Hyundai — Escalation on Faulty Clutch Assembly Part < 1 year

Vehicle Details:

• Clutch Replacement Date:[protected]

The clutch assembly was replaced at an authorized Hyundai service center on[protected]. However, within less than one year of replacement and after normal vehicle usage, the clutch has failed again and requires replacement.
The car had battery discharge issue in December 2025 and as you notice in service history, twice car was taken for running repair / service on top of above.
The car was brought to service center in the month of March for clutch issue where the service engineers refined / made adjustment with which I have been asked to continue driving / using the CAR despite the vibration in 1st gear or 2nd gear.
Last week, it was absolute mess with CAR stopped in middle of road due to this clutch issue and when taken to service centre on 1st June, I am given to understand that 6/7 spares of clutch assembly to be replaced again ???

A critical component such as the clutch is expected to have a significantly longer service life. Failure within such a short period raises serious concerns regarding:
1. The quality of the replacement part supplied.
2. The workmanship during installation.
3. The possibility of a manufacturing defect in the clutch assembly.

I have maintained the vehicle as per Hyundai's recommended service schedule and have not subjected it to any abnormal operating conditions that would justify such premature failure.

As a loyal Hyundai customer, I am disappointed by this situation and the inconvenience, financial burden, and loss of confidence it has caused. I request Hyundai's regional office to:

• Conduct a detailed investigation into the failed clutch assembly.
• Review the service records and replacement history.
• Arrange for a goodwill replacement or appropriate compensation considering the unusually short lifespan of the part.
• Provide a written explanation of the root cause of the failure.
