I had bought an HTC P3300 around a year back on 4th June 2008 from Reliance Digital Store in Banjara Hills Hyderabad. Below are the Phone details.

I had bought this phone to meet my following requirement’s ---

1) Check my mails on the move and
2) GPS system

Everything was fine till I configured my outlook to send receive official mails. To my surprise I realized that Outlook and Map king software don’t work together.

The mobile started giving memory error and didn’t run Map king software. Every time I had to run GPS I would delete outlook mails, then disable it and restart the phone.

I checked the HTC website and didn’t get any hot fix for it. It’s almost a year I have been waiting for fix. My warranty will expire in next few weeks. I would like to get a fix for this.

Other than this the phone speaker stopped working and was replaced( P/N 36H00464) couple of days back. Unfortunately we still have a loose connection and the speaker stops working intermittently.

Would like to give HTC a chance to provide fix /resolution for the same before I take the matter to consumer court, as the product which has been sold is not working as per specifications and not fit for the purpose.

Awaiting your response.

I purchased a HTC P3452 last june which is still under warranty in mumbai, i tried contacting the service centre but they were not ready to lodge my complaint. the number which i called was[protected]/95 and the concerned person was some Mr Pankaj. now i dont know what to do as my warranty will expire next month and i will be let helpless. i advice everyone not to ever buy a HTC mobile as it is just not me but hundreds of customers who have been cheated by this company.

I have depostied my HTC touch mobile on 5May09 at delhi okhla service centre, but till today i have not get any call from service centre. when i call, then they say it will take more time.and they say parts is not available. The problem is 'phone not charging'.Its very painful.When i deposit my phone then they say it will take two days . but after ten days past i don't get any call.

My company claims that it has deposited my TDS for the assesment year 2008-09 in the Income tax account of the bank.But as per the document mailed to me by IT dept, after filing my returns, the tax has actually not been deposited into the IT dept account.Whenever I approach my company they give a silly excuse that they will look into it and ask me to come after 1 week that ofcourse never ends.Please suggest me some solution so that I can claim my advance that had been deducted by the company but yet not deposited into the govt IT account.

I am really annoyed that the money that we earn get stolen without notice.

PL. TRACK MY LOST MOBILE

I lost my Mobile of HTC make, model HTCP3452 bearing IMEI no.-[protected] & having Vodaphone SIM inserted in it of mob. no. - [protected]. I need your help in tracing it so I request you to do the followg.

I have a HTC P5500 for which the warranty period expired on the 10th of Jan 2009. Soon after that there was a problem in the touch screen pannel of the phone and i gave for a check to a HTC certified service center in Noida called GNH Telecom. They kept my phone for 3 weeks and replaced the touch display pannel and charged Rs 3000 for the part. The set worked fine for a week and then the same issue occured again. On going back to GNH telecome i was told that they no longer are a part of HTC so they cant check the set anymore and adviced me to take the phone to the head office in Okhla Phase 2 called Salora International. I got the set checked there was told that the display pannel needs to be replaced again as there is no warranty on the parts of the phone that are replaced, so thats another Rs 3000/- and also there was an issue with the network connectivity of the phone for which i was told that who ever repaired it the last time (GNH Telecom) has done something called REFLOW activity which has damaged the liquid in the phone and this cannot be repaired again. Now i am left with a Handset for which i paid 24000 rupees which can now only be used as a paper weight. If there is anything that consumer forum can do about this, it'll be greatly appriciated.

I bought a HTC Touch phone 7 months back and since past 1 week i have been facing a problem in operating its touch screen. The screen is not working as what ever i press the stylus is unable to click on it.
I tried finding out about your service centre but i was told that there is just one in Okhla. Since m a resident of north Delhi it is highly inconvenient for me to travel all the way to Okhla. It will be kind of you to please suggest me a service station in or nearby north Delhi.
Please note my phone is still under warranty and i still possess the bill of purchase

This is regarding HTC TOUCH phone in bought in may last year. I bought the phone from Mobile House in Noida, bill dated 08.05.2008. S/N of Phone is SZ815G614202. The Phone was working fine till november. In november, one day when i switched on the phone in the morning, the buttons on the front panel were functioning strangely. On pressing any button on the front panel, camera got activated. I tried soft reset, but it didnt help. Then i tried hard resetting the device. But to my shock, the buttons now stopped responding completely and the phone got stuck on the hard reset screen sinse the buttons didnt respond to confirm or reject the reset. I had a real hard time and faced many problems since i could not call and end the calls easily. I took the phone to the GNH telecom in noida. They told me that there is some fault with the main board and it will be replaced. They took about 25 days to replace the phone during which i had many hardships because i didnt have a replacement phone and the service centre refused to provide one. I got the phone back after many requests and frequent visits to the service centre. The new IMTI no. of the main board was [protected] as against the old ITMI no. i.e. [protected]. After this the phone worked fine for about 7 days. After 7 days the phone developed the same problem in the same manner. i.e. after awitching on the phone, the buttons didn't respond and on soft resetting also, the phone got stuck on the hard reset screen. I took the phone back to the GNH telecom in noida. They took the phone for checking and reported a week later that the main board has to be changed again. This time i got the phone after 35 days of submitting. The new IMTI no. till date is [protected]. When i got the phone back, the front panel of the phone was loose and the screws at the back were not fitting. The screws even came out without a screwdriver. i reported this to GNH, but they just tightened the screws again and told me that front panel has to be changed but its not in stock. This has been the condition since today. Yesterday to my shock and horror, the phone developed the earlier problem yet again! the buttons which ever pressed is activating the camera. if i try to switch the phone off or soft reset it, the phone goes to the hard reset option. The buttons at various points of time have even stopped responding. I cannot call from the phone directly. I have reported the problem on the website also. I am very upset with the service provided by HTC and GNH and donot wish to give the phone for service. The phone has developed problem which cannot be rectified, and even if done, will develop it again. Therefore i want HTC to kindly replace my handset immediately

I am using HTC Touch (P3452) for last 2 months. Sometimes I am facing a critical problem when my phone stays in SLEEP mode. I usually press power button to turn the phone to SLEEP mode. It helps me to save battery energy (I think, every body does this). But when some one calls me, it should turn to the ACTIVATED mode autometically and play the ring tone, so that I can pay my attention that some one is calling me. But it does not wake up, no ringtone, no missed-call entry in call history register. But Caller hears a full caller Tune, so latter, caller blames me that I refuses to attend his/her call.

But, In a situation like, someone is calling me, phone is in SLEEP mode. Fortunately I press power button. Then it starts to play ring, otherwise it doesnot play tone.

Shown twice to your Service centre. they 've changed the board too, but facing same problems again...

Hi, I am Krishna. I bought a HTC Touch phone from Sri Vasavi Mobiles on Jan 5, 2008. Phone was working really good when i bought it. exactly after 6 months phone had connector problem. So went to HTC Touch authorised service center in Chennai - Salora. I got it repaired it at free of cost. Again, exactly on Jan 5, 2009 my phone had software problem so I went to Salora and they had upgraded the software to the latest for which they charged me as waranty had expired the previous day. At last my phone was totally dead on March 6, 2009. I went to the service center and they told me the motherboard had gone and it will cost Rs13000 to repair it. I was shocked when i heard it.

How can a phone go dead exactly after the waranty period? I dont know what to do in this regards. I need someone to help me in getting justice from the HTC Touch company.

my mobiles touch screen has been broken from inside i dont know how it happened actually and this happened in the warrenty peraid only so can the touch screen be replaced and do u charge for this and were can i get this replaced in mumbai and please provide me a service center

Myself Aniruddh I have purchased my HTC TOUCH DUAL on date 6th January, 2008 after purchasing the phone may be within two months means in Feb i had a problem of charging that when i charge my phone it gets hot and the orange light which is shown while charging starts blinking and charging is just stopped, I came to service center RT OUT SOURCING SERVICE LIMITED IN AHMADABAD but when i showed them my phone i didn't get hot that time i was asked to take back on next day it again got hot so i came again that time also didn't got hot so i was told to keep phone under observation for a weak i kept there but they told i didn't get hot but when i got there to collect phone i just tried to charge in service center and i got hot so showed then that see i is getting hot they told they will send it to Delhi as they can't solve over here so i told ok they replaced my "MBD" and gave me back from Feb it came back to me in April and when i was testing phone in service center i found out camera didn't work so i told that instance only before making my job sheet they again told keep phone and i got my phone repaired on 24/4/08 it was with service center from Feb nearly last weak to April last weak so nearly 2 months.

Again i had a problem with phone that when open the keypad sliding keypad screen calibration got gets lost i didn't work properly i showed then on July first week they told that they wold check it and reply me after a week i contact them at that time they told it needs to be sent to Delhi i told ok send it IS IT SO THAT YOU CONFIRM TO CUSTOMER BEFORE SENDING TO DELHI IF IT'S SO THEY MIGHT HAVE CONTACT ME WHY EVERY TIME I NEED TO ASK. After a month or so when i inquired about phone they told there is problem in FPC cable and this was told from Delhi so don't Delhi people repair the phone just say this is problem solve it is it so after that i was again asked to wait but later i got a reply which was shocking that company is not sending them the cable they are doing mail daily so i was told to wait i was tired so asked the company by calling on toll free no.[protected] they told me they would look after my case and will call me but no one called me from Delhi also i was told we will call you but no one did the names who told me was MR.ANSAR & MR. GAURAV so every time when i call service center no. i was made on hold for 20-30 Min's i was calling them for providing Ahmadabad service center FPC cable which wasn't my responsibility is it my responsibility?
i think it was mine as i needed the phone to be repaired and at last when they sent the cable Ahmadabad service center people told there is problem of cable there is another problem while for this whole process that from Delhi which is they sent cable i daily called them that SIR HAVE YOU SENT THE CABLE after sending parts in courier via air it takes TWO DAYS TO A COURIER REACH AHMADABAD Via AIR i haven't heard that it take two days.
Again the phone was sent to Delhi and at this time i had call from Delhi i argued with MR. Gaurav and Mr. Bharat bhai that now i don't want that phone i need it to be replaced (means "Swapped" in service center people language) but he told me he needs to ask and after that he assured me and gave a commitment that it would be swapped but it will take time of 4 days i told ok after 4 days i called him again on toll free no. to ask status he told that i need to talk to Mr.Gaurav gave his no. he also made many commitments of giving me phone in 4 days, 2 days, 1 week etc. as he was in Bombay so i think if he is not over there no courier was sent and if courier is sent i might go to wrong place and many more tricks to fool me and at last got phone on 27/9/08 and at that time when i got phone on the next day i got problem of charging A SWAPPED PHONE HAD A PROBLEM OF GETTING HOT WHILE CHARGING AND AGAIN SAME PROBLEM AS I FACED IN FEB IT STOPPED CHARGING. I again call Mr. gaurav got number of Mr. Umesh. He also swapped my phone again gave many commitments to about getting in 2 days and 1week need some time like that when ever i got phone it got hot they had told that they personally checked it but when i got the phone on next day or the day itself when i charge it got hot i had talked to many person such as Mr. Umesh, Mr. Sanjay pandita, Mr. Suhiyog, Mr.pankaj and many i think may be all the person in technical department ever time new person handles my case and says i need time i don't know that do you have any record or not can't they check records.
Recently in December when i called Mr. Umesh he told my board and all parts has been dispatched on 31st December, 2008 and i will get in two there days but the courier was not been reached in Ahmadabad till 6th Jan, 2009.I got it on 7th Jan, 2009 Mr. Ravi gave it to my dad on 8 pm and i got in my had at 10 pm at 10.30pm i had message Mr. Umesh, Mr.Suhiyog and to Mr. Ravi that phone has a hanging problem i had format the phone with factory restore and still it got hot so next day i was asked to give it back to service center from that day Mr. Umesh is not picking up my phone not replying of any sms so what shall i consider it is he hiding of his responsibilities i had told him call on any time on Sunday also.Whenever i tell him about my issue he says don't worry i will extend your warranty what shall i do of warranty without a phone.
Till now my phone is with service center it has been too long time please sir do some thing.
Sir my phones board has been changed 7-10 times & phone has been swapped 4 times but frankly speaking i really don't think they are swapping my phone i think they just exchange my board with other customers and give them mine because i don't think after so many replacement a phone doesn't work or admit the phone has a manufacturing defect.
I don't know that i have bought phone for you people or myself because from day i have purchase i am having problem only.

I have purchased a HTC cellphone on 16th Jan 2009 but did not switched on the phone in the shop( As I was gifting to my wife and wanted her to switch on.)
I have switched on at home and saw that the internal screen has cracked.
I went for replacement but not got any proper reply from them

I, Jyotirmoy Banerjee, have purchased a HTC hand set P3400 (IMEI No: [protected], S/N No: HT804FW02504, P/N No: 99HCZ022-00) from Capital Chowringhee Pvt. Ltd. on 22nd March 2008 amounting to Rs.10, 760/- only.
One and half month ago one of the pins of the SIM slot has been broken and I have to repair it from Nokia Service Center from Varanasi. (as I have no option to come to Kolkata or nearest service center). They service my phone and it worked again. On 12th January 2009 I came to kolkata and went to RT Outsourcing Services Ltd, 2 No. Ripon street, Kolkata 16. They received my hand set and assured me that the SIM slot will be replaced. (My set has no any other problem at all it was in very good working condition). After a day they called me for approval of estimation and the estimate was Rs.11, 700/- only (Which is ridiculous because recent value of the set is approx. Rs9, 600/-). I told them not to do any thing with my phone and I went there on 15th January 2009 to collect the set and I found my set was became completely dead whereas I gave it to them in fully working condition.
I want clarification for that and they told me some technical term which I can’t understand. (I simply know that, when I disapprove to do anything with my set then why my set become dead as it was in working condition) There clarification is noted down which I attached with this mail. I don’t clam for warranty as it was void and I told them I will pay for the SIM slot replacement. They never warn me that when they check the set it will be dead then certainly I refuse to give them my set.
Now, I refuse to take the set from the service center and I am looking for your kind perusal in this regard. I have a faith of HTC, and I know you will cooperate to your one of the customers.

My 11 months old HTC P3300 is giving major problems, getting switched off on connecting to calls, and accessing internet. I bought my P3400i on July'2008 but it started giving me problem just after 4 months. it was used to charge completely within one hour, but charging used to drop within seconds just after disconnecting the charger. distributor replaced the battery twice but the problem persisted, then he sent the set to service centre, they claimed to correct the problem & sent the set back to me, but the problem is still there.
