[Resolved] HP India — Unresolved battery replacement issue
I had placed a complaint regarding my current battery in the laptop. The customer care told me that they would send a technician to replace it within 2 3 working days. Its been more than 14 days now and the customer care are totally negligent in addressing my concerns. Before even repairing the product they demand a payment and then when payment is made, they start harassing the customer by either not picking up calls or redirecting the calls to somebody else, till the line itself disconnects. I had pleaded to them so many times that I am a college student and I have my interviews coming up soon, so I need the laptop repaired urgently, but they don't seem to care at all after the payment was made. I didn't expect this at all from a reputed company like HP.
I have been calling the service center and the toll free number for about 10-15 times almost everyday, literally begging them to resolve my issue asap, but they just don't care.

After a lot of incessant calling, I was connected to the head of service repairs for pan India and he assured me to send a technician within 2 days. He kept his promise and was really helpful unlike the customer care people.
