. As indicated by Engg. Problem was with mother board. Laptop was returned may be by repairing of mother board. again after i month same problem was faced and again laptop was given for service station. Second time also the mother board was not replaced. Then third time i gave Laptop for service station for same problem. Luckly I had opted for Extended Warranty for three years. Third time also my mother board is not replaced. I am not satisfied with HP Pavillion Laptop which is supposed to be higher version and costlier laptop. Please advice me.

      display problem

      There is a prorblem on my display settings... i dont know what has happent...
      during bookup process it is working fine... but before the login screen comes to appear.. my monitor turn to black but the CPU light remain on, , , , i tried to boot my system of safe mode also... still it is the same... help me

          I have HP Pavallion a 1518 in, Media Centre PC, Sr no.INI 6240 MQ6. There is booting problem in the PC. When we switch on the PC it boots again and again automatically. DVD writer/reader is not working properly. It is producing abnormal sound. Speakers are not working properly, some times it works, sometimes dont work. Processing speed is very slow. These problems are persisting from las 6 months. HP dealer is also not serious about the problem. Ungent action is requested.

            i have purchased hp desktpo pc and as per e mail from hp innovative redumption support ihave sent Rs.2000/- demand draft to them .upon enquiring with them they confirmed that gift would be send shortly.complaint ticket no is ZBP-105185. allmost 60 days are over.no gift is received which was supposed to reach in 3- to 45 days.kindly look into matter and arrange for gift immediatelly.sushma shyamkul

              Hi,
              I had purchased a laptop in july and as per the promotions was supposed to get a free gift i.e. a wi fi music receiver . as per the conline rules

              • Please allow 6 weeks time after receiving the required documents at HP Redemption Cell to process and send your gift "

              My documents were submitted in personal on 13th august . and its already toward the end of 8 weeks. I havent receive any notification from the redemption cell. I called so many times but they said they are processing and will send it soon but still nothing happened.
              The last time i took a laptop received the gift after 6 months and that too didnt received what was promised.

              pls look into the matter and advice what should be done

              I am Aparna soni, My father n law (PREMNATH) bought a laptop of Hp Pavillion. from croma which is located in Palm spring Center malad link road malad west mumbai, I bought this laptop on 04/02/2009. at the time of buying this laptop . company and croma executives said me that there is a offer with laptop .. that if i send a Demand Draft of RS 1500/- then I will get a music system. So my husband sent the DD of Rs 1500/- to there Delhi office

              Now its been 4 months, i didnt got any music system, and when i contact to croma personnels they are giving me different answers, now they are saying that you have to registered your production on hp website and then the redamption code, ( But When I bought this laptop from Croma No body and the executive also who were Assisting us .. didnt informed us to do this registration,
              when I went to croma they are not ready to listen and giving me excuess that thats not there thing .. its Hp Problem . now what happend One day I Visted croma .the executive called Abddul told me to speak and sought this problem from Hp only. and gave a contact number of Hp executive .. from last 1 month I have been in touch with this Hp guy Called Ashish, I spoke to him and he gave me some direct contact numbers of Hp . but they all numbers are fake .

              I have been trying to sought out this problem.. Now Ashish the HP executive, whenever i speak tohim he says send me the details like SR no and other details and I will get back to you .in next two days . but he always fail ..

              This moring when i spoke to this Hp executive Ashish, and i told him that ok .. just tel lme the producer tto get my DD back or money . so he said . .we dont refund the money ..

              I am very disturbed by this all, Even when i visited Croma couple of time they are saying its not croma thing its Hp thing .
              I dont understand, why croma peoples and management doing this thing with customer .

                Hi,

                This is with the reference of my Laptop Serial number S/N.CND7462LSL, HPL-KDO78AA#ACJ, HP520 Purchased in India on27/12/07. With care pack of extended warranty which is internationally accepted as per your customer care. Now I moved to Middle East in Oman Muscat, as find some problem in USB panel and keyboard I’ve given this for repairing to your authorized service centre IMTAC and they have issued me TRC. 6585 on 10/06/08 on now they returned my laptop on 20/07/08 saying that as I’ve purchased is from India it will not be repaired in Oman though its under warranty period of 1 year, and still 3 yr warranty pack is not started,


                I want to you to take this thing very seriously or will go to consumer court as you guys claim it to be international warranty as accepted every where in the world

                  this the main draw back for ur all laptop that u r not providing original cd of drivers u r dealer just provide write cd only, and some time these driver not run properly, i purchase ur cq60-104tu, but there r not proper wifi driver in cd given by dealer of nehru place, next time i will not suggest to my any friend to pruchase compaq, very bad, i m feeling very bad to purchase ur laptop

                  I purchased a compaq laptop from Reliance Digital Shipra Mall Indrapuram ghaziabad, Even after registering many complaints my laptop is not working properly. Costumer service manipulates us with different tricks and not able to provide us good service and laptop is still not working properly.

                    With respect to the above, I would like to bring to your kind notice that I had purchased a HP2612A Laserjet Toner Cartridge from Mudra Enterprises, No.456, 4 th Main, Coffee Board Layout, Kempapura, Hebbal.P.O. Bangalore -560 024 and opened it for use today on[protected] and to my surprise found that it was not a Genuine/Original HP Product but HP Cardboard container contained a Refilled Cartridge. The outer HPCardboard container was genuine and intact whereas the blister pack was open and was found to be stapled and fixed with gum tape. The cartridge was covered with a paper containing advertisements for other Computer products with a sticker SP-INK dated 11-03-08 on the cartridge. Mudra Enterprises are not accepting responsibility for giving a Refilled toner Cartridge in lieu of an original HP Cartridge. Therefore I would like to bring this to your kind notice to see that suitable action is initiated against this HP dealer and to see that immediate action is initiated in the matter.

                      I am the unhappy customer since I bought my laptop from HP.
                      Recently I went with a problem to

                      I have hp 2122tu notebook pc which has a light scribe dvd dual layer writer(model DS-8AZH 03C) and 512 mb Samsung ram by default.( which I have upgraded to 1.5 gb by adding 1 gb transient ram)
                      Recently I gave my laptop for dvd rom replacement at Precision informatics pvt ltd. Mumbai division.
                      The mechanics or workers( ya that’s true because they don’t deserve to be called as engineer)
                      Ppl replaced my rom at 6500/- and give a rom which was a + dvd writer without light scribe. I recognized this and argued for replacement and original writer as per specification of 2122tu notebook. So after lot of negotiation he replaced that rom with some +- supporting mitashi ram (without light scribe that found out latter). by thinking that least I can read and write disk so I give extra 500/- and took off laptop. After coming home I installed vista and then I found out that it was showing my ram as 512 mb only. And so opened notebook ram panel, and I was shocked as there was just one module of ram and that too of hynix which I never bought for my laptop.
                      So it’s clear that ‘Precision informatics pvt ltd. Mumbai division’ has stolen my original ram and replaced it with hynics 512 ram.

                      Dear I have purchased a HP Office jet Pro K550 color printer from Ms Madhav Computer ( An authorized dealer of hp), campa Cola Chowk, Ludhiana in the month of March, 2007. I faced a technical problem with the printer during Sept. 2007 and was reported to your dealer as well to your customer care centre and same was rectified with problem in the Head of the printer. After few months again the printer stopped giving prints and after that it in same position. Repeatedly I complain to the Dealer as well to your customer care but they are not responding me at all. Now I have left with only the option that I should complaint to the Vice chancellor regarding the behavior of hp dealer as well customer care and suggest not to purchase any product of hp in future. It is my request you to please look into the matter immediately as I have already suffered a lot.

                      I Have got my lapie serviced in HP mumbai service station in oct. 2007 during my training period... At that time i was having problem with my speaker.. they hav changed.. but keyboard wasnt working properly.. when i came back to baroda i noticed about keyboard.. i complaint about it nearest hp service station.. they took 750 as diagnostic fees and 900 advance... they kept my laptop for more than a month.. and then they said that they are not getting the part.. in same condition they returned it back without service... in july 2008, i gave it in Ashtech infotech pvt ltd., ahmedabad. they took 1200 as diagnostic fees n 3500 as keyboard price.. but still after more than three months.. they are telling that parts are not availabale..
                      I dont know such a big company like this hav such bad service. Due to which i buyed new lenovo lapie which is working without any problem..
                      WHY USE HP ?
                      Ethernat controller is not detecting for WAN. So required driver to install for WAN. Model is Compaq Presario C700.
                      I bought "HP pavilion slimline s3360 in desktop pc gx748aa" model computer in near about april-2008.So now change the OS Vista to XP.And wireless keyboard is also working not properly.So please change the OS and solve the problem early as possible.

                      i really regret on services provided to me by one of the hp laptop dealer, 7 months before i bought a laptop from recognised dealer Name: om sai corporation located in borivali on western express highway, just month before my laptop has some battery problem, the battery of laptop was not charging problem, so went to the dealer and spoke to him. initially he said ok your problem can be solved and told me that as battery has warrenty of 8 months so it can be done and told me to handover laptop. he called me after 4 days back and started tellling me that no sir the battery does'nt come under warrenty. and bill says that it has warrenty of a year

                      Problem - i was playing a game and suddenly i got a error message that "Display drivers stopped working", and the screen went white, then i restarted it when the windows started a message poped up " Your display drivers have been recovered successfully ", then i started to play the game again after playing for 5 mins the same error came and the screen went white, so i restarted it again but this time when i started it, it worked for 1 mins and da screen went White, so i turned off the pc and started it after 2 hours, but it didnt start it gave me white screen every time i on the laptop,

                      I gave the laptop to a local Hp agent in Srilanka and he said that my laptop NV chip need to be changed and they wont accept the warranty so they demanding us to pay the money for the repair .i brought this laptop on May 2007, this problem occurred on August 2008, Now i am living in Srilanka so it would be great if you tell me where i can renew my warranty and get it repaired in Srilanka, or do i have to bring it to Singapore for the repair and for the renewal of the warranty.

                      HP customer care is very bad. Being a leader in the indian market, it is not expected from them. I have compaq laptop which i bought two years ago. During warranty i had problem many times. Service centre people doesn't know even how to behave to a customer. I recently extended the warranty two months ago by paying in cash. At that time, i told about my unhappiness with HP services, but the lady told this time around they will not give any chance to complain. But as soon as i paid in cash, they forgot even to release warranty certificate. I have called many times but to no effect. Two months have passed since i paid the warranty amount, but i haven't got the warranty certificate. Can someone help?

                      I had purchased Compaq Presario SR5240IL( S/N INA747OGFH) Desktop PC in Januaary 2008 from M/s. Bhalla Computers, Hardwar.                       I think HP should now stop making laptops.                       In 2006, I placed an order for a customized HP laptop that cost me over $1800.00. After I received it, the operating system cannot be found on the PC. I spent over two hours on a chit chat with HP customer care while it was still under warranty. I spent time and time again over the phone with HP. The bottom line- the HP laptop was defective from day one. I mail it out to HP twice and while it was with HP, the warranty expired. Finally, they were willing to replace it early last year- 2008. I receive a replacement with a new version from the initial one I pay for. Just about a year, I call HP and ask for recovery disk since I was trying to upgrade the HD. After I received the disc. I was unable to upload the factory settings on it. I call and ask for assistance over the phone. I was asked to pay about $49.95 to get assistance over the phone or pay another ninty-nine Dollars something to renew the warranty before I can get the assistance over the phone. I have purchase several items from HP. I was ask for my name, serial number, model numbers of the laptop and a purchase order number for the recovery disk before they can pull up information for my claim. Before you knew it, one hour has gone already.
                      Right now, I am stock with no where to go because I ran out of warranty and I am on my own.
                      My purchasing information is already with HP for all the things I have bought directly from HP, but they place emphases on purchase order number even though they have these information than assisting me with those steps that will make it easier for me.
                      I am extremly dissapointed because customer care is not like I am buying something and refuse to pay.
                      I still would like for HP to make some adjustments with their services.

                      One month ago i had a problem in my laptop speaker after complaining in my nearest customer care office . They have changed speakers but from the next day the new speakers also start showing problem .
                      After i contact the office they are pretending by saying that speakers are not available.
                      every time i go to them they are giving same reason.And not attending my complaint.
                      Please solve the problem
                      We have purchased a hp laptop (Model no 510 P/n: vf633pa, S/n: CNU9283VXR) on 23 August 2009, but it was found not working on powering on. We taken the other unit of the same model. We submitted the unit for DOA to RT Service at Okhla, Delhi HP Service Center. They declined the doa & repaired the laptop, After 7 days, on 31th August 2009, we visited the service center they denied the DOA & tried to issue the repaired laptop. On testing the Laptop didn't work. On 5th September 2009, we received the call from RT Service he said that we have logged for motherboard replacement as the problem remain same. There is nobody in RT to speak over phone also. They refused to talk over phone. So the dealer has to visit the RT service center to get the things done.
                      We are asking for replacement o[censored]nit under DOA but they are working for repair under warranty. What is the solution for that? As this is the new unit, we won't like to accept the repaired laptop.

                      What 's my fault that i Chose Hp laptop? Its really astonishing the company having sky high reputation
                      is dealing such a sarcastic manner.

                      I would request the near & dears, do not purchase the HP Product & beware of warranty terms before making the purchase.
                      I have Hp Notebook and during my waranty period I deposited it to the Mumbai Service Centre on 11-12-08 for just a noise problem in the fan. They gave me back my laptop after a week making me run twice to thrice to their service centre.The laptop was fully corrected after also but I managed to work on it which was better than making rounds to their service centre. After 11 months I had to re -submit it to the service centre in Delhi. Now, the hp people are telling that the laptop was arranged unorderly during the last service and due to that my laptop's motherboard is being affected and it need to be replace, .I paid 65, 000 for this laptop and now to pay for the motherboard which I am not liable to pay because it not due to my fault. I am really frustrated situation as my Laptop’s warranty dissolved last month in September.
                      I found HP Service is very POOR!

                      I am located in Cuttack using the HP Compaq Notebook.

                        list to collect my speakers Creative 2.1 SBS A300 from him, for which I had paid your company through the DD for Rs. Of 1699/.
                        But the dealer M/S. Morex computers, Jammu has refused to give me the above said speakers, stating that he has already given the speakers along with the computer on 14.04.2008, whereas the dealer has charged Rs.1057.69+VAT Rs. 42.31 (Total Rs.1100/-)on account of the value/cost of the speakers which were given to me by the dealer. (Copy of the bill is enclosed for ready ref.)

                        Therefore when the dealer has charged for the speakers through the written note/document i.e. Challan/Cash Bill, he can not cover the Item in question under the specific terms & conditions laid down by your company on company’s Web Site WWW.H.P.Com/in/Promotions, to claim the gift items/ incentives under the gift hamper “B”, the claimant had to deposit Rs. 1699/- through DD on account of the items including the Speakers Creative 2.1 SBS A300 to be sent to the purchaser of HP pavilion desktop computer.

                        it is not understood that how can be the dealer provide the set of speakers without the fulfilling the eligibility conditions imposed by the company in which the most important condition is depositing a DD for Rs.1699/-, before the items are handed over or sent or despatched through the courier company to the purchaser of a new HP Pavilion computer. Particularly in the current situation where cost of a glass of water is being charged, therefore question of giving a free set of above said speakers by the dealer in this case, does not arise.


                        This is a case of cheating by the dealer or the incentive promoting company, and the due items have to provide me by the either party without any further dealer before the matter is taken up to the hon’ble consumer forum, at Jammu.


                        You are therefore requested to provide me the set of Speakers Creative 2.1 SBS A300 within 7 days period so that legal proceedings against your company and the dealer for a malpractice, cheating with the consumer, may be avoided.

                          We bought a brand new HP 5200N Laser Printer from one of the Authorized Distributors in Kolkata on 19th July 2008 and to our surprise the Printer is not working since the time of installation at our office. We contacted the concerned person and they informed that the printer needs to be replaced as the output is not at all satistactory. We are trying hard to get it replaced from HP but till date nothing has been done from the company. We have submitted the written complaints to the local office here in kolkata but no one is ready to provide us the proper support for the same which we expected from a company like HP.

                          We are stuck with a dead printer and our productivity is at loss because of this mess, we have to bully our distributor and the authorized person on a daily basis, but no concrete solutions is provided so far, When we talk to distributor, they say they have taken up the case and it will be replaced soon. And the same is being told by the HP Support as well.

                          Its already been more than two (2 Months) and still waiting for a day when this case will be resolved.

                          We, Exim Multimedia (India) Pvt. Ltd., situated at 51, Paddapukur Road, Bhowanipore, Kolkata - 700 020. have purchased a HP Printer, Model No. 5200n, Serial No. CNFXC28986, dated :[protected].



                          The Printer installation and printer setting (density, ink, rate label etc.) status were both found OK. Inspite of this the printing quality is very very poor, less than 100 DPI and as like Xerox copy (any Xerox copy is much better). The output received is grey in colour and not proper black.



                          A complain was made to HP Customercare - Kolkata against the Printer 5200n, case no. [protected] and they suggested to replace the Tonner Cartidge (16A). The replacement of cartridge was of no use as printing quality remained unchanged.



                          A 2nd complain was made to HP case no. [protected]. and this time they transferred the case to trisita. Mr. Kingshuk of Trisita checked the printer but could not solve the problem. He then suggested to replace the Printer Scanner.



                          Third complain was lodged with HP, case no. [protected]. and Mr. Prabitra came from Trishita and replaced the Printer Scanner, but the problem persisted. He made suggestion to replace the pRinter. His service report details are as below :



                          THE LASER & SCANNER IS REPLACED BUT PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED. THE PRINTER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED OR REPAIRED PROPERLY. tONER CARTRIDGE IS ALSO REPLACED BUT PROBLEM PERSISTS. He collected various testing printout from the printer for sending HP Customercare.



                          We were awaiting for reply from HP but no reply came either from HP or Trishita. After that we gave call to HP Customercare then Mr. BishnuS came from Trisita and again collected all testing printout from the printer, because all testing papers were missing from HP CUSTOMERCARE (they informed of not receiving any papers).



                          After waiting for long time we contacted HP Customercare Mr. Piyush Mahewari. He informed they have not received any reply from Trisita hence case is pending. He then suggested to contact Trisita, Mr. Bishnu who is looking after this case.



                          Mr. Bishnu when contacted informed that they have received a mail from HP Customercare saying the printer is O.K. and suggested that for better quality printout from this printer replace the Original HP Toner Cartridge (16A) and use Refilling Toner Cartridge (collect from local market).



                          On 10th SEPT we called HP Customercare, and had talk with Mr. Nirman Saha. He informed that the said printer is O.K. after checking all our papers . So they cannot solve our problem.



                          On the whole we are fed up after purchasing this printer. HP has not lived upto our expectations and is tarnishing its image by not solving our problem. This is not expected from a reputed company like HP. All our HP printers (4 plus, 2300, P1024, 3920, 610C etc.) which were purchased long time back are in excellent working condition.



                          We needs some special job (A3 paper size) printing solutions from this printer (Heavy Duty, Long Lasting, A3 Paper Size, 1200 DPI, High Speed Printing, High Memory etc.) also available the printer HP Authorised Dealer and suggested to purchase this printer.



                          But we cannot provide status about this printer model No 5200n to our management. So we hope you will understand our problem and without dillydallying the matter further will immediately replace our printer.



                          Request you to kindly look the matter and do the needful.



                          Your immediate action in this matter will be highly appreciated.

                              I would like to state that I had earlier purchased one HP 5610 on 30.5.2007.

                              Unfortunately, since that said printer developed with some problems, you have replaced the same by another printer.

                              So far I was using the same. But, this printer also started to give more troubles quite often. The defect of the printer is always showing errors. So I have handed over the said printer with your service centre at Pondicherry viz M/s. Maha Electronics Pvt. Ltd, Authorised HP Service centre, Pondicherry, on 13.05.2008 13:20 hours.

                              Under these circumstances, I feel that if the existing printer is replaced by you, as per service centre promise by the similar model and type of printer, the same defect may continue in future.

While lodging a hardware complain on10.03.09 we were told by the tollfree agent that the warranty has expired on 10.11.2007.                               I have an HP pavillion dv2700 special edition.Actually sometimes while typing i find the function key gets activated automatically and instead of normal alphabets the superscripts on the key board comes.eg: while pressing 'U' the superscript on the particular key that is 4 comes, similarly the others.again on restart it gets alrite. kindly suggest what to do.

                              I Have a laptop( HP make) in which I am unable to open MS word and Excel file;whenever I try to open a MSword/excel file either opening in wordpad or notepad in not readble format. When I click openwith option, MS word is not found in the list to select and open. The PC is in warranty supplied by HP dealer of Salem.                                 I have purchased a HP Pavilion series computer from Luxmi computer at Palampur Distt kangra Himachal Pradesh on dated 25-10-08 and system is out of order in warrantty period I have made the complaint on dated 21-08-09 to attend the computer and Ms. Luxmi compters assured to change the TFT but till date no action was taken .
