I am the unhappy customer since I bought my laptop from HP.
Recently I went with a problem to

Problem was that my system was getting restarted abruptly with a blue screen saying “physical dump memory” . I tried reinstalling windows vista through my recovery disk but it failed while formatting the drive continuously and I was not able to install my operating system.
When I went at the service centre at Okhla they told me that your system is out of warranty and asked me 1400 Rs for installing operating system and I agreed on that.
Just after two days I got a call from them that my RAM & DVD Drive is not working and I have to pay Rs 14000 to get my laptop repaired. When I went there with my laptop DVD Drive was working.
Due to shortage of money I asked my laptop back.
In response these people made me wait for 1 hr and 30 minutes, moreover they charged me 300 bucks and returned my laptop with some more defects, like my screen is not fitted well and some of keyboard keys are not working. I realized the defects when I came back to my home because I couldn’t check it in the service centre as I was getting late for my office. But the question is that when the problem was with the RAM and DVD then why they have tampered with the screen.
I tried to call them but nobody is picking up the call even.
It is disappointing and ridiculous on their part as they are harassing people.
Could you please get my additional defects repaired because those persons are running service centre for earning profit only.

HP Laptop 2210b — Bad ServiceResponse

Dear SirMadam,
We have raised the Purchase order on 16 th April 2008 with regards to the purchaseof two HP Laptop 2210b, via Precision Infomatic (M) PVT LTD(No-22, 1st Floor, Habibullah Road, T Nagar, Chennai) to your HP dealer, Chennai and HP accepted to deliver the same within 1 to 2 weeks.We waited for 2 weeks, but even though its not delivered in the time promised, again HP asked for additional 2 weeks time to deliver the material, now we are nearing a month since we have ordered, but the laptop has not been delivered to our Trichy office. The worst thing is that even the HP authorities are not attending the phone call which we are making for the past 4 days, and there is information from your the HP dealer side also. Our contact point is Mr. GowriShankar (gowrishankar.[protected]@hp.com) and the purchase order number raised is PO/Precision/2008-08/24. Please attend this issues at earliest and take strict actions aganist the one above who is spoiling the reputation of your prestigeous company by making the customers like me unsatisfied. Please get back to me soon on this and release the shipment at earliest and if HP dont want to proceed with our order, please intimate to us so that I can drop this and approach other brands like DELL or IBM. Please advice.

I sudeep bhandari this side wud like to bring to ur notice
about the problems i have faced at the customer care center okhla
and the workshop behind chandiwala institute of HP. The list of problems faced by me goes like

1. no feedback of my machine either through phone or sms even from HP's side.
2. no picking up of calls wen i being customer call them.
As it becums ur Duty to inform me and not my duty wen once the laptop is given to the service center to keep me informed about my machine.
3. no proper coordination between the people of workshop and the service center
4. delay in giving my product back to me so i keep loosing my warranty and no extension automatically even if the laptop
hasbeen with the HP workshop as there is no part avalability or any sort o[censored]ndue delay which is highly not exceptable.
5. mishandeling of my laptop and all the screen and the my borders of the screen are scratched and wen quetioned
they are unanswerable.
6. usage of harsh and language wich is not at all tolerrable and is giving a bad name to HP not the customer
7. 5 times motherboard replacement has been made in an years time.
no extended warranty given to me for my machine.


I know we being your customer is the weakest as we have no option left or any higher authority to look after this matter seriously
and take a great step in making the system of adminstration. I dont even know as i dont have any surety or gurantee
that this mail would even be taken in consideration or not but still the loss which has been caused on part of HP is highly shamefull
and needs to be talked over.
So this is a letter of my feedback to u about
1. the undue delay on your part
2. damages and mishandeling to machine on your part
3. loss of my machines warranty as since the time i got this laptop its full of errors not from my side
and then wen sent for repair the machines are not even despatched even if the are lying with HP
4. and lastly to teach the HP administrators atticates i mean professional ethis in dealing with their customers

HIGHLY UNSATISFACTORY services and i m definatoly sending u a legal notice in regard of defamation, undue delay
and misbehaviour on HPs Part.

Dear Support,

I would like to share my “HP experience” – my intention is not to highlight how poorly managed is HP – allegedly one of the world’s best companies, but to highlight how such “world’s best companies” are callous about customer service in India. I am doing this through your forum as I believe that it will make the necessary impact and send costly signals to companies like HP to improve their performance.

I hope that this is not an imposition on you and that you appreciate my objective and efforts.

I have an HP laptop and is not functioning since 24th October 2008. Here’s what happened – on 24th October the hard disk developed some faults and the computer failed to perform. We reported the exact problem both to our vendor and HP, with a request to get the required spare parts and repair the computer. However, the service engineer came to (simply) confirm the problem and ‘made a promise’ to get back with a solution. This was done on 3rd November 2008. Since then, I have been waiting to get my computer repaired – it has been about four weeks and all we have is amusing (and very frustrating!) excuses – for example ‘Sir the part is not available in Mumbai, we will procure from Bengaluru, please give us 3 days’ thereafter, ‘Sir the part is not available in Bengaluru, we will procure from elsewhere, please give us another 3 days’ and thereafter, ‘Sir the part is not available in India, we will procure from elsewhere, please bear with us’ and finally, ‘Sir the part is not available anywhere on the earth, however, we are hopeful to solve your problem by the end of this month’ and to top it all ‘Sir you are not the only one facing a problem, we have similar problems for the past 3 months, we are hopeful to find a solution’

I am appalled to see how well trained the HP staff is to bide time and hold customers at bay. Btw, this spare part is available on e-bay – therefore, is it not fair to expect HP to provide better service than what have? While HP makes promises of prompt service, the reality as you may have appreciated is quite different. You will agree that, all of this means that I (the customer) suffer and regret buying an HP laptop, while, life just goes on as usual at HP. At best, the HP team will continue to ‘do their job’ and at worst, HP is likely to see customers like me walking away in the future. Is this a costly enough signal for HP? I don’t know. However, if your forum highlights this grievance and helps to push HP deliver better service, I think we all will have done our little bit to improve state of affairs.

I look forward to hear from you and to your kind co-operation.

HP Laptop — bad service

Hi,

I have given my Laptop to HP Services Centre on 10/11/08 for some product servicing.your service centre people assured to return my Laptop within a weeks time after completing all the neccessary changes and repair in it but Its been almost two month and I am still awaiting to get my laptop back. I have called up to your service desk 8-10 times and use to hear the same excuse that there is some shipment delay. I am suffering loss without my laptop as I dont have another PC / System to use and I dont have any faith left in HP with your poor service quality. Also your service centre supervisor is not cooperative over phone. Trust me I'll not suggest any body in my friends and family to buy any HP product now on. I think I have written a lot and you can understand how much problem I am facing. I am hurt.

Please do the needful so that I can get my Laptop back with all the repair done.

HP — Repair of Laptop

I faced a suddenly shutdown in my laptop ( Compaq v3239 TU) and then on while putting my laptop on charge i was getting a burning smell.
I have given it for repair at Vintech Electronic System Pvt. Ltd, Pune on 12th January.
They have charged Rs 500 for detection of fault, but then these is no response after that. I am told that i would recieve a mail abt the repair cost but its been 5 days and i haven't received any update..
Kindly ensure that the details of repair are conveyed in the next few hours, a lot of my important work is being disturbed because of this.
i was purches laptop on 14th feb 2008 and i was complin for battariy problm on 28th january,

they says that your bill is face and you will not get battery you have to purches battery

but my laptop under warenty

so plz help me i want to repls my battery b'coz its under warenty

hp pavalion dv6700 gives much bad processing it purchased from ma santanu shop at varanasi they r not provided any asiistance for this i am very much suffered from this
Hi Rahul and Pankaj, i bought Compaq Presario V3424AU in June 2007. From the very day warranty expired it started giving a series of problems and, on 19-03-09, it completely become dead. when taken to Hp's authorised service centre in Kolkata, they told me that motherboard of my laptop is completely dead and needs to be replaced and that i would have to spend a minimum of Rs. 10000. they also told me that it would take them atleast 15 days to do the job and even then there is no guarenttee that they wouuld be able to return me back within 15 days or not !

if you have gone through May, 09 issue of DIGIT, then you must have already known the kind of products HP is selling in the Indian market.
I am a victim of DV2601TX. I cannot rely on anything on my laptop. It just blacks out, display disfurges, and never boots up at the first time.
I paid 13500 towards motherboard change, but still the same thing is observed. I dont know whether House of Laptops is taking me for a ride, or the DV series as expalined is really [censored]ed up.
My laptop is with me for 10 days a month and the rest of the time in Hp Care Centre.
Recently I had to extend my warranty for another 2 yrs because of this troubles.

A sincere advice to all laptop buyers, please consider DELL or Lenovo before thinking of Hp.

I really agree with the complaints listed above.I am a unhappy customer of HP lap tops.I bought one of the Hp Pavillion dv5000 from Oman.Once i came back from Oman my laptop started having problem like all sorts now ended like keeping as paper weight.My father also bought one Compaq nc6000 came from same company, surprisingly the thing also got the problem of restarting and now its not functional.The other interesting fact is that we have to claim the AMC from the nation of purchase...so funny for that i think i have to be an Omani sitizen.There is no proper reply from the so...called authorised suppliers...I think...international brand with nationalized support teammmm...I got only one think to say to all...NEVER EVER GO FOR PURCHASE OF HP LAPTOPS...IT WILL MAKE YOU END UP IN TROUBLE AND LOSS OF MONEY.

HP Pavillion Notebook-Extended Warranty — Defective Product Denial to Repair

I own a HP Pavilion Notebook DV9704TX, It was bought in last year Jul08 and is presently under extended care pack. A few days back I noticed that Hinge of its Lid-On the side where locking mechanism is fitted has got broken and decollated from inside. There was no rough use or any other physical damage to the notebook. On reporting to service centre on 03 Nov 09 they took in my notebook for inspection and told me come after two days for further info. On my revisit to the service centre to my surprise I was informed that since it’s a Physical Damage it’s not covered under warranty, On further query I was told that, "we have no such obligation to convince the customer". Thereafter I contacted the toll free-Costumer Care today and was told that they are having a review on the case and will be informed as soon as possible. During my conversation with Costumer Care executive I was informed that on rechecking he Engr from service centre has reported that there are number of physical damages and even there are some screws missing, though I have those four have screws with me and an original Service Call Report that clearly says that Hinge Broken from Inside. With above as my submission I would like to lodge a complaint for this problem being faced by me. Notebook Serial No CNF80409CS.

I tried to explain them that it is purely due to some inherent defect and since there is not even a scrach anywhere, and the part which is cracked is not acessed by the user, but to no avail as they come back with only one answer that it is physical damage, i feel helpless as cannot understand to whom to address the complaint as I am sure that what I am asking is not a part of exclusions in the terms and conditions of the Extended Service Plan that I am holding.

HP Laptop — worst service and cheating

Sir, i am sorry to say that your company service is not bad but it is the worst i have ever seen.i have been running since few months to the service centre in agra branch for certain problem in my laptop but they had simply kept my lappy with them n not returning back.i m getting so much of loss in my studies n wastage of time n money.pls take some strict action against them or else i will complaint in higher authorities........

Hello Friends i bought Compaq Presario V3424AU on July 2007 with 1 year warranty. Got the motherboard of my laptop Crashed twice within the said 1 year though properly taken care of by HP customer care. And after the warranty expired it started giving a series of problems over and over again.and on 20-12-09, it became completely dead. When taken to Hp's authorised service centre in Noida, they told me that motherboard of my laptop had crashed and needs to be replaced and that i would have to spend a minimum of Rs. 12000 and that too with only 3 months warranty. After that also it might experience problems and so i should extend its warranty to be on a safer side. I am literally hopeless now.

So people Never ever purchase HP products...why??? ask me now...
It will only cost u over n over again. HP is not at all worth the investment. Disgusting Service..really-2 irresponsible.
Hello Friends I bought a hp pavilion dv4-1241tx in 7september 2009 with 1 year warranty.After four monthe later its finger print stop to work and whole system blocked, due to this activity system not opend & fully stop. We submitted the laptop hp service center .After Six days passing he return my laptop with pirated window vista.Due to pirated windiw vista systems maximum configure&software stop the work Because original window Deleted I am literally hopeless now.

So people Never ever purchase HP products...why??? ask me now.

You can not blame the company for a particular product.I hv a lot of friends and relatives those are using hp for more than 3 yrs, they always happy with hp products ..see problem may arise from any companies any product but that means it is not that the company is bad .HP is the largest laptop computer produce They are producing millions of laptops in months, there may be 2 or 3 bad /defectives .company they always make a standard, same way competition is the another factor ..

What do you thing Ienevo or dell is producing all good laptops..I am a hardware prof. I know what are the parts used by DELL .in case of lenevo my personal advice not to purchase it now.

I am in possesion of Laptop, Model No. 6530S. The model is under warranty and since 3rd February, 2010 it is lying in HP Service Centre Dehradun for repair. However, Display Panel of the same has not been replaced after 10 days. As per the Service Centre, the same is being procured from Chennai.

Please look into the matter on priority.

Never buy any HP product, worst worst service, If there is any small problem you need pay full amount for that.

I have some question to HP team, i posted no of times but never got reply.

I requst all the people don't buy any HP product if you already buy and if there is any problem don't go HP service center becase they very big quotation than acutal product, any qusetion ping me :[protected]@gmail.com

1) Why HP is not repairing the product instead of simply replacing the product.
In my case the they are saying we don't know functionality of LCD screen
that what we just replacing instead of repair.
2) It is more than 70% of product cost, How customer can through away the
particular part even 99% is fine.
3) It is just cheating of the customers and regaining for selling of your products
again and again

HP Laptop — POOR PRODUCT & SERVICE QUALITY

PURCHASED A HP LAPTOP IN MAY 2009 , COMPLAINED ABOUT EXCESS HEATING IN NOVEMBER 2009 , VISITED SERVICE CENTRE , GOT BACK LAPTOP WITH DAMAGED MOUSE PAD AND SAME HEATING PROBLEM. MAILED H.P. , CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES , THEY PROMISED TO CHANGE THE MOTHER BOARD BUT DID NOT SEND ANY MAIL. THIS MONTH WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED I AM STILL FOLLOWING UP BUT NOW I KNOW THAT THEY ARE FREE TO TAKE ME FOR A RIDE. I HAVE ALL THE CORRESPONDENCE BUT WHAT IS THE USE.

HOW CAN I BRING THEM TO PAY FOR THEIR BAD QUALITY & IGNORENCE TO INDIAN CLIENTS.
I purchased laptop hp pavilion dv6 1204 AU WORTH Rs.42500/- and was guaranted to recieve window-7 free of cost, I perchased the laptop on dt.29/10/2009 and was supplied window-7 on 12/10/2010 which held up my system and not worked .After my complaint the company did not resapond and after my enquiry told me that this is my problem and I should solve this my-self. And make a threat that if I went to court they will deny the problem and will go to the much higher court, so that I may not be financially able to fight the case

U need to be sure to give your device to professional service centres . Usually we try to get the job done in less price and end up in more mess of situaiton . You need to also reaize if you give to these kind of service centres the confidentaillty on data and the spy ware the may install to acess you device . Always cross check about the company with whome you are going to avail the services. Make sure before they do any service ask them to provide the Technical evlaution & re confirm to them that your laptop should be up & working after it is fixed . dont forget to ask the warranty on the problem looged . software is not not covered under warranty. Before u decide about goign to service centre cross check the problem in internet fourms. It will give you a better idea about your problem . I know a company which is based in Dubai . They have the chatting facility I have used there services many times, they are professional & they charge reasonable . I think they have service centre in India also not sure . HP — Warranty repairs taking undue long time

I purchased hp compaq presario note book in Jun 2010; on 19 Oct some keys of the laptop's key board stopped functioning. I took it to the authorised service center on 19 oct itself and was told that it requires replacement of key board which shall be done in two - three days. Eight days have passed & no action. I bought a HP laptop in July with lots o[censored]pgrades and cost over $1100. Both USB ports stop working in one month. After 8 hours of calling and diagnotics, they agreed to send me a repair box but college is in session so I wanted to postpone the repair until the semester break. Now it is near the semester break so i reactivated the service ticket and asked for the repair box to be send. To my total suprise, i was told this is wear and tear and it is not covered under warrantee. I tried to reason with them that USB stop working in one month, that's a defective computer. The service manager was not reasonable and understanding. I cant believe the service quarlity of HP has sinked this low.
Any idea how can I get my computer repaired?
I bought HP laptop 3 years back and there was problem in battery, i visited nearby HP serviev centre
for replacement within warranty period. they took my complain, kept my laptop to check the battery status for 3 days and after 3 days they told to take laptop after 7 days with new battery but after 7 days they started to give many excuses and still it is pendind.

we also had the same experience. nobody is attending properly. our defective laptop is also lying with us though it gave trouble during warranty period. their service centre close the complaints without satisfying the customers. there is no address given to whom u can approach if any customer is not satisfied.hp should start recording online complaint under such situations to satisfy consumers.     I have hp 2122tu notebook pc which has a light scribe dvd dual layer writer(model DS-8AZH 03C) and 512 mb Samsung ram by default.( which I have upgraded to 1.5 gb by adding 1 gb transient ram)
    Recently I gave my laptop for dvd rom replacement at Precision informatics pvt ltd. Mumbai division.
    The mechanics or workers( ya that’s true because they don’t deserve to be called as engineer)
    Ppl replaced my rom at 6500/- and give a rom which was a + dvd writer without light scribe. I recognized this and argued for replacement and original writer as per specification of 2122tu notebook. So after lot of negotiation he replaced that rom with some +- supporting mitashi ram (without light scribe that found out latter). by thinking that least I can read and write disk so I give extra 500/- and took off laptop. After coming home I installed vista and then I found out that it was showing my ram as 512 mb only. And so opened notebook ram panel, and I was shocked as there was just one module of ram and that too of hynix which I never bought for my laptop.
    So it’s clear that ‘Precision informatics pvt ltd. Mumbai division’ has stolen my original ram and replaced it with hynics 512 ram.

    I Have got my lapie serviced in HP mumbai service station in oct. 2007 during my training period... At that time i was having problem with my speaker.. they hav changed.. but keyboard wasnt working properly.. when i came back to baroda i noticed about keyboard.. i complaint about it nearest hp service station.. they took 750 as diagnostic fees and 900 advance... they kept my laptop for more than a month.. and then they said that they are not getting the part.. in same condition they returned it back without service... in july 2008, i gave it in Ashtech infotech pvt ltd., ahmedabad. they took 1200 as diagnostic fees n 3500 as keyboard price.. but still after more than three months.. they are telling that parts are not availabale..
    I dont know such a big company like this hav such bad service. Due to which i buyed new lenovo lapie which is working without any problem..

    Ethernat controller is not detecting for WAN. So required driver to install for WAN. Model is Compaq Presario C700.

    Problem - i was playing a game and suddenly i got a error message that "Display drivers stopped working", and the screen went white, then i restarted it when the windows started a message poped up " Your display drivers have been recovered successfully ", then i started to play the game again after playing for 5 mins the same error came and the screen went white, so i restarted it again but this time when i started it, it worked for 1 mins and da screen went White, so i turned off the pc and started it after 2 hours, but it didnt start it gave me white screen every time i on the laptop,

    HP customer care is very bad. Being a leader in the indian market, it is not expected from them. I have compaq laptop which i bought two years ago. During warranty i had problem many times. Service centre people doesn't know even how to behave to a customer. I recently extended the warranty two months ago by paying in cash. At that time, i told about my unhappiness with HP services, but the lady told this time around they will not give any chance to complain. But as soon as i paid in cash, they forgot even to release warranty certificate. I have called many times but to no effect.     i bought hp pavilion dv2000 laptop on sep2008, from the begining i am not satisfied with its performance.

    In 2006, I placed an order for a customized HP laptop that cost me over $1800.00. After I received it, the operating system cannot be found on the PC. I spent over two hours on a chit chat with HP customer care while it was still under warranty. I spent time and time again over the phone with HP. The bottom line- the HP laptop was defective from day one. I mail it out to HP twice and while it was with HP, the warranty expired. Finally, they were willing to replace it early last year- 2008. I receive a replacement with a new version from the initial one I pay for. Just about a year, I call HP and ask for recovery disk since I was trying to upgrade the HD. After I received the disc. I was unable to upload the factory settings on it. I call and ask for assistance over the phone. I was asked to pay about $49.95 to get assistance over the phone or pay another ninty-nine Dollars something to renew the warranty before I can get the assistance over the phone. I have purchase several items from HP. I was ask for my name, serial number, model numbers of the laptop and a purchase order number for the recovery disk before they can pull up information for my claim. Before you knew it, one hour has gone already.
    Right now, I am stock with no where to go because I ran out of warranty and I am on my own.
    My purchasing information is already with HP for all the things I have bought directly from HP, but they place emphases on purchase order number even though they have these information than assisting me with those steps that will make it easier for me.
    I am extremly dissapointed because customer care is not like I am buying something and refuse to pay.
    I still would like for HP to make some adjustments with their services.
    I have just submitted a complaint about the HP laptop I have. I need a contact care representative and a phone number and extension number I can call and talk to directly about it.

Some problem created by fan therefore, I went to service centre at haldwani and handed over the laptop to incharge of service centre. Service centre returned the laptop after solving the problem. After two months some problem again created in laptop, when we shown the laptop again to service center Haldwani he examined laptop and reported me that the mother board of the laptop became out of order and refused the said problem.     We have purchased a hp laptop (Model no 510 P/n: vf633pa, S/n: CNU9283VXR) on 23 August 2009, but it was found not working on powering on. We taken the other unit of the same model. We submitted the unit for DOA to RT Service at Okhla, Delhi HP Service Center. They declined the doa & repaired the laptop, After 7 days, on 31th August 2009, we visited the service center they denied the DOA & tried to issue the repaired laptop. On testing the Laptop didn't work. On 5th September 2009, we received the call from RT Service he said that we have logged for motherboard replacement as the problem remain same. There is nobody in RT to speak over phone also. They refused to talk over phone. So the dealer has to visit the RT service center to get the things done.
    We are asking for replacement o[censored]nit under DOA but they are working for repair under warranty. What is the solution for that? As this is the new unit, we won't like to accept the repaired laptop.

    What 's my fault that i Chose Hp laptop? Its really astonishing the company having sky high reputation

    I have Hp Notebook and during my waranty period I deposited it to the Mumbai Service Centre on 11-12-08 for just a noise problem in the fan. They gave me back my laptop after a week making me run twice to thrice to their service centre.The laptop was fully corrected after also but I managed to work on it which was better than making rounds to their service centre. After 11 months I had to re -submit it to the service centre in Delhi. Now, the hp people are telling that the laptop was arranged unorderly during the last service and due to that my laptop's motherboard is being affected and it need to be replace, .I paid 65, 000 for this laptop and now to pay for the motherboard which I am not liable to pay because it not due to my fault. I am really frustrated situation as my Laptop’s warranty dissolved last month in September.

Morex computers, Jammu has refused to give me the above said speakers, stating that he has already given the speakers along with the computer on 14.04.2008, whereas the dealer has charged Rs.1057.69+VAT Rs. 42.31 (Total Rs.1100/-)on account of the value/cost of the speakers which were given to me by the dealer. (Copy of the bill is enclosed for ready ref.)

      Therefore when the dealer has charged for the speakers through the written note/document i.e. Challan/Cash Bill, he can not cover the Item in question under the specific terms & conditions laid down by your company on company’s Web Site WWW.H.P.Com/in/Promotions, to claim the gift items/ incentives under the gift hamper “B”, the claimant had to deposit Rs. 1699/- through DD on account of the items including the Speakers Creative 2.1 SBS A300 to be sent to the purchaser of HP pavilion desktop computer.

      it is not understood that how can be the dealer provide the set of speakers without the fulfilling the eligibility conditions imposed by the company in which the most important condition is depositing a DD for Rs.1699/-, before the items are handed over or sent or despatched through the courier company to the purchaser of a new HP Pavilion computer. Particularly in the current situation where cost of a glass of water is being charged, therefore question of giving a free set of above said speakers by the dealer in this case, does not arise.


      This is a case of cheating by the dealer or the incentive promoting company, and the due items have to provide me by the either party without any further dealer before the matter is taken up to the hon’ble consumer forum, at Jammu.


      You are therefore requested to provide me the set of Speakers Creative 2.1 SBS A300 within 7 days period so that legal proceedings against your company and the dealer for a malpractice, cheating with the consumer, may be avoided.

        We bought a brand new HP 5200N Laser Printer from one of the Authorized Distributors in Kolkata on 19th July 2008 and to our surprise the Printer is not working since the time of installation at our office. We contacted the concerned person and they informed that the printer needs to be replaced as the output is not at all satistactory. We are trying hard to get it replaced from HP but till date nothing has been done from the company. We have submitted the written complaints to the local office here in kolkata but no one is ready to provide us the proper support for the same which we expected from a company like HP.

        We are stuck with a dead printer and our productivity is at loss because of this mess, we have to bully our distributor and the authorized person on a daily basis, but no concrete solutions is provided so far, When we talk to distributor, they say they have taken up the case and it will be replaced soon. And the same is being told by the HP Support as well.

        Its already been more than two (2 Months) and still waiting for a day when this case will be resolved.

        We, Exim Multimedia (India) Pvt. Ltd., situated at 51, Paddapukur Road, Bhowanipore, Kolkata - 700 020. have purchased a HP Printer, Model No. 5200n, Serial No. CNFXC28986, dated :[protected].



        The Printer installation and printer setting (density, ink, rate label etc.) status were both found OK. Inspite of this the printing quality is very very poor, less than 100 DPI and as like Xerox copy (any Xerox copy is much better). The output received is grey in colour and not proper black.



        A complain was made to HP Customercare - Kolkata against the Printer 5200n, case no. [protected] and they suggested to replace the Tonner Cartidge (16A). The replacement of cartridge was of no use as printing quality remained unchanged.



        A 2nd complain was made to HP case no. [protected]. and this time they transferred the case to trisita. Mr. Kingshuk of Trisita checked the printer but could not solve the problem. He then suggested to replace the Printer Scanner.



        Third complain was lodged with HP, case no. [protected]. and Mr. Prabitra came from Trishita and replaced the Printer Scanner, but the problem persisted. He made suggestion to replace the pRinter. His service report details are as below :



        THE LASER & SCANNER IS REPLACED BUT PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED. THE PRINTER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED OR REPAIRED PROPERLY. tONER CARTRIDGE IS ALSO REPLACED BUT PROBLEM PERSISTS. He collected various testing printout from the printer for sending HP Customercare.



        We were awaiting for reply from HP but no reply came either from HP or Trishita. After that we gave call to HP Customercare then Mr. BishnuS came from Trisita and again collected all testing printout from the printer, because all testing papers were missing from HP CUSTOMERCARE (they informed of not receiving any papers).



        After waiting for long time we contacted HP Customercare Mr. Piyush Mahewari. He informed they have not received any reply from Trisita hence case is pending. He then suggested to contact Trisita, Mr. Bishnu who is looking after this case.



        Mr. Bishnu when contacted informed that they have received a mail from HP Customercare saying the printer is O.K. and suggested that for better quality printout from this printer replace the Original HP Toner Cartridge (16A) and use Refilling Toner Cartridge (collect from local market).



        On 10th SEPT we called HP Customercare, and had talk with Mr. Nirman Saha. He informed that the said printer is O.K. after checking all our papers . So they cannot solve our problem.



        On the whole we are fed up after purchasing this printer. HP has not lived upto our expectations and is tarnishing its image by not solving our problem. This is not expected from a reputed company like HP. All our HP printers (4 plus, 2300, P1024, 3920, 610C etc.) which were purchased long time back are in excellent working condition.



        We needs some special job (A3 paper size) printing solutions from this printer (Heavy Duty, Long Lasting, A3 Paper Size, 1200 DPI, High Speed Printing, High Memory etc.) also available the printer HP Authorised Dealer and suggested to purchase this printer.



        But we cannot provide status about this printer model No 5200n to our management. So we hope you will understand our problem and without dillydallying the matter further will immediately replace our printer.



        Request you to kindly look the matter and do the needful.



        Your immediate action in this matter will be highly appreciated.

            I would like to state that I had earlier purchased one HP 5610 on 30.5.2007.

            Unfortunately, since that said printer developed with some problems, you have replaced the same by another printer.

            So far I was using the same. But, this printer also started to give more troubles quite often. The defect of the printer is always showing errors. So I have handed over the said printer with your service centre at Pondicherry viz M/s. Maha Electronics Pvt. Ltd, Authorised HP Service centre, Pondicherry, on 13.05.2008 13:20 hours.

            Under these circumstances, I feel that if the existing printer is replaced by you, as per service centre promise by the similar model and type of printer, the same defect may continue in future.

            As such I hereby request you to kindly replace the existing defective printer by another model printers (Defect free printers) of higher version, so that I may be able to prevent any problems in future.

            Moreover, please note that due to the continuous problems of both these printers, I have not used the same fully so far in the past.

                  In fact the printer was taken to service centre and they confirmed ADF defective.

                  They have raised an indent for new printer in dec. the replacement printer which was recd was in a very very old condition, in replacment to my 1 month old printer.

                  Till date nothing has been done after that .

                  I have refused to take delivery of replacement printer, and still is using my defective new printer.

                  I would like to esscalate this matter to higher ups in HP.

                    Ours is Governement of Delhi ITI at Dheerpur, Delhi 110009. We have placed suppy orders for Plotter and Laser Printers of HP through NICSI, a Govt. of India organisation, in March 2008.

                    Inspite of all efforts HP people have failed to install the Plotter which are demaged in condition and not supplied the Laser Printers as it is learnt that the concerned branch had lost/misplaced the supply order placed on HP by NICSI.

                    Concened HP Officer are not taking it seriously.

                    I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A DIS-ORGANISED ORGANISATION THAT TOO LIKE HP

                    I hope that some one from Top Level would take steps to solve the problem ...

                    Please note that we have an amc for HP Design Jet 430 Mono Printer. We are not satisfied with the service provided by Innovative Enterprise, Wadala, Mumbai.

                    Since last year they couldn't solve the cutter problem. Our plotter remains OFF for 20days in month due to its technical issues . After every visit Engineer asks to order the new part which will take more than 10 days to receive. Last month they asked for carriage, but after replacing it, we were facing the Plotter hanging problem.

                    Engineer who visited to rectify hanging problem(19/9/08), now asked to order Spindle Rod for the same which will take min. 10 days to receive.Till date(2/10/08) the issue is remained unsolved due to part is EX- STOCK.
                    This issue is causing our daily production as well as our bussiness.
                    If HP is UNABLE to provide after sales service or nor want to hear our complaints then we request you to stop selling the products.
                    We think that those persons are not capable of handling the plotter issues & spoiling the name of HP customer care.
                    Kindly advice.

                    Your immediate action in this matter will be highly appreciated.

                            1.my adapter was not working.in addition there was some other problem related to dvd writer, screen etc...i reported to the service center in ghaziabad for this regard. at reception i met Mr Amrish .
                            he was not ready to here my complain.his way of talking is very rude.

                            2. finaly i submitted my laptop on 30th august 2008.today is 17th september 2008 and still i recived not even a single notification.i am quite disturbed with these all these happenings and going to consumer forum.

                              1. They very rearly pick up the phones, somtimes it took 3-4 days.
                              2. staff is very rude in talking and very careless about cunsumers.
                              3. Never deliver cylinder on time.
                              4. Somtimes after 15 days of booking, they said that you did not book it and ask to book it again.
                              5. Very difficult to get cylinder from them.

                                      I have purchased HP pavillion 6000 laptop in the month of march 2008 from smart systems maharashtra pune based dealer. Under his guidence I have applied to HP redemption cell Delhi for the free gift offer of Wi-Music system in the month of April 2008. I have already forwarded the DD of rupees 500/- to delhi. Also I have registered mine and my laptop details to you through the e-mail and that you have also confirmed by sending me the reply saying your gift will be dlevered within six weaks.
                                      16 weaks are over and i am still waiting for you free gift pack.
                                      Please assist and do the needful.

                                      Even me too!

                                      I have purchased, HP Pavilion Laptop. They said i have an KODAK digital camera gift. I have sent Rs.990/- DD to them on 3 months back. And they come back and send, my gift got approved. Still i have not received it. Now these useless people are coming back and saying with junk explanation about limit of courier service to reach my postal address and they needs another 10-15 working days to do register post. (What! Are they living in any Stone Age era? )

                                      From this answer, i really doubt the this "S O L U T I O N S | D I G I T A S" company integrity. Is this a fraud company? Will i receive my gift as they said?

                                      And their service is even worst. They are not even responding to my mails.

                                      If it is not, I will file a legal issue on this company.

                                      People, please share your experience with this company, and put your hands together to kick off this kind of fraud companies.

                                        then i call up their few branch offices in bangalore most of the numbers are not valid, switched off then i called their head office number 41263366 tried atleast 20 times in 1 of duration, no one is picking up the phone, finally i managed other numbers of their customer care 41263324, 25 whihc was picked by customer care exicutive whom i had given my tracking number big surprise they had infomed that my courier has been send back to Lucknow from bangalore, when i had asked the reason no one brother to tell why ? I had given my offcial address where courier was to be delivered & office mail facility work 24 hrs to recieve couriers .

                                        After seeing such service i am totally pissed off as my fathers some cancer ayurvedic medicine was there which my relative had send from Lucknow .
