Dear concerned,
I have been a die hard hyundai client since 2008 and have been canvassing for hyundai motors in my circle. Also, i have affinity for korean products since i am associated with samsung india for the past 12+ years.
However, today's incident has completely lost my trust in the brand which i decided to bring to your kind notice through this mail.
I requested for pick-up of my hyundai i10 car for due service from mahadev hyundai located at nhpc chowk, mathura road, faridabad which is hardly 4~5 kms from my residence, sector 28, faridabad. My car was picked up on 14th dec'19 around 10 am. Fortunately, i took a photograph of the kilo-meter reading and level of petrol which was 100% due to petrol filling which i got done on the penultimate day (Pic attached)
We were also offered for a drop of car post service, but we opted for self pick up since we were coming back from delhi in my second car. We visited the showroom on 14th evening also to enquire about purchasing hyundai creta in exchange of my honda city car, cheking the renewal premium of insurance expiring on end of dec'19. We paid for the service charge requested by the service department of mahadev hyundai and decided to put the car for insurance claim due to some recent damages.
We visited the showroom again today evening to pick up the car and re-visit the showroom for finalizing the purchase of creta car.in fact, we came in our honda city car to finalize the exchange as well.
We waited for almost 45 minutes and paid for the expenses of around rs 1900/- towards the final amount to be paid by us against the insurance claim. To our surprise, as i was about to take my car, i realized that the fuel tank was almost 60% which was immediately brought to the notice of service manager mr kuldeep singh. He was kind enough to take up the matter. Since i was getting late, i immediately realized, settlement may take time and asked my family to leave in the other car deciding not to finalize the new car with hyundai.
Looking into the delaying approach from service team, i immediately called up the call center of hyundai @[protected]. I was taken on conference call with mr kuldeep post which, mahadev team accepted their mistake immediately and my car was immediately re-fuelled with almost 15+ litres of petrol. Acknowledgement (Attached) for this re-fuelling was taken from me. I have also mentioned my comments in the acknowledgement.
Sir, i work in a korean company for the past 12 years as gm, sales and can understand the reprimand issued to employees for doing such kind of mischief / theft. With this incident, i have completely lost my trust on mahadev hyundai and changed my mind to buy creta. Infact, same was told to sales team present in the showroom today evening.
I look forward to suitable compensation for my harassment and time wastage post this incident at mahadev hyundai. Also, request for suitable enquiry and reprimand for the person responsible.
I shall be completely open to share my feedback as and when required.
Looking forward to a speedy action on the feedback.
