    I regret to inform you that I have purchased a Compaq Presario V6409TU from M/s DSR Computers, Malanjkhand, Dist Balaghat MP on 11/10/2007. I
    have sent a DD of rupees six hundred in favour of M/s Aishwarya J.HP. Rembemtion Cell, New Delhi along with necessary required original documents to claim for the Free Gift Offer on Purchase of HP Pavilion/Compaq Presario Notebook.

    But the Party M/s HP Redemption Cell C/o Solutions Integrated Mktg. Serv. Pvt. Ltd., A-2, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I, New Delhi 110020 (Phone[protected] returned the only above DD (No.[protected], Dt 17/10/2007, Issued from Indian Overseas Bank – Chartola Malanjkhand MP), but this party has not returned the other original document, which were sent by me. As per the party, they could not processed it due to the reason “ Worng name – i.e. SOLUTIONS INTEGRATED MARKETING SERVICES PVT. LTD.

    The details of my purchased Compaq Presario Notebook are as follow:

    HP Compaq Presario laptop CQ45 — CHEATING BY HP INDIA

    REFUSAL TO PROVIDE CARE PACK INSPITE OF ACCEPTING PAYMENT FOR CARE PACK-
    I PURCHASED COMPAQ PRESARIO LAPTOP CQ45-106AU ON JAN '2009 WITH END WARRANTY 13/01/2010. I CONTACTED HP SERVICE AT BANGALORE AND AFTER DUE CONFIRMATION PAID Rs.6618/- ON 03/12/2009 TOWARDS PURCHASE OF CARE PACK ( WARRANTY EXTENSION FOR 2YRS) . SURPRISINGLY AFTER 15 DAYS THEY REFUSED TO PROVIDE THE CARE PACK CITING VAGUE REASONS. THE AMOUNT WAS REFUNDED TO ME ON 08/01/2010 . I MAILED TO HP OFFICIALS BUT THEY DONT WANT TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE AND NEITHER SERIOUS . ONCE A CUSTOMER PURCHASED HP PRODUCT , HP OFFICIALS LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT CUSTOMER CARE.     HP/COMPAQ PRESARIO LAPTOP — Cheating by HP

    Sir,
    With due consideration to the success of your organization, I regret to inform that customer satisfaction, at least in my instance, is not one of its bases. I have had a horrible experience, as a customer, with your organization. What follows is the details of the same along with the harassment I have had.

    The first problem with my laptop occurred in November 2009(nine months after purchase date of February 14,2009) . It developed a flickering screen along with a particular defect in the mother board. I submitted the laptop the next day in the service center at HP authorized Service Center, Sector 14, Gurgaon. And what followed was a series of submission and receiving back the laptop for around a month and a half. Finally, and thankfully, they managed to change the LCD screen and the motherboard. The receptionist gave an excuse that the delay in my case was rather an exception than a rule. Feeling helpless, I could do nothing except for hoping that the experience is not repeated.

    The second problem occurred when my Laptop Adapter became inoperable in the first week of January. I immediately reported to the same service center on 5 January,2010. I was baffled at the excuse by the same receptionist. He told me that my warranty expires on 6 January,2010 and since the last day was not included in the warranty (I still can’t solve that puzzle!), and since I had reported after 5.30 pm (read 6.20pm), they cannot accept my adapter at all. After much argumentation, they finally accepted it. I got a call from them after four days. They informed that I have to present the Proof of Purchase if I am interested in repairing or replacing the adapter. I tried to register a complaint with the customer service executive. After holding on the phone for more than an hour, the customer executive clarified the miscommunication and apologized for the ignorance of the service center receptionist (Complaint Id: [protected]). Finally, I managed a POP from the retailer I had bought the Laptop from , and submitted the same. I get a call after 5 working days (despite the confirmation by the service center that they will get back to me within 24 hours regarding the verification of the POP) informing me that the CT No. of the adapter I submitted does not match that of the Laptop I possess. I bought the laptop from a HP Authorized retailer and I have no way of verifying that the adaptor issued by the retailer is the one that is associated with the laptop and frankly, it is unrealistic to expect the customer to do the same
    After much consideration, I have to decided to approach the Consumer Court for the hassles I have suffered and the impaired adapter issued to me. The problem lies within one or the other part of your organization and I have had enough hassles due to the same. However, I chose writing to you as my penultimate step.
    Hope you will take corrective action on a priority basis and restore some credibility to the HP Brand

    I purchase CPU on 19/07/2009, after that i have faced problem many time time, one time engineer visited to us and rectify the problem and commited to us that in future it will not happen. on 06/07/2010 i am facing same problem(window is not opennig).     Same problem here. HP had promised some gifts as a promotional offer for my laptop purchased in Feburary, After submitting the documents twice and several mails they finally confirmed the gifts in March which are yet to be delivered. The mails to their address are not being acknowledged and i firmly believe that this is their policy to announce big offers and try to wriggle out when approached to redeem. These US companies come to India only to cheat knowing well about conditions here. here you are allowed to promise moon and deliver nothing.

      it is giving a poor battery backup.WHY IT IS SO?

        Dear HP Authorities,


        I like to bring into your notice a serious issue with HP product since last more than 6 months.


        1. We purchased a HP LaserJet 5200 printer vide invoice no. 1040 on 19 June 2007 from HP Reseller M/s Crystal Computers private Limited, Kota.

        2. On the very day of installation of the printer it was found not printing well, same was observed by the installation engineer of M/s Crystal Computers & was reported to HP Service Centre for follow up the issue.

        3. After initial examination of HP service engineer from M/s Kay Kay Softech, I was asked to purchase a new TONER CATRIDGE and try it with the printer. AS per him it was diagnosed to be TONER SUPPLIED with printer being defective & was also promised to get the ORIGINAL TONER replaced by HP subsequently.

        4. Even after spending another 9,000/- Rs for a new TONER CATRIDGE the printer did not print well, while reporting this to HP authorized service centre a case was lodged by the service centre.

        5. The case id’s for the printer in dispute are - 1st Case Id: [protected]-221 Dated 24/07/07, 2nd Case Id: [protected]-221 Dated 16/10/07

        6. Above all activity happened with 10 days of installation of the printer.

        7. After a follow up few more days HP Authorized service centre REPLACED THE FUSER ASSEMBLY of our this printer, but the results were still not positive.

        8. Again after a few weeks later the SCANNER of our PRINTER was replaced by authorized HP Service Partner M/S Kay Kay SOftech, but still the problem remain with the printer.

        9. Now after hundreds of calls & several hours of argument my printer was replaced under DOA on 08th September 2007 (DOA Letter attached)

        10. Kindly note the printer was installed on 19th June 2007, and since this day me & my company was unable to take advantage of the cost invested for the printer despite of our huge investment of Rs. 57,000/- (48,000+9000 ; Printer + 1 additional Toner). In addition of this we have been facing mental agony with humiliation and this is the failure in service as well as the third grade product quality of the HP Laser Jet printers.

        11. But, the story doesn’t end here. The new unit of laser jet 5200 received against DOA didn’t print well as well. The same problem was observed in the new unit as well.

        12. While booking a case with HP again I was asked to use the TONER CATRIDGE of another TONER of a specific lot code, for which I had to write to M/s Ingram Micro and get the cartridge of the desired lot code, as advised by M/s Kay Kay Softech.

        13. Anyway, I had sent my TONER to INGRAM on 17th September for which I received the replacement of TONER on 26th September.

        14. While installing this SUGGESTED TONER in our DISPUTED LASER JET 5200, no improvement was observed & the same problem persist .

        15. While observing this by the service engineer of HP (Kay Kay Softech Pvt Ltd, Kota), I requested these guys to kindly take up the matter on priority and take some serious action on the issue.

        16. But never the less, no such action was taken, and rather I was once again asked after passing around 40 days to get the another SUGGESTED TONER cartridge with a different LOT CODE, once again from INGRAM JAIPUR.

        17. Sir, I had sent again the TONER back to INGRAM on 20th November 2007, which I received back in first week of December 2007. And as usual this cartridge failed to give any improvement for the problem persisting.


        My dear sir,

        Today is 17th December 2007 & we purchased the printer on 19th June 2007. You can see 6 MONTHS have been passed without any solution to our problem, only experiment after experiment have been done on the above said printer.

        At this moment we have ended up with following conclusions, which I feel is very important to be known with INDIA’s highest HP officials.


        1. Write a CASE study and forward it to all our employees, business associates, clients with a request to forward it to all the e-groups & everyone in their contact list. This will increase the HP’s creditability along with SUDDEN JUMP in the market share of HP printers.

        2. TO BLACKLIST THE HP from our vendor lists & keep HP away from the requirement of setting up a new expansion office with 50 desktops, 5 servers, MFD’s , SCANNERS & Laser Jets.

        3. To sue HP INDIA to recover the cost of the product (Rs. 57,000/- (48,000+9000 ; Printer + 1 additional Toner). ) along with penalty of Rs. 5,00,000/- on the ground of deficiency in service & product with a cost of the business loss of Rs, 15,00,000/- on accounting of non-working of desired equipment paid in full.


        Testing of patience of a customer for such a long time is going to pay high to HP this time.



        I humbly request all of you to kindly forward this email to PRESIDENT, HP INDIA , so that he arranges for LOCKS for the HP INDIA offices, as this kind of service is going to land up HP in winding up its business during coming years.

        This is my 18th letter to you in regards with the damaged printer i receieved from one of the dealers, the dealer refuses to take it back and also the HP authorised technical team is not willing to repair it, the case rests with one of your customer service executives, Ms. Komal Thakkar, who after talking to me 2-3 times, only on phone, refuses to even reply to my e-mail...whatever communication is done is on phone, she bluntly refuses to give me a written reply on mail (i don't know for what reasons)...i don't know even whether this complaint is gonna fall on deaf ears or someone might take action on it, but i will keep mailing till i receive a written reply from HP...i, for the rest of my life, vow, not to recommend anyone any HP Product...DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS, IVEN I[censored] DO, DO NOT EXPECT ANY AFTER SALES SERVICE ON IT.

        For the past 20 years I have been using HP printers & cartridges in Australia & ndia. We have HP Laser Jet 3055, for the first time we bought 12A Toner from Compuguide in Andheri (East) Mumbai. The new cartridge was loaded but did not work. Since then we have spent staff time & travel without any results.

        1. Compuguide denied to replace the cartridge & gave us address at Vile Parle office. Our man went there to find that the office was closed long time back.

        2. Then our office was told to go to HP Office Parel. There was no HP Centre there, building was under redevelopment.

        3. Following that an HP Centre phone number has been given to us where we have been trying for the past 3 days of no avail.

        Such sloppy management is so frustrating coming from a reputed company like HP. Hope you will take an urgent step to set it right and get the cartridge replaced from our office.

          I purchased a NoteBook pc i.e. Hppavalion Dv6314tx on 5-july-07 at that time thier was some kind of students offer were running for which i had to sent DD of Rs 5oo along with serial card of my LAptop but problem is that the dealer from where i purchased my laptop didnt give me that serial card i came to know about scheme and serial card frm customer care, when i asked thet dealer for serial card he keeps on giving me dates after 3 months he gave me that serial card and i regestered my product but not able to utilize that serial card i mean i regestered my product but not able to find anythin regarding that student offer from last 5 months i m trying to use it but not able to,

          even i mailed thrice before from the hpindia website regarding this but didnt get any reply, i even left my no 4 times when custmer care executives were busy but never got any reply, even when i connected to them they were not helpfull as keep on giving me nos they gave 11-12 no for my problem but never solved my problem, last week when i called in hp one of the custmer care executive sudgest me to mail on this address he said they will surely solve ur problem

Now they are again ready to replace it but I know from market that there is problem in this model but HP People don't agree to it they again want me to accept replacement but I have already thrown this printer at their service center (Delphi Marketing) they gave me a slip of Customer Service order No. 9273 dated 23.10.07 after asking them again and again, now the service center people are blaming me saying that you have use refilled cartage in your printer so it is your fault and not ours.Then I asked them to give me in written whatever mistake has occurred from my side.Then they gave it to me.When I asked them that how can u claim that this is my fault then they told me that we had sent your printer to unit HP and from them we got to know this because only unit can tell about refill cartage so your printer’s warranty is over,However on 30-11-07 I received a mail that says,

Misal, Samratnagar, Isanpur, A'bad, mob: [protected] is doing fraud and submittee coupens and take points by using demant different items (like Mobile, Freez, ...)missuse of it because it is Central Govt. office and this coupens not valid in this scheme due to this other persons not take advantage of it. Till date lots of items collect this persons. My intention is to get this benifit properly and proper person. You can ask this in IPR office store or purchase or take proper info for him or other how he submitte lots of cartridge coupens and take this benifits. Please forward proper section to take action and block such fraud.
            Oh waaaa. Complain all you want, once your 1 year manufacter warranty is up, like ANY other company, you have to pay for trouble-shooting support, and obviously not for any hardware replacement. If my car had a 1 year warranty, and my transmission went out in 13 months, why would they pay for a replacement? In fact, I would have to pay to even have them look at it. Why is this any different with a printer? Warranty's exist for a reason, and if you don't like it, extend your warranty so you don't get charged for support past your 1 year.

                We would like to take your immidiate attention on a very critical matter.The reson being coming to you simply that we have not been paid any attention by HP india and the matter has turned very very critical now.

                We have purchased an HP Colour laserjet printer on 3rd of february 2006 from one of your dealer (Sun Solutions,4-A sargodha Colony,Pakhowal road,Ludhiana.) The product worked good for a short while but after sometime machine had the following problems to run

                Made so much noise while intializing.
                Printed only partial image and print out was not so clear to read
                Then we done a complaint at your customer care centre and got deal with your executive Mr. John who intimated that there is some hardware problem with machine after that Mr. John forwarded our mail to the concerned department in order to arrange an onsite engineer.Your engineers came so many times and their efforts detailed as below:-

                14/09/06:- Engineer Mr. Pradeep came from 13.00 Hours To 17.00 Hours
                Our Comments as per customer service order form :-Printer is giving 59.99 errorr on display

                Repair Details as per customer service order form :-Refix The gear train & T2 Clutch gear.But the issue was same.As per talk with call centre part ordered for the
                same.
                16/09/06 :- Engineer Mr. Pradeep came from 11.50 Hours To 12.40 Hours
                Our Comments as per customer service order form :- 59.99 errorr is coming.

                Repair Details as per customer service order form :-Afetr replacing the T2 Clutch gear issue is remaining same.Now suspected part is DC controller that i i will order.

                Now as per above details you can understand that how many problems we faced after purchase of this machine your engineers came so many times but still the machine was giving us error 59.99.We also mailed about this error to Mr. John on dated October 06,2006 after the last visit of your engineer but we did not get any answer for this complaint as we also done a reminder for this but again no communication came from your side.

                Now we are extremely disturbed with the same as have lost considerable amount of time and efforts and it seems our money (Approx USD 1500) going completely waste +time loss+ opportunity loss and our office also in a obscure position with the matter.
                So we are requesting you to please do something for the needful as this is extremely unprofessional and also not suits to your company reputation as we registered our complaint under warranty period but the machine is still lying dead with us.We are also sending here visit reports of your technical team for your reference please get the attached file and also note the following particulars of machine for your records.

                Unfortunately i bought HP laptop model # dv 2214TU on 30th April, 2007 at Jalandhar(PB) India.On 16th Dec, 2007, there was display problem on 16th Dec, 2007 and gave that lap top to authorised HP service provider at JALANDHAR on 17th Dec, 2007.

                      I have bought my HP pavilion dv2601 TU on 1st Nov 2007. after around two days it started giving problem during shut down. it gets restarted during shut down. sometimes it starts doing this two or three times continuously.This problem is not frequent i.e. sometimes the machine shuts down without any problem and sometimes it gets restarted.once in between i did recovery and it worked nicely for around fifteen days without showing any problem but again after that it started showing the problem, i cant recover the system after every 15 -20 days as it requires the reinstallation of all the softwares. I am using the antivirus provided with the machine itself i.e. Norton. i regularly update it and during scanning it is not showing any problem of virus....Kindly suggest me some remedies, as the problem is too annoying.

                              I have purchased HP PAVILION DV 2214 LAPTOP on 25-may-2007.(MODEL NO.DV 2000/122893PA),(serial no. 2CE7091BM6) under guarantee

                              > Auto shut down problem started hence I went to authorize Hp service center Okhla phase 3 near modi mills in New Delhi. Dated 20/09/2007
                              >Got call reference no. [protected] & handed my laptop to service center after failing 3 to 4 times of delivery & I use to go from Gorakhpur Uttar Pradesh every time but I couldnot get my laptop.Finally I got call from Hp service center after 18 to 20 days after that I send my brother to collect laptop .
                              He (Aftab ahmad khan) reached at service center on[protected]at around 4:00pm & he demanded for laptop. But he was asked to Waite & he waited for around one hour.

                              Hp Service center Replied:- Your laptop has been couriered to your local Delhi address.

                              Aftab my brother :- I have got a call from customer care to collect laptop from here & I have already told you not to courier I will collect directly.( They went to search again my laptop) & by 5:30 pm they(Hp s.c) handed him Laptop. Aftab asked for Demo thrice but they refused very politely initially
                              Hp Service center Replied:-Every thing is ok (sab thik hai le jaieye) & now service time is over & its 5:30pm & there is no demo engineer, said very annoyingly. We will not give Demo.
                              Aftab collect the packed laptop & return to Gorakhpur.

                              When I opened the packaging of Laptop found cosmetic panel melted in the right side.
                              We informed to Miss Bhavana floor in charge on telephone.( On check list/Report Engineer name is Mr. Alam) I was busy & I could not get time so, Aftab went twice but he was not entertained by HP ,on third time on 02/11/2007
                              service center check the laptop(token no L5) after some hot talks & said that your laptop is tampered from the top & they refused to entertain the complaint & just write down on the information form that due to tampered we will not received.
                              After that I Personally went to Delhi on 26/11/07 (call reference no. J9KS261106)& talked to Floor in charge Ms.Bhavana & Mr. Maunty demo engineer admitted verbally that this mistake is from my side but you don’t have any proof so we will not consider your request. I said that you have refused to give demo on 11/10/2007 (above mentioned the incident). After repeated request we were told that you are frustrated man & we have been scolded & they misbehaved with us.
                              Beside this there was problem in closing the flap due to misaligned cable we asked to at least you correct this, after repeated request & some hot talks they agreed to receive the laptop.
                              >They Send me to the demo engineer Mr.Kailash (Demo Engineer) he started checking in front of me while opening he broke the lock of the backside cover in front of me & he mentioned on receiving information form & in continuation he mentioned one more thing that PCMCIA DUMMY MISSING. I broke down & said what is going on it is your fault you have opened this in front of me & your paper seal was there why are you harassing me, mentioning this on information form he said don’t sought & he started shouting & threatened you will be pushed out by security person you cant do anything go away.
                              Ms Bhavana & Maunty came there & said we will see it, we requested that why you have mentioned Backside of Flap screw broken I don’t know anything about this. Then Mr. Maunty & Bhavana Discussed & agreed that it was there fault. Then Mr. Maunty cut with pen on the information form & signed.( I submitted my Laptop & return back to Gorakhpur they said you will be informed in next 3 days. I said ok)
                              >Issue dose not end here on 27/11/2007 I got a call from Ms.Bhavana in afternoon that there Lan card is missing in your Laptop I replied to Bhavana its from your side because how can I know inside of the Laptop & how can it happen because in the back your HP paper sealed was stick on that & your engineer has opened. Beside this I haven’t gone to any service center. So it’s your fault. Ms.Bhavana Replied I will talk to my engineer & will reply.
                              She didn’t replied then I called more than 15 times to Okhla Hp service center, I Tried to talk Manager Sonal, Prakash, Meena Titu but I was put on hold more than 15 minutes in several time calling. Finally Ms. Sonal got on line & she asked me to mail.
                              I am mentally & physically harassed by HP service center Okhla phase 3 near modi mills flyover from last two months.
                              I went to Delhi More than 5 times from Gorakhpur, I have called STD calls more than one hour, in totality I have expend more than 10000/ in this process.

                              I could not get justice, where is Customer delight? Of HP. I am a Hindustan Unilever Employee we all talk about Customer delight what about HP it’s an big question Mark on your services. Do some thing & respond back in 24 Hour. Because I will not leave, I will go to any extent for justice either consumer court.(I have kept all written document as a proof)
                              I need a New Laptop it’s my firm decision.

                              I m also suffering from same poor service of HP customer care.I purchased my Hp Pavilion Laptop 1 year back.DEr i was told tht der is a sceme going on in tht laptop.Thts a tv tuner.For tht we have to send 800 rs draft to customer care office addrass n they were supposed to send through courrier within 60 days, but 8 months gone i didnt recive any single responce from them.In between i was called them thrice and inquired about tht.but dey replied it might be the cause of insufficient stocks.and dey promised me tht dey will send it within a week.and its 3 month passed.but still i am waiting..Also i faced lots of problem in HP Customer care office.They r bad tongue persons, Lack in communications and also lack in quick responce and service..Dey just harass people.If i would get chance den i will definitely send them to jail atleast for one year.They are most irresponsible persons.M purchased tht laptop in DEradun(Uttarakhand.)

                                Dear freinds,

                                If these guys can not supply the spare part why they dupe people with their junk printers?

                                Don't buy Hewlett Packard HP printers. They bring out new printers as often I sneez in winter. These guys are so fast with new printers that they forget to support only two three year printers.

                                By tail of woes is that I have given my printer my repair to HP authorized service center in Bhopal - Friends :( Computer Consultancy, MP Nagar, Zone I, Bhopal - vide their challan number 723 dated 2/9/07 and till today they have not repaired the printer nor offered to return it to me.

                                When I call then the guys in office say that they are waiting for Scanner Assembly part that is going to cost me Rs. 6500/- They could not get this part in three months. I am afraid that I will never see my printer working again.

                                Three month are taken from a class A city in India to source an HP part. Is HP sourcing their products from a space station or moon? Hope next NASA flight comes soon :(

                                I feel so bad that I feel there be a way to tackle these guys. We can't buy a new printer evry two year. This throw away culture should belong to where it comes from.

                                When I called the owner of the repair center he was too busy with some thing and advised to call me in the next morning. When I called they parroted their usual reply that spare part is awaited.

                                Guys if you can't supply spare parts within two years and are not responsible for customer satisfaction then don't sell your stupid printers.

                                I hope you will publish my experience in bold so that other people are forewarned of miseries they may face at hands of such people.

                                On top of it I have sent a very agrieved email to HP India though their official website but it seems if fall on deaf years or these teeth are just ornamental as I received not even an acknowledgment, foolish to think of resolution of problem by them.

                                As the printer is out of warranty of onle year I do not know how to address my grivance to appropriate consumer forum. I hope you will guide me about it.

                                Meanwhile, I will continue to hope that the printer shall be returned intact to me with or without repair.

                                HP salesmen are warned not to approach me for selling their products. Also HP, please take my name from all your international mailing lists.

                                    My Notebook (HP Pavilion dv6226TX) was having dificulity reading some of the DVD's my friend had gifted me. I contact HP TOTAL CHAT (JOKERS) to understand the reason. One of the super JOKER by the name of Bryce took the onus on him to set me free of this little misery and asked me to uninstall the CD/DVD drive... I followed him blindly ... and later when I couldn't see the device in Device Manager, the JOKER asked me to follow this link [http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00737799.pdf]. To my surprise it was a link to some assistant directory page 110 on how to open your CD/DVD drive. I refused and the JOKER asked me to piss off to the near service centre. When asked to mail me the details for the chat the JOKER fobed me and gave address to some center 4000 miles in south. Pathetic service... to say the least.
                                    I am not sure what to do... don't have time to run around... may be would have to take a day off and see if service centre can help or they are another bunch of JOKERS having a unique way to set you free of the little miseries and ...

                                      We purchased HP Printer D2460 Deskjet on 22.1.2008. It had a trial cartridge which finished. We purchased a new cartridge no. 21 and 22 on 8.3.2008 for Rs. 1260.00. While printing a message comes about retreiving of ink and ink level is shown in four parts. Gradually the black ink finished and now we are again seeing the same message that the ink is being retrieved and the ink level is again shown to full, But the paper is printed only half and the later half comes out with blurred letters. What is the matter?

                                      I Purchased Hp Printer model No D 1460 on 25-06-08 From Boot Com System Bhopaland the printer is not working from day 1 . I registered this complain to Hp Service Centre(Redington Ltd Bhopal) they told me that they will change as its not working and it will take approx 8 to 10 days.

                                      I purchased A Hp Compaq NB 6720s Notebook (K1420PA) body No.CNU8081742 from one of your dealers namely M/S Infotech, C-1, ground floor, Aruna park, laxmi nagar, Delhi-110092 on 25.04.2008 vide invoice no. ET/152/08-09.
                                      That one day after the purchase i.e 0n 26.04.08 the keys of the keyboard stopped working and for this I approached the dealer on 27.04.08 and complained about the problem to the dealer. He got the system repaired and assured me that no problem will arise in the future.
                                      That further on 07.05.2008 the system did’nt start and again I approached the dealer complained about the problem to the dealer. He got the system repaired and again assured me that no problem will arise in the future. Again on 19.07.08 the same problem aroused and I gave the system to the dealer agin. He returned the system back after the span of 9 days and also charged me Rs 500/- as a fees .
                                      That from 29.07.08 the keyboard is not functioning properly and the dealer is asking the money to get the system repaired in spite of the fact that the system is still under warranty.
                                      That I have already sufferd a lot of loss in my business transaction and a lot of mental agiony.
                                      I therefore request you to look into the matter immediately and get my system exchange with a new one as it seems that the system has a manufacturing defect.
                                      If it is not done so then it can create a lot of troubles in future also.

                                      I'd bought a Compaq laptop V6608AU, on the 30th of May, through which, I was entitled get a free wimusic receiver. I completed the formalities by sending the claim documents and a DD of INR 500 in favour of HP redemption cell, payable at New Delhi.
                                      I was informed, on 1st Aug., by the redemption cell that the gift has been approved and they requested a period of 6-8 weeks for delivery. But, even after the expiry of this period I didn't received my gift. So, I inquired of the cell, on 18th Oct., as to what were the causes for delay and I was informed that they were out of stock and i shall be delivered the gift within the following ten days, even after which I haven't received the gift from HP.
                                      I request the concerned authorities to look into the matter and sort it out as soon as possible.

                                      Second case id – [protected]: Again sent to M/s Xcort Micro systems vide Job card No : 3366 on : 17/11/2008 in the name of Liyakat Qureshi, they have informed that they will demand part from HP which will take 10-15 days

                                      With reference to the above all the case nos., kindly note that my laptop is under repair for such a long time (more than 1 & half month). I am submitted this laptop before also & was given back & still it was not working & I re submitted the same at your service centre & than they informed me that the part received was faulty. First of all can’t you or your person check the part & than give us the delivery. It had been long time that my laptop is not repaired & matter is lingering for long time, due to this my business is suffering a lot. If you cannot repair my laptop than give me the brand new piece. This is not for the first time I am facing problem with HP or Xcort, I had faced the same problem for the item around one year back also & that also took around 2 months to get solved. Now the same problem with the part & with service is not acceptable.

                                      Here is what my initial problem was:

                                      My name is Janice D'souza. I am an entrepreneur and own a Pavilion dv2601tx notebook. My HDD crashed and I gave it to the HP authorized service center at Dadar (SIMTECH) for replacement on 29th October. It is under warranty. I backed up the content myself, since HP does not offer support in that area anyway. This is the second time the HDD has crashed in one year. The last time this happened just a month after purchase and was under case no. [protected]. Along with this complain there was another problem that has started occuring just a few days prior to the HDD crash, i.e. the display screen would not come ON many times when starting or restarting the computer after windows came on. The computer could work and the screen would even show the DOS screen but once windows came on it would be just blank and sometimes would start working after sometime and at other times need to be restarted after emergency shut down. The engineer checked the laptop and called me confirming delivery of the laptop on 3rd November however since the recovery DVD that came with my purchase was a Hindi one, he said I would have to order the DVD from the HP helpline and once couriered to me only then would he be able to install the original drivers, OS, etc.; until then I could take back my laptop and work on temporary software. Since my business requires my to be able to work on my laptop and since there was no other choice I had to agree. I ordered the DVD and it was registered under the same case no. [protected]. I also asked that the order be sent to my office address so that it is ensured to be collected. After collecting the laptop, I realised that the screen problem had not been fixed. I called the engineer who then said he will take care of it when i resubmit once the recovery DVD is received. Again, I was furious since it meant that I would now have to leave my laptop again for a couple of days. How can HP be so inefficient? But that's not it.. While I place the order for the recovery DVD on the 1st of November, it has still not been shipped to me and when i called the helpline to inquire they gave me the consignment no.[protected]overnight couriers). On calling overnight I learned that that consignment number does not contain any order sent to me. It was for a lady in Delhi, while I am based in Mumbai! So, now I am 15 days away from my warranty expiring and HP has not only ruined my peace but not even solved my problem!! This is the worst service and attention such a big brand can give its customers. I will take this up in consumer court if I have to, but this time I am not going to be quiet about how irresponsible and uncustomer friendly HP is as a company.

                                      Following this, HP support contacted me. However, they are so bad with service that my problem is still unresolved and their promises are all fake. Kindly read the email thread below to understand details of the case (Post the below email exchange, I had a telephonic conversation with the HP support personnel, Shweta, who was most unreasonable in either helping or emphathizing with the situation. After having goofed up with the courier AGAIN, when i requested that a service engineer be sent to collect my notebook and fix all the issues and drop it back since I did not have the time to waste any more business days on solving this issue than I already had, I was flatly refused and the reason sited was that no service is available out of warranty. But my warranty period has not even expired yet and besides, I logged my complaint over a month ago and the issue are still not resolved. How can you throw the warranty time stamp at me??):

                                      Also, please note that my notebook came with 'Windows Vista Home Premium' and NOT Home basis. It was a licenced version and I expect to get the same back. Also note that I have only received the OS recovery DVD and NOT the drivers DVD.

The following is the issue I am facing and was facing since at least a week prior to the HDD crash and before submitting my notebook to SIMTECH with the complaint (I would like to repeat that this problem does not happen all the time. It is only seen sometimes and hence a little difficult to diagnose. I had explained it exactly as below to the engineer who prepared my job sheet at SIMTECH on Oct. 29 however, inspite of explaining this and his confirming that he understood this matter was overlooked.):

                                      1. When the laptop is put into hibernate or sleep while it is ON, on wake up or power ON the laptop comes ON but the screen stays off. Most often I need to perform an emergency shutdown and restart and keep my fingers crossed that it comes on this time; at other times the screen automatically comes to life after a while of constantly pressing keys on the keypad.
                                      2. At times (this is less frequent), the same problem occurs at Startup. What is funny is that during Startup, before Windows loads, the screen works, since I can see the DOS screen, but once Windows starts loading the screen goes dead (but you can HEAR windows come on)


                                      Do let me know if you need any more information or details on the issue.

                                      According to the case ID, the HDD was faulty and has been replaced. Please let me know if the display had the same issue prior to the failure too.

                                      I am still awaiting a response from the Site Incharge . Also, I have logged an order for your Recovery CD's (a fresh one). I am awaiting the AWB No for this. Which I will keep you informed with latest by tomorrow.

                                      HP India — Non receipt of gifts even after eight weeks

                                      I purchased a compaq presario laptop on 20th sep 2008 and sent the necessary documents alongwith a demand draft of Rs.999 to HP redemption cell, First Floor, A-2, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 1, New Delhi to avail free gifts under HP/Compaq presario notebook student offer. Redemption code no. JGE2SJEEPO was alloted to me and confirmed by E mail . It was assured that after receiving the required documents gifts will be sent within six weeks.
                                      I regret to inform you that till now I have not received my gifts-option (a) Back pack and Creative MP3 player. It is informed by my bank that Rs 999 has been paid on 31 oct 2008.
                                      In my opinion this kind of delay and that without informing any reason cause a big question on the reputation of a company like HP. Moreover no reply is given about the redemption status of my query to [protected]@solutions-intg.com
                                      I hereby request you to put the matter before the company to fulfil the commitments made at the time of selling the product.

                                      hello! my name is vipul s. bambhaniya. i have purched a hp notebook v3225au.which serial no. is 2CE7220S9B. i am suffering because of it's bad service. i have register a complain case in support center, which case id is [protected]. when i purchesed it it had work nicely till 6-7 monthes, then it has got a problem that"POWER ON BUT NO DISPLAY" i have changed system bord three time, last time it has worked for only 4 days, though they have changed four part system board, hard disk, battery, lcd. what is the reason?????????????? if that noke book has got problem 4 times in a year what is it's future. now i have inwarded it into service center in ahemdabad, , , , but i will not outward it. i am applying for change it...i dont want V3225au or any AMD procesor borad. if i can't get any support about it i will have to get support from indian consumer court.so, please contact me [protected]. or as in reported in my case id. for more detail refer case id [protected].
                                      I ve bought a notebook PC from HP a month before and it was installed with windows vista homepremium 32 - bit by default. It is ok. . . .and good. . . .but eventhough I have the basic requirements I am not able to install CATIA V5R18 in this OS. . . . .Then I ve planned to install the same CATIA using XP pro as platform which is recommended to do so. . . . .Here I have the problem that

                                      HP had announced that on purchase of HP Pavillion Notebooks, customers can get a Philips 5.1 Home Theatre System by paying 1499/- extra.

                                      We have done this and despite lapse of 3 months, we have not received our gift and now the said Telephone No[protected] is not responding since 10 days.

                                      It seems to be a fraud promotion by HP and the culprits should be brought to book and penalised and punished, as also we should be compensated for the excessive harassment, wastage of time and inconvenience plus the unnumerable STD calls made from Pune for follow up in 3 months.

                                      sir, i have purchased a compaq computer of hp company on 10/02/2009 through their authorised dealer
                                      media infocom of bharuch(gujarat). i was given assurance that if i shall send them rs 999.00 as handling
                                      charges for their offered gift. they had offered to give printer, copier cum scanner as well as ups to me
                                      i have just received a printer, copier cum scanner but have not received ups offered by them,

                                      I bought an Hp laptop CND94842T8 in Srinagar on[protected] and was told by the seller that there is an offer of a Videocon LCD TV .After buying the laptop I wrote to HP about it and was told to send the documents along with the Draft for Rs 9000.i registered on HP site and got the redemption code S9S22NEKGG and after that I sent all the documents like invoice, bar coded serial along with the Draft on 6-1-2010 which was received on 8-1-2010 by HP.After that when I wrote to Hp about it I was told that they have received the documents and payment has been realised and the LCD TV is approved and same will be sent in 8 weeks time.some time back I also got an sms that delivery of TVs has started and I will soon receive it but despite a lapse of almost 3 months it has not been sent. Now the latest I have received is a shocking email from HP that the LCD TV cannot be sent to Srinagar and I should provide a Jammu address. Since Jammu is 300 kms from here and I have no address there I requested them to either send me my Rs 9000 back or if the problem is with my address in Srinagar (since not all couriers are willing to come to our area as it is 12 kms away from centre of Srinagar city) I provided them an alternate address which is in the heart of Srinagar and where every courier service is available.Now neither are they sending me the TV nor is my payment being refunded.kindly help.

                                      I bought an HP laptop CND9393KPD in Shaktinagar, Sonebhadra on 31.12.2009 and paid additional amount of Rs 9000/- vide DD 335785 Dated 07.01.2010. I received a redeeption code AZCCAU7IIW.

                                      After 5 months I received a Mail from HP Redemption cell from Miss Pallavi Sharma that TV is about to despatch. But till date I did not receive any TV. Many a times I called them over Phone and they have a simple answer that TV is no more in stock and then they cut the phone.
