hp Laptop Model 1k7t.by400 was purchased online from HP in United States in Dec 20 Due to reasons beyond control (pandemic) Laptop was brought to India only towards middle of this month. Monitor - touch screen is not working due to manufacturing defect. After purchase only Windows 10 update was attempted but showed continuous error. Extreme care was taken in handling the Laptop. Though picture tube/screen is not working the screen is very smooth when one lays their hands on it - no scratch no breakage, no crack. I lodged a complaint - case No.[protected]. Mr. Kamlesh, Consumer unit was very kind and informed me that I will get a call on 20th Aug. 2021 about Technician's visit to my house to examine the Laptop. No phone call received, and I was continuously following up the matter on daily basis. Ultimately the Technical staff (Mr Prashanth) informed me over phone that no Technical staff will visit my house and repeatedly stated that the warranty covers only parts such as Key board buttons, Battery, software issues, etc. and that Monitor - touch screen is not covered. It is clear that as per policy in United States LCD Glass on the display will have to manufactured to rigorous specifications and standard and should not typically crack or break on its own under normal use. I have never used the Laptop purchased at huge cost even for a single day and it is abundantly clear that Laptop is within warranty period and Monitor is not working primarily due to manufacturing defect. Mr Prashanth your technical staff has further stated that full cost at exhorbitant rate will have to be first paid by me online in advance and also Visiting charges for technician and only thereafter the technician will visit my house. He has on has on his own whims and without even examining physically the Laptop decided to levy huge cost, visiting charges, etc on me for no fault on my part. Monitor is not working primarily due to manufacturing defect and there is no fault on my part. I strongly protest against such action by technical staff and urge upon you to do justice to me a very senior citizen and ensure that Monitor-touch screen is replaced without any harassment. - Vaidyanathan, Mob: [protected], email: [protected]@gmail.com

                  Dear all concerned,
                  I submitted my HP Laptop SN: 8CG0366KQS ON 10TH August and the problem was that the USB port was not functioning.. Below is the email letter written escalating to the TVS (service provider) and the HP customer care, when they refused to do under warranty.

                  Letter written on email on refusal to do under warranty:-
                  Greetings for the day! I have your feedback but highly disappointed to know the way resolution is being taken ahead.
                  Firstly, please note that this problem was there since I purchased/ started using the laptop. So there is no question of intentional damage or has been rendered defective by me. It may be noted that I purchased the laptop after partial lockdown in August 2020 as it was an urgent purchase. this issue came in my observation only during gradual use. Since there is another USB port, so was using that only. As the problem still persists, but I didn't compell to go to service centre as wanted to use and also wanted to avoid outside movement. Moreover, the warranty was there.

                  How can you put the blame and tell that it is a damage from the customer? How can you prove that it is intentional damage? Please don't forget that a customer buys the laptop instantly on store visit and it is not expected to sit and examine every software, os and hardware to ensure complete functionality. Kindly be professional and reasonable enough to put your view point. How do you expect the customer to damage his own thing, when you can only insert a USB in the slot and nothing else.

                  I sincerely request to check this part and examine the internal situation. Though I won't hesitate, but would not like to escalate further and would expect to have your support in completing the task under warranty and ensure 100% satisfaction.

                              I want to return my printer and need a refund because i bought a printer Laser Jet Pro M17A. Entire purpose to buy the printer was to print legal pages only. And this printer does not have an option to print legal paper. I spoke to customer service and they refused to refund the amount or replace the product with some other printer which can print Legal paper (8.5 * 14 inches).
                              I have spent around 12K on this and this printer is of no use.
                              I was not told that this printer would not have the option to print Legal paper. This printer is of no use to me.
                              I am highly disappointed that company like HP is unable to give me the refund or replacement with the printer which can print Legal paper.

                                    Hi My Case number is [protected]. I raised installation request on 12th Aug 2021. Till now I have not received any call or mail regarding it. I tried calling customer care more than 7-8 times and not getting any concrete response. Not sure if you have any SLA for this. Please help me get it installed at earliest. Customer care is not able to provide details of the service center where my request has been routed. Please expedite this.

                                      Please look into this as after so many follow ups I still have not got the proper invoice for the services. And when i am explaining any thing to team on mail ID they are replying blindly.

                                      I have paid Rs 14604/- for the screen replacement of my HP laptop and have shared the billing details just after the payment on 31st May'21 and since then i am asking for invoice but they are not sharing the proper invoice and replying the same invoice again and again.

                                        I have purchased HP Laptop in Feb 2021 after few days one of my Laptop Key came out of Keyboard and power button was very hard to press to switch on the Laptop i have registered a complaint with HP India, after so manny follow up my issue is not resolved, HP had denied to provide the resolution by providing warranty as Laptop was under warranty, they are telling that it has been damaged so we will not provide any warranty, but the laptop or keyboard is not damaged one of the key has been came out from keyboard automatically i also requested them that key has been came out but what about power button issue, they said that also will not cover under warranty i have purchased this laptop at Rs.60000 but now HP is not taking responsibility of warranty this is really not acceptable, HP services are very bad, attaching video of key popped out from keyboard along with power button which is very hard to press, request you to please take this complaint and help me to get resolution of my complaint.
