Hp — warranty on headphones

i purchased a hp laptop in July 30 2013, under redemption offer i got a headset which had warranty of 1 year but now it is not working well . i contacted nearest HP service center in Jaipur, but they asked for bill, which HP has not provided me with . the vendor also refused to provide me with a bill since they did not gave me the headset. i do not have the bill since hp did not provided me with one but i have the e mails from HP about the confirmation on selection of headset under redemption offer as proof . kindly help me.
