Hyundai Motor India — Santro risky jerky movement & pop sound

Hi All,

Please treat this as an escalation.

We have a Santro bought in Mar 2021.

Issue: When we start the car, movement is very limited with jerks. It kind of almost stops even when we are stepping on the accelerator. After driving for a distance there is a pop sound that comes up as well. This makes it risky when there are other vehicles & while overtaking.

The problem has been persistent from the time we bought the Santro. From the 1st service & every subsequent one we have raised this issue but still the problem persists. We later raised a complaint with the Santro head office and the local service center tried to fix the issue but sadly in a month the problem recurred and we have no resolution yet!

This is extremely frustrating to have this kind of an experience with Hyundai. At this point, I find it risky to use it on the road and would expect Hyundai to recall the car. Please let me know how to proceed further.
