2. Vendor has promised me to deliver following items :
WEB CAM, HP HEADSET, DATA CARD, INTERNATIONAL CALLING CARD & DIARY, Which i have not received yet.

3. Although i have sent a draft of Rs 300 to Solution integrated marketing pvt ltd New Delhi on 24 Apr 2007.

4. I am really very upset with your such a lazy performance in delivering promised goods to me.

    Compaq — power Adaptor Not working Properly

    Dear Compaq CRM
    I have purchase compaq presario in july 2007 from Bhilwara Compaq Delar "Tech Point" sience last 1 month may power adaptor not working properly and Second Main Complain is I Have Complain to Bhilwara Delar Too Main Time That The Body of Laptop is continue damaged day by day .There is to many miner wholes where the left hand contact the Laptop.

    They are not give proper responce. Only says We are only provide Sales Not Service. For Service You have

    I have a compaq presario C713TU (Serial No: CND7481HF7)having OS Vista Home suffering from booting problem (windows not started after coming diaplay) since last three months.
    I have gone to Compaq service centre in Kolkata (near park street) 4 times but still my problem is not solved. Every time I go, they replaced(?) some part and tell me now it is ok and the problem is solved but within 7 to 10 days the problem come back again.
    Now I am fad up with this laptop and this time I want a clear result within this month or else I dont want this product.

    I have bought 1 laptop & finance with Bajaj in ECS. it has been rejected by bank stating mandate not received. I have asked Bajaj to send me a copy of mandate which they did not provide me. I have been charged around 2000Rs as bank charges where there was balance in my bank. It was esclated already to top officials and I did not get any positive response from them. My bank name is ABN Amro and they want mandate copy as for them they did not receive any from Bajaj. Bajaj is not able to provide me any copy of mandate too. They have sent me a copy of courier which does not state anything.
    Please can some one help me out as I am sick and tired of this. I can tell you this is pathetic service I have ever got.

    i have purchased a desktop around 7 months back after 2 months of purchase the monitor got faulty for which i complained and after lots of reminder to the service center who were taking care of the complain the monitor got replaced in 2.5 months . after 15 days of replacement the monitor again is not working properly the complaint has been launched again the enginer has visited my hose checked all the things(encluding electrical wiring)and again got the monitor faulty recient complaint no is "CAO685687" they assured again that it will be replaced in 10 days but still it is 12 days over and no responce is being provided. so i request the concern person to look into this matter and resolve the issue as the purpose of purchasing a desktop of HP was not a good dicision for us and it also creat bad impresion in the market.

    HP Compaq — Laptop not working properly frequently

    Hi,
    I have purchased the Compaq Laptop Presario V3000 about 1.5 years back. Since that time, it has NOT been working properly and every now and then, there are some or the other issues with the same. I got a good support from the Service Centre but after a certain limit, it seems that they are also helpless.
    Nowadays, the laptop heats up very fast and even there is a strange sound which comes. The speakers are not working.
    I dont know whats happening but I shall strongly say that just because people like Shahrukh Khan are the brand ambassadors of the same, PLEASE DO NOT purchase the Compaq laptops which are cheap in price and so are in quality.

    Compaq — hardware replaced under warranty

    i am having a compaq laptop of model number v3424au...couple of months ago it has no display problem.hp service provider detected it as motherboard problem...and they did replaced it . but when i asked for written details of hardware replaced, they said they are not authorised to disclose the details .
    being a consumer of product, i am entitle to know the details of the hardware replaced and should have the record.

    I have one compaq note book model no, 6211AU latop which shows the last month display problem, i shown to the laptop service center which situated in PUNE, Vintech Eletronic System Pvt Ltd.cause my laptop is under warranty period thats why i shown to him on dated 7th feb 2009, and submit the laptop for repair now till date there is no any progress from service center, and shown varioous chip reason.
    and mainly Pune authorised only service center provide like such type of service, then how can we trust on brand, if agin again service like this then you have loose your customer as own. Please take necessary action on it otherwise we choose another way.

    HP Compaq — DON'T Buy A Compaq

    As a computer professional I should have known better. After working on dozens of Compaqs for friends and in work environments, you would think I would know better. After the absolute nightmare I had with my Brother's Compaq desktop a year ago, you would think I would learn. Being a Quality Control specialist makes it even worse - I REALLY should have known better.

    I bought the Compaq laptop because I couldn't afford the extra $700 to get the Dell with the same features. I should have kept my money in my pocket, because I am left without a laptop and virtually no hope that the clunker of a lemon that I bought from Compaq will EVER function. Their stuff is JUST JUNK, pure and simple. DON'T EVER BUY COMPAQ.

    It has been a disaster from the word go. Worse, it is just the same sort of trouble you will find everywhere on the web when you type in a search for 'Compaq Complaints'.

    - tech support is a total joke. Hours spent waiting for a connect, who speaks virtually no english, and whose first statement (before anything else) is 'your laptop is out of warranty' - even when it is not. This 'out of warranty' tactic is their standard fare - just read anywhere on the net. This is fraud, and you would think that some regulatory agency somewhere would be interested in fining them or something, but I truly think that it has come down to 'Look, YOU are the who bought Compaq, you deserve what you get.'

    - tech support is from a computer illiterate who walks you through a standard set of instructions from the tech support database, with no chance of any real world kind of help.

    - The unit has never worked properly, and never will. My particular problem is that the unit shuts down randomly. Just powers off mid-task. Won't power on again until you use a paper clip to reset the unit. Eventually it crashes so hard that it just will not power up at all. Take the battery out for a few days and try again, and the cycle starts all over again.

    -ifwhen I sit through another 5 hours of agonizing tech support and if I am allowed to send the unit in for repairs, based on what I see on the web I would expect the unit to vanish into the ether - their repair records are horrible - they lose RMA computers all the time, and then refuse to acknowledge that they even recieved them.

    If you are considering buying a Compq, for whatever reason DO NOT DO IT. The products are garbage, and the company is the poster child for corporate dishonesty, low quality and unfair tactics. DON'T BUY A COMPAQ - DON'T MAKE AN EXCEPTION 'JUST THIS ONCE'.

    If it is between 'can't afford a computer' and Compaq, live without the computer - because if you buy a Compaq, you will not get a working computer, and you will just be out your money with the added bonus of a huge case of frustration. I just cannot say this enough: DON'T BUY A COMPAQ !!!

    i cannot using internet more than 10mins...after 10ins it is hanged and net connection is lost...its already check with the broad band peopl there is no problem with them then we took to the computer shoppe where we brought the system he reinstalled the Xp operating system but still the same what to do and where can i go from ...? i am from visakhapatnam.

    i want to know why companies can get away with treating ther customers like something on the end of their shoes especially currys i bought a compaq laptop afe months ago, as iam disabled and dont get out i was so happy then it started to go wrong the volume dissappeared then the whole laptop shut down completely no light nothing this went on for a few months so i called currys and ask them for a brand new one as this one was brand new no they had no intentions of handing over a brand new one or my cash, i explained i was disabled and heard crackling noises come from it then i went to lift it and got a bad shock thats when i saw all the sparks coming from it and thats what all the crackling noises were .The whole thing could have went up in flames and what chance would i have had due to my disability.so much to my disagreement i let them take it to get fixed, but that was a waste of time because it still doesnt work the thing keeps cutting off completely and the volume has gone as well now some times when by luck the volume comes back its like someone firing a machine gun, its very disturbing i got a terrible fright so i want to know who can help me get my money back as there is still plenty of months left on the guarantee, I dont see why people should be treated in this manner after they have parted with ther hard earned cash ig its faulty replace it or give a full refund, because before you know it it will be getting fixed more times than you have used it these people should be named and shamed does anyone agree .please help

    I purchased a compaq preserio laptop on 22 Dec 08 from Bhuj, Gujarat. One day unexpectedly it could not be switched on and since then it is unserviceable. Presently I am employed in Sirsa, Haryana and would like to get it rectified. Please advice what to do ?     i purchased a compaq laptop from LAPCOM, NEHRU PLACE, NEW DELHI on 03 june 2009.
    the shop owner manoj Gupta told me that there is an TATA INDICOM-HP offer available on this laptop, where in i can buy a tata indicom on concessional price.
    when i went to TATA indicom shop, they told me that the scheme is not available on this model.
    then i contacted the shop owner in nehru place. to my surprise he refused to take any kind of responsibility and also misbehaved on phone.

    HP Compaq — the laptop switches off

    hi i bought a compaq presario A900. but they have changed the model number now i belive as i was told when i bought it. its over a year and my one year warrenty is over also now. but for the past two days suddenly my laptop gets switched off. the mouse does not work at time. could someone help me pls. thank you

    This singad business school, has a mandatory purchase of laptop with the admission of the student. Now we paid the price also, when we got the laptop we got all scratched up and keyboard not working.

    When we went to managment they said that they cannot do anything about this now.. and the director of the college also said they she can not see any scratches. She also said that the keyboard is working now. So come back when the keyboard stops working. Now keyboard stops working and again starts working within some minutes...

    I know this is against law, to force someone to purchase a product which he or she doesn't want

    This singad business school, has a mandatory purchase of laptop with the admission of the student. Now we paid the price also, when we got the laptop we got all scratched up and keyboard not working.

    When we went to managment they said that they cannot do anything about this now.. and the director of the college also said they she can not see any scratches. She also said that the keyboard is working now. So come back when the keyboard stops working. Now keyboard stops working and again starts working within some minutes...

    I am able to play a file because it is showing that a sound driver is not installed.when i download sound driver realtek AC'97 it is not being installed or showing errors.pls help me to find a compactible sound driver to make my speakers active..

    sir/Madam, I have bought Laptop Model Compaq Presario CQ60-10TU from INIT SYSTEMS, COIMBATORE ( TAMILNADU ) on Feb 05, 2009.Before 3 months I had a Problem in Display.Within 6 months i had a problem like this.Because of the limited Warrenty period I have given my laptop to INIT SYSTEM Centre before 1 month.But now they are asking large amount of money to pay for service.Laptop Service Amount is little bit lesser compare with the amount that i have paid for the Laptop.I can't tolerate like this problem.Pls give solution as soon as possible.If you are doing like this no one will buy compaq.Pls try to response to the customers.I was eager to buy Compaq because of Efficiency.But the service is not satisfy to the customer...Pls Try to solve all the problems that the customer need...

    I am having problem with installing linux on my laptop, model Compaq 610, which i did buy yesterday. At the time of installation just when the system check is over the GUI mode appears asking for different options and asking about partition. The GUI is not appearing. Just a black screen appears with nothing and the system gets hanged.
    I am not able to trace the problem.I thought it would be with the memory share for graphics but I did not find any option in bios to change the share.
    Please do help or suggest me where should i go?

    HP — Fraud during the warranty period of service

    It was all started on 14 Aug 2009 when i trusted HP as brand and purchased HP laptop from Nehru Place, New Delhi. With a month on 11 Sep i started facing problem with my Web cam. I contacted their Cust care and ask for the solution.Despite telling them that the problem is with plugging the video device, they send me the link to download the new web cam and overwrite the old one. Doing that problem was not sorted out and then they ask me to restore the laptop to factory setting through F-11, they didn't inform me to save the data and my whole data was lost. I have sent the mail to HP dept complaining about this but never got any response.
    Finally i submitted my laptop to service center on 14-Sep in Okhla, New Delhi. They promise me to solve the problem with 3-4 days as they need to change the whole panel which they have ordered from Bangalore.After waiting for given period i chase them and got reply that part is still awaited and they to continue to answer this till i finally went to their service centre. After 13 days on 26-Sep i ask them to return my laptop or replace this with new one as cannot wait for any long.Their reply was because part is still awaited so we were not able to solve your problem. They ask to wait till 30 Sep and promise me to deliver the laptop by 30-Sep.On 30-Sep they delivered my laptop and took my signature on receipt where it was mentioned that my panel was changed. After checking my Laptop i find some scratches on front panel on my laptop, when it was clearly mention on receipt that their are no scratches at the time of submitting it.I find myself working in standby laptop. Within half and hour of delivery i contact the service centre and inform about the scratches, they inform me that we have only change your cam and will change the whole panel and web cam panel once we received the affected part as it is still awaited. They ask me for week time to all this. I have registerd the same complaint to Banglore center where i contacted Shekar at no[protected], they asked me to send the bills and details about the case id which i have with service center. After providing them with all these things and chasing them i have got nothing, my problem is still their.As they are in no mood to change the system.On 12 Oct i have contacted service center for the replacement of system they inform me part is still awaited. I asked them to simply replace my laptop as i cannot wait for anylong. Its been a month and you have not been able to solve te problem. After that within 15 minutes they gave me call back and inform me that they have got the part and will replace at my doorstep.

    How can it possible to arrange a part which is awaited for a month. get arranged in 15 minutes. I don't trust them anymore, please help in geting my money back as i now don't want any replacement. HP such a big brand, i have lost confidence in them. How can somebody take my signature on thing which is not their?I feel cheated in all this process as they talk my signature on receipt where it was mention that my panel has changed and arranging standby part for my new brad..I think i made a blunder by choosing such a big brand name, where nobody is ready to take the responsibility for the customer concern and are not ready to solve the problem. Every time i contact their executive they have hell lot of excuses. The worse part of all this is i have not got any satisfactory answer from any of their executive. I have escalated my problem many time through mail but have not got any response from your side.I want HP to compensate me for all this thing and or return my money which i have invested in laptop. In this whole episode i was the only person who has suffered mentally, physically and financially. Now i cannot wait for a moment to wait for a part which is awaited for 30 days. Hopefully you will take action and solve my problem to the earliestand provide me with a solution, me as customer cannot suffer anymore.

      since last oct when thakurpukur bazar HP pump ( over D H Road Thakurpukur bazar PO & PS Thakurpukur South 24 paraganas West Bengal ) got a massive face lift and new machines I a resident of behala chowrasta PO & PS Behala South 24 paraganas started taking a 2KM ride for refill.I usually used to take from HP outlet at the X-ing of D H Rd & Burdwan Rd but not from Sakherbazar pump due to rough behavior.
      recently for last 2 months the thakurpukur pump is behaving abnormally

      no premix as the person in charge has gone for tiffin sometimes at 2pm sometimes at even 4 pm
      nobody will voulanteer
      they are more attentive to autos

        I bought a Printer No HP 6318 All-in-One for Rs.13000/- with 1 yr warranty. After about 30 months the printer's logic card malfunctioned...

        i complained to the Hp helpline nos...they said its out of warranty but i said i can pay for the repairs but it must be repaired as they never mentioned while selling that they have non-serviceable parts inside !

        its been more than 1 month i did not get any reply or repairs done even when the cost of the printer is so high...

        they did not even offer me another printer in exchange with this one...

          I had purcased a compac laptop on 30 december from computer solution Faridabad.Under the offer of kodak digital camara.The dealer of the company assured me that it will be delivered within six months.I have completed all the required documents with Rs.1299 cheque ( for handeling & transportation).I called the compac redemtion cell so many times to know about my claim status but they given me always wrong insufficient informationon.On 27 June they send a letter with cheque that they have rejected the claim without giving any reason.

            I purchased a HP Pavilion Laptop from Computer exchange, Park Street, Kolkatta. The service provided by the sales outlet was callous and rude. Their sole aim was to sell the product and not provide good customer service. As the outlet was dealing with so many brands, I feel that with their service they are tarnishibg the image of the brands like HP, Lenovo and others.

              I bought a Compaq Presario V3133AU notebook from a HP reseller in Trivandrum in November 2006. In December 2006, after one month of expiry of warranty, it went dead. When I enquired at the reseller's office, they told that almost all the 3133AU systems that they sold were coming back with the same complaint exactly after the expiry of the warrranty period. Is HP manufacturing such products to last just one year? I got it repaired in December after paying Rs. 6000. In January, it again had the same complaint and I had to repair it spending an equal amount. Now in March, it is again showing the same complaint. The complaint is that the screen blurs and then the system goes dead.

              I had selected Compaq taking into consideration its brand status. Now I really feel pity for my choice to have selected Compaq. Let me tell you, as an aside, one of my close friends took a Compaq PC and it too went dead exactly after 1 year. What does this prove? Luckily, it was a PC, so he could get the motherboard replaced with that of Lenovo. But mine being a notebook, I cant even do that.

              I am working in BPO to fetch an income to sustain my studies. Now, the scenario is such that I have to get money as debts to pay for the repairs of this notebook every month.

              I am about to take the notebook to HP authorized service center in Trivandrum. I do not know how long I am going to continue with this process. The worst part is that, I have exams coming up in April, and this system is affecting my exams also, as it had affected my January exams. I am really so depressed at my decision to choose Comapq.

                  My husband and I purchased a "Compaq Desktop W/ Vista" a year ago. Within the first 6 months, we had to send it off to have the hard drive replaced. 4 months later, the same thing. Again we sent it off and had the hard drive replaced. We didn't understand that since the computer had been fixed twice, why couldn't we have got another one! We had a compaq a long time ago. But, lately if we have to purchase another, it probably want be a compaq. We don't even use it that much. There was no reason for the hard drive to go bad twice. I think we just bought a lemon! Maybe their not all bad.

                    I have purchased a HP Compaq Laptop (S. No cnf713344d) on 8th July 2007 on the name of my wife Preeti Bishnoi from Suraj Chopra - Computer Park located at sector 18 Noida UP. From the next day I found a Hyphen coming on the center of the screen and I asked to change the Laptop but they guys told me that this is not a problem and please continue with this notebook. The Speed was very slow so they told me to increase the RAM. I purchased 1 GB memory card but the speed become not good enough. After 15 days a major problem came in to the notebook a full screen Horizontal line came on the right side of the Notebook and Laptop did not start. From that day I have to restart the laptop twice or thrice then it starts. I went to the service center on 19th Nov 2007 located at Sec-2 Noida by the name Elite Business Machines (p) Ltd and met to Mr. Amit who is taking care of that center. He assured me to resolve the problem. On 22nd Nov 2007 he called me to collect my Notebook Once I went to the service center he said that he have changed the LCD Screen as well as the Mother board which I don�t think he should changed without my Permission. When I came to my Home the same day (22nd Nov 2007) I faced the same problem in the Notebook that the system becomes very slowly and the same Hyphen line appeared and it became very difficult to start the system. I went again to the service center on 23rd Nov 2007 and they told me to submit the Laptop once again. On 1st Dec 2007 they send some one at my place to return the Laptop and when I started it in front the executive I saw the same problem for which they are experimenting on the Notebook. I showed the problem to the executive he agreed and taken back the Notebook at the same time and requested me not to worry. I came to know that this is again your franchise (RT Outsourcing Pvt. Ltd) and every in Delhi & NCR knows that it’s your Head office. HP IS MAKING FULL O[censored]S. He told me that I couldn�t do changed the laptop you need to leave the laptop again and we will get back to you. It was already Dec 2007 and only 6 months were left in the warranty he told me to renew the Warranty of the Laptop which is almost more than 6000rs extra expense on my shoulders for that Laptop which I am unable to use from last 6 months. I purchased this Laptop on Installment and I already paid the loan installments on it Last month but I am unable to work on this Laptop. I went back to the Computer Pak guy Suraj Chopra on 2nd of Feb2008 he told me he would do some thing. I left the Laptop at his center for 15 days and he told me that we are not getting any fault from Now and I asked him to return my Notebook on 15th Feb 2008. On the next day I have faced the same problem that the same Hyphen line coming on the center of the screen; my system is very slow and suddenly the big full screen Horizontal line came on the right side of the Notebook and Laptop did not start. After restarted 2-3 times it opened badly with a very slow speed. I have put my all efforts to resolve this problem but no one helped till yet after more than 8 months that I think a long time to take. I handover my Laptop around 6 time and I used it around 6 to 7 Hours till yet

                    Now it’s almost end of Feb 2008 and till yet I an unable to use this Laptop and I am suffering this nonsense on the daily bases. The warranty is left for next 4 months and from last 8 months what I have used I have mentioned you in detail. I am software Professional and I am unable to do my work properly and this system has been failed to resolve my purpose. I am very much frustrated with the services and highly disappointed with you guys. Now I don’t want to change my Laptop as I already suffered a lot with this Product.
                    They guys already changed the LCD Screen and the Motherboard of a new system that has been used for only 5 to 6 hours only and I don’t think there is any thing left in the system that should change now.

                    Now i am unable to open the system as there is no picture coming on the screen. Please let me know what to do

                    I have purchased a HP Compaq Laptop (S. No cnf713344d) on 8th July 2007 on the name of my wife Preeti Bishnoi from Suraj Chopra - Computer Park located at sector 18 Noida UP. From the next day I found a Hyphen coming on the center of the screen and I asked to change the Laptop but they guys told me that this is not a problem and please continue with this notebook. The Speed was very slow so they told me to increase the RAM. I purchased 1 GB memory card but the speed become not good enough. After 15 days a major problem came in to the notebook a full screen Horizontal line came on the right side of the Notebook and Laptop did not start. From that day I have to restart the laptop twice or thrice then it starts. I went to the service center on 19th Nov 2007 located at Sec-2 Noida by the name Elite Business Machines (p) Ltd and met to Mr. Amit who is taking care of that center. He assured me to resolve the problem. On 22nd Nov 2007 he called me to collect my Notebook Once I went to the service center he said that he have changed the LCD Screen as well as the Mother board which I don�t think he should changed without my Permission. When I came to my Home the same day (22nd Nov 2007) I faced the same problem in the Notebook that the system becomes very slowly and the same Hyphen line appeared and it became very difficult to start the system. I went again to the service center on 23rd Nov 2007 and they told me to submit the Laptop once again. On 1st Dec 2007 they send some one at my place to return the Laptop and when I started it in front the executive I saw the same problem for which they are experimenting on the Notebook. I showed the problem to the executive he agreed and taken back the Notebook at the same time and requested me not to worry.                     as i purchased compaq laptop (presario c700)just befor one month but not satisfied with the service and the usages as it gets very hot at the time o[censored]sing the laptop, so please go through it as early as possible.
                    I agree that HP and many other MNCs are not taking customers seriously but not because the consumer protection law is not strong. But because they know in India we are all used to this adjusting attitude as we can spend hours complaining online and going to service centres . Still we will never go to the court to complaint against these guys. I also faced a similar problem and the HP guys were not listening to me. And then i wrote a email to the service centre that if they do not rectify the problem with my computer i will go to the to the consumer forum. You will be surprised to know that the very next day i got a call from the head of their department. He requested me, not to make any complaint and he sent an engineer the day after that and rectified the problem. And from that day on their is no problem with the computer.
                    well this is also in regard hp...the rt outsourcing is seously makig us fools ...recently i gt my laptop repaired as it was not powerig on and i have been told that the motherboardhave been changed which i dont think that they have done.
                    secondly after using or at aweeks time i foun it out that my all ad/mmc/xd slots ae missing .
                    I also heard that as soon as someboy makes a complaint the guys at the otherend will log a call to chage some part(if r laptop is under warranty) and what they actually do is they just repair the old part and the new part which they have already ordered keep it with themselvesto resell it in th market.

                    My Name is Kishanrao from hyderabad. I purchaged a HP laptop with moel HP DV2601TU in the month NOv2007 in hyderabad. Came to london in Jan 2008, My laptop configuration is 3 GB ram, 1.46 GHZ Intel dual core process. Even though the speed is slow. i was facig a problem of too much heat, low battery back up and cd drive problem. When i went hyderabad in april 2008, i given my laptop to HP service centre . They have changed battery and fan upon my request they replaced internal kit completly.
                    Even now i am facing problems like sudden restart, laptop is hannging frequently. When i asked the same with HP service centre hyderabad, They are saying that is is no problem with software or hardware, we won't be able to do any thing. They simply raised their hands. After investing 50000/-, i am in a situation, not able to do any thing... please advise any boady... i am in London know...
                    Can i get any replacement for my laptop.

                    I purchased a dv6703 tx model of hp pavilion laptop,
                    product key no: XJHJ7-WBC3D-KQ2D7-9TJHX-JCPPR on march 28th 2008 from
                    an authorised dealer from Ahmedabad, since when i ve been facing
                    problems with my notebook.
                    1. From 5 days of the purchase date, 2 hours of working or even
                    less than that my laptop shuts down on its own with a drummer sound
                    which goes on for at least 10 seconds.
                    2. The speed of the laptop has been very poor considering the 2GB
                    RAM, 160GB harddisk and the promises i got at the time of purchase from
                    the dealer.

                    Within 15 days of purchase i took it to the sales person stating
                    the complaint, but was convinced by him that it is a virus and
                    formating would be the simplest solution for me. Later twice again i
                    had to take it to the dealer with the same complaint and since then
                    has followed the routine of formatting my laptop twice monthly due to
                    which storing of any data in my laptop has became impossible.
                    On 26th august my laptop was discovered to have a hard disk
                    problem by the authorised hp service centre, Ashirwad complex, Ashram
                    road, Ahmedabad. After 1 long month, on 25th of september, the hard
                    disk got replaced. And again another 10 days for a recovery dvd to
                    come from delhi service centre, all because the service centre person
                    had forgotten that i had asked him to create a recovery. And 10 days
                    later when i approached the service centre with recovery disk, i was
                    told that i should have recieved a supplement dvd with the other dvd (
                    apparently delhi hp centre had forgotten to send it). With a
                    compatable dvd, the notebook was recovered and i happily recieved a
                    well functioning laptop on 13th of october.
                    Once back to the hostel, i realise that the laptop still has the
                    same problem, the drummer sound which is really scary and shutting
                    down and restarting on its own will.
                    If this is what is called service, i have serious issues about it.
                    I am a student who needs my notebook every single moment i am working.
                    To have my work at stake from 26th august to 13th of october and with
                    the problem still persisting is nothing but pure cheating. I was even
                    denied a spare laptop from the service centre telling giving the
                    explaination of the number of procedures to be followed. It was the
                    worst service any company can give to its customer.The service centre
                    people are least interested in solving the problem. I was shocked to
                    find that even the branch manager of the place was slipping away from
                    his responsibility and was unable to give a satisfying reply to my
                    queries, all he could do was tell how helpless he was and the number
                    of procedures that are to be followed which is not at all a small one.
                    What's the service centre for if the customers have to deal with all
                    such procedures and problems?

                    Since the laptop is still under warranty, and the talented
                    engineers at the service centre have already put in their 1 and half
                    months of effort on it and that i have no more time, energy and money
                    to waste on the regular visits to the service centre, i want a piece
                    replacement. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.

                    Presario C700 ( HP laptop) — Non delivery of spare parts under guarantee

                    Hi, I have a compaq Presario C 700 which gave me a problem with the dvd drive after 1 month of purchasing the computer. I send it to the HP service centre on 28th Jan 2009 as it was under manufacturers guarantee. Have been following up with them and the only reply I get is that the spare parts are not available anywhere, we cannot commit on a date to replace the same. I have checked in the market and the drive is available if we pay for it but under guarantee there is no availability.

                    Hence your reputed product should not have poor after sales support, hence kindly advice your experience engineer to attend the complaint in my residence to know about TV tuner problem and internet excess usage.

                    Hp and compaq both are providing product of lower quality in india.I have bought a laptop compaq 6211au in 2007for 40000 Indian rupees(800$).It was stop working in 2008 only after 12 months.After replacement of mother board (which i think they have replaced with other faulty mother board.)again start giving problem within 2 months and in 2009 january my laptop stopped working completly and my warranty was over .when i tried to get replacement of mother board it was costing me around 15000.So i have used that laptop for 15 months on price of 40000 means 2666 rs per month. now price of that laptop is 0 as motherboard is not working.I have searched on internet and found thousand of reports of errors and problems for HP/compaq laptops.I think HP/compaq delibratly using low grade parts in there laptops/desktops.Indian consumers should totally boycott there products.

                      Respected sir, I gave them printer for repair in January which they took two week for repair.The fault in my printer was with CCD unit & rest of the printer was working properly.This printer belongs to Network Co. Comverse Network systems pvt.ltd. as it is network printer & it is being used by around 20 to 25 people through net,so they repaired & gave me the warranty of 1 month & same fault appeared within 20 days time but I was outside bombay so I could not complain to them,after comming back I send this printer back to HP service center,after taking 4 days time they are telling me that printer is being opened by us which is totally baseless & I am planning to register complain at consumer court. I want you to take action befor I go to consumer court.

                          We purchased a HP inkjet 1000 printer model no. BJ1000/C8179AL Serial No.-CN65M37031 from M/s Orbit Computers (D-4, Ranjeet Nagar Comm. Complex, New Delhi – 110008) via Bill No. RT-3213 Dated 24 March 2007 amount Rs.5,250/- with a manufacturers warranty of 1 year. The printer is in warranty period & was sent to Okhla work shop (Address H-26, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-III, Delhi) for repairing & were returned after about 1 month stating that the printer has been repaired. The printer was not repaired & when we set it back for repair under warranty they stated that head does not carry any warranty.

                            i had bought a hp compaq laptop last year. 3 months of very minimal use and its motherboard went off. gave it for servicing and it came back after 1 month but wih an incompatible motherboard. again gave it and another 2 months. after that the dvd drive had to b replaced. now just after the warranty is over, the motherboard has to be replaced again. HP is indeed cheating us customers by selling poor quality products.many of my friends also have had major problems with HP laptops.

                            Hi,

                            I purchased a HP Compaq Presario last year Jan and very recently faced a problem o[censored]nable to connect to internet as the ethernet driver for the model v3155au is not available having a AMD Turion processor I have checked the webpage from where the downloads are obtained but it doesnt feature the exe file for ethernet, however on the contrary the laptop does have a ethernet port.
                            Last time when I contacted the HP online assistant the person provided me a wrong driver which is not compatible and hence didn't work at all.
                            The Question as well as the frustration is!!! how HP is selling products(Laptops) without providing neccessary resources to make them fully operational and use them... here in this a case a driver which if missing seriously impairs the ability to connect to internet which is a basic requirement now-a-days.

                            Please provide the customers with neccessary resources atleast so that they can use the system which is what promised when it was bought!!!

                            My computer is also compaq 3225au. .. No driveer for windows Xp... it's a grat trouble in getting and installing the proper driver by trail and error...

                            Bought my laptop before 15 months.. so no servicing period is over... Now the battery backup is 2minutes... earlier it was 25 minutes...

                            Now i cannot even see anything..Black screen only on the screen after turning it on. Thepower and other blue lights on the laps are showing up...dont know what to do with it now...

                            I have purchased laptop cq45 205au. I want to know the actual battery back up of this model. Because my battery provides only 1 hour backup. And i heard that 6 cell battery provides 3-4 hours battery backup, is it true ?
                            I bought an HP Pavilion (dv5000 series) laptop 3.5 years ago with 3 year service plan. The first hard disk failed after 11 months, the second after another 17 months, and now again after another 14 months. Realizing my computer is a lemon and losing the will to replace the hard disk yet again, I started shopping on futureshop.ca, and looked at the refurbished laptops they had for sale (indication of poor quality, maybe). There were 9 refurbished laptops for sale, 8 of which were HP! The other was a Compaq (same company!). Yah, figures!

                            Thousands of people have purchased HP notebooks and in every series there is the problem of poor solder connections on the motherboard. I have yet to verify if it's poor solder or workmanship. Some have blamed the ban of led in solder however Panasonic and Dell notebooks function fine with it. Remember HP is not the same company as is was 50 years ago. That company is now Agilant and still produces quality products.

                              i have bought my hp notebook from Belgium. withing 6 months i started facing so many problems. the hard-disk makes a scratching sound, the dvd drive doesn't work properly, keypad gets heated up a lot and many other issues. i took my notebook to the service center and they agreed that there is a manufacturing defect, but then they said that they cannot cover it under warranty as the laptop model is not available in india. when i asked why, they said that the parts used will be different. they are simply making excuses. i have vowed never to buy hp products again. even customer service does not respond properly after registering complaint on the website. they say they will call back but they never call.
                              hp products really suck. and hp customer service sucks even more.

                              HP Notebook — Change my battery

                              I have given my notebook for some booting problem but when i get back my laptop they change my battery.Now i am faceing lot of prob;lem in my battery i always put my notebook on charge.

                              TITLE: NEVER BUY HP LAPTOP V3000

                              I strongly recommend that readers do not purchase any HP laptop Pressario V3000 computer. I purchased an HP laptop in Jan. 2007. It's screen was not open in 11th March 2008, but power is still now. My serial no. is 2CE65218CS. Company Service centers' people says it's an internal hardware problem & Charging of repair will be at least near about Rs. 20000/-. As per service charge & hardware quality, I think it is batter to purchase HCL LAPTOP which is better than HP [ a china made product, But costing high, less quality product ].
                              Really I completely agree with you. HP service center in Bangalore are really pathetic. After submitting my laptop I didnot get a quotation from them since one week. Even after calling repeatedly they says that they are going to sent me a mail soon.
                              If I dont get any response from them I am going to lodge a complaint against them tomorrow.
                              Your notebook is not covered for warranty support anywhere other than the country you purchased it in. The only exception is if you are covered under a Global Warranty Program. Have a nice day :)

                              HP Notebook — Screen loose

                              I had registered a complaint against my HP laptop that its lid is loose but the service centre people of Kolkata addressed Vikas Building, 1st Floor, 1, Dr.U.N.Bramchari Street, (Loudon Street), Kolkata 700016, Ph no.[protected] says that it is not a mechanical problem and refuses from repairing it. It is properly seen that it is a mechanical hindrance for which it is bein so loose. I have my laptop in its warranty period and they know it very well that they have to replace my display for this but they are neglecting my problem as it is surely in my favour. My job no. for the complaint was 39035 and the case no. that I launched in hp itself is [protected].
                              I request for a proper judgement and hope consumer forum will help me in doing it.

                              I have bought a Hp probook 4520s laptop on dated[protected], Suddenly after one month, its adoptor having a problem i.e. it was shot, i have gone in delhi on its service center which name is Technoland services, They just take out my laptop for 1 week only for adoptor & small display problem after 1 months another problem aries in my laptop i.e. its bluetooth hang up and closed permanently, at this time when i reached on technoland services, One of the care taker whose name is Mr. Gyan Ranjan just, Take my laptop & throw it badly, and show me a angry look, by told me that they will charge 1000 rs. cause u are complaining 2nd time and also his behaviour was very bad, I have just paid 38000for this laptop & HP persons are showing their attitude .I have just take out my laptop & now i am still facing the same problem of bluetooth, I am a working person & my posting is near by a rural area in Haryana village (In Tata power), I have not so much time to mobile here&there for this problem.Mr. Gyan having too much atitude, He have to save it and try to resolve the consumer complains not begging the money from them & unnecceasry making them fool.

                                  Hi,

                                  I bought HP laptop in last August.

                                  Last month, I was working on laptop for few minutes I closed flap of laptop and when I again opened it saw a black spot on display and rest of the display turned white.

                                  When I went to HP, they said its a physical damage and therefore will not be covered under warranty.

                                  Now I don't know what really happened to laptop, but one thing is sure that laptop has no scratches which will suggest that some external object has hit the display resulting in damage. Even company is accepting this, still they are saying that this is a physical damage.

                                  When I asked what might be causes for this ? Reply I got was... "This can happen due to wrong handling your laptop, if this is the case you won't come to know what wrong is happening but one day you may get such results" another reply I got was... "This can even happen if any one just presses the top surface of laptop(when flap is closed)". Now my question is does HP is providing flexible top surfaces rather hard one, so that anyone anytime can just put a little weight on laptop and dislay will be affected and please note this display costs Rs. 23000/-. Its not a joke.

                                  I am still not aware how my laptop's display got damaged even HP is not ready to tell me they are just claiming that this is a physical damage. Uncessarily I'll have to pay such a huge amount and moreover there is no gurantee that this won't happen next time. If anybody can help me.... I'll be grateful...

                                  with due to respect i want to say that I have purchase this lapton s.no.CFN7343NQ8 on 06 oct. 2007. I am facing the lot of problem in laptop starting from 2 months after purchase. HP sevice centre changed Hard disc three time, changed touch pad and changed changer of this laptop. with due to that reason i have to suffer so many losses and waste of time.
                                  One day I went to Hp Centre for Repair the Laptop and they suggest me that Touch Paid will change. Then I agree to change touch paid. but after change the touch pad laptop worked only 5 day then after same problem accured. then I check to Faridabad service Centre they told me Hard disc and Key Board will Change then i agree to change. I got laptop after 12 to 15 day they gave me. As I open the laptop i saw that this is not my laptop because my laptop is duel Core proccer it was the celeron. when I checked the s.No. was same. I called to faridabd Hp centre they Called me and Checked and said to me sir your laptop is celeron but I purchase the purchased the Duel Core proccer Laptop. And I also asked to Hp customer Centre they told me This serial No. laptop will sure Duel Core proccer. Please suggest me What should I do. Please help me

                                    I purchased one HP Q7551A Cartridge for HP P3005 printer. I installed the same and now it is not working properly. The print out is not legible. I contacted M/s Ingram Micro India Pvt Ltd, Cochin, the Authorized Replacement Center. But the are asking for so many documents. We the Cochin Shipyard is using more than 400 HP printers. There are cartridge problems with inkjet printers also. This has to be solved immediately.
