I purchased an HP Cartridge from your authorised dealer M/s Heemo (India) 217, Police Street, Meerut on 18-07-07, which was not in working, I approched to your dearler for replacement, they advice me to go to your authorized service centre at 115, Naya Bazar, Meerut Cantt on 24-7-07 vide Job Sheet no. 13136. More then six month passed away, but they did not replace or return the cartridge, I sent a letter to M/s HPIndia Pvt. Ltd. Gurgaon for such complaint on[protected] vide Regd.A.D. receipt no. 2924, but no action was taken by your M.D. This is my last letter for replace the cartridge HP 6615 with in 15 days, otherwise I will file suit in the District Consumer Form , Meerut for recovery of payment+ Compensation for suffered shock and agony on account of defective cartridge sold me and no action was taken after expiry of six month.

I also facing the same problem. I purchased one HP LaserJet P3005 printer cartridge HP Part No. Q7551A. The cartridge is not working properly.

    Compaq Presario Notebook Computers Model : C301
    S/N: CNDG6451DSG
    Date of Purchase:[protected]
    Dealer: AMDAL SYSTEMS; 3K, 3rd Floor, Hotel Lahori Deluxe Building, WHC Road, Dharampeth, NAGPUR - 440010
    ONE YEAR WARRANTY

    In the month of November 2007 I found that Battery backup was only about 90 minutes. I made a complaint to the dealer M/S. Amdal Systems. They installed a software in my laptop called battery meter. At that time the battery meter reading was 53%, the reading "Health Good". Hence I was told that the battery is good. There is no need to replace. Now in January 2008 I find that the battery meter shows"Change battery". At present the battery backup that I get is about 75 minutes.

    Now the dealer says, the warranty period is over.

    This implies that within the warrant period the battery had deteriorated. I made a complaint within the warrant period. I feel morally the company is under an obligation to change the battery.

    I hope I will get help from Consumer Complaint.in

      I have purchased a compaq laptop model V3604 TU on 30.11.07. With the purchase a free gift of cordless headphone was to be supplied. For the gift the registration was required to be done on hp promotion website. I did the registration part and got the confirmation on my mail that the headphone will be supplied on sending some documents and a demend draft of Rs. 800/-. I had sent all the required documents and the draft of Rs.800 in the second week of december. A redemption code was also given to me on the same mail to claim the gift. Now they have returned my draft with a letter which says that quote"we would like to inform you that we have received the hard copies of claim for the free gift offer on purchase of HP pavillion/compaq presario notebook. This is to confirm that we are unable to process your claim due to the reason mentioned below.Your claim documents are being returned to you along with this letter. Amount is wrong Rs 600/= received only." Although they have returned my draft and still say that they have received Rs.600/= only but they will not process my claim and not send my gift. On enquiry over telephone they say that what was written in the mail sent by them is irrelevant. now they will not send me the free gift. Instead they will give me a different gift which they have not disclosed in the letter and for which i have to send a different draft of Rs.600/-. All these information has been verbal only . They will not intimate this change in status in writting. It seems that HP compaq people are doing only fraud not intending to give the free gift. If they cannot provide the free gift they should shamelessly accept this . They are only cheating the customers. Kindly take up the matter with the concerned company

      compaq presario v3424au — free gifts with purchase of laptop

      i have purchased a laptop of the compaq and was promised some free gifts against the purchase subject to registration. I am having problems while registration kindly hlp and contact me at [protected].

      I have purchased a Laptop Compaq 3611 AU Serial 23C7390T5G from Esquire Associates, Thrissur, Tel No[protected], Vide Bill no 4096 on[protected].


      Later I am not able play Micro soft Midtown madness 2 and the error show is Video not avaible Cannot find Vids: IV50 de compressor.For the same I have apporached your authorised HP service centres,Cochin -Tel :[protected], and they said the problem is due graphic support and they are not able to solve the problem till date.

      I am facing the problem for the last 3 months and not satisfied with the product. If you are not able to rectify please refund the amount or replace with a new one.

      Please solve the issue at the earlist.

      compaq / C 738 TU — sound control and start up

      on[protected], i have purchased compaq note book c738tu , from apple computers, aurangabad, maharashtra, india. the sound controll box does not work, nither mute nor minimise nor increase, no effect at all. also the start up is very slow. the above said vendor showed this to the hp servise station here, but the problem is not solved.

      I bought compac laptop model 702 s/n: CND7342GC5, p/n:GS091PA#ACJ, service tag:C702TU.There was problem in my DVD drive.I shown it in the serivce center n complaint against this, they assured me to change it within 1 week, but due to technical problem they couldnot, again after 1month I went to the center, again filed complain on 30th april or 1st of may, n again my problem is not solved out.its already 2 months now.during purchase u promise for the quick service n so many things, but is this your quick service.N also i dont know whether ur going to increase the warranty period for 2 months as it is not my fault.tell me what should i do.

      i am mahendra nadha reddy.i got a problem in my compaq laptot (model :presario 3149 AU that my laptop is not switching on and my laptop is still under warrenty. so i gave my laptop in customercare in MAHA electronics pvt ltd, near annamayya circle, tirupathi, A.P.they changed my mother board and gave me but it worked only one hour.again i gave my laptop there before 18 days.the customer care people is telling still the part for ur laptop didnt came like that from past 18 days.i am in need of laptop very urgently.the service provided by Hp& compaq customer care people is very worst.next time i am going to buy ibm /sony laptops and i am telling the same thing to my friends those who want to buy laptops .i think there will be better serving will be there.

      When I turn on my laptop initially it displays 'HP INVENT' then shows 'NTLDR is missing please press ctrl+alt+del to restart' and when I press these keys it restarts and again it shows the same note.

      I had sent the DD for the free gift more than 3 months ago.

      When I emailed them 2 months after sending the DD and other documents, they replied saying that my free gift has been approved and I'd get it in 2-3 weeks.

      It's been 5 weeks since their reply now, so I contacted them again...but this time they're not responding.

      Has anyone received the free gift or is this some sort of a scam? The customer service is pathetic for a big company such as Compaq.
      I think the Hp service is worst. I have never seen such a service in my whole life. I suggest not buy HP product. I have purchased a laptop and the offer ( wifi music receiver). I have sent the draft on 30/05/2008 via courier and same was approved.On 7/29/08 you said 2 or 3 weeks more and today is 10/10/08.

      I submitted the relevant documents along with the demand draft. My redemption code no. is 2CE8133HWJ. I`m yet to receive the Headsets i was promised 5 months after the draft was sent. I now plan to file a complaint against Integrated Marketing Solutions pvt. ltd as well as HP India in a Consumer Court. It just costs Rs.100 to file a case in a consumer court and one can get refunds for legal costs if the case is one. These refunds are generally higher than what we spend in filing the case which is minimal

      I purchased the HP CARE Pack (3 years extended warranty program) which they mentioned they will give me a HP Runner Back pack free worth Rs 2200/-.

      Even I get a Certificate of HP of Exteneded Warranty.

          I am instigated to write this note because of the ill-treatment from HP, one of the foremost brands in Indian Laptop market. It was one and half years back and exactly on June19 2006, I bought a Laptop from HP. The purchase cost for HP Pavilion dv8216TX was Rs 82,000/-. HP offered only one year service for such a cost. Since the laptops could not be serviced locally like PCs, I extended the warranty period for 2 more years by paying Rs 8,000/- to make sure the service facility.

          Problems started in September 2007. Firstly, it was a line along the screen. Gradually, the number of lines increased as shown in the picture. I took the Laptop to one of the authorized service centres of HP at Thiruvananthapuram on September 26th, 2007. The solution was to replace the display panel since it was a hardware problem. Replacement was made in two weeks, but the new replacement also showed the same problem. After waiting for two more weeks for the next replacement, I contacted again on October 9th to HP Service Centre. They informed me to call HP Customer/Sales Service in Chennai but it was futile. Their only suggestion was to wait more. And the delay prolonged day by day. There was no real action from the part of HP, for the whole month of November.

          In December I received an intimation from HP Customer/Sales Service, Chennai that the system could be replaced in full. But there was no further steps from HP's part for weeks together. And at last, after three long months, the new replacement laptop came. The new Laptop is much ahead in performance and features when compared to the one I was having earlier. But, as a professional I suffered a lot. Lot of projects got pending, I skipped a few projects, my goodwill got affected, I failed to keep my promises; and these things cant be resolved easily. There's big difference doing things in time and doing it very late. From my point of view, HP should have settled the issue with in a period of two weeks; one month to the extreme.

          The HP Chennai behaved to the customer(me) in such poor ways that not to lift phones, avoid me by telling some lame excuses whenever they attend my calls or not to reply my mails etc. Note that this heinous attitude is occurred from the staff of a brand like HP which claims great tradition and quality in computer hardware manufacturing, sales and service.

          One of my closest friend had similar experience with Dell - They had promised skies while selling the product but all in vein. His system malfunctioned within 20 days of buying and got it replaced after vigorous followup of around 2 months. My friend spend more money in getting it replaced in those two months than buying a similar configuration from local market ( he had paid around 40% premium initially also over same configurations of assembled system )
          end of the day it was Trouble Plus Three times the actual cost what he spent

          My son gifted me one H&P laptop after buying it from Wellington, NZ vide Invoice Reprint 41/181579 dt 3.1o.08. It is KM830PA HP Pavilion DV6756TX and is under global warranty. It is working alright but the caps lock has stopped glowing when I operate it. Stoppage of glowing of this lock gives me immense irritation and creates confusion in composition emails.
          I sent my complaint via email two/three ago but no response has come so far.
          I request you to remove my problem at the earliest and reply the latest stature. Your silence narrates a different story of indifference and negligence. It should not happen in the case of such a reputed brand and company.

          I lodged a complaint on 27th MAY, 2009 and on 1st June, 2009 regarding non-glowing of caps lock light which gives me lots of irritation and disturbance in my work. I regret no action has been taken so far though my laptop is under global warranty.
          Its particulars are KM830PA...HP PAVILION DV6756TX...bought from Harvey Norman Computers, Wellington, NZ.. under global warranty vide Invoice 41/181579.
          I presume non-attendance of my complaint shall give out a bad impression which should not happen in any case.

          We purchase a Hewllett Packard television that is junk, the tv did not last two years.
          The tv had great feature that we like, we also had a warranty on it . The tv was replace
          but first the voice went out the part could not be found to fix it next the picture it went out.
          I'm very unhappy with it performance.

              Dear All.
              I had purchased HP pavillion dv 2601 TX on 15/01/08. from a dealer Geonet IT mall vashi sector 17 Vashi.

              It was a defective piece.

              It had a several problem such as that of getting excessive heated on the left side and the fan area and the lower left side of the screen. Many a programme would not respond, and the machine used to get hanged after that.

              After making several rounds to their customer service centre and dealers and dozens and dozens of phone calls I fianlly got a letter from their centre for replacement and i submitted the same to the dealer on the same day.

              BUT NOW, so many days have passed. I have made hundreds of calls to Hp and the dealer for asking them, 'when I will get my laptop?"
              Nobody is answering. Everybody is passing the buck.

              In my talks to various customer service officers I have demanded to talk to senior person of Authority, but they keep transferring the line and for very long time nobody answers and the answering machine comes in.

              I have made several calls and visits to their various offices in the last 16-17 days. For the last seven days I am making close to 100-150 minutes of calls to these people. My customised phone bills will testify this truth.

              THEY SIMPLY REFUSE TO TALK.

              I am trying to meet the senior person such as a manager to clear my problem since last 16 days, but no body is coming out to meet me.

              PEOPLE IN HP IF YOU ARE READING THIS, PLEASE TELL ME WHEN I WILL GET THE REPLACEMENT.

              sir , i purchased a hp pavillion notebook laptop model no. dv6516tx serial no.CNF73166LD with one year warranty sir during warranty period it was working properly but just after expire the warranty ,it start creating problem some time software problem some time hardware problem i complaints many time to hp online complaint service ,but they did not take any action regarding this matter.
              sir at present i have these problems :-
              1. about 1 monh ago i go to hp authorised service center and my problem was my laptop showing multiple images then there service man see the laptop by naked eyes and told me that your laptops screen may be damage or motherboard may be damage, then i told him that plz open it and then told be what exactly is damage and i ask one more question that is is reparable or not ? then he told me that it will take 3 month time and cost will be about 20,000 rupees if any part will be damage and also told that we do not repair any thing we just change all parts .i was totally shocked . then i came from there and go to local repair center they open all the laptop and told me that its ic is loose and due to balling method it will be repair and also told me that this problem occurs due to nvidia graphic and told its cost will be 3000 rupees then i repair it .but i remove nvidia software because it will create more problem now also if i install it ,so what i do now?

              (2) fingerprint reader is not working since 4 years ,i downland many times many version of finger print reader but not resolve my problem.

                We are facing a serious Gass scarcity issue during last couple of months. We are having doble cylinder registered. Being a Joint Family we are all together 8 member family with two childreen, we are having an requirement of a cylinder per 20 days duration. But very unfortunately we are getting only one cylinder per 35 days in a regular manner. It is day by day very difficult to survive in such condition. Though we launched the complaint many times with the issue to our distributer[protected], named- Taptrisha ) and gass services person in many occassions but there is no responses from their side.                   I have a HP dv2214tu series Notebook in warranty period (till 28th April 2008). I gave my laptop for servicing at Compaq Service Center A2/177, Safdarjang Enclave, New Delhi on 12th of January 2008 as its DVD drive was not working . Its been more than 15 days and my DVD drive has not been replaced yet. I called them 10s of time and they are saying that they received my DVD drive thrice, but every time they were faulty. Its really pathetic that how can a new DVD drive be faulty, thrice!!!!! If this is the service provided by the company like HP, which really disappointing.

                  I have bought a Compaq Presario C748 on 20th of Feb 2008 Wednesday. It comes with DOS. I bought it from FOCUZ computers , banerji Road , Near North Railway Station, Earnakulam (kochi). The reseller had installed the XP and gave it to me. After two days o[censored]se I have found that the microphone inbuilt is not working. Then i have taken it back to the reseller (Focuz) and they said they cannot do anything and suggested to go to HP service center. Then I contacted HP service and they said this Laptop is designed for Vista. I have to take the system back to the reseller and they installed Vista . Now the microphone is working ,but the display goes blank very often. I checked and told them there itself and they said it is some driver Issue. I used to get the error message pop up as the display driver stopped responding and recovered. Then they installed some driver and i trusted that the issue resolved and came back home. Once i started using it again the same display issue. I called them back and they said go to the HP service . I gave it to HP and they said 1 day for diagnose and they will say the issue next day. Next day they said that the System board is defective. Need minimum 4 days for replacement . I contacted my reseller and he said he will replace . Then i taken it to Focuz back , now they are saying they nead the carton box the laptop came alongwith (which i have never taken they loat it somewhere). With great distress i shouted to them ( I know that is of no use). Then again back to HP and they have cloased the old ticket. Now one day for diagnosis with new ticket , second day they called me and said they dont have the spare board minimum one week , board has to come from singapore. Ideally speaking I have paid 30k for something stupid from HP, neither HP or the FOCUZ computer doesn't care for that and not ready for replacement. It is the 16 th day today and i am waiting.

                  SO please never buy a COMPAQ or HP product .
                  Also people from KOCHI and EARNAKULAM or Keala never trust the FOCUZ group. When I went to buy they were polite to me ,explained i will get service even after the warrenty period and all nice stuff. But once you pay money they are the BOSS and you are NUTS. SO please don't trust the FOCUZ group.
                  Especially FOCUZ computers.

I have been using HP 550-Laptop just for last 2 months, perfomance is very poor in coparison to its configaration: RAM- 1GB, HDD-160, Processor:core2duo 1.44 GB speed, BUT whene i opareate it it is very slow.                   1. I have purchased above said laptop on 04/05/2007 from GEONET IT MALL, Mumbai.

                  2. It is very sad to say that the day I have purchased the laptop as it was unsatisfactory so, so many hardware parts have been changed by their engineer. At present it is lying unservicable and out o[censored]se.

                  I am facing various problems like the problem in the hardware of Bluetooth, BIOS, Hard Disk, RAM, problem while unable to access the Internet with bluetooth, unrecognised USB's. Sometimes while working with the laptop, it gets automatically switched off and again restarts itself, etc.

                  3. when I have visited their various centers for services, they have kept the laptop for service for more than a month and again after using it the same problem arise. Here I assure that I have to visit their service centers for more than 10 times and it could not rectified. I feel so that this laptop is an headache for me.

                  4. Keeping in above you I have purchased care pack also with an HP CARE PACK SERIAL NO. - G1NPIN027466 with an expiry date on 28/05/2009.

                  5. But it is very sad to say that recently I have visited HP Horizons Center, Karnal(Haryana, India). They have charged Rs. 550/- to solve my bluetooth problem stating that this is not a hardware problem and it is a software problem but they could not solve the above said problems.
                  Again I have visited them and this time they told me this is an hardware problem and as per stated in JOB Card they have changed the bluetooth device but the problem still persists.

                  6. I was provided with a free gift of HP Tv Tuner card with this laptop. I further assure you even though this is not working till date.

                  7. a laptop worth Rs. 53, 400/- + a care pack worth Rs. 6, 250/- and so many times amount spent to visit your various centers + various phone calls made to your HP Customer Care, did not satisfied me be your customer.

                  8. I have also emailed you earlier too on the email id: in.[protected]@hp.com but till date no response was made from this side.


                  9. Sir, Kindly send a very suitable engineer to my residence as I am being fed up by visiting your various service centers number of times so that he should identify that this laptop is not serviceable and recommend it for replacement with new one.

                  10. Sir, Please replace my laptop with new one so that I should not face above problem in near future. Hope you will provide us with the better customer service.
                  My case is exactly same as yourse. I gave my DVD writer 3.5 months ago to HP Service Center, Kolkata. They said that they recieved faulty device for four times. I am trying to take some help of consumer forum. When I gave it for seviceing it was writing CDs, reading CDs and DVDs. The only fault was it wasn't writing DVDs. I don't think that I'll get back anymore.

                  This is really a shame for such recognised brand.

                  HP-Pavilion- Tablet PC — No Responce from HP

                  The Laptop is currently with the HP service center Simtech Computronics since the 6th of Jan 2009. Last evening when I spoke to them they said that they needed to replace my mother board on less than a year old Laptop, For which the part has been ordered and is NOT AVAILABLE (As usual HP's great promise of excellent service) according to them they had no idea when the part would be available by.

                  Now since the part is not available I would like the laptop REPLACED, or My money back, It is really not my problem that the part is not available if you cannot service a laptop or keep up to your great service promise do not sell the laptop.

                  I have been speaking with several of you over the past months where I have even received a call from HP USA saying that they already had a solution and to have the laptop dropped to the service center where the laptop would be fixed in 2 - 3 days. I have also received calls from HP India saying the same.

                  What's worse is when my laptop was given in to the service center they had no idea about the problems, I had the technician call me 10 times saying there was nothing wrong with the laptop till I asked him to please see the letter sent along with it where I had explained the exact problems. Post which I did not receive a call form HP at all giving me information about the status of my laptop. Last evening I decided to call them only to find out that they had ordered the part and that the part is still NOT AVAILABLE.

                  I would like this sorted out Immediately before I have to take this to consumer court or the press

                  Issues i am facing with my 8 month old laptop

                  1) Wireless Card and Bluetooth adapter - It looses connectivity after a few mins, the computer needs to be restarted to get the Wireless Adapter to work again. Connection drops slower in an Air condition Environment.

                  a. Already tried to install driver update

                  b. Device cannot be disabled from the device manager once the connection drops

                  c. Once connection drops it will not find any wireless connections

                  d. Device manager shows device is working properly

                  2) Laptop Temperature – Temperature of laptop easily reaches 90 Deg Cent

                  a. Gets hot and shuts down sometimes

                  b. Fan works – May not be fast enough to cool the core

                  c. Temp so hot that It burnt my leg.

                  d. Loaded a software to check Core temp core temp reaches 89 Deg Cent


                  3) Card Slot – Card slot does not work sometimes, does not recognize the card


                  4) Screen and pen calibration – The screen and pen calibration does not work properly the pen point and the digital point on screen never matches.


                  5) VGA out - The VGA out when connected to a Projector the colours on the screen are totally off. The projector is fine as we have used several laptops on it with no issue.


                  My Laptop was sent to Simtech Computronics with a token number 6730 - It came back on 29th November 2008.


                  There was nothing done to it, they kept telling me that they have asked for a replacement part, The laptop was kept with them for 7 working days. when the laptop came back to me the same error was happening.

                  I would like this issue fixed or my laptop replaced.
                  I purchased a hp with Serial Number of the product (dv6704TU) : CNF80919HB series lap top in Banglore last year 25th May 2008. I am in the warranty period. I got a information from one of my friend(s), they got recovery CD's while purchasing. I did't recieve any recovery cd's when I was purchased my LT.                   Serial No CND0071LVK, in March/2010 from authorise dealer Computer Heart, Guwahati, India, But within 3 months time, problem arise that once Laptop switched on, it gets automatically off without starting. Hence the laptop deposited in HP service centre, situated Ulubari, GS road, Guwahati on 22/09/10. But till date no response from Service centre, and they are not even able to tell the Target date for getting it repaired, on the account just by saying that spare part to repair is not yet received, once it will receive, service centre will give me a ring.But even after passing 13 days no response.                   I purchased Laptop of model no dv4-2103T4/WH953PA and serial no CND0071LVK, but within 3 months, laptop had problem of POWER ON then off, NOw it is deposited in HP service centre on 22/09/10 at Ulubari, GS road, Guwahati. Service Call report S.No 1801. Expect to get the Laptop repair at the earliest, anticipating ur reply at the earliest.
                  HP precision center in vashi is a fraud care center. Not giving value to customers, recently my laptop got repaired ( lcd screen got blank or dimm light) before going to that hp care center in vashi, i visited local laptop care center, they said as a lcd problem, and they said it ll cost approx: 5500 rs for new one, but i thought to visit vashi hp precision care center will be good choice. Gone to HP precesion center in vashi, they kept my laptop for 4-5 days under observation, and after 4 days they said its problem with inverter inside the laptop and before that i informed to them that the problem as informed by local laptop center is lcd problem. Although they said "as its is confirmed as a inverter problem by HP care center". Hence i agreed to them and said to replace that inverter, and they said hp warranty for inverter is 1 month and informed me that you ll be receiving that documents with in 10 days, if not received come and collect. then i paid overall 3500 rs for them. In this they have taken 50% before itself( while checking). after all finished i paid remaining 50%. after completion of repair, lcd light was still blinking and i questioned to that bloody engineer, he informed me that it might be a problem with LCD now. Exactly after 1 month my laptop gone blank with dimm light when i gone and enquired regarding that, , they are saying they will check, and let me know in 5 days. and they will not charge for servicing but for part replacement they will charge. I Confirmed that they are bloody cheating customers by not properly following HP guidences in their care centers. And they said the cost of lcd display is 9500 rs, and asked for the warranty for the previous repair they said there is no warranty for inverter adn i fought with them in front of everyone and moved off. This time i didnot took the wrong decision, I just said bye to that hp precision care center and i went to that local laptop care center for replacement of lcd, he done in 2 hours for 5500 rs and everything seems to be perfect and its great.

                  Overall, I need to log a complaint regarding HP Precision care center as they are cheating customers, and making little bit repair and charging full for that part by saying the part has been replaced, ( As we cant see internal part). Hence that HP precision center should be taken care by HP. As these vashi center is spoiling name of HP and its brand.

                    Hp India is an UNSCRUPLOUS organisation which is duping consumers by selling defective products and then harrassing the customer when he/she logs in a service call.

                    Hi. I am Shalini - I purchased a compaq nx 6120 - BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I logged in the following complaints with the product which has conled off in barely 18 months.

                    COMPLAINT #1
                    I purchased a notebook COMPAQ nx6120 from M/S Zest in feburary 2006 (please refer to the attached performa invoice ). This machine came with a three year warranty.

                    I have the follwoing problems:

                    1) the screen flickers when the lid is pushed up or down - I have never seen something like this in any notebook so far.

                    2) The DVD drive does not read a DVD; only CD AND VCD - why is this so? Any settings to be changed/added?

                    3) Whenever I write a CD, the writer scratches it; so that it starts jumping when i put it into the car player or the audio system - why is this so? I have far too many damaged CDS because of this.

                    4) the RAM in my system was upgraded (at the time of purchase) to 512 and now I wish to double it i.e. make it 1 GB - can you help me in doing so? Is this possible in this machine to add more RAM???

                    5) Where is the nearest service centre of HP in Gurgaon ???? I live in Gurgaon and have been trying without success to contact an HP centre but none of the numbers I have work. The phones either keep ringing or are engaged - either ways I havent been able to contact a single HP executive for these problems which are plaguing me since july 2006.

                    I must point out that HP/COMPAQ seems to be reticeint in providing cutomer services; forcing customers to seek out small time computer shops for their problems. But when I purchased this machine with a three year warranty, I was assured of service. I have yet to see that.

                    I wish HP would list their service centres on the website making it easier for the consumer to find them. I have written a number of times on the website and finally recd this reply from V. Shekhar - for which I am very grateful to him.

                    I also am very unhappy with the way the sales executive of M/S Zest behaved with me after the sale was completed. Even the main dealer is most arrogant and rude and proved to be very unhelpful in providing service assistance of any sorts. I am wondering why HP has such dealers - merely to increase sales or to ruin their reputation?????

                    Now, I want to see whether this reponse is carried forward or will I be stuck with a three year warranty machine but nowhere to go to claim services for this warranty??????

                    Greetings!!

                    Here I am writing to you again with a problem with services from the HP centre. My notebook has developed some problems :

                    1) the battery pack does not get charged - I have to run the notebook on power all the time.
                    2) The SD / MMC card reader slot is not working - it is not reading a card when its inserted in it.
                    3) The key pad needs to be cleaned out as some of the keys are not pressing properly.

                    This is despite the fact that I had fixed a time slot with Amit for the engineer's visit- I want to know what does HP take the customer to be??????????????????????????????????

                    Mr. Shekhar this is getting ridiculous if every time I have to go through such nonsense everytime I have a complaint for servicing. What is this HP warranty for then???????????????????????????????????? Please give me a reply on this.

                    I have had MOST DISPPOINTING interactions on the phone with HP customer care executives, Mr. V Shekhar, Ms Meena Tutu, Mr. Smeek Dutta, etc etc.

                    I have finally logged in a complaint to the consumer forum which is an NGO looking out to help consumers with their grievances against BIG companies with TERRIBLE ATTITUDE & ZERO SERVITUDE.

                    HP C700 laptop — Defective DVD writer in less than 2 months

                    C700 laptop purchased in USA on Dec 20th 2007. S/N CND7512YXB, p/n GF440AV. The DVD writer is defective. The laptop is now in Hissar - India, - and HP have a service centre in Hissar. The service center agrees that the DVD player is defective but wont change it. HP New Delhi office assured replacement and gave a case number [protected] on March 1st. Yet Hissar service center wont change it. Now even Delhi office says that the complaint should be filed in USA from where a case number to be assigned to the complaint only after which they will look in to it.
                    Do we understand that HP wont look in to situation where a costly part is defective within less then 2 months of purchase and HP will wriggle out of warranty on some false technicality.
                    May I hope that HP will not force litigation on us.
                    I have purchased the C374TU 3 days back i aom facing real problem with sound and wireless all else is ok. Why Compaq is really into making customer a real fool so th at they can rub their around the HP. i am really fedup i have insattled each and every driver suggested by HP online chat as well as Zyxware forum and i have now atleast 5 different driver for sound i have driver each driver by formatting my notebook 5 times for each driver one time format and followed the step wise procedure given by online chat poeple on mail.

                    i'm wondering if you can help me figure out why i can still hear the audio from the speakers eventhough an earphone/headset is plugged in...

                    I purchased one Compaq laptop 770TU/ C700/KT188PA on 7, June 2008 from your dealer to support me in my official work while on tour (out side Delhi).

                    But I regret to inform you that from the date of purchased its right hand side USB ports are not working. I reported many times to your customer care number[protected] even from out of Delhi (STD) for this problem the complaint no. is [protected]-dated 26/06/2008 allotted to me. After many calls when there was no improvement in this system your customer care department advised me that it is hardware problem and bring it to our Okhla service centre.

                    Same was reported to your service centre with defective laptop on 1/07/2008, another complaint no. is [protected] were allotted to me. After three days they return it back to me without any improvement and no repair/work/replacement performed on it, along with that they formatted all its software and drivers from its C drive which I loaded after the spending the money of Rs. 600/-

                    Now I wish to inform you that this problem was already consume my valuable time and money in travel (Auto), because my residence is in Shahdara, which is 30 KM from your service centre.

                    To keep in view my genuine problem, kindly replace this laptop under warranty, because it is new one and it have manufacturing defect from the date of purchase and not used by me except it, given only mantel harassment, money and time wastage for me.

                    In the other words there is no logic behind your children parts replacement when there was manufacturing defect from the date of purchase.

                    I ve bought compaq presario notebook model no-c700 in june08.After few days it has sound problem.I ve submit my system to service center.When this problem solved there was a problem in dvd drive.Again i ve submit my system to service center.I recieved my system after one month.After that there was heating problem in my system.Again i ve submit it to service center.I received my system after 15 days.When i received my system last time from service center it had promblems that its left speaker doesnot work and problem in dvd drive .I ve lodge a complain to customer care in dec08.The complain no.isCCHSAP182599.The complain is that i want new system.There is not any responce from customer care.Again i call in customer care and remind him but there is no responce from there.Now i am going to lodge a case through cunsumercourt against u.

                    Comapaq presario 500 — HP laptop manufacturing fault and poor services

                    This is to inform you that I dinesh Kumar purchased a Laptop Presario 500 Serial no CND7090N7N on 2007 with 2 year extended warranty of HP Care Pack..I am Not satisfy with the HP product & services provided by HP due to following reseasons and every time I faced harassment during services each time and the service center in Okhla not take the customer in well manner I don’t know where the mistake is going on at the end of dealer or service provider.
                    The Following points are explain my difficulties faced during services of my laptop.
                    In first Service: when I was taken my first service from RT Outsourcing services ltd A-200 Okhla Indl. Area Phase -1 New Delhi 110020 of battery replacement and Scratch mark on my laptop due to Manufacturing fault of this laptop and they deny the problem and don’t give me services at that time and told this scratches is due to dust bust if any person is seen my laptop condition nobody can says it is dust scar and the Compaq impression are reflect in my keypad side. Slowly the impression is increasing and come on most of the part of the body.
                    In second Services: when I was taken my Second services from RT Outsourcing services ltd A-200 Okhla Indl. Area Phase -1 New Delhi 110020 of Combo drive is not working and Same that scars on laptops but I was shocked the representative told me your CD Combo drive Serial no is not matched with the system and they argued with me but after long argument with the service center and because that existing product was under warranty any they repair that part but not take care that second complaint of scar due to manufacturing fault.
                    In Third Services: when I was taken my third services from RT Outsourcing services ltd A-200 Okhla Indl. Area Phase -1 New Delhi 110020 on dated 01/09/2009 token no : L-103 with case ID no. [protected] and I complaint for same scars problem increasing day by day in PC and the system is not open when the representative checks the problem and after that he announced me second time shocking news is that your hard disk serial no. is also not matched with the system again its shocking news for me. Mr. Kiran Kumar told me we take guarantee for services but they don’t give any warranty on replacement of hard disk due to serial no was not matched with the system
                    I am serious about this case because my laptop is under warranty and I am already purchased HP care pack with 2 year extended warranty .
                    Question : I purchased this laptop from authorized services center ANNEX Computer Dwarka Sec.12. I saw only product not its parts serial no. and I think it is also not mendatory every customer should have Hardware engineers before purchase any kind of PC and Laptop from authorized service center any nobody knows which serial no parts is installed in this PC or Laptop. And when a customer taking services from any service center that he was harssed to purchase HP product because a if a person is investing amount in extended warranty by HP care Pack not for facing problem during services and think what is the benefits of HP care pack and he don’t know the serial parts no, installed in the laptops or PC and he wasted his time and he purchased a ticket of airlines and he supposed to travel in bus or any other third class train. “What is the benefit of that services I am afraid and harassed by HP product and services.”
                    Suggestion: Please mention on all service centers and authorized service center

                    “Customer should be hardware engineer and he is responsible for the part if serial no is not matched with the product during services” .

                    This is my humble request you to please take any kind of favourable action on my laptop scars problems and hard disk. If you don’t have any kind of prospective or positive response so I will take legal action towards your company.

                    Hp / Compaq Nx6120 — after 3 services within 1 month, the problem still remains

                    Respected sir/ma'am, i Mayank Walia from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, purchased "HP compaq nx6120" notebook from an HP outlet on 28th Oct' 2006. it has a 3 yrs warranty. now my laptop has started showing some problems.
                    Problem = "It Turns OFF itself while working, and Turns ON itself after sometime of turning it OFF."
                    This problem exist for the past 3 months.
                    I have taken it for service to the authorised service center of HP.

                    1st service done by "Strategic marketing" 29/2 Rajpur road, Anekant Palace, Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 31/07/09. Token number is 4579.

                    2nd service by "RT Outsourcing Services Ltd." Chakrata Road, Dehradun,Uttarakhand on 4/08/09. Token number 6263.

                    3rd service by "RT Outsourcing Services Ltd." Chakrata Road, Dehradun,Uttarakhand on 11/09/09. Token number 6815.

                    I have changed the windows many times, hence there is no issue of Virus.

                    There has been no progress in solving this issue.
                    kindly look into the issue and resolve the matter as soon as possible.

                      HI ,

                      I brought HP pavlilion dv6000 , 1 yr before from dubai with international warranty of 1 yr..
                      It was working fine , all of sudden it was not starting at all, when power is aon, all lights use to glow yet, no display would come.
                      I gave it to HP service centre and they siad problem might be with Motherboard or Processor.But Un luckily it was just month before warranty had expired.

                      Now i dont know what to do, since mother board replacement would be very costlier.
                      NO i see it, cpl of other freinds who were using HP pavilion laptops have similar problem. I gues there should be some manufacture defects in theese mother boards.

                      CAn any body suggest anything for this??

                      HP /dv6000 Laptop — Not servicing the laptop

                      I have a US purchase Laptop (dv6000 series). I bought it in July 2007. Its out of warrenty now. I got a problem with the motherboard. I requested for replacing the motherboard (paid service) on 21st Oct 2008.

                      They have not yet given me the serviced laptop saying Motherboard out of stock as out of country purchase. I had to follow up with number of people to get an update on the issue right from the person who takes the request to Manager level (more than 6-7 people). They have been making false promises that they would get the part shipped and laptop ready in 2 weeks. Its been around 2 months now and my laptop is stocked in their godown. I now seek not only my laptop but also compensation for all the losses incurred.

                      HP / dv6000 laptop — Not servicing HP laptop

                      I bought HP dv6000 Laptop in June 2007. Its purchased in USA and now out of warrenty. Now I have mother board issue with it. I have requiested for the replacement (paid service) at the HP Service Center in Indiranagar.

                      I was told that the part was not available and that they would get it shipped from USA and service it in 2 weeks. It took another 2 weeks and then the part shipped again had a problem. Now its 2 months and still the laptop is not ready. I have been following up with all the people right from service personnel to Senior Manager level. I have invested my time/energy and money into it. I now want not only my laptop serviced but also compensation for all the losses incurred. I want them to waive all the service expenditure they have quoted me (14876.24/-) in order to service the laptop.

                      hi, the same thing happened to my laptop just the other day(btw, i'ts also an hp pav dv6000)
                      i bought it here in bahrain(its in the middle east too), and i had it for two years...

                      i shut it down properly the other night, but never came on the next morning: lights were on and the fan is running, but i got no display

                      so i took it to a pc repair center awhile ago and they said that it might be the motherboard or the lcd(very similar right?) and he advised me to go to the hp service center to get replacements(ill be going there tomorrow, hopefully, to talk to them about this)

                      this motherboard thing already happened once before, but fortunately its still in warranty..
                      now its not in warranty anymore... :(

                      hmm, its seems like these things were meant to only last past the warranty(i cant help but think of it this way)
                      the best thing we can do right now is to round up similar complaints and get it out into the public

                      or get a better laptop...i noticed this year that better(specs) and quality laptops(than the hp dv6000) are sold cheaper(i think half the price of the dv6000). im tellin you, spending for replacement parts for this heap is like getting run over by the same truck

                      i hate to say it brother, but it looks like we wasted money on this heap...
                      but anyway, its a lesson learned isnt it?

                      Summary: hi all

                      I bought this laptop in 2007. and had nothing but problems since I bought it.
                      I am not sure whether this is the case with all laptops!

                      1.the cd drive pops out every 5 to 15 mins and you have to push it in ever time--this is my daily routine now.
                      it pops out sometimes when I write a CD/dvd and I have lost hell lots of time and money by trying to write
                      something on a CD/DVD
                      2.the construction of big laptops are generally flimsy. My camera stopped working. It somehow has a cable
                      running through the lid and into the motherboard.
                      3. The blue tooth works at its own will so it is up to you luck and god's will weather that will work.Never figured
                      out why it just does not work.
                      4.Most of all the display!! It has grains in it white dots or de-colourised dots all over the screen. though I can
                      read what appears on screen. It just is not clear. Oh ya I tried recovering the laptop to see if it was a driver
                      issue. Nay it was not.


                      THE worst part of all this is that any hp laptop service you go to in INDIA the only answer is that its a motherboard issue and it will take 1/5th the cost of the laptop to repair it using which I can easily buy a netbook here. And ther is no physical damage in the mother board --I wonder what the problem is!

                      In essence I have have made a huge mistake in buying an HP

                      I also found an interesting trend!! in the 3-4 hours I spent in the service centres I found 10 to 12 people bringing in large laptops of more than 14" for display and similar problems

                      Guess HP has made products to milk money through service.

                      WELL TO ADD:it works sometimes when I move the display--so could the display problem be just loose electrical contacts

                      I had purchased an HP laptop from Dubai

                      The laptop started giving complaints as soon as i got it. I gave it to the HP service center a numerous times and they every time replaced the laptop mother board and gave i back to me and said please take it outside india where you bought it from. So i finally found a friend who took my laptop outside india and gave it to them for service, where they alo did simply replaced the motherboard. abut the same problem started repeating again. The sysytem would not even power on.

                      So i started searching and found out from net that this series has a defect. The NVIDIA Graphics chipset embedded with the system is defective and because to replace it means to replace the whole system they simply avoid it and give back the system by changing its motherboard so that the system runs for some more time. I can't take it from here to dubai again. I want them to replace me this free of cost as i still have warranty.

                      Please help me on what to do and how to contact them

The thing here is that it is already past warranty so I cannot do anything about it...                           I am facing lots of problems in Booking for a Gas Cylinder on phone, whenever we try to call them, usually phone does not rings or it is not answered by anybody.

                          I also had gone to book the same several times and every time I found that COMPANY/HP GAS BOOKING STATION has kept the phone in hold position, I checked it whether it is really for hold. But I found that they have done it so that nobody could make them call. They are making the people fool and they are totally failed to provide the best services to customers.

                          After Booking the cyliner also we may not be able to get the cylinder in the promised time with which we have to face many problems.

                          I also Urge to introduce on line booking for the Gas cylinder with which we can find very thing on the System.

                          I request to all of you and to HP Company please do something so that the mischief could not be continuing.

                          I am the user of HP gas since 1987 through Sangameswara Gas Agencies, Ramachandrapuram, Hyderabad. My consumber No. is 602135. They are allowing to book only after a month from the date of receipt of cylinder. Your agents are taking nearly 10 days to supply the refill after booking. In total, they are taking 40 days for supply. For us, we are getting only 25 to 30 days for consumption of one cylinder. I, therefore, request you to advise your agents to book for another cylinder after completion of 21 days from the supply as is being done by Indance Gas. This will help us for continuous supply.

                            Sir,

                            My compaint addressed core.nic.in is not redressed so far. I am giving below the original complaint for your reference.

                            Complaint dated 23/01/07, 22/05/07, 26/06/07, 7/08/07, 16/08/07, 24/08/07 & many more...........

                            I had purchase one HP laptop on 1.12.2006. At the time of purchase I was made to understand that I will be receiving one Jabra Bluetooth Headset and One Reliance Data Card free of charge. I had purchased the same from their authorised dealer located at Thakur Village Kandivili East Mumbai 400101.

                            After the purchase I was told that the last date for claiming headset is over and I may claim pen drive. When I thought of claiming pen drive, I came to know that I will have to pay Rs.250/- for claim.

                            Again for the data card also I will have to pay Rs.3,300/-.

                            I feel Cheated and hence the complaint. Please look into it and redress my complaint.

                            I receive the leptop from college of veterinary college, Anjora, Durg under Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Raipur for official work on May 2006. I had registered the complaint of it by land line phone on your phone number [protected] on 21.8.08 . My comlaint number is [protected]. Till a date it is not completly repair. I had contact to Mr. Manohar (hp Leptop office, Raipur) on his mobile number [protected] several time. But till a date my leptop is not doing proper work.Now a time it is in warnty period. So, I request to you please sent the employee for my leptop as soon as. My contact number is[protected]before 9.30 A.M. and after 5.30 P.M.) and my mobile number is [protected].
                            Give me contact number because now a day on above toll free number I have not any response.

                            consumer protection laws or destroying small businesses.

                            DON’T BUY AND HP PRODUCT unless you have money to throw IT
                            OUT and buy another one. They don't guarantee you get a replacement and if you
                            do it’s a refurbished one after months of emails and threats. Their hidden
                            warranty says they put used parts in everything.

                            Hundreds of complaints and law suits haven’t stopped them
                            from misrepresenting their products to the public and refusing to replace them
                            with new units like the other computer manufacturers do.

                            The ONLY HOPE consumers have against a company with built in
                            protection against delivering workable products to the public is to file with
                            the FEDERAL TRADE COMISSION, FTC. Use this address, it’s a simple form.

                              i've won a hp smart iphone on a sportscentre episode which was telecasted on 6th november episode. but i haven't received my prize till date. nobody contacted me after the episode, i had contacted them. they are assureing me that i'll receive my prize as my name was on aired next day.

                                Dear Sir/madam
                                My Consumer No. is 605160 and HP Gas agency name is Sumitra GAS AGENCY, Amloh road, Khanna,Punjab
                                I booked gas for home delivery on 05.12.07 and the due date for delivery had to be 14.12.07 but even after millions of phone calls we were told that no stock is presently available and some times they used vulgar language and delievered the gas on 26.12.07 .AS PER THE RULES WE HAVE TO TO DO THE BOOKING AFTER 25 DAYS OF THE PREVIOUS BOOKING AND WE WILL RECIEVE THE CYLINDER IN 2-3 DAYS BUT now they are considering 26.12.07 to be their booking or delivering date of gas which is to be 14.12.07. I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to mismanagement and poor service from your agency in delivering the gas and we are not able to get the gas refill in time in january.kindly look and throw some light into the matter.Else we need to take some strict actions.

                                I had purchased a HP Pavilion Laptop in November 2008. At that time a digital camera was being given as a free gift along with every purchase. As per the procedure mentioned by the dealer I registered at the HP website. My registration number was 1SOR3PK6OQ. I was advised to send a bank draft of Rs.990 along with some documents. I sent the bank draft (dd no 341805 dated
                                08.12.2008 issued by SBI, IIM, Joka Branch) along with the requisite documents on 12th December 2008. However, till date I am yet to recieve any free gift or any other communication from HP. I had sent them a mail on 12.03.2009. HP did not have the coutesy to reply to that mail also. Under the circumstances I am approaching you so that I get the Free Gift for which I had to pay Rs.990.

                                We booked a gas cylinder at Trilok Gas Agency, Agra. They do not deliver gas cylinders at the given time.
                                Whenever we book gas at the agency, the people there do not give booking number. The gas is not delivered for three months after booking & after these three months he asks for original papers & asks us to buy gas pipes etc. from them unless the gas will not be delivered. This problem persists not only with us but with most of the costumers. Moreover no staff is available after 2 p.m.. This is extremely annoying and causes a lot of inconvenience & we ask you to take strict action against them & if possible we want to transfer to another gas agency in Agra.

                                    This is Sujata PAttar From Belgaum....i took Laptop HP-PAVILION DV 6516 TX.......From dealer called MANGESH-COMPUTER.....on the date of[protected]...i use my notebook heardly 15 days after that it is not giving any display,,,so our dealer send it to the HP-Center in BElgaum it self.Mr.Manjunath was handling my laptop...he gave my laptop but he change the mother board i dont no what happen To my notebook again it is not showing display because of changing mother board.....again Magesh Dealer gave it the HP-Center...from that day onwards mt Laptop is in HP-Center.means from last 4 Months my Laptop is in HP-Center...and now that manjunath is not their now Mr.Nelson is handling my Notebook...but still nothing is happen only recovery cd come but still not yet my problem solved..my Laptop is in HP-Center only when ever i call to those Hp-people they will tell still problem is not solved....I paid 57000/rs cash ok if you people not solve the problem then what is the use ? better change my laptop otherwise give my money back with 4 month interest...OTHERWISE I HAVE TO TACKE LEGAL ACTION ON HP ONLY...SEE LAST FROM 4 MONTH I AM SUFFERING FOR THESE HP PEOPLE....I PURCHGE TENTION FOR 57000 NOT LAPTOP......

                                    i am shocked on seeing this complaint. i was preparing to purchase the said model of hp.
                                    i'm glad i read this, as i was going to purchase a hp notebook. but if this is the quality of their after sales service, then i'm better of without it. nothing is worth this kind of a deal.
                                    my hp dv6516 tx notebook is embeded with 2gb ram .Is it support another 4gb ram? If no what is the other option

                                      I purchased a laptop compaq presario v6409 during oct-2007 and i was entitled for a free gift offer. As reqd. I sent a dd for rs.600/- with all the reqd.                                       Complaint against poor booking system of HP,s LPG Gas Cylinder. We get it from "Devi Dayal Enterprises" Sec-8, Rohini, Delhi-85.. Their booking no.s 27940639, 27940104, [protected], [protected] are always in not attending position. They might have put some call barring/ other system. Any one can chek it by calling. U will not get connected, i m sure. We always have to go to their office for booking. Due to which we are suffering a lot. My consumer no. is 613909. HP has a Just dial no. 1716 but what if we dont have MTNL no. Because it works rather works sometime with mtnl no only..

                                      HPCL/ LPG Gas — No delivery of Gas (Poor Service)

                                      Dear Sir/Madam
                                      I booked gas for home delivery on 1st Feb 2008(Friday). I asked the representatives to let me know when they will deliver it to our house, so that I am available as I am working and cannot make to stay from Monday to Friday, and if they Informed I will be their to take the delivery. They told it will take till Wednesday (6th Feb 2008) and then Check with us and we will let you know when we will deliver the Gas. When I checked them on 7th Feb 2008 (Thursday), they told that we were there, and since no one was there in the house, so they left. After that I tried to contact them several times but no +ve response, they keep on saying Load is not coming, when it will come they will deliver.
                                      My Question is why did they send the gas when they knew no one is their to receive and when I ask them to send on Saturday and Sunday, they refuse. Maybe they are Involved in some other kind of Practice.
                                      My previous Cylinder delivery was some 2-3 months before, then also they made a lot of problem. This is happenning everytime with them, and these people (Employees of Agency) have made it their habit of endulging in these kind of practises. I am not aware what action you will take, or maybe you will not do anything as it happens most of the times, but just to bring it to your notice,I wish to put before you the plight, which many people like me are undergoing.
                                      Please do not show that beautiful glimse of HP Gas in Advertisement where you shout !!!! " Your Friendly Gas" and " Cook Food serve Love". Lastly this has been the most unfriendly expierence till date.

                                      HPCL — POOR SERVICE

                                      Description Hello Customer Care,

                                      This to advice that HP service getting worst day by day. We booked a refill for LPG on 27th of October and we haven¿t received yet. From past few days when ever we give a call to find out they give us a silly excuse informing that it will be delivered the next day, but the next day hasn¿t came yet. My consumer number is 619454 and order number is 3868 and I kindly request you to please have a look on this and give me call with an answer. If I don¿t receive call with in an hour then I need to take a help of media.

                                      I totally agree with the above complaint. I have a different issue with HPCL. Their response and delivery service is really worst. I booked the gas on[protected] and its[protected] today and I have not received it. My gas cylinder got emptyied yesterday morning and since then we are all having outside food. I called them thrice yesterday and two times already today for no help. We are really suffering due to this.
                                      One more issue with them is, I tried to book the refill of cylinder few days ago, they told that it can be booked only after 20 days of last delivery date. Due to this policy, I have been suffering and I am helpless.
