Respected Ma'am/Sir,

I had purchased an HP laptop, Serial number: CND1507WD0 and Product ID: 637X2PA#SCJ from Amazon online on 21 June 2022, for my daughter’s academic use in Bangalore. Kindly note that the following complaint is being raised on a product that is within it’s warranty period.

The laptop worked, as it should, for barely 2 months, post which a trail of complaints and technician visits followed, with utterly non-satisfactory fault detection, repair or response. Please find below the timeline of incidents highlighting the same:
1) 18/09/2022 : Complaint raised regarding the laptop displaying a blue screen with an error message stating "your device ran into an issue" and shutting down abruptly.
2) 19/09/2022 : Technician from HP visited and said they couldn't troubleshoot the reason behind the issue but did a fix that resolved the issue for then.
3) 17/10/2022 : Same blue screen issue reappeared and complaint was raised. Advises with regard to troubleshooting procedures from the customer service team did not resolve the issue, but however in some time the laptop seemed to function properly again, hence the complaint was withdrawn.
4) 05/12/2022 : Same issue; complaint raised for third time; same sequence of customer care; resulting in alternative cycles of functioning and malfunctioning of the laptop. No permanent solution or proper troubleshooting received from HP India.
5) 01/2023 : Laptop approached a complete state of rest refusing to switch on at all.
6) 12/01/2023 : Technician visited and informed that it is a Mother Board Issue and that they would repair the laptop soon by replacing the faulty parts with new ones.
7) 20/01/2023 : Subsequently, another technician visited and claimed that the Mother Board was burnt. He removed one RAM, and was hopeful about the laptop functioning fine with the intervention, although to no use. The laptop continues to be a faulty device that does not switch on, till date.

This detailed timeline is illustrated to bring clarity on the fact that this laptop purchased from a much trusted brand like HP has been unfortunately, nothing short of a wreck so far, providing no value for the money spent or competent and prompt customer service. My daughter, a university student who requires a functioning laptop for her studies, has suffered greatly due to these cycles over the past 6-7 months since its purchase. This has been not just a monetary concern but also has been a mentally exhausting process for my daughter and myself as a parent, with back and forth complaints and conversations, all to mere dismay. This is beyond what can be tolerated as a customer and I urge HP India to look into the matter urgently and provide a proper replacement of the faulty laptop, as repair has evidently produced no results.

I humbly request the Indian Consumer Complaints Forum to expediate the process and stand by me to protect my rights as a customer and Indian citizen.

    I purchased a HyperX mouse in amazon on 27.07.2021 which has 2 years warranty. I am having some issues in the mouse which is under warranty. So I contacted HP since HyperX is aquired by HP. They gave me details of skypro technologies to go claim warranty there. I got a case raised for warranty replacement online with hp support. But skypro technologies said that they don't need that, they will raise it again by themselves. I submitted my mouse on 21.11.2022 even after knowing poor service of them since this is the only service center for HP in chennai. You can check the reviews of them from maps which will be very poor and the numbers they provided won't work. I tried calling them to multiple numbers and finally someone accidentally picked up the phone after 20 days. I asked them about the status because they said only 10 days when I submitted the mouse. They were saying reasons that they had issue with website so they are yet to submit the warranty claim and asked 10 more days. Then nobody is picking up the calls and even if they pick sometime they don't provide the status of replacement and cut the call inbetween. I tried contacting customer care again, they were saying the same thing again and again that they will arrange a call with skypro technologies. I haven't got any response afterwards. It has been almost 3 months now. I am not even sure that they will give my mouse back.

    I again got a call from customer care that they will arrange a call with service centre. Still I didn't get any calls regarding my mouse warranty claim status.

    I contacted the service center again on 11/02/2023 and they said they will look into the status and get back. And they didn't call me back. They did the same thing earlier also.

        I logged the issue on Nov 1st regarding my laptop issue. but their side still has no response and the issue has not been resolved yet. it keeps going. and they replace old components and refurbished them. it's almost all components changed. but still, the issue is not solved yet. because they replace old components and refurbished them. I need a replacement or give me my money now. I don't trust their service anymore.

              Hp agent had come to fix my laptop keyboard. After that problem was resolved, I asked him how to fix my laptops battery. He said he would bring a replacement and asked me to pay 3000 rupees for the battery. I trusted him as an hp agent and unfortunately forgot to take a receipt for the payment. Its been over 3 months and he has not given me the battery yet. Whenever I call him, he keeps telling that he will bring it the next day and keeps delaying.

                I faced a black screen error with power button light blinking on my HP Laptop 2 months back (it has been logged as power issue as am unaware of the actual issue). I called customer care and later one engineer came to home and did replace battery and it worked fine. Then again within a week the same issue happened. Again one more engineer came and replaced Mother board and then it worked.

                Now again for third time am facing same issue. My laptop is not powering on. Only black screen i see with no error message and power button LED light is blinking.

                Now my laptop is out of warranty. Last time itself i have mentioned this issue is keep on recurring and seems there is bigger issue in my laptop and need extension of warranty or replacement of laptop. But there is no response from the team at all. Now my laptop is out of warranty and not sure how much it will cost me. Now customer care executives are saying it will be a paid service only and will not be covered under warranty.

                First of all the machine itself is faulty and within a year of purchase am facing issue 3 times and now it is out of warranty as well. I need a solution for this. And i cannot pay for the service as well as i have informed about this recurring issue before itself. So either extend my warranty/ replace my faulty machine.

                Fed up with the way HP respond to their faulty machines. Seriously concerned about this and in a mood to not to suggest HO products to anyone. Such an money hoarding company. Spent 60k for a laptop which is not in use within 12 months. How horrible it is.

                There is no response from HP in here or from the official complaint which i have raised through email and calls as well. Totally frustrated with their pathetic service. Worst ever

                  We are suffering a lot with hp i have purchased hp 11 gens sn: CND2104R7W
                  on 17 Nov 2022, after next day I have faced a lot of issues but hp denying the issue. Changed motherboard, how can we accept it. It's a new laptop we didn't even used it. How can we suffer since purchased. The laptop cost is 60000. It is unfair please hp help me replace with new product with same laptop. I can't accept it. The laptop is not with i deny taking it. Please help me replace or else I will proceed legally. I have suffered mentally a with you.

                    I have purchased hp 11gen laptop on[protected], in the nearer store but it heats so much and automatically restart and blue screen error and freezing. They said we will see but it didn't resolved and the technician came and changed motherboard we didn't even know. We only called the store. Now its been 25 days they took. I said I don't want to take back. I want replacement but the hp and store denying it and saying call cables refixed it is working fine.
                    Hp is such a bad company I want only refund or replacement. Because they didn't noticed me before 14 days now they are denying the problem.

                        Need replacement or refund of this product my issue not resolved yet
                        Facing usb Issue purchase on 16th dec and within 3day showing error...no one help me with same...
                        All troubleshooting and followed step per instructions..given by HP..and now my laptop has been locked and cx support saying wait for 72 hrs...

                          Actually i have buyed laptop on September 14, at the time of opening i have faced a problem in display where keyboard impression and then i have raised complaint regarding this and laptop declared as DOA. Then i have hand overed the laptop to reseller on September last week. I have facing the problem that still now replacement is not received to me It has been 3 months completed. I have been trying to contact hp but there is no proper response from hp and reseller
                          The reseller keep on making delay day by day.
                          This monday i have received mail regarding replacement that Thursday will definitely laptop will receive but that is wrong information given by area saled manager
                          They are saying laptop is received but wrong with specifications this is childish reason

                            Previously i've submitted my complaints 5 times. The HP representative came in and resolved my laptop issues. But soon after, the same complaint is showing. First of all they have changed my hard disk, then the next time the fan. Still heating and automatic shutting down prevails.

                              I bought this premium laptop for a premium price of Rs.80, 000 less than two years ago. Around 3 months ago, while closing the laptop display, the hinge got stuck internally (without any manual intervention) due to which the screen got separated from the body (The official HP Center service executive confirmed that it is product's manufacturing defect). Upon going to the official HP service center, the laptop was repaired and given back after 2 weeks on payment of approximately Rs.12, 000 for the repair.
                              Just in about 1-1.5 months of receiving the laptop, I observed overheating issues. The keyboard, touch pad and base of the laptop become too hot to even touch and sometimes gave a burnt smell and eventually the laptop abruptly shut down with an Error message on the screen "Hard disk not found 3F0"

                              After paying such hefty amounts for the laptop and repair (nearly 1 lakh Rs.80, 000 + Rs.12, 000), the laptop lasted hardly for 2 years. As the product is now past warranty period, HP is unwilling to help with the issue. I seriously condemn the low quality offered by HP even with premium products like this one and their irresponsible and exploitative attitude towards customers by being unresponsive and unwilling to listen to the grievances.

                              I strictly demand for a full refund or replacement for the product from HP and request Consumer forum to provide me a reasonable resolution to the problem.

                                    I bought a HP Laptop vide invoice no. SLA[protected] on 05/06/2022. At the time of purchase of this product i was told that this machine has a battery back up upto 6 hrs while using this machine, it hardly run for 2 hrs after full battery charge which is highly condemnable thing. Please take the action accordingly and fulfill the your word of mouth.

                                        Bought a new laptop on June end of this year, immediately found multiple issues. Contacted hp team for refund but they said only after checking the system they will refund which I accepted. But they delayed and arranged technician visit very late. He upgraded bios and disabled the upgrade. Wss getting the same ussue again. When I informed it to hp support team and asked for refund, they did the same thing as above and this time technician said motherboard will be updated. Best comedy is they have to order and I have to wait which I did. He said if it is not working then they will refund. Finally they changed the motherboard and still the same problem. But not refunding the money. Worst experience, shared the ticket details below
