Dear sir / madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about flights

The issue that i have experienced was: corona refund-related - my booking id is n6exl8wgg, though the airline has refunded the entire amount, goibibo has deducted the convenience charges, while booking the ticket they have offered some discounts on convenience fee and charged only 334 +18% gst. However, at the time of cancellation, they have charged me rs. 1600/- towards the cancellation charges. The flight was canceled by the airline... Hence requested for a refund, they are not responding to my calls and mails

It occurred on: 8/06/2020

    I booked a flight for 11th april 2020 from toronto to delhi. The pnr of my booking is jkns7. From the beginning of the lockdown, i have been constantly trying to get in touch with customer support centre regarding the flight status as to what options i have regarding my booking as the government ordered suspension of flights all over the world, but i did not received any response from your end. I have been writing emails and calling the customer care numbers but they did not responded to the same. I was not contacted even once by your authorities for asking me whether i want to cancel my booking or i need to reschedule my journey. It was an irresponsible act from your end by deducting a huge amount of rs. 28000 from the total amount i paid when i was booking my ticket. As far as the airlines are concerned, they are providing refund vouchers of the same amount to be used in one year. This practice of yours to extort money from your customers is punishable by law.

      Goibibo initiated a refund of 35212 on 14th march 2020. But i have received only 19605 rupee, still 15607 is pending. I have complained many time but no response from goibibo regarding my refund.

        There is a debit of rs.25000/- done from my savings account by ibibo web pvt ltd, which is fraud. We have not initiated any such online payment

        We have not received any intimation nor an sms regarding the same. No msg regarding the debit too.

          No refund after failed transaction

          My application for tee (Term end examination) (Ignou, ba, year 1) dec. 2017 was unsuccessful after three trials.
          But money amounting to 600*3=1800 had been debited.
          It has not been credited back even to this date.
          I want my money back....

          I have booked flight tickets on 11th december, 2019 for travel on 13th april and 22nd april 2020 from cochin to port blair and back respectively in spice jet and indigo flights. Unfortunately, due to national lockdown during the travel period, on my request, airlines have refunded the fares to the travel agency i. E goibibo.
          I am unable to contact goibibo as they don't provide any contact information in their web portal.
          Please do help me to get my refund urgently.

              We have booked our flights from ahmedabad to bangkok and return dated 1st may 2020 to 6th may 2020.
              Due to covid 19 our flights got cancelled from air asia.
              We are trying to contact both the comapnies continuously but none of them respond and our calls are disconnected.

              We as a customer invest our money in a reputed and well known companies and still they are doing such frauds!!!

                I booked two international flight tickets from Goibibo (round trip) for me and my husband on **th February, ****. My date of journey was **rd May, **** and the return flight was on **th May, ****. Due to Covid** lockdown, both the flights were cancelled by respective airlines assuring us of getting a full refund. On contacting the airlines, they confirmed that they had already processed a cash refund of both the flights to the concerned travel agency (Goibibo). However, my repeated attempts of getting in touch with Goibibo through email, chat bot, social media etc. have only resulted in negative or no response at all. By following them on Twitter, I found out that several people have the same complaint as mine and Goibibo gives the same general automated reply to everybody. In addition to this, they are unwilling to refund in cash and instead they are forcing me to take the refund in the form of a credit shell. In these difficult times, I want nothing more than my own money in my original account. I have no plans of travelling in the near future owing to the pandemic situation so the credit shell amount will be simply wasted. Hence, they are taking advantage of my situation and blocking my money without my consent. They are blaming the airlines for not refunding the cash and instead giving it in the form a credit shell. But I have written information from the airlines saying it's just the opposite. I am so frustrated with them. They are literally making me beg for my own money. I don't know what to do. I really need the money as soon as possible to sustain my family since I have no source of income for the last * months. Please help.

                    Cancelled my booking (Amdm3gv9p) mumbai-mauritius return for 2 adults +1 child on 23mar2020,
                    Received "refund initiation mail" on 29apr2020 that
                    No refund to bank
                    Amount refunded in gocash refund amount

                    But no refund received in bank as well as in gocash.
                    Also, refund amount stated in incorrect when booking was cancelled.
                    Kindly assist.

                        Though goibibo i had 2 flights booking for 7th june 2020 which i tried many times with customer executive to give me option for ticket cancelation benefits due covid 19 outbreak as per airlines air asia declared policy.

                        But on my repetitive request also goibibo support staff have done nothing, they referred me to airlines to talk with them while airlines (Air asia - ava) advising us go with on your travel agent.

                        On goibibo portal they have not given us any selection for cancelation due to covid-19 so i have to cancel my flight booking with normal cancelation selection at last moment.

                        Our mistake here is only that we done booking through a travel agent not direct with airlines company.

                        So i bear the loss of cancelation charges 4 hour before flight departure & not get the benefits of travel later due to covid -19 policy while airlines company (Air asia) providing this facility to their direct customer.

                            This is in regard to booking id: tuakdw33w.

                            It has been over a year (1 whole year from 2019 to 2020) following up with goibibo for refund. This is my 3rd complaint on consumer complaint forum and every time they label my complaint as [resolved] despite of doing nothing. I didn't know that refund process will be so much painful when goibibo claim that they are customer (User) friendly.
                            Every time i check the status of refund it shows under process or the emails i received from them state the same. For past 1 year its still under process. Please be specific with the dates or mention the years it will take to process, so that i don't have to wait for so long impatiently.
                            And this time kindly do not label this complaint as [resolved] without doing anything from your part.

                              As of now, created 5 tickets and none of are not answered with right information.

                              Moreover, in the last ticket "#31594533", it's suggested that not to raise any further quries".

                              Below are the list of tickets raised and tickets crated date.

                              Question is, why my refund amount is less??? When scoot travelers giving 100% return on flight cancel??
                              In each ticket, the response is completely different from other ticket

                              Scott provided me the reference number too, scoot reference number:[protected]. (Every time saying that check with scoot, what else to check with scoot?? They provided transaction reference number too)

                              Can someone please do the needful on this. Thank you

                                We have booked 2 different flight ticket for 4 passengers with goibibo.com, and because of covid 19 both flight cancelled. But their is no response from goibibo.com, continously following up for refund but always giving false promises. Now a days their cuatomer care directly disconnect our calls. Airline asking us to contact your travel agent because you have done booking with them not with airline. Really frastrate why we should book with goibibo.com. Really unhappy with approch of goibibo.com.in future how we should give chance to goibibo.com

                                    The flight (Pnr - ezbhrp) was cancelled because of the country wide lockdown. I had requested the airline (Air asia) to initiate a refund because i did not want credit shell. The airline has confirmed that they have refunded the amount to goibibo on 6th april 2020. However, goibibo has not refunded a penny to my bank account. It has been 70+ days. I am not able to contact the customer support team by any means. Please see my purchase history with goibibo. I have always been one of the premium customers of goibibo.
