Purchased mobile was launched in market in Oct and I purchased this in same month on 04/10/2015 in Rs. 21, 999. On 17/02/2016 i got an issue in screen display when i visited Customer Care of HTC Indore they informed the screen is broken from inside and they can't accept this mobile under warranty and it will take 20-21 days as Spare part is not available as we have to order the spare parts and I have to pay Rs. 6000. I ask them a reason of this damage as this never fall and how is it possible that outside screen is fine and inside screen broken but they don't have any answer every time they as me you tell sir how this handset screen broke.

Even I told them if they can provide any temporary phone for a period till this phone repair but they said your mobile cost is cheaper so we can't provide that.

After a long discussion with Mr. Narendra (person working at HTC Service center Indore) told me that there is defect in this model due to which HTC discontinue this model and they are giving another phone as replacement to al the customers (It means they already received lots of similar complain from other customer) they said give us 1 week we will give you new model which is latest model, better and more expensive[protected] only you have to pay Rs. 6, 000.

When they said it's more latest model and expensive than my current one I agreed to pay 6000. They told me to visit on 26/02/2016 and they will give me new handset.

Today 26/02/2015 when I called them they told me that they still haven't received my piece for replacement they received 8-10 piece from the company which they already distributed to customers and it will take 1 more week to deliver my piece. When I ask them which model they are giving Mr. Narendra told me it HTC Desire 826 and when I esquired that what warranty I will get they said same warranty which left on your old handset that means aprox. 6 months. Than i asked them this mobile phone come with box so that I will resale this handset immediately as Now I don't trust HTC company and I feel that it's by biggest mistake that I have purchased HTC mobile. Mr Narendra Said you will not get box you will only get handset if you want we can give you letter which shows that this phone you got against previous mobile. If still you have concern please connect with HTC Customer Care people.

When I researched on this mobile I came to know that this mobile launched in Jan 2015 (When I purchase my phone it was the latest one launched in Oct 2015 and now they are giving me Old model HTC 826 which I assume that already discontinue as this model is no visible on HTC Website) and market value of this mobile is[protected].

After talking to Mr. Narendra I called on HTC customer care Mr Aravind (Floor Manager). Where I had discussion on below issue.

1. Internal display broken when it was in pocket and there is no scratch on outer body still they are not considering mobile under out of warranty but again customer care people don't now the reason they only mention that might be mobile bent and due to which internal screen damage. When I told them if it bend it means its damaged due to company defects they said no sir it's not company defects.

2. They are offering me another model as replacement as my model is discount for the replacement they are asking me Rs. 6900 (earlier they said 6000 not 6900) and they are offering me Jan 2015 which is not on HTC Website. I told them if you are charging me for this replacement mobile please give me latest model and let me know what amount I have to pay for that but they said sorry sir that is not possible we can give you only this model and you have to pay 6900 for this.

3. On the other side warranty will be only 6 month and I will not get box so i will not be able to sale this. I told them if you are giving me this mobile atleast provide me box and 12 months warranty so that I can sell that phone easily but again they said sorry we can't do that. Your mobile will be under warranty till the purchase date of previous mobile.

4. Even I told them I don't want replacement repair my mobile and give me back and for a time being give me spare mobile for use and I will pay Rs 6900 but they said. we can't give you spare phone and we have to check how much time it will take to get the spare parts from Taiwan as we don't have spare parts available for this phone what ever spare parts produced by the company all are finished. It might be take month or more than that.

After talking to both the guys I feel that I am fool that I purchased HTC mobile.

Can anyone please let me know what I can do so that I will get a a solution of above problem. I have all the call recorded on my mobile as a proof of this.

I am fine of paying 6900 but I need latest mobile with 12 month warranty and box or I need this HTC 826 without any charger than I am fine without box and 6 month warranty or pay me Rs 15000 only and I don't want any mobile.

Again I am facing the same issue. Again my phone screen cracked without any reason same scenario cracked from inside and outer screen is perfect
