I am writing with reference to my case I'd [protected].
I had issues with my laptop sincerely last two weeks. I called HP to get them to send an on site engineer.
In the beginning you guys didn't agree that this is a hardware issue. After a long time on the call finally you agreed to send an engineer last Wednesday.
The engineer called me up on Wednesday and told me that he will be coming on Friday morning at 9 am. I planned my day accordingly and stayed at my place instead of going to office.
The engineer didn't come to my place till 10.15 am. I called him up several times but he never picked up the phone.
Then I sent him a sms that I will file a complaint against him.
I got a call from someone else who said that the engineer isn't supposed to come before 10 am and that he can now come on Monday. When I resisted he said that he will close down the case.
I called up HP Customer Care center and spoke for over an hour. I was assured that swift action will be taken and an engineer will be coming on Friday or Saturday.
However noone came or I didn't get a call from anyone on Friday or Saturday.
I then again called the HP service centre on Monday and registered a strong complaint against the engineer. I got assurance that the matter has been taken up with the highest authority and that the engineer will come today.
However no engineer came on Monday also. In between I got a call from a service representative ...she said she represents the Western region, I was in a meeting and asked her to call back in 30 mins. She never called back. I tried calling her but she didn't pick up the phone.
I also got a sms by someone saying that he is the customer service engineer, I immediately replied back on the sms and even tried calling him but he never picked up the phone or replied to the sms.
My laptop was unattended on Monday.
I then called up again the HP Customer Care on Tuesday. I was told that they can't do anything about it as it is UpTo the customer service representative to go and visit.
You have wasted more than one week of my professional life, I have spent several hours speaking to you.
I have already paid for the product and on site warrant and since you have failed to provide me timely service and caused great discomfort ...I would like you to take back the laptop and refund me my money. You should also take action against all those concerned.
In case you don't agree with the same, I would be force to take this to a consumer court.
