HP India — not providing replacement for product

I ordered hp v104 battery on 19th jan via hpshopping website and also i received the product. Unfortunately its not the correct battery (I opened the product).

So i asked replacement product to their team via mail. But they said they cant able to provide it because i opened the product.

How can i find out the product is correct without open the box..
I sent many mails but no use.

Received product: hp v104 battery
Replacement product : mc04 14.8v/2550mah
