I recently had my vehicle (Hyundai Grand i10 – 2017 model) serviced in December 2024 at Narayana Hyundai, Bijapur (Karnataka). During the service, I specifically requested a complete engine checkup, but they only carried out a regular service and charged me approximately ₹22, 000+.
Now that I'm facing a serious issue with heavy smoke, I’ve discovered that the engine checkup was never actually performed. This has caused a lot of confusion and inconvenience. After keeping my vehicle for over 12 hours, the service team has still not identified the root cause and is now recommending an additional level of inspection.
This situation reflects a clear lack of communication and accountability. I'm extremely disappointed with the handling of the service and the unclear process that followed.
