HP India — HP USB Drive v236w not working, issue unresolved

I've purchased a USB Drive from HP last month through Flipkart which stopped working last week after extreme heating. I contacted HP multiple times regarding this issue and every time they provided me with alternative numbers, which they claimed to be of some authorised service centres near my place; but when contacted most of them who were authorised service centres for HP don't service usb drives and some of them were not at all related to HP in any manner. I tried whatsapp chatting, virtual assistant, voice call and even email, nothing worked. They were not much concerned about my issue.
